"Goodluck gulay!" Si staire.

"Goodluck ms gaile!" Si yurie.

"Goodluck gailey!" Si yukina

"Goodluck lovebirds!!!" Sigaw ni chayan. I just glared at her.

"Goodluck to us," Tae chuckled.

"Yeah, goodluck to us" I uttered and we entered the poem room.

The moment we entered, I saw a lit of contestants. I took a deep breath and chill myself. I'm a bit nervous.

I felt someone squeezed my hand. "I'm here" he smiled. I felt a million butterflies in my stomach. I felt safe in her arm. Feeling comfortable with this position make me giggled.

Umupo kami sa may silya na may table.

"Goodmorning all contestants, I hope you'll enjoy this contest this is not about winning just enjoy yourself okay? So let's start now!" The mc said.  All of us move.

Tae opened his twitter and type our poem. The title of our poem was 'A distance' a short poem us enough as long as maraming votes don sila babase sa winners.

In a world of letters, of words and whispers,
I found a heart that beats in sync with mine.
In the digital realm, we met,
Our paths crossed, our hearts entwined.

Through miles may lie between you and me,
We're never apart, love knows no boundary.
Through screens. we met, and through words, we spoke, In this digital world, our love began to evoke.

Hinayaan nalang namin ang mga likes kung mananalo man kami good and if not okay na 'rin.

After five minutes dumating na ang results nang votings.

"The 3rd placer, ....congratulations ms coha and cohan!" A lot of us chanting and screaming their name's.

"The 2nd placer, ......congratulations ms taxy and mitchi" pumalakpak kami.

"The 1st placer? Who will be? What do you think?" Paiba iba kaming sinisigaw na pangalan. To be honest I'm a bit nervous.

"The winner is........." the mc paused " congratulations ms gaile and tae chanzie!" Sigaw ng mc. Bigla ako napatayo at yumakap kay tae. Inikot naman ako nito habang kayap sya. Agad kung narealized kung ano ginawa ko kaya tinapik ko sya at bumitaw.

"Congratulations!!!"

"Thank you!"

"Thanks"

"Congratulations"

"Congrats"

Nang lumabas kami ng tana's building bumungad samin ang mga council sa labas. I whispered to tae na magpanggap kami na talo.

"Oh ano?" Nang mapansin ni chayan na nakalukot ang mukha namin.

"Nanalo ba kayo?" Nagtatakang tanong ni staire.

"Huy!" Si sel. Umiling ako.

Nakasimangot silang nakatingin samin.

"Okay lang 'yan" si eliza.

"Chada!!" pinakita sa'kanila ang certificate.

"Wow!"

"Congratulations!"

"Congrats!"

"Sabi na eh kayo mananalo, congratulations!"

"Yey! Congratulations!"

"Congratulations lovebirds!!"

"Thanks guys" I uttered.

"Salamat sa supporta nyo guys!!" Sigaw ni tae. We all laughed.

Kasalukuyan kaming nagfofood trip rito sa council room. Nagcecelebrate kami, nagsuggest kasi ang mga co-council na mag celebrate kami since kami ang winner.

"To gaile and tae!" Sel chanted and we all cheers.

"Congratulations ulit!" Sambit ni yukina.

"Ang ganda kasi ng poem nyo eh" si shylie.

"Agree! A distance pa naman" si chayan.

"Halatang long distance relationship ang dating ng poem" si shynhie

"Kahit naman samin tagos yung poem eh" si tania.

"Maganda rin ang flow ng rhyme" si angela at lumagok ng apple juice.

"Paano nyo ba naisip 'yun?" Tanong ni yurie.

I looked at tae. "Well.......I think kasi if the two lovers is in a ldr relationship it has a good impact in the social media, specially sa mga audience, nito and since we're aiming votes from socmed. Kaya ganong poem ginawa namin." I uttered.

Tumango-tango naman sila.

"Pero grabe ang ganda ng poem" si tania.

"Hindi naman nakapagtataka kung bat kayo nanalo, you two are both writer and good in the world of literature" si sel. I just smiled at her.

