SUMMER~

"Are you excited?" I asked Kayla as we waited in the parking lot. I just came from a doctor's appointment and since Demetrius was out of town this weekend I decided to bring Kayla with me. She was very happy when I told her she was going to be a big sister which really surprised me.

"Do you think you are going to get a little brother or sister?" I asked looking over at her as she sipped from MY smoothie.

"Ummm both" she said with a smile.

"Oh wow!" I laughed because chileee I would literally cry if I was having twins. I had a feeling I was probably having another girl but Demetrius thought otherwise, we will see really soon since I was approaching five months.

"Hi babies" Kayla climbed into my lap and started hugging and kissing on my stomach.

I answered the incoming facetime call from Demetrius. He's been calling all morning to check on me since this was the first appointment without him "Hello Sir, I promise we are fine"

"Damn I'm bugging you or something?"

"No I just don't want you to worry about us we are good" I smiled into the camera

"Where's Kayla?"

I flipped the camera so he could see her.

"She's right here. She's slowly but surely embracing becoming a big sister it's so cute"

"Hi Meechie, where's fluffy?" she looked up at the camera. Fluffy is the puppy that Demetrius bought her for Christmas last month.

"He's in a training school right now he will be back next week. I promise"

"Okay?" she put her head back down on my stomach and I flipped to camera back on me.

"Where yall about to go now?"

"Just about to go grab some lunch and then go shopping with Nikole"

"You got my card right?" he was now laying down.

"You don't think we having motion? You don't think we getting money?" I laughed "Nah but seriously. I don't need your card Demetrius" I sat up seeing Nikole pull into the lot.

He kissed his teeth "You so stubborn just use the card Summer"

"Fine I'll use it. But Nikole is finally here so I will call you when we are done. I Love You and be nice to your fans ol' mean ass"

"I got you. I love you too Ma"

Nikole and I shopped for hours before finally going to get something to eat and heading back to my house. Tonight she was going out with Myles and this would be their first official alone time since they've had Sincere.

"I think you should wear your hair down, maybe like a loose curl. Definitely wear the heels tonight no excuses" I poked my head out of the kitchen.

"I don't even know where we are going Summer"

"Just wear the damn heels girl ohh and put those earrings on I got you for Christmas"

"Okay Okay, I know how to dress up" She chuckled.

I came out of the kitchen and joined her in the living room with the kids.

"On a serious note though"

"What's up" I sat on the couch and stretched my legs out

"What's your actual overall opinion on marriage? Like do you think it's necessary?"

"Um. I think it just depends on the couple. To some people they might feel the need to be married in order to really solidify their relationship and others might not ever want to get married just because they simply don't want to" I shrugged.

"I'm asking because I just felt so weird when I was pregnant. I was literally having a child before being married and I don't know it just felt like my journey was starting backwards."

"But Nikole no one has a perfect journey. You literally was the person that told me that" I laughed

"I know I've just been secretly battling like this hovering feeling that comes and goes. I feel like it's apart of my trauma Whereas I want to make sure I do everything right in life. I don't know I might be over thinking it." She looked down at Sincere who was smiling.

"You should start meditating with me" I laughed at her facial expression but honestly meditation has been my peace factor lately "How do you think I stay so calm"

"You are everything but calm Summer" she smirked

"Okay before the pregnancy I was very calm..sometimes but anyways it'll be great you can work on not overthinking situations, finding some peace, getting a breather and also some alone time doesn't hurt. Trust me it's the only alone time I can get away from Meech and Kay"

"You're right I'll try it out not all early though you know I love to sleep in" She sighed.

"Good. But It's time for you to go get ready so give me my nephew and go have fun" I extended my arms out so she could hand me Sincere.

Once she left I stayed in the living room with the kids letting Kayla tire herself out while letting the tv play in the background. I sent a picture of sincere to Nikole since she was so worried although it's only been thirty-minutes since she left.

"Later tonight we will cover the story of a local Atlanta woman has been arrested on fraud charges. Stealing nearly six hundred thousand dollars from her father's company"

I glanced up at the tv and a grin flashed across my face as a picture of Destiny's mugshot was on the tv.

I didn't even have to do anything Dj was the one that put the whole thing together. I met with him and David that same week Dj came into my office. David was oblivious to the fact that she was stealing from him. Once he was able to really grasp that she was running his company into the ground, firing people, withdrawing alarming limits and disregarding the clients he was livid.

