-Mystic Falls Highschool

JORDANNA STRUTED INTO the gym of Mystic Falls High, all eyes on her as she rudely pushed her way through the crowd, looking for her friends. The sound of her heels clicking after her drowned out as they padded against the floor of the gymnasium, the loud music rippling through the air.

Spotting her friends, she shoved past the heaps of people and plastered a big smirk on her glossed lips. "Well aren't you two an attractive pair," she called out, earning their attention.

"You look stunning!" Bonnie gasped upon seeing Jordanna's outfit as the Jones did a small, playful, twirl. Truth be told she did indeed look stunning.

"I know," the older witch replied with a sheepish grin on her lips. "You both look gorgeous," she complimented both Bonnie and Elena, looking them up and down with a teasing smirk.

Damon Salvatore approached the three girls, eyes glistening in arrogance. "Well don't you look gorgeous," he spoke, shamelessly flirting as he threw an arm around Jordanna's shoulder.

"Obviously," she hummed before taking a glance at him, shrugging his arm off of her. "You look . . .  not ugly," she smirked teasingly, meeting his eyes.

By all means this little interaction meant nothing, it was normal for her and Damon to flirt—but it never went beyond that, Stefan on the other hand was her best friend, when he first came to Mystic Falls she found great amusement in flirting with him as he'd get all awkward and would clear his throat about a billion times. It was cute.

Now, she found amusement in flirting with his brother—because that annoyed him. Oh, how she just loved making him mad, it brought her too much joy.

Dana's voice interrupted their little moment of intense staring, thank God for that. "Thank you for being here everybody," her voice boomed through the speakers.

All the students cheered loudly in response as she went on. "We have a special shout-out tonight, this is for Elena," she announced, spotting Elena in the crowd, their eyes met as Dana's clueless self smiled at the Gilbert. "From Klaus."

"Meraviglioso" wonderful the Jones girl muttered under her breath.

They all froze as 'dedicated to the one I love' played loudly, echoing through the speakers of the gym. "That was just a lame, cheap shot," the eldest Salvatore scoffed bitterly with an eyeroll. "He's just trying to bait us."

"I know everyone here," the doppelganger told them, shaking her head. Letting out an annoyed groan, the Jones witch turned to Damon and dragged him towards Alaric who stood by the punch table.

"Special dedication huh?" Klaus spoke, trying to fight off the smile that threatened to take over his face. "This guy's a little twisted."

"I'm not impressed," Damon answered with a scowl just as Jordanna snorted.

"I've done better." A hint of a smirk laced her pink, glossy lips as she thought back to the death of her father and the many others who plagued her existence. "This guy's supposed to be 'ruthless' or whatever . . . a little speech at a High-school dance? Boringgg. So not impressed."

Klaus was supposed to be the 'biggest, baddest vampire around' ( Alaric's words, not hers. She wouldn't give him that much props ), and yet this was his attempt at scaring Elena. Really? Not to brag or anything  . . . ( she was totally gonna' brag ) but she had once sent her father the head of one of the men he had been working with, but Klaus . . .  Klaus sent a warning in the form of a song.

Cute.

"No?" The Original asked in curiosity.

"Let me know if you see anything out of whack," Damon said, ignoring Alaric's question before sauntering off into the crowd.

Alaric turned to the witch beside him and asked, "what's your take on all of this Klaus business?"

Jordanna looked at him briefly before speaking. "I mean I get why he's doing it," she started but seeing the shocked look on Alaric's face she quickly explained. "If someone took apart of me I'd fight for it back too, just unfortunate Elena is in the middle of it. At one point I did lose my magic and it was awful, you feel empty without it, like something's missing and you'd do anything to get it back."

Never in his one thousand years of existence had anyone understood why he needed this, sure Elijah and Rebekah stood by his side but they didn't understand what it felt like. He felt obligated to know her, as if he had to do it.

Though he had to remind himself that he didn't care, nor did he have the time. He wasn't going to let a mere attraction get in the way of what he wanted. She was just a witch, a human at that. He didn't care for humans. She was beautiful, he'd give her that, but he had other things on his mind. Things that his siblings couldn't understand.

But then again Kol knew. Kol knew how it felt, Kol understood what it meant to feel that loss, to lose that part of you—you connect to it. It becomes apart of you and when it slips away . . . you feel empty.

"How'd you lose your magic?" He questioned, watching her closely as for a brief second her smile faltered before she regained herself.

Tapping her nose as if to tell him to 'mind his own' she turned to the the history teacher with a teasing smile, "ah, can't tell you all my secrets, can I Ricky?"

