JORDANNA AND KLAUS sat at the bar in Mystic Grill, sipping on bourbon. The witch letting out a laugh as Klaus whispered sweet nothings in her ear. Jordanna nudged The Original as she noticed Rebekah walk into the Grill, the pair watched as the blonde walked over to Matt who stood working at the bar.

"What's that?" Matt questioned as the Mikaelson placed a set of car keys on the counter top.

"The keys to your new truck," Rebekah smiled sheepishly. "It's parked outside, paid for, insured, everything but a big red bow."

Matt frowned at the vampire, his eyes flickering between her and the keys. "If that's your idea of an apology, you should probably give it to Elena. She's the one that you killed."

"You're trying too hard," Klaus piped up earning Rebekah's attention as Matt walked away from her, a scowl formed on her lips.

"Last I heard you were leaving town," Rebekah snapped back, flashing the witch a quick smile before her face turned sour again as she faced her brother.

"Well I was," Klaus stated, shrugging his shoulders as he pulled Jordanna with him ━ nearing the blonde. "But then I thought to myself, how can I when my sister, clearly so desperate for love and affection, is left here bribing the help?"

Both girls rolled their eyes at his remark. "What do you want, Nik? I thought I was dead to you."

"Things change, Rebekah. I've stumbled upon something I think might be of interest to you," Klaus told his sister with a smile.

      "Doubt that," Rebekah scoffed.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "No? Well, what if I told you the brotherhood of The Five still existed."

"What?" Rebekah gasped causing Klaus to smirk.

"You see, and like that . . . bygones. Come on, love, work to do." The man remarked making Rebekah scowl at him once again.

"We don't have to do anything. There is no we, I don't care about The Five and I don't care about you," the blonde snapped causing Klaus' face to fall for a second.

"As you wish," Klaus mumbled, sending Jordanna a quick glance before walking away.

Jordanna watched his retreating figure with a sigh before hesitantly turning to the blonde who slumped back down onto a bar stool, face rested in the palm of her hand.

"You okay?" The witch sat in the stool besides her friend with a small smile.

"No," Rebekah pouted. "He's trying to manipulate me, again, into doing something for him. Same old Nik, selfish as always."

"So don't do it for him," Jordanna shrugged, necking the last of her bourbon. "Do it for yourself. I don't exactly know what the Five is, but- "

"The Five is something from our past," Rebekah told her. "Though I'm sure Nik will fill you in on the rest." The Mikaelson turned to her friend, staring at her hesitantly before she spoke again. "Why are you still with him? He's selfish and doesn't care about anybody but himself. He will turn on you one day, he always does."

Jordanna pursed her lips as she played around with her glass, she shrugged her shoulders as she stared ahead. "He is selfish," Jordanna nodded her head in agreement. "I'll give you that but.. he's doing what he thinks is best, he's trying and.. I love him, he hasn't given me a reason to leave."

"Yet," Rebekah corrected. "I wouldn't get too comfortable, Nik always ruins the good he has in his life."

Jordanna nodded, unknowing of what to say before taking a glance over at the dirty blond bartender, "just be careful with Matt, okay? He's team Elena and I don't trust him but he'll come around eventually and if he doesn't then he's an ass."

Rebekah sent the witch a smile, placing her hand atop her own, "thank you, Jordanna."

Klaus opened the door to the cellar ━ letting the witch enter before he entered the room. Their eyes locked onto Connor's who was chained up, body pressed up against a piece of wood.

"Kinky," Jordanna muttered to Klaus who simply rolled his eyes at her comment.

"Looks like I'll have to beef up the hybrid security detail." The original called out in amusement, watching as the youngest Salvatore brother revealed himself from beneath the shadows.

"I was gonna' take him, but I figured you went through such troubles to truss him up in your red room of pain," Stefan stated with a shrug, gesturing to Connor.

Jordanna grinned playfully, "you've been watching too much Fifty Shades, Stef."

