MEECH~

I sat next to Summer's bed while the doctor explained to her how important is it that she wasn't over working herself. They were going to release her now since she was now feeling fine and the test they ran on her were all good. "We still want to make sure everything is normal and you aren't experiencing a high risk pregnancy so let's check in soon. I will have this information sent in to your primary Obstetrician"

Once we got in the car I called my manager and told him to cancel a interview I was supposed to do this weekend so I could stay here with Summer. We got in my truck and headed home since Nikole drove Summer's car back to the house earlier.

"The next few months you should take a break from working. We aren't filming till next summer and im sure the seasame street show.. I mean Power ain't filming yet either"

She laughed "You're shady as hell for that but you're right...I have a question" she turned in her seat so she was now facing me.

"I might have a answer" I looked over at her as I stopped at a red light.

I can tell she was nervous she couldn't hold her eye contact "Do you think we moved too fast. Like the whole engagement, baby on the way, moving in?"

I shrugged "I mean a real man knows which woman he wants to marry and it doesn't take too long to know that. I knew I wanted to marry you within the first few months of us dating. As far as moving in I mean we damn near spent every day together so it made sense to just buy one house" I focused back on the road once the light turned green.

"And the baby?" she asked.

"I mean us having a son."

"A girl" she interrupted.

"I mean it wasn't planned but shit it was bound to happen. Especially that night we made that tape" I shook my head and smiled "I aint know you could get that wild"

she sat back in her seat laughing "Oh my god please don't bring that up! Anyways, how was your weekend? Are you tired of the club scene yet?"

I nodded "Hell Yea but this shit is easy money though" I wasn't going to tell her about Tia at first but I didn't want anymore pictures being put on the internet without an explanation. "I seen one of my old friends, Tia, we grew up together. Ain't really do nothing hung out, chilled with Amirah, Type shit.."

"Tia?" she put her index finger on her chin. "I don't think you've ever mentioned her before but that's cool. I'm glad yall reconnected or whatever" she side eyed me.

"She cool that's a friend" I laughed it off before she could take the conversation even further.

"Mhm that's all it better be. Anyways can we please stop and get some wings I'm starving and I refuse to eat that hospital food"

I stopped and grabbed her some lemon pepper wings, fried hard, If I didn't get it right she was going to send me back. I grabbed a regular order of wings for me and we headed to the house. Since Kayla was gone with Summer's mom that night we didn't do shit but chill, watch a few movies, she went to sleep first and I was right after her considering I didn't sleep last night I went straight to the hospital and stayed there until they released her.

The Next Morning I woke up late. Summer was already in the shower singing loud as hell. We agreed to start doing this 'Family day' where everybody would put aside work and come together for atleast one day out of the month. I flipped the covers back and sat up checking my phone. I had a few messages from my manager telling me of some possible upcoming events that I would probably decline because it was all about my girl and her health right now. So any event that wasn't already booked would have to wait. I seen a few messages from Tia asking if everything was okay. I responded to her message and assured her I was good I just had some family shit going on. Now that I think about it I never got to mention that I was getting married to Tia. I'll bring it up sometime next month when I'm back in Miami.

After I showered and did my  morning routine. I was ready. I don't understand why women take so long to get ready. I smoked while waiting on her.

"Okay Im ready" she smiled coming out of the room.

"Damn finally" I opened the front door so she could leave out first and then opened the car door for her.

"Thanks Mr.Flenory"

On the way there she wanted to listen to 'Dangerously in Love' by Ynw Melly. That made me occasionally look at her because she was really feeling the lyrics.

"You thinking about killing me Summer? You been listening to his songs alot lately" I looked at her

She started laughing. "What Demetrius? No I just really loved Ynw Melly's songs. This isn't even a crazy song it's actually a love song" She smiled and continued singing along.

Nikole and Myles hosted the get together today which was cool.

"Yall better not be out there gambling" Ma came out to the back of the house squinting her eyes at me and the guys.

Harold put his hands up in defense "I don't even gamble forreal Ma, that's them"

"Don't lie to my mama." Nikole rolled her eyes at him.

Once she went back in the house we all turned back around and got straight to it "Aye run that shit back" Harold said.

"This nigga wanna continue to lose his bread" Herb laughed.

"I swear man just let it go" I shook my head

"Yeah iight watch this"

"Ima be right back let me go check on Summer" I got up

"He is not coming back" Myles sat up putting his money up before shooting the dice.

"Tender ass nigga, he in love and shit" Harold said.

"Man fuck yall" I laughed and went into the house to go find my girl.