He let out a small, laugh looking over at the crowd as she went to dance with Annalise, a girl in her class.

Stefan interrupted her dancing when he dragged her away towards Elena. "Um, I have something to tell you both and you're not gonna' like it," he said vaguely.

Jordanna rolled her eyes at the reluctant look on his face, "spit it out, Stef."

"If Bonnie takes on Klaus, channelling all that energy's going to kill her," he told them softly. Jordanna knew something would happen to Bonnie, taking on an Original and having one hundred dead witches' power channelling inside of you wasn't good. Her body wouldn't deal with it, not properly anyway, otherwise she would've been born to it.

Just like Jordanna, her body was made for it, a lot more than that, too. She could do this, if it got Bonnie out of dying she would do it, it's not like it'd kill her anyway.

She's Jordanna Jones, for fuck sake she could take on anyone and win.

Okay, she knew she sounded arrogant. But I mean, she sorta' had a right to be. She's faced a lot in her 17 years of life and is still alive and kicking . . . which is a good sign I guess . . .

Elena pulled her out her thoughts when she grabbed her hand and dragged her to Bonnie. "We need to talk to you," the doppelganger told the Bennett sternly.

As the three sauntered outside the Gilbert girl turned to Bonnie with a hurt look. "How could you not tell us?" Elena asked as Jordanna just stood with a hardened glare at the Bennett witch's head, crossing her arms over her chest.

"'Cause I knew how you'd react," she told them, hesitantly looking towards Jordanna. Bonnie's face softened when she looked at the girl. To Elena Jordanna looked pissed, very pissed, which she was—but if you looked close enough you could see the hurt, the sadness in her eyes.

Bonnie looked close enough.

"Oh, yeah?" Jordanna said, taking a step forward. "How'd you think we'd react, Bonnie? You can't put your life on the line like this!" She seethed, steam practically coming from her ears. "Knowing you wouldn't survive, find another damn way. Do you hear me?"

"It's not an option," Elena added.

"It's our only option," Bonnie stressed. Jordanna wanted to tear her hair out and feed it to her. Or strangle her with it. Or maybe—

"No. It isn't," Jordanna firmly told her.

"I have the power to save Elena!" The Bennett cried out, ignoring the Jones witch.

"Damn it, Bonnie! I can-" she started but was interrupted by Alaric.

"Elena!"

"What is it?" Elena frantically asked upon seeing the look painted across his features while Jordanna stood, glaring at him for interrupting her. People really need to stop doing that.

"He has Jeremy," he told the doppelganger and her friends.

"What?" Elena panicked.

"Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy. Come on," he quickly ushered the girls inside, into the hallway.

"Where you taking us, Ricky?" Jordanna pressed, clicking her tongue against her mouth.

"Just a little further," he told them, ignoring her question.

"Where's Jeremy?" Bonnie demanded.

Klaus laughed as he stopped walking, "I just had to get away from that dance. The 60's ugh," he groaned theatrically just as Jordanna muttered a small summoning spell under her breath, seconds later a baseball bat was firmly held between one of her delicate hands.

"I much preferred the twenties, the style, the parties, the jazz," he finished while Jordanna shoved the two girls behind her, grip on Barry tightening.

Elena eyed the nail covered bat in the girl's hands, 'Barry' as the witch liked to call him. Whenever the baseball bat was out it was always ended bloody. Yes, the girl was an excellent witch, however sometimes when it was more personal she liked to bring out 'Barry'.

Going after Bonnie was certainly personal.

"That's not Ricky, ladies," she informed the two behind her as they slowly backed away.

Klaus smirked at the girl. "I knew you'd understand sweetheart," he beamed. "You've shown to be quite nimble-witted, so far."

Jordanna inwardly pulled a face at his words, nibble-what now?

"What?" Elena breathed out, brows creased in confusion. Jordanna and Klaus both rolled their eyes at the girl's stupidity. Did Jordanna not just say, 'that's not, Ricky' or did she imagine that?

"I'll give you a hint, I am not Alaric," Klaus watched as fear and shock formed on the doppelganger's face, eliciting in a bright grin to slip on his lips. "Surprise! Just relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you, you're not on my hit list tonight," he told her before turning to Jordanna. "Or you sweetheart, unless you're going to be a problem, of course."

Jordanna tilted her head in pretend thought. "You can try," she smiled sarcastically.

He smirked at her arrogance before facing the Bennett witch, "but you are." He stalked towards the witch, flying back through the air as she threw him into some lockers. He laughed manically as he got himself up from the floor, only to be thrown back down by Jordanna as she brought her bat to his side roughly, her face splattering with his blood.

