"Do you guys have a date yet for the wedding?"

I shook my head "Not a specific date but we are thinking sometime in the Winter of next year. Which gives us a year to plan" I looked over at Meech who hasn't really said anything since we got here instead he was deeply into his phone. Let's not act crazy Summer, you just got a ring.

After we finished eating we decided to head back to the house for a while so Kayla could get a nap in. While waiting for our car to come around from Valet Tarra took Kayla over to get a better look at the garden in front of the restaurant.

I turned over to Demetrius. "Who texting you?"

He looked up at me confused "I'm just working"

"Hmm" I replied and turned away.

"What you don't believe me or something?"

"I never said that Demetrius" I said with a light attitude.

"So why you acting like that?" He locked his phone and put it in his pocket

I didn't even respond as I seen our truck approaching and Meech was handed the keys.

Tarra brought Kayla back over "I got it" she opened the backseat door and buckled her in. She loved her some Kayla. I hope she's ready for another grandchild. She kissed her forehead and then closed the door after we said our goodbyes.

The ride home was pretty much silent and that was fine with me. I've been very moody and it seems like every time I was calm a storm would erupt immediately after. Which is why I've been nagging at Meech a lot. I can tell it was starting to annoy him.

When we got home I changed into something comfortable and laid on the couch with Kayla as we watched movies. She's been rather attached to me. I mean she was always a mama's girl but now she's always near my stomach it's kind of like she knows.

I picked up my phone and hit FaceTime on Nikole's contact. She picked up the phone looking tired as hell. "Hey boo what's wrong?"

"I haven't gotten any sleep. Literally damn near the past 48 hours and Myles is out of town this weekend. I didn't wanna bother you guys and I'm just going crazy" She looked as if she wanted to cry.

Welcome to Motherhood. "It's okay Nikole, you literally can call me any time I don't care if it's in the middle of the night. I will jump up to come get my nephew. How about tomorrow you and Sincere come over since Myles will still be gone and I'll watch Sincere the entire day while you sleep and have a little alone time"

"Yess I'd like that" she sighed and I could hear Sincere's little faint cries in the background.

"Awww let me see him" I cooed into the camera and smiled when she flipped the camera. "Look at my handsome nephew"

I looked at Kayla who was giving me a side eye. She did not like when I interacted with other kids. She's in for a surprise since she's getting a sibling from me and one from her dad.

After I ended our call we finished watching the movie. I didn't realize that we fell asleep until I felt Demetrius kiss my forehead and then the top of Kayla's head. I heard his footsteps going towards the door
"Wait.Where are you going?" I semi stretched.

"I'm about to go do this hosting I'll be back later"

"Are you still mad at me?"

He came back over near the couch so I could see his face. "I was never mad at you Summer"

"Okay good. When you come back we need to talk" I sat up on the couch.

"Yeah we do. I gotta head out though" He went back to the door this time leaving out.

I was left sitting there shocked because I know he didn't just leave out without saying 'I love you'.

MEECH~

I wasn't intentionally trying to be rude or anything to Summer. Her ass just been on one lately. Everything I do or say she wanna argue with me about it. The shit was irritating. I was glad she was sleep by the time I got back home because I didn't feel like arguing with her again.

The next morning I felt small hands touching my face and then heard Kayla's voice "Meechie wake up" I finally opened my eyes and she pointed to the bathroom door "What's wrong with Mommy"

I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom door twisting the knob but it was locked. I could hear Summer throwing up. "You good? You need anything?". She didn't respond. I heard the toilet flush and then the sink turned on. She finally unlocked and opened the door while brushing her teeth and Kayla joined her, I waited till they were finished and then brushed mine.

Once I went back into the room I seen that she was back in the bed while kayla went back to her room. "You ready to talk?"

She sighed sitting up against the headboard "Sure"

"Wassup with you? You been on some other shit lately and then you got this everlasting attitude but never wanna talk about it"

"I don't have an attitude and most of the time I don't like to talk about what's bothering me because I know it will cause an argument" she shrugged.

"You been starting all of them though. You always talking about I need to communicate with you better but you not even communicating with me"

"That's not true. I do communicate"

"No the fuck you don't!"

