Summer's P.O.V

Atlanta, Ga| 1:30 PM

"I can't believe yall got me going out knowing damn well I need to finish packing" I yelled out into the living room at Nikole and Taina. The entire family was going to Cabo in two days and here they were dragging me outside to some Pool Party hosted by a variety of celebrities. Most of them I knew from work.

Walking into the living room I held up my cover up so they could see. "Cover up or no cover up?"

"No Cover up of course. The body is definitely giving" Nikole and Taina hyped me up. It's not like I was insecure or anything but I was still getting used to my post baby body. Although I workout I still wasn't exactly where I wanted to be.

I shook my head "Yall only saying all of this because yall want me to go" I laughed. The front door opened and Demetrius came in by himself which left me a little confused because I'm one hundred percent sure he said he would be with Dylan all day.

"Where yall about to go?" He came over to me pecking my lips and then looked me up and down with a disapproving look.

"Well these two are dragging me outside for a little bit" I walked back into room with him following behind me.

"You changing right?" He asked while pulling on the string of my swimsuit.

"No" I laughed "But don't worry I'm wearing this" I held up the cover up and slid on my Chanel slides before moving the clothes I tried on earlier back into the closet.

"Where you get this from?" Demetrius asked from the room

"Get What?" I walked back in and my damn stomach dropped as I seen him sitting on the edge of the bed as he held up one of the hoodies I took from Duke with the letters 'DB' on it. I quickly had to make up something so I squinted and walked closer "Let me see.. Ohh I took this from Myah while we were in Los Angeles I don't even know where she got it from" I said shrugging and throwing it in the dirty clothes hamper. Changing the subject I sat on his lap wrapping my arms around his neck. "What are you about to do?"

"I don't know yet, probably go to this album release party with Herb and the crew" He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Uhh excuse me I hate to break up this little moment but the streets are waiting for us so.." Nikole looked down at her watch. "Let's goooo"

"The streets?" Meech looked at me.

"Don't mind her. I love you and be safe wherever you go" I smiled.

"I love you too. Make sure you wear that cover up too" He smirked.

4:00PM

This party was fuller than I expected it to be. We walked through the path that the security made for us to get to our section while occasionally stopping to take a few pictures with some people. Once we made it to the section It was a way bigger section than I thought it would be. That was until I seen Herb, Meech,Myles and a few of the other guys.

I tilted my head to the side as Meech approached me. "I thought yall were going to an album release party?"

He nodded "We did, the album was weak as hell and now we here." He tapped my leg so I could get up and he sat down, pulling me onto his lap.

"Yall think yall are slick trying to crash our girls day. I was just about to start shaking my ass" Nikole rolled her eyes.

"You can still do that" Myles got behind her.

Looking around the party the sections consisted of many influencers, rappers, dancers, etc. The amount of fans crowded around each section was crazy. I put my shades on and tuned everyone out as our bottle girls came out bringing out bottles of 1942.

About twenty minutes later I was able to relax a little and enjoy the music.

"I'm surprised you're not dancing" Nikole tapped my leg.

I held up my drink looking over at her "Once it really kicks in I'll be fine..." I stopped talking once I seen Duke, Kai, Fanum and some girls come through the crowd with their security leading them to their section. Which was ironically right next to ours. I swallowed the lump in my throat and downed my drink.

"Wassup man" Kai and Herb dapped each other up before he said Hey to everyone in the section. I forgot they knew eachother. Noted. Fanum and Duke did the same. I could feel my heart beating as Duke and Meech dapped each other up and then he looked at me smiling showing his diamond grills. "Nice to meet yall" His little accent kicked in.

After Meech rolled up he got up to smoked. I took this time to sit back and check my phone. I lowered my brightness as I seen a text from Duke.

Duke

You look too good to be over there frowning 😍 Wyd after this?

Me:

I'm just chilling lmao but I'm probably going home after this I need to pack

Duke:

Pack for what? You leaving me again

Me:

I'm going on vacation. Also stop looking over here at me before little

miss "Got a white boy on my roster" catch  you. 🤣🤣

I locked my phone and slickly looked over to their section where Duke was laughing at his phone before putting it back in his pocket and grabbed Kali's hand while she danced on him. I turned my attention back to the front of me and was met with  Nikole eyes as she looked back and forth between me and Duke and then frowned. I swear it was nothing I could get past this girl. I purposely didn't tell Nikole nor Taina about Duke simply because I didn't want to. I knew Duke had a girl and he knew my situation with Demetrius. Realistically I knew we wouldn't be together so we were just having fun, which was completely harmless.

The rest of the time we were here I stayed to myself just drinking and  observant and interacting with a few of my supporters. Once everyone was ready to go I officially felt the drinks kick in when I stood up as we left the section.

On the way out I tapped Nikole and let her know I'm going to the bathroom. "Okay I'm coming too" She got up and we left the section with Big E following us of course. The Vip bathroom was way bigger than the regular one and air conditioned which was perfect because I was hot as hell out there. Looking into the mirror I checked to make sure my makeup was still good.

"So ummm what was that about?" Nikole washed her hands while looking at me through the mirror.

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"You and dude looking at each other" She used the paper towel that was given to her by the bathroom attendant and then reached in her purse to tip her.

"What dude?" I closed my makeup mirror and looked back up at her.

"You know damn well who I'm talking about.." She stopped as the door opened and then smile since it was Taina coming in"

"Why yall leave me" she whined obviously drunk before coming over to me.

"I couldn't hold it" I laughed.

"Okay wait Taina I'm trying to see something.. So Summer back to my question" She looked at me.

"Ohh Um Duke, He's literally a client. I've styled him and the whole AMP before" I lied while laughing on the inside.

"A client or a client client" she said while form air quotes "Like he's tricking off on you?"

I ignored her question "You ready?" I asked Taina and she nodded while grabbing on to my arm.

"Mhmm I know what that means I ain't even mad at you. These niggas cheat so why not do the same" She smiled.

"Now she does have a point" Taina added in.

"You're definitely right" I laughed "Yall are bad Influencers"

"Nah you took the crown you watched them dap eachother up and then texting your side piece while in the same space as your Fiancé" Nikole laughed

Taina eyes widened "Ohhh Summer you are bold as hell. Look at my girl finally growing up and doing bad things" she hugged me and wiped a fake tear.

"Yall are something else but please don't say anything or make it weird!" We left out of the bathroom.

Two Days Later

"Who booked this early ass flight?" Harold complained as he boarded the jet. Late at that!

"I planned it early so we can have hella time when we get there. But all I hear is criticize, criticize, criticize forget yall" I waved him off and went to go sit across from Demetrius who was holding Dylan. I noticed how he was looking at me in a weird way.

"You know it's rude to stare right?"

"My bad you just look different" He wore his usual blank expression.

"Is it my hair?" I opened my front camera and looked at my freshly dyed hair.

"Nah you just been looking real different lately.. but I do have a real ass question for you though"

It felt like it was one thousand degrees in here as my palms started to get sweaty. I didn't want to show that I was nervous but it was hard not to.

"Okay What is it?"