He stumbled again, coming to a stand, noticing she had disappeared from his sight. Only for her to appear behind him, sharply bringing the bat down onto his back, nails roughly imprinting into his skin. Sorry Ric.

She laughed as she watched him fall to the ground on all fours and began hitting him again, repeating the action until her arms got tired.

Wow, she really needs to hit the gym.

"Now I'm glad I put new nails on Barry," she muttered to herself, smiling sinisterly.

Ah, it was the small things that brought her joy.

Small things like fresh nails on Barry. Meaning . . . ( cue dramatic drumroll ), they were sharper.

It hurt more.

She smiled at the fact.

Alaric regained himself as he got up, trying to cover the pained grimace that spread across his face, "now, did I mention that I know a witch? You're gonna' have to hit me a lot harder than that."

Just by looking at the man Jordanna threw him into the display case, breaking all of his little toes. She thought it was poetic, sue her.

Klaus merely laughed, impressed that she didn't even have to move a muscle. He had some sort of fascination with witches he couldn't explain. Maybe it was their power he envied, he wasn't sure, but he knew one thing,  they were a pain in the arse. "By all means—fire away!" He pulled himself up from the floor, an uneven, staggered breath leaving his lips. "If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy."

Ew.

"Go. Run, run," Bonnie screamed at Elena. She knew that Jordanna wouldn't die, the girl was like a cockroach, just kept coming back every single damn time no matter how much you try.

The three teenagers ran through the many hallways, feet skidding across as they tried to balance themselves ( well, Bonnie and Elena anyway, Jordanna had plenty of practise running for her life in heels ). Eventually they found Damon who was stalking the halls, looking for them as Jordanna slammed the door shut with a wave of her hand.

"What happened?" He questioned, arms flailing out in frustration as he looked over the blood on the Jones witch's face.

"Klaus is in Alaric's body," Jordanna told him calmly, catching her breath.

"He's possessing it or something," Bonnie informed the vampire.

"Go find Stefan now," he told the doppelganger who muttered a quick okay before running off to go find him.

"Can you kill him?" He questioned Bonnie.

"He's got some kind of protection spell on him-" she started to only be cut off by an agitated vampire.

"-You have the power of a hundred witches, break it."

"It's not that easy Damon," Jordanna gritted her teeth in annoyance. Klaus was a thousand  years old. Damon couldn't really think it'd be that easy, could he? But then again it's Damon, Jordanna had to remind herself, he's an idiot with a pea-sized brain.

"I'm trying. If I kill Alaric he'll just possess someone else," Bonnie explained, tiredly running a hand down her face.

Jordanna was stuck in her own thoughts on how to deal with this without Bonnie dying. None of them were going to let her do a damn thing. She had only just gotten her magic back, Stefan was wary of it—he wanted her to be careful, not knowing if she was still as strong as she was before. Leaving the heavy weight to Bonnie. So she was going to help her in any way she could. Anyway, getting back on track, Klaus has a protection spell on him-

"A protection spell," Jordanna suddenly announced, earning Damon and Bonnie's attention. "I'll put a protection spell on you, you'll die but then you'll be," she spoke, stopping she looked for the right word. "Undead?" She offered with a grimace. "Klaus'll think you're dead, and it'll be a helluva' shock when you show up and kick his ass," she told Bonnie with a smirk.

Damon and Jordanna had split up making Jordanna's job easier.

She had to pretend she didn't know the plan because if Klaus saw her not shed a single tear to her best friend's death it would be a bit suspicious. So cue the actor in her . . .

Jordanna joined Stefan, Elena and Damon in the hallway. She frowned at Damon as he spoke, "she's doing what she has to do."

"What?" Elena breathed out in shock.

"Where is she, Damon?" Jordanna asked the Salvatore in faux anger. It took every muscle in her body not to laugh. Maybe if she survived all this she could be an actor, after all Caroline had forced her to go to drama lessons with her. She was basically a pro at this point.

She ran down the hallway in distraught, 'terrified for her best friend's life.' God—if her mom saw her right now she didn't know if she'd scold her for being reckless or be proud of her. Either way Jordanna found herself pretty funny as she ran yelling, "Bonnie!"

Finding the room where Bonnie was was easy, just follow the strange noises. She wondered what everyone else thought was happening, the place sounded like a freakin' hurricane was going off. "Bonnie!" She yelled in fake fear, Bonnie raised her eyebrows slightly, mildly impressed with her 'acting' skills. "Bonnie, no!"

Get her a damn award.

Sparks emitted from the lights down the hall as the Bennett fought against Klaus. Bonnie turned to her best friend and mouthed, 'I love you.' They both knew she wasn't going to die, but they both so desperately needed to hear it it.