"So kailan pala magiging kayo?" Biglang tanong ni staire dahilan para maibuga ko sa harap ni brix ang ininom kung apple juice.

"Okay lang ms gaile, nabigla kalang eh alam ko" mapait na sinabi ni brix at bahagya pang pinunasan ang mukha gamit ang palad.

"Gulat yarn?"

"Grabe brix pwede na palang tapunan ang mukha mo" si zebbaric.

"Oo nga, pabuga nga rin ng tubig itong beer oh" binatukan naman sya ni brix.

"Tangina mo!" At nagtawanan ang mga co-council.

"Shock that much gaile?" Si staire.

"Ano ba kasi tanong 'yan?" I uttered. I can feel tae is staring at me.

"Maging kayo na kaya" biglang sagot ni yurie.

"Desisyon kayo?" I sarcastically said and rolled my eyes.

"Tae sino ng ulit si sam?" Biglang tanong ni chayan. Bigla naman umiba ang pakiramdam ko nang marinig ko ang pangalan nang babaeng 'yun.

"She just a friend"sagot ni tae.

"Friend who will barge in the council room to find her bff?" I coldly said. Natahimik ang council sa tono nang boses ko.

"Kaibigan kolang sya" tae said.

"Oo nga, ano ba sinabi ko?" I uttered. Palipatlipat nang tingin samin ang council.

"The tone of your voice sound something" he uttered and grins na mas lalo nakapagpairita sa'kin.

I frow"What?" I uttered

"Watawat," and he laugh. I rolled my eyes and eat the cupcake.

Nang matapos na'ming magfood trip bumalik kami sa mga trabaho na'min sa council room.

Pag patak nang alas syete nang gabi, nilock ko na ang council room at naglakad pababa nang building para magtungo sa dorm namin.

Pagpasok ko palang bumungad sa'kin ang tatlo sa sala  na inaaluhan si staire. Parang umiiyak ito. Lumapit ako  at umupo sa sofa.

"What happened? Why staire is crying?" I asked yukina.

"It's ryuji"

I frow " what did the jerk do?" Malamig ko sambit.

"He broke with her" sel said habang hinahagod ang likod ni staire. She's really crying harder.

"The heck! Bakit daw?"

Inangat ni staire ang ulo nya at humarap samin. "He said I'm not worthy, I'm not the girl he wanted to" and she burst out crying.

Biglang uminit ang dugo ko. That jerk! How can he even said that? Walang ba sya isip para hindi maisip ang mararamdaman nong tao.

"A jerk!" Ungot ko.

"A playboy!" Dugtong ni sel.

"Tahan na, wag muna sya iyakan hindi sya kawalan" yukina said.

"Yeah, pwede na tayo magpogi huntings niyan kasi single kana" segunda ni sel binatukan naman sya ni yukina.

"Gaga! Pogi huntings agad? Di ba pwede healing stage muna?" Sambit ni yukina.

"Pareho na 'rin 'yun" sel.

"Stop you two" suway ko sa dalawa.

"Staire tama na 'yan, he don't deserve you" I uttered trying to make her feel good.

"All this months pala, he don't love me he just using me  to make his ex jealous" she uttered, habang sumisinghot-singhot

"Kawawa ka naman ginawa kang rebound" si sel. Sinamaan ko naman sya nang tingin.

"Alam mo nakakatulong ka eh" sarkastikong sambit ko. Nagpeace sign lang si sel.

"Tahan na...." Si yukina.

Nang matapos ang drama sa leaving room, kumain na kami nang hapunan.

"Bukas na 'yung festival week diba?" Basag sa katahimikan ni sel.

"Yeah" I nodded.

"Ilang araw ulit?" Yukina asked.

"Three days." I uttered.

"Okay na ba lahat?" Sel asked.

"Yes, I already checked the booth at nagchat na 'rin ako kay coha if tapos na ba ang mga food. Good thing she said prepared na 'raw." I uttered.

"Good"
