SUMMER'S POV~

I sat in the car waiting on Nikole to come out of the house but as usual she took forever to get ready. Opening some of my work emails I starred the important ones and skimmed over the non important. I've been so busy the past two months between being a mom, working my ass off, finding some free time that Demetrius and I can enjoy, plus trying to keep myself sane. Speaking of Demetrius he moved back in and we've been better than ever. He wasn't really feeling the thought of me work with Markeyvius at first which indeed started an argument between us but in the end I reassured him it was for business and business only.

"I don't know why I agreed to getting up this early" Nikole complained as she got in the car. Lately I've been very committed to the gym and have dragged Nikole and Taina with me whenever I got the chance to.

"You will get used to it, trust me" I put my phone down and drove off heading to an early morning Pilates class. I was usually up this early with Dylan every morning but once he started to get on track with a sleep and eating schedule I had to find myself something I could put my energy towards this early in the day besides work.

"How is baby meech doing?" Nikole swore that Dylan looked like Meech. I thought he looked like me but everyone else thought otherwise.

"First of all stop calling him baby meech" I laughed

"What. Why? There's already Big Meech, Lil Meech and now Baby Meech"

"Anyways he is fine, Spoiled as hell thanks to yall" Which was true when we finally brought him out to meet the family they were literally fighting to hold him. Especially Nikole and Taina.

I pulled up to the private gym which was my favorite and it was Black owned. Spotting Taina's car I parked next to her and she got out smiling at us. "Finally I thought yall weren't going to come"

I shook my head and pointed at Nikole "That was all her. You know she moves slow in the morning" I grabbed my Water bottle and key before getting out of the car.

"Yall know I'm not a morning person. Don't act brand new" Nikole whined.

Our class lasted about an hour which was perfect since I didn't want to overwhelm my body this morning since I had some major projects to do this week. After parting with Taina and dropping Nikole off I was finally heading back home. Once I got in I went straight to the bathroom and started my shower, setting the temperature to the hottest level possible.

After finishing my shower and hygiene routine I went into the walk in closet to pick out an outfit for today. I settled on a Chanel knitted off the shoulder sweater, with a black skirt and my black and white Rick Owens to pair. I sat the outfit out on the bed and sat next to my clothes while opening my laptop to respond to a confusing email I received about a client meeting today. Opening up my schedule I silently cursed to myself noticing that I had the days mixed up.

"How did I miss that?" I said lowly to myself.

"Miss what?" Meech's voice made me look up quickly not even noticing he walked into the room and was fully dressed holding Dylan who I assume was hungry.

"I have a new client stopping by today" I closed my laptop and put it to the side so I could grab Dylan from him. Everytime he seen me it's like his eyes would light up with excitement. "Awww look at my handsome boy" I admired his outfit since I picked it out this morning because if it were up to Meech he would put a onesie on him and call it a day.

Meech leaned down to kiss me "I have an interview today i'll probably get back home late. Do you need anything before I go?"

I shook my head. I really enjoyed the days where neither one of us had to work because I felt balanced. Lately I've been doing so much I haven't been able to express to anyone how crazy my life has been "No I should be fine, I'm about to get Kayla ready and should be heading out soon".

Atleast that's what I thought once Meech left and I went to wake Kayla up she threw a tantrum the entire time I got her ready. We were now running late as I attempted to curl my hair settling with loose curls since I didn't have time to do any other style. After getting myself together and Kayla to preschool I was finally arriving at my studio.

"Ouuu you brought the baby with you" Myah got up running to grab Dylan's carseat. I usually wouldn't bring him but due to this morning I didn't have time to run to Marietta and drop him off to Ma. I also didn't want to get a nanny right now I felt it wouldn't be necessary.

Hearing the doorbell made me look down at my apple watch my client was early. Sighing I asked Myah if she could just chill in my office with Dylan while I wing this meeting.

Fixing my tired facial expression, I put on a huge smile and opened the door "Heyy you guys come in"

MEECH~

"Awww look at that smile"  Amirah laughed at my reaction to finding out about Summer's new client. I was genuinely happy for her and all of her success.

"That boy sprung" Harold shook his head laughing

"Man whatever" I waved him off examining the crowd. I decided to pull up to this Day Party with them and Herb for a while since my interview was over. We been here for about three hours now and I was about to leave soon.

Looking down as I started to roll a wood hearing a familiar voice.

"Hey Demetrius, what are you doing here" Tia said

Amirah kissed her teeth.

"Shit I'm just chilling about to go soon" I looked up at her briefly before looking back down as I finished rolling up. 

"Okayy.. I just wanted to come say Hi. Im in the city for the week"

"Well shouldn't you be enjoying the city instead of in his face" Amirah spoke up. Amirah didn't like Tia at all.

"Amirah please don't start with me I wasn't even talking to you" Tia spat with an attitude.

"Okay well im talking to you so what?" Amirah stood up. Causing Harold to grab her arm. They think I didn't know that they was fucking around. I peeped that a few weeks ago I just didn't say nothing because they're both grown.

"Tia gone head man" I shook my head I was having a good time and the last thing I needed was her bringing drama.

"Oh wow, Demetrius you know you've been acting real different since your bitch had that baby" she mumbled.

Once she said that everybody in the section's energy shifted. I stood up "What you just say?"

Amirah was now literally pulling her arm away from Harold "Ouuu please let me beat her ass" she begged. As Big E was now blocking the space between Amirah and Tia

"Watch yo mouth when it comes to my wife. Because you know if she was here you would be quiet as fuck" I squinted at her.

She rolled her eyes and started walking back over to her friends that were waiting on her "Whatever Demetrius"

"Fucking groupie" Amirah yelled out. "Why you didn't you let me get her" Amirah was always on go whenever somebody tried her.

"Because all of these people in here. It would've been on the internet before the fight was even done. I'm not worried about her" Which was true. It's so much I had to learn to let go or handle it in private because everything didn't need a public reaction. Especially these women

"Yeah you know I don't care about these people. I don't let anybody play with me especially when it comes to my Family"

"Fasho! Im about to head out though" I said dapping up Herb and Harold.

Once I got home I could hear the kids crying from the bedroom. Making my way into the room I could see Summer sitting up against the headboard rocking Dylan while he continued to cry and Kayla had her head on her lap having a meltdown. The look on Summer's face was blank and I could tell she had just finished crying.

"What's wrong? What happened?" I went over to her side of the bed getting the kids and calming them down.

She shrugged "I don't even know my mood just changed all of a sudden, and then It's like they both are crying at the same time, Im trying my best to calm them down, I haven't eaten today, and I still have a project to finish today. Usually im like Superwoman im able to handle it all but today I don't know it's just..." She put her head in her hands.

I pulled her into a side hug since I was holding Dylan. She rested her head on my should for a while before quickly wiping her face. "Okay Im fine now, I can get him"

I shook my head "Naw I got them you just chill out, get some sleep, go out get some fresh air whatever you wanna do"

She looked like she wanted to debate on it but instead she nodded. "I'll be right back, are you sure you got them?"

"Gone ahead Summer" I laughed giving her my card. "And you better not pay for nothing with your own money"