Ashamed to admit, it actually brought a tear to the Jones' eye. Pretty girl's don't cry. "Bonnie, no!" Elena screamed next to Jordanna, tightly grasping onto her hand. They banged and banged on the doors with all their force when suddenly the doors jolted opened, just as Bonnie's body fell limp on the floor.

The trio raced to the girl, Jordanna obviously knew she wasn't dead but seeing Bonnie like this wasn't something she wanted to see ever. "Bon-Bon," she muttered lowly, as a tear fell from her waterline, dampening her cheeks. Although she was sad, she wasn't feeling guilty about knowing, she saved Bonnie, she was gonna' be okay and that's all that mattered to her. Bonnie being safe.

"Bonnie," Elena sobbed, repeating her name over and over again while Jordanna sat silently, staring down at the girl, stroking her hair as her head laid in her lap.

Damon walked into the cafeteria, looking towards his brother, "get them out of here, I'll deal with the body."

"What do you mean 'deal with it'?" Elena seethed, glancing up at him momentarily.

"The sheriff can't know about this. Last thing we need is another body," Damon told his brother, blocking out the Gilbert's words as he tried to take Bonnie from Jordanna's arms. "Get them home now," the Salvatore told his brother—ignoring the enraged doppelganger.

Stefan just nodded, grabbing the two girls before speeding off.

Bonnie Bennett and Jordanna Jones met through Sheila and Mary, Mary's father had died when she was young leaving her with her mother, Sofía, and after finding out she was a witch she left the 13 year old girl; not wanting a monster, as a daughter. She thought it was inhumane.

Sheila, living next door, saw Sofía ( formerly Rossi ) Jones leaving, arms full of bags and she figured she wasn't coming back. So she took Mary in, years went on and the women were still so close, practically mother and daughter. The Bennetts were family.

"Here, drink this," Stefan spoke softly, holding out a glass of bourbon to her.

"Fuck off," Jordanna grumbled taking the alcohol, she hated being coddled, especially by men.

It was like a fly that just won't piss off, annoying as fuck.

"O-kay," he muttered going to comfort Elena.

Damon sauntered into the room and Elena quickly jumped out of her seat as Jordanna stood quietly next to Damon. "What did you do with her?" Elena asked, gritting her teeth.

"Will you please calm her down?" Damon ignored her, eyes on his brother.

Waving her arm around dramatically the doppelganger spoke with teary eyes, "don't talk like I'm not standing right in front of you."

"Please calm down, Elena," Jordanna told her, releasing a breath as Elena walked closer to the two raven-heads.

"You knew?" Elena scoffed at her friend.

Jordanna rolled her eyes in response, "yes I knew."

Everyone's eyes widened as Elena raised her hand to slap the witch but she quickly caught her arm, gripping onto it tightly Jordanna pulled the doppelganger closer, so that their faces were nearly touching. "Do you wanna' lose your hand?" She snapped, you're being a tad bit dramatic, J. "Ever do that again and I'll cut it off and feed it to you," she warned.

Dramatic ass, she internally rolled her eyes.

"Jordanna," Damon breathed out in warning, the Jones turned back to look at him and smiled tightly, releasing her grip on the doppelganger.

Elena was shaking, she had seen this side of Jordanna before and that scared her, but she had never once been on the receiving end of it. She hated it, she felt pity for everyone who had ever made her mad.

Okay so maybe that was a little dramatic threating her friend for trying to slap her, but she has a reputation to uphold and can't be caught slipping, can she my darlings?

Besides . . . you have no idea how long she's waited to at least threaten Elena.

It was quite overdue if she was being honest.

"You need to listen to what he has to say and be prepared for it," the witch gritted her teeth in annoyance before letting the doppelganger go. Elena's hand instantly went to the spot the witch grabbed, rubbing it comfortingly.

The couple turned to Damon for answers, Elena doing her best to avoid Jordanna's eyes. "Bonnie had to die, Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise," Damon explained with a small shake of his head. "She wasn't prepared for that, and he wasn't going to stop. And we weren't gonna' be able to stop him until he knew she was dead."

"He had to believe it," he continued, Elena's face softened in realisation. "JJ cast a spell, Bonnie's okay," he told her and all eyes went to Jordanna who looked uninterested with the conversation.

"Jordanna- thank you," the doppelganger said, smiling thankfully towards the raven-haired girl.

She scoffed. "I did it for Bonnie, Elena, not you," she told the doppelganger before uttering bye to Damon and Stefan as she left the Salvatore residence.

"Stronza," bitch she exclaimed as she walked home.