Stefan grunted out in annoyance whilst Klaus sent her an amused look before his gaze flickered back over to the Salvatore, "it's from the Inquisition. I thought it was a nice touch."

"What'd you get out of him?" Stefan inquired, looking between the two.

"Not enough," Klaus answered in slight distain. "He's mum about the Council fire and he's not saying anything about this greater evil we're all supposed to be shivering over."

"What brings you snooping, Stef?" Jordanna hummed as she let her eyes flicker over his figure in curiosity.

"Well, I can't say it in front of him. As I'm sure you've figured out, our friend here can't be compelled," Stefan told his friend, earning a malicious smirk to break out on her lips ━ the witch spun around to face the hunter.

"Connor, Connor, Connor," Jordanna sang with a grin, holding her hand out ━ watching as a small cut made its way along his neck. "Why don't you just tell us what you know, hm? It'll make life much easier for you, I assure you."

Connor let out a hiss, squinting his eyes as he felt a crimson liquid trickle down his neck, "I told you, I don't know anything."

       Boring.

Jordanna rolled her eyes and jolted her fist, sending a flicker of pain through the man's body, her face was unamused as she watched the man writher about in his chains. Clamping his eyes shut, Connor tried to block out the uncomfortable pain that ran through his veins as he slowly felt his blood boil.

Klaus looked towards the witch in admiration before his eyes fell on the chained up hunter, "thankfully, I know plenty."

The hybrid draped an arm around the Jones' shoulder before steering her out the room, gesturing for the Salvatore to follow. "So, what's with the home invasion?" Klaus narrowed his eyes.

"Damon said you knew something about this guy. Now, I should've figured out that you were up to something when you healed Elena from the werewolf poison without asking for anything in return," Stefan explained.

"I was feeling benevolent," Klaus shrugged in reply, an innocent smile played on his lips.

"You're never benevolent," Stefan retorted. "Not to anyone who isn't Jordanna."

"What jealous, Stefan?" Jordanna teased. "I know how close you two were in the twenties━ "

"Who is this guy? What's The Five?" The young vampire questioned relentlessly, cutting off the witch's teasing.

"So many questions, Stefanie," Jordanna shook her head, a playful smile sat on her lips.

"It's a good thing I have nothing to do today, except get answers out of the two of you," Stefan replied with a strained smile as he sat down.

"What, no moping about to do? No brooding, perhaps?" Jordanna questioned her best friend as she poured herself a drink.

"Fine. You might actually be useful in persuading my sister to co-operate," Klaus spoke, walking towards Jordanna before snatching her drink from her hands ━ ignoring the curse words she sent flying at him.

"The brotherhood of The Five was a group of highly skilled vampire hunters. We crossed paths with them during the twelfth century in Italy. My siblings and I had followed the Normans as they conquered the South. Feeding, turning people as we went," Klaus moved to sit in the seat opposite the vampire, pulling the witch down onto his lap as she neared the two. "But with the bloodshed, came exposure.."

"What? So these hunters have been around for 900 years?" Jordanna asked in confusion after Klaus had explained the story of 1114 Italy,  earning a nod in response from the hybrid.

"Apparently. Though our friend in the other room is the first I've seen since then. Kind of makes you wonder what they've been up to all these years," Klaus replied, spreading his arms out on the back of the chair, his fingers twisting a lock of Jordanna's hair ━ tugging on it slightly.

"And Rebekah had a thing with one of them?" Stefan questioned causing a smirk to lace Klaus' lips.

"Oh, she didn't just have a thing. She fell in love with him, he told her all his secrets. Which I will gladly share with you provided you do one thing for me," Klaus leant forward in his seat as Jordanna moved off his lap to refill her glass.

"And what's that?" Stefan raised his brows.

"Get Rebekah over here, she's being stubborn and hateful. I need to make peace with her," Klaus rose from his seat, stalking over to his witch.