She started crying out of no where. What the fuck is going on? I thought to myself.

I went over to the bed and sat next to her pulling her into a hug. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry" She stayed in my arms for a few minutes once she was finally done crying she sat up and smiled while wiping her eyes. "No you're fine its me. I'm sorry I just needed to get that out really quick"

I didn't say anything because I was confused on which mood she was about to show me next.

She took a deep breath and then locked eyes with me. "Demetrius... I'm Pregnant"

"You Joking?" I asked her as I started smiling.

She shook her head "I'm so serious. About 11 weeks now."

Excited was a understatement. I pulled her shirt up some and left kisses over her stomach. "Why you wait so long to tell me?"

"I promise I wanted to tell you everyday baby, but I was really trying to hold out until Christmas since it's coming up this month" she ran her fingers through my hair. "I'm sorry Demetrius I do need to communicate more. I'm just struggling with.. everything being new to me. I've never been in love before and I do like when you call me out on my shit because I know I do it all the time to you"

I nodded "It's all good we got time and a lot of shit to work on. We're both not perfect. I'm not gone lie though I'm a lil nervous"

"Of what? Being a father?" She tilted her head

"Hell naw, I know I'll do fine. I'm nervous about these mood swings and shit. You gone have them throughout the whole pregnancy?" I laughed but was very serious. The random crying moment and then laughing and smiling right after,  concerned me.

She laughed "I swear I'm trying to control it. Sometimes I'm just over emotional and will literally cry. But since you're in a good mood" she smiled

"What?" I already know she was about to ask for some food.

"Do you feel like going to get me some Chick-fil-a or order it either way. I need a some nuggets and mac and cheese right now Pleaseee"

SUMMER~

I felt so relieved now that I finally told Demetrius. I had a cute little set up I was going to do for Christmas to surprise him but I just couldn't wait any longer.

I told Nikole when she came over and she screamed from excitement. She was happy that our kids would be close in age. I was glad she came over because I felt like she needed this time. She expressed how tired she was and lonely she felt since Myles was back working and on set all the time for another show he was in. I completely understand and reassured I'm here with her. Most of the time she was here I didn't even get to hold Sincere because Meech held him. I loved seeing him in that mode.

I washed my hands and went to Meech "Okay now give me my nephew before he goes" Those words set Kayla off she quickly stop playing with her toys and came over to me crying "Noooo." Nikole ended up distracting Kayla while I held Sincere.

2 Weeks Later| Summer's Office

The door bell rang and I looked outside of the office at Myah. We weren't expecting anyone today. "I got it" Myah went to go check who it was. I sat back in my office chair as I smiled into the camera at Ma. "Where's my other grandbaby?"

"She's with Taina having a girls day with her and Emmy. I would've gone but I really needed to catch up on some work" I rubbed my stomach which was now displaying a noticeable pudge.

"Umm Summer?" Myah poked her head into my office. "Can you come here really quick?" She said quickly before disappearing.

"Let me call you when I get home Ma."

"Okay, make sure you aren't overworking and stressing yourself out."

We said our goodbyes and I left out of the office going to see what Myah wanted. "Ohh Hey Dj" I said tilting my head to the side seeing him sitting down outside of the office.

"Hey Summer, I just had to stop by to catch you up on some shit" You could see the anger in his eyes.

"Umm okay you wanna step into my office?"

He nodded and followed me inside. Once he took a seat he got right to it.

"I just wanna warn you about Destiny. I thought family was everything but that shit is dead now. We all had a share in Dad's company but this evil ass bitch" He took a deep breath "I'm sorry let me calm down"

"Dj what happened?" I asked now concerned.

"We all had a share in Dad's company, even you. You just didn't know it yet, I didn't even know until I did some digging in his files. Anyway she somehow convinced him to sign over his rights to become the CEO now that he was still pretty sick and couldn't work as much after the incident and now everything is gone. I believe she forged the signature or switched his meds something isn't sitting right. But I really wanted to let you know that she was the person that plotted on your home robbery." He put his hands up "I swear to god I didn't know shit about it until recently. I went through all of her shit looking for evidence for the company and came across some wild shit that I want you to see"