SUMMER~

"Shut Up, no he did not!" I covered my mouth dramatically while listening to Taina tell me about how Herb surprised her. We were in Nikoles makeup room gossiping, thank god she had a comfortable couch in here. It was honestly cute to see her blushing again. I don't care if my best friend was with Herb or Jayson, I just wanted her happy that's all that matters.

"Yes girl, I haven't fully forgiven him yet but I'm just glad he agreed to counseling, working on trust and things of that nature" She smiled as she rested her head against my stomach. "You hear that Godmommy T is coming back home"

"Well good because I'm tired of hearing about how much she misses you" Myah came into the room. "And who is Jayson?" she sat on the floor.

"First of all who is watching the kids if you're in here?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her.

"Ma is watching them. We need to talk yall" she did a little dance and smirked. "So since I'm the Maid of Honor I'm early but I'm planning the Bachelorette party. We having male strippers with dreads. You know them dreadheads do it the best" she stuck her tongue out.

"Girl what are you talking about. Who said you were my Maid of Honor?" I laughed at her because I was definitely going to ask Taina.

"I felt like I  would be the best person so I appointed myself" She playfully looked Taina up and down.

"Girl don't even start with me" Taina waved her off.

They went back and forth fake arguing while I picked up my phone checking my notifications on Instagram. It was interesting that Dj liked my latest post because I haven't spoke to Dj in a while . He would usually always calls or text even if it was just to check on me. I haven't heard from him since the news of Destiny going to jail broke. I know he seen the messages of me asking if he was okay. I wasn't going to sweat it though.

Myah and Taina stopped arguing when Meech came into the room.

"Why it get quiet? Yall was talking about me or sum?" he took a seat next to me.

"Nah we wasn't, I was actually planning and finalizing some things for yall wedding. Since you know I'm the wedding planner now" Myah got up smiling as she left out the room with Taina right behind her.

Meech looked over at me confused and I just shook my head "Just let her be delusional she's been like that forever. What's wrong why aren't you outside with everybody?"

He pulled me closer so I was now resting my head on her shoulder. "They ain't doing shit but losing their money to me. Even Kayla could win their money I let her roll the dice for me once"

I hit his arm "Don't teach her that. She already around here running  calling people twin and saying that she from the Zone 6. She wanna be a rapper so bad" I laughed and closed my eyes while taking in the scent of his cologne "I'm so tired"

"You wanna go home?" He asked.

I shook my head "Uhn Uhn I'm waiting on the food first"

He laughed "Yo greedy ass"

Once Ma was done cooking we all came together and ate while conversing about new things in our life and updates with work, things we haven't been able to talk about due to everyone's schedule. I loved the idea of getting together like this often and being able to clear our minds.

2 Months Later

It was late as I'm laying in bed with Kayla using me as her pillow and watching tv. I took a break from working on major projects for the remainder of my pregnancy. I scrolled down my timeline looking at some post and occasionally responding to my comments. I finally announced my pregnancy this month as I was approaching my seventh month and felt I was ready to let everyone know. Plenty of people flocked to my page once we announced it, including this Tia friend. I don't really trust her but whatever.

We are having a gender reveal later this week and I couldn't wait to find out. I let Ma set it up because Nikole nor Taina would be able to keep the secret.

I smiled hearing the alarm to the front door chirp. A few seconds later Demetrius appeared in the room coming to my side of the bed and sitting there not saying anything. I sat up confused. "Baby.. what's wrong?"

He shook his head "They shot Trey.."

I gasped in the most shocking reaction. Demetrius and Trey were long time friends. Trey was actively still in the streets though but I swear he had the biggest heart ever. He was always into some shit though.

One thing about Demetrius though he never really showed too many emotions. I can tell when he was bothered or mad but I've never seen him sad.

I quickly hugged him I couldn't even cry myself because I was so worried about making sure Meech was okay and I could comfort him. "Oh my god.. Baby Im sooo sorry I don't even know what to say"

"Its so fucked up Summer" He got up running his hands over his face. I could tell he was getting angry. I know because Kayla was in here sleep he really was trying to keep his calm.

"Come on" I grabbed his hand and closed the bedroom door so we could talk in the living room. I sat on the couch as he paced the room "Where was he?"

"In Miami shit I don't even know. I can't even think straight"

Seeing him like this really hurts my heart. I hated to see anyone go through something like this. I really hated this for Trey and his family as well. I wiped my tears and tried my best to calm him down. He was about to leave the house but I had to literally stand in front of the door blocking it.

"Nooo Demetrius you need to calm down first. You have to realize Demetrius the shit people do out of anger can literally ruin their lives. Can you atleast calm down talk to your people find out what happened. Atleast talk to me, it's okay to express yourself Demetrius that's exactly what I'm here for"
