1. How would you describe your Wattpad journey?

To answer this question, I would say my journey has been super long and fun. I've been on Wattpad since 2015 and I have fandom hopped so many times. I've been a huge Marvel fan, Teen Wolf fan, Euphoria fan, and now managed to wiggle my way in the Anime community to write content for that. It's been such a long journey because I've witnessed the changes on Wattpad within the years. I've witnessed authors get officially published and so much more. It's been one hell of a journey and to say I'm still here is quite interesting.

2. How do you deal hate comments?

I usually just mute/block them and don't respond. I'm not really the type to go back & forth with someone over the Internet (and especially an app meant for writing and reading). I've been getting weird messages about me writing fic about Ran Haitani from Tokyo Revengers. I even was included in a weird troll expose book, but I just didn't respond. I just refuse to step out of my character over someone who can't even send me hate from their actual account and not a back up or new account.

3. What book gave you the most writer's block?

Sculptures because I have not planned out that book compared to my Cam Competition book. I got Sculptures idea out the blue and just started semi plotting it. I would say the only thing I have planned out is the ending, but other than that I just write and go with the flow. There's times where I'll start a chapter for the book and then delete it because I got writer's block. It may be hours or even days until I look at the Google docs for the book. I also contemplate deleting it sometimes, but I know that there are many people that love that story so I write for them.

4. What is your favorite book of yours that you've written?

That's a hard question because all the books I've created even the ones I lost motivation for and unpublished off Wattpad are like my children. I definitely think Cam Competition is my favorite because it's the first book where I actually sat down and planned it out bit by bit. It's also the one where I feel like I've wrote the male lead aka Geto quite well. I'm highkey going to tear up when I finish that book, which it's actually half way done.

5. What book do you think you could've done better on?

It was one Eren Yeager x Black Reader book I had, I wouldn't say I wish I could have done better on it. However, I do wish I didn't give up on it. I felt like the plot was pretty good and what I had planned out to happen was good. However, I just gave up on it and lost motivation to write for it. Which is understandable because it happens a lot with writers, but I do feel bad for abandoning it. It was my first ever anime book ever.

6. How long have you been on Wattpad?

I've been on Wattpad for 6 years. I believe I made my account in 2015.

7. What made you want to write in the first place?

I've always loved writing growing up. It always came to me naturally when it came to writing no matter what I was writing. I just didn't know it was other people like me that wrote fanfic books until I joined Wattpad.

8. What do you do when writing?

I also light my favorite candle and listen to music. Both of those things definitely help me with writing when I'm in a writing mood. I also have to be in a quiet setting, like my room or even a public library.

9. What time of day do you usually write at?

It's currently 10:19pm where I'm from, which is around the time I write best. Even with one of my jobs which consist of me writing, I usually do it at night since it's quiet both outside and in my house. As long as it's night time, that's when you'll catch me writing

10. Did you ever think "Melanin" would get as popular as it is now?

No, I really didn't. I'm actually quite shocked that it got that many reads, votes, and comments. Which I like to say that Tik Tok helped because I do promote my work on Tik tok. But I still didn't know it was going have 7k reads. It's honestly just a book filled with quick stuff I write out of boredom. I'm just glad, people actually reading my work. I'm super grateful for that.

11. Does writing ever get stressful for you?

Yes, it does. As a person who's much older than many writers on there that write anime content on Wattpad, I sometimes have to step back and not write for a day or two because it gets stressful trying to write and then also balance adulting. I have a life outside of Wattpad that is hectic and fun, then I get stressed out because I haven't updated in a while and feel bad for it. There are times where I just want to not write anymore, but then I read some of my mutuals work and just gain so much inspiration.

12. Favorite music artists?

That's such a good question because I love music so much. But if I had to choose a top five, I would choose Brent Faiyaz, Summer Walker, Chloe x Halle, Billie Eilish, and Frank Ocean

13. Favorite animes?

It's a tie between Attack on Titan and Michiko to Hatchin

14. What career do you want to pursue in the future?

I always mention how I'm older than a lot of people on Wattpad who write anime content, so when I saw this answer I literally chuckled because I'm already pursuing the career I want which is a journalist.

15. Any hobbies other than writing?

I love listening to music, hanging out with my friends, going shopping (I love fashion, that's like my second thing i love after writing), and playing with my mom's cat

16. What anime universe would you want to live in?

I would probably say a sports anime like Kuroko no Basket/Kuroko's Basketball or Haikyuu. I say this because it just seem like a happy world to live in compared to other worlds where something bad always happens on Halloween or in the Shibuya district.

17. Least favorite book of yours that you've written?

I definitely think it was this old Gojo Satoru and Nanami Kento fanfic. It just was so horrible and had so many plotholes in it. I deleted it out of embarrassment .

18. What made you specifically want to write for black readers?

I been writing fanfics for years and just felt is so funny when I would read about reader being obviously white. I just felt like it would only be better for me to write black reader content so we can feel included and be able to visualize ourselves with our favorite characters. It's only fair you know. We exist in fandoms just as much as others.

19. Anything to say to the supporters?

I really appreciate each and everyone you guys for reading my content. I wouldn't have reached 2K followers without you guys. Thank you so much for continuing to read my work and comment on it. I'm extremely grateful for each and every one of you. Also, remember you're amazing and that bitch. ๐Ÿ˜‚