"I mean, you could always apologise," Jordanna muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes as Klaus shot her a look of disbelief, placing his hand on his heart mockingly.

"And what's in it for me?" Stefan questioned.

"Just get her here and I'll tell you. Oh, and Stefan, trust me when I say this ━ that hunter in there holds the answer to all your prayers."

"You feeling alright, mate?" Klaus taunted Connor as he and Jordanna stood in the cellar to check on the hunter. The witch stood with a devious smirk plastered on her glossed lips as she watched the man grunt in discomfort.

"Are the shackles too tight, doll?" Jordanna tilted her head, lips pouted slightly. Klaus' amused look slipped into a grin as he looked over at the Jones before his gaze shifted over to the cellar door.

"Welcome home, sister." The original greeted as Rebekah and Stefan both entered the room.

The blonde sent a smile to her friend before her eyes landed on the hunter behind her. "Is this a trick? How do you know he's one of The Five? Where's his bloody tattoo?"

"Oh, his tattoos aren't visible on this lot like they were on the last. Let's eat," Klaus let out a smirk before he led the three to the dining room, Jordanna taking the seat next to Klaus and opposite Rebekah.

"Thank you, my lovely," Klaus spoke to the girl who had brought the four their food ━  earning a small smile from the woman as she walked away with a tint of pink covering her cheeks causing Jordanna to scoff slightly under her breath.

Klaus subtly placed his hand on the witches thigh under the table, amusement evident on his features at her jealously. "I could kiss the Council for burning up all the vervain in town. They made my life so much easier," his eyes land on Rebekah teasingly. "Rebekah, love, eat your veggies."

Jordanna let out a small laugh whilst Rebekah scowled at her brother in annoyance, "I'm not eating until you apologise."

"For which indiscretion? There have been so many," Klaus spoke sarcastically.

"You broke my neck," the blonde spat.

"You threw away Elena's blood so I can't make anymore hybrids," Klaus snapped back, Jordanna and Stefan shared a look as the two originals continued to bicker.

"Because you took me for granted," Rebekah hissed earning an eye roll from her brother.

"That's what big brothers do, sweetheart!"

"Let me just name the million other people I'd rather be having dinner with right now," Stefan muttered under his breath, taking a large sip from his wine glass. Jordanna snorted as she took her own glass to her lips, hiding her grin as the two Mikaelson's shot them annoyed glares.

"Alright, fine. I'm sorry, I often forget how delicate you are. Forgive me?" Klaus apologised, smiling at his sister.

"I'll take it under consideration," Rebekah nodded her head slightly.

"Okay, good," Stefan smiled, leaning forward in his chair. "Now why don't you tell me about Rebekah's hunter."

"Right, Alexander. Nice chap, foregoing the obvious issue," Klaus' hand ran up and down Jordanna's thigh causing her to shoot him a stern look, ignoring it, the hybrid continued. "He was looking for creatures of the night which is why we felt quite safe around him wearing our daylight rings."

"So that's what this is about? A weapon?" Stefan furrowed his brows, sharing a look of confusion with the witch.

"Not just any weapon," Rebekah shook her head.

"Rebekah, love. Don't get ahead of the story," Klaus smirked as he lifted his wine glass to his lips. Earning a small annoyed huff from the blonde.

"How is a weapon the answer to all my prayers?" The younger vampire asked in confusion, shaking his head, looking between the two.

"Yeah, I'd like to know the same," Jordanna spoke up. "I mean, what? Does this weapon magically get rid of his obsession with the Gilbert bitch orrr?"

"Shut up, JJ," Stefan grumbled, kicking the witch in the shin resulting in the witch harshly kicking him back.

"Children," Klaus grumbled under his breath whilst Rebekah pinched her nose in annoyance.

"Okay," Stefan breathed out as he glared at Jordanna. "How about we skip the theatrics and get to the point?"