Now personally I think Maria was apart of it but I didn't say anything. I actually took a step back from the whole situation although. I was aware Dj was going to involve his lawyer though.

After feeding the kids, bathing them and then putting them to sleep I was exhausted. Damn I had to need to get used to this. I made my way to my room and slowly sat down on my bed. I had a few pains in my stomach earlier but I kind of ignored them because they weren't bad but now I was really becoming uncomfortable with them and the pain level was rising.

MEECH~

I scanned the section it was packed as hell and I was ready to go. I tapped my security Big E to let him know we could head out. As I was exiting the section I felt someone lightly grab on my arm. I don't like for people to touch me but once I looked back I seen a familiar face.

"Hey Demetrius" Tia smiled.

Now a little background on Tia. Demetrius and Tia were friends since they were little. They dated for a while but decided to just be friends since she was heading to college and shortly after Demetrius was starting his acting classes before being casted to portray his father in the show. They lost contact as both of their lives became busy. Meech wasn't open to dating anyone else just fucking with a few women that came into his life until he met Summer and all of that changed.

"Wassup girl" I gave her a hug.

"How have you been it's so nice seeing you" she pulled back from the hug.

"I'm good shit great actually. How about you? You still in school?" I'm glad I had on dark shades so she couldn't see me examining her body. She's changed in a good way.

"Yes I'm still in school. We should catch up soon" she pulled out her phone and I gave her my number. "I'm texting you now so you can have my number"

The next day I spent most of my day with Tia. I had my homies and Amirah around since they all came with me for the weekend. Amirah and Tia knew eachother so she fit right in with us. I would occasionally catch Amirah side eyeing me whenever I was talking to Tia and I know exactly why she was doing it.

By the time I made it back to Atlanta there were already pictures up on the internet of people speculating that I was dating Tia. This social media shit is crazy and I wasn't even going to respond.

Before I go home I needed to go do something first. I had Big E  and Harold go into this meeting with me.

"Wassup yall" Dj finally came in with David not too far behind him as he limped in on a cane.

I kept a straight face as Big E searched them.

"Damn airport security TSA ass nigga" Dj said to Big E. Once they were clear David sat across from me. "Why am I here? we already handled our business"

"Nah we actually didn't get to finish our business see the last time we met that should've been your last day breathing but I spared you. Now I did receive that money though so I'm over that specific situation. But I'm telling you to stay away from Summer, yall don't have shit to talk about or reminisce on" I was quiet for a long time but I knew what type of person David was and the shit he would pull out here in the streets, getting his other kids involved was one thing but when it came down to Summer I would seriously kill him about her. I don't give a fuck if he was her father.

Dj looked at David and then back at me. Dj was clueless as fuck but any association with David or Destiny was a done deal "You really think she ain't gone notice if I just stop talking to her, that's a grown ass woman.." he stood up and I stood up too while Harold sized him up.

"I don't give a fuck! yall family reunion is over, you heard what I said. Fuck outta here I'm done talking" I nodded towards the door. David mugged me the entire time he was here but didn't say shit until now.

He walked to the door and turned around to face me "You'll get your karma soon"

"Right after you old man, what type of father sets up his daughter to get robbed?" Back then I knew Destiny was apart of it but when I really started to look into the shit I put it together that David was the only person who knew her address and when she was home. Especially since Summer and destiny never talked since that dinner they went to. This was a weird ass family.

After they left I dapped up Harold and left out with Big E. I smoked on the way to the house because I knew Summer was about to be pissed. She called me multiple times but I really needed to take care of that business. I had a missed call from Tia so I called her back before I went in the house.

"Yo you good?" I squinted at the driveway and seen that Summer's car was gone it's 10:00pm where she at.

"Hey I'm good I was just calling to let you know I made it" Tia continued to talk but I lost focus thinking about where Summer was. "Let me hit you right back Tia I need to do something real quick"

After I hung up with her I called Summer twice and her phone went straight to voicemail. Damn did I do something?

I called the second person who knew everything about Summer.

"Hello" Nikole spoke into the phone in a low voice.

"Yo Nikole you know where Summer at?"

"Hold On" she moved around on her end "Meech where have you been we've been trying to call you all day Summer is in the hospital"