"Not quite yet. Because in order to find this weapon, we need to solve the puzzle. Which seems to have disappeared," Klaus revealed, putting yet another frown on the two best friends' faces.

"What puzzle?" Stefan questioned in puzzlement.

"The tattoo?" Jordanna guessed, looking over at the hybrid.

"Precisely," Klaus nodded with a smirk , drawing shapes into the witch's thigh.

"Well, what does it do?" Jordanna asked as she attempted to pry Klaus' hand off her thigh as it slowly rose higher up her leg.

"The tattoo is a map. Leading us to it's treasure," Klaus revealed.

"Fat lot of good a tattoos gonna do if we can't see it," Rebekah muttered, tone laced in annoyance.

"We can't. But someone else can," the hybrid turned to the waitress from before. "Why don't you bring him in, love?"

Jordanna scowled at the charming smile the hybrid sent the blonde and grabbed her wine glass, letting the rest of the liquid slide down her throat as she glared at the girl as she walked away.

"You see, the hunter was so eager to get to the bottom of his mystery tattoos he mentioned there was only one other person that could see them," Klaus explained with an amused grin.

Jordanna furrowed her brows as a hybrid walked into the room with Jeremy Gilbert, thrashing about in his hold. Jordanna pursed her lips as her eyes met the Gilbert's ━ the two hadn't spoken properly since the night of the dance as they comforted one another after Alaric had died.

The cause of the two not talking was result of the young boy's new distaste of the Jones since she well.. killed his sister.

Tragic, really.

Stefan sped out of his chair, rushing towards the young boy only to get pushed away by Klaus who stood between them. "I wouldn't." The hybrid placed his hand on Stefan's chest. "Lucky for us, young Jeremy here is a bit of an artist."

Jeremy shook his head with a scowl, "I'm not helping you with anything." His eyes found Jordanna's again. "Either of you."

The witch simply rolled her eyes, ( he must still be salty about the whole Elena situation ). She watched as the hybrid who was holding onto Jeremy grab his hand and rip his ring from his finger before tossing it to Klaus. Her eyes followed the ring as Klaus gripped onto it, though Jordanna and Jeremy were at blows she wouldn't let him get hurt, she understood his anger towards her.. after all she did kill his sister.

"Oh, I'm afraid you are," Klaus mused, tauntingly holding the ring up to the Gilbert boy's face as he ordered one of his hybrid's to take the teenager to the chained up hunter.

"So, tell me more about this tattoo," Stefan demanded, looking towards the hybrid with a pointed look.

"My sister's suitor was unwilling to tell us anything," Klaus revealed, walking across the room to pour himself another drink. "Rebekah, however, was more than willing to investigate. Isn't that right?"

Rebekah looked down at the table in shame as her mind flooded with the memories of 1114 Italy.

"My sister's boyfriend threw a slumber party that night. He and his brothers put us all down in our sleep. Elijah, Kol, Finn and me," Klaus looked towards his sister with raised eyebrows.

"How was I supposed to know?" Rebekah scoffed slightly, the guilt eating at her.

"Cheers, to my sister's uncanny ability to choose men," Klaus taunted with a smirk, mockingly raising his glass.

"Don't be an asshole," Jordanna scolded, becoming slightly defensive over her friend. The witch understood Rebekah, all she wanted was to be loved by someone ━ she used to feel the same way. Her track record with men and women wasn't amazing for her young age, but the women she let in her life, before Klaus that is, weren't great. But the men? . . . They were far worse.

They manipulated her.

Used her.

Hurt her.

Though she did get her revenge it still wounded her, because it still happened. Her 'tough', 'sarcastic' façade was nothing more than a . . . façade.

"I thought the daggers didn't work on you because of your werewolf side," Stefan asked in puzzlement, pulling Jordanna back into reality.

"They don't."

"Go ahead, Rebekah," Klaus prompted. "Tell them, tell them what the hunter told you the tattoo leads to. What is this great weapon that could bring the end of the vampire species."

"A cure," Rebekah mumbled, lifting her head to look at the three. "He said there was a cure."

"There is no cure for vampirism," Stefan shook his head in disbelief whilst him and Jordanna shared a shocked look.

"He's telling the truth, Stefan," Rebekah murmured, a small sad frown present on her face. Jordanna reached out and grasped the blonde's hand in her own, earning a small smile from the original.

"Why didn't you look for it, then?" Jordanna questioned with furrowed brows as the three rose from their seats and followed Klaus into the parlour.

"Because when the hunters drew their final breath that night, the marks disappeared from their body. The map was gone, The Brotherhood of The Five extinct. For nine hundred years, there was not a whisper of another hunter until our friend in there showed up in town," Klaus revealed as the three listened intently.

Rebekah placed her hands on her hips, "well, now we have the map, what do we do next?"

"We don't do anything. You can't be trusted, little sister. You'll be blabbing this secret to the first boy who calls you pretty. I mean, it's pathetic isn't it? How she continues to hand her heart to any man who shows her a hint of affection. You'd think she would have learned by now from endless disappointment and deception," Klaus taunted, the words fell from his mouth with venom.

"Nik━ "

"But I haven't!" Rebekah yelled, instantly cutting Jordanna off. "Instead I stayed with you and let you leech every moment of happiness from my life! You know, at least I fared better than Finn. Klaus left him daggered because he was tired of his judgement," The blonde's eyes looked between the two best friends who stood awkwardly watching the siblings fight, once again.

"No, Finn was a dullard. He was more interesting lying in a box," Klaus snapped irritably, raising his hand as he pointed at his sister.

"You want the cure for Elena don't you? So you can go back to mass producing your hybrids. That's why you brought Stefan here, because you knew he'd help you even though he hates your guts. You know what? You can shove your cure," Rebekah spat, storming out the Mikaelson residence ━ loudly slamming the door shut.

"Do you have to be such a dick to her all the time?" Jordanna scowled, shaking her head in annoyance as she walked away from the hybrid.

Jordanna sat in Klaus' study, nursing a glass of bourbon ━ her feet rested on the desk as she waited for the hybrid to return. After she had stormed out earlier she had yet to see Klaus and that was hours ago.

Her eyes flickered from the mahogany desk to Klaus as he entered the room, grim expression on his face. Her eyes squinted shut slightly as he let out a deep breath before joining her, sitting in the seat opposite.

"What'd you do?" Jordanna questioned with a sigh, as she downed the last of her drink before placing the glass down on the surface.

"What makes you believe I did something?" Klaus rolled his eyes.

"Because it's you ━ you're bound to do something stupid sooner or later," she answered honestly as she stared him down.

Klaus leant back in his chair, placing his hand under his chin as he looked up at the witch, "Rebekah revealed where the dagger was buried."

"Okay.." Jordanna trailed off, removing her feet from the desk as she leant forward in anticipation. "So why do you look like someone just killed your dog then?"

Klaus pursed his lips, looking away as he pushed his hips up slightly, adjusting himself before he spoke. "Because I daggered her.."

"You what?" Jordanna blinked, her jaw clenching slightly.

"Don't look at me like that," Klaus snapped, gesturing a hand to her face. "I did what I had to do, okay? She was a loose end and I will undagger her when the time is right."

"She's your sister, Nik," Jordanna argued.

"And that is precisely why I daggered her," Klaus waved his hands about dramatically. "Because she is my sister. Look, Jordanna, I can't trust anyone with matters this sensitive."

Jordanna looked at him weirdly, "how the fuck does that make any sense?"

"It will in time," Klaus explained vaguely, shooting up from his seat ━ mood suddenly changed.

The hybrid approached the witch with a smug smirk, placing his hand on her cheek as his thumb caressed her face. "How do you feel about a trip to Italy?"
