Summer~

I sat in the waiting room of the hospital with Maria, and Dj. Dj called me two days ago saying that David was missing. Once I arrived to their house I tried my hardest to comfort Maria as she cried endlessly. He was found at a hospital two days later he was registered as a 'John Doe'.

After waiting for about an hour the doctor informed us that we could go see him. We walked to the room and was shocked at the sight of David. He had bruises all over his face and arms. Maria covered her mouth in shock as she approached his bed side. "Don't cry im fine" he grunted while trying to sit up in his bed. Dj and I came over to help him.

"Who did this?" Maria asked.

"I..I dont know Maria. I can't remember anything"

She side eyed him and didn't say anything. I peeped it but didn't say anything either

"Oh my god dad are you okay?" Destiny came running into the room. Now just so yall know, Destiny hasn't shown any sign of emotion this whole time while he was missing nor did she come to the hospital with us this morning since she was 'busy'

Dj  mugged Destiny "Where you been at?"

"I was busy this morning, when you said yall were going to check I went out and did what I need to go do since yall had it under control"

I shook my head as they started to go back and forth arguing. "Yall this isn't the right time to be arguing" I interrupted.

Destiny looked at me crazy and then looked away. She knew it was better to not say anything to me.

"You right" Dj nodded "We're just glad you're alive pops"

"Yes Im blessed. It's nice to know you all are here for me" he said smiling over at me. I gave him a smiled. Deep down it felt very weird to be put into this position. I just recently found out he is my father and then I was very close to losing him.

We spent about an hour talking with David and surprisingly all getting along even Destiny. I eventually needed to go because I needed to go pick up Kayla, get changed and go see a few people.

I got out of my car as I seen Markeyvius pulling into the lot where we've been meeting lately. He parked next to me and smiled as he got Kayla out of the backseat. "Hi Mommy" she damn near yelled as she ran up to me. "Hey Princess, you had fun?" she nodded as I opened the door and put her in the car seat. I felt the sperm donor's eyes watching my body as leaned into the car. Once I was done I closed her door "Thanks for watching her" I simply said and headed to the driver's side. "Why you won't let me drop her off and pick her up at your house?" He followed me.

"Because I don't live there anymore"

"Okayyy so what is it a secret where you live at now?" He leaned against my car.

"It's not a secret I just prefer to meet here" Truth is I was still pretty upset about the break in at my house and just didn't want anyone meeting me at our new house.

"Damn I can't even know where my baby mama live, now what if its an emergency"

"Well if there is ever an emergency you might be able to get my address until then you'll be fine. Ohh speaking of baby mama's congratulations I hear you're having another baby" I said and his smiled dropped a little.

"Yeah thank you"

"No Problem, I just hope you're prepared this time" I shrugged.

"For what?" His stupidity was really at an all time high today.

"To really be a father this time"

"I'm already a father so what you trying to say?"

"You're more like a baby sitter Markeyvius but go off" I rolled my eyes and opened my door but he used his hand to close it back. Here we go.

"Nah what you mean babysitter?"

I didn't respond instead I crossed my arms and looked around because he knew exactly what I meant

"I get it. You making that nigga Meech act like he Kayla's father and shit confusing her"

I lightly rubbed my temples as I felt a headache coming along. "Are You done?" He didn't say anything instead he stared me down "Well I'll take that as a yes. But for your information I need you to understand this. I'm not making him do anything. He voluntarily stepped up and does good things for her, never misses an appointment, he's there for her whenever she cries, and overall great supporter I can go on and on. If you want me to stop calling you the baby sitter I suggest you start taking some notes from him"

He chuckled "I can't even respond how I want to because you gone take Kayla away from me." He wasn't going to do anything but try to call me out my name.

I nodded "Yeah let's keep the disrespectful words to ourselves and we will be fine" I opened the door again and hopped in.

Once I got in the house I quickly made Kayla something for lunch and then went into the bathroom so I could take a quick shower. I was only in the shower for about one minute before Kayla came into the bathroom. It never fails its either her or Demetrius bargaining in on my alone time  "Mommy are you ready yet?" I poked my head out of the shower "Not yet I'm almost ready" she nodded and left back out of the bathroom leaving the door open.

Once I finished up in the shower. It was like perfect timing because now Demetrius came into the bathroom. "Where you going?" Kayla followed right behind him.

"Dang yall can I get some privacy for like five minutes please?" I wrapped the towel around my body.

"No you can't" he said as he smiled.

"Nope" Kayla joined in.

"Yall are obsessed with me" I walked out the bathroom and headed into the closet so I could get dressed. "Im going to meet with the girls and kids really quick I'll be back to cook dinner. If you'll even be here" I mumbled the last part.

"I heard that, Yeah I'll be here don't worry Ima go visit my mom while you gone since she is here for the weekend" He said as he looked down at his phone. Once he looked up he asked "How  did it go at the hospital?"

I examined my outfit in the mirror and then looked over at him. "It was alright he is messed up pretty bad, it was a lot honestly"

"Did he remember anybody who did it or what happened?"

The questions were getting real suspicious. I honestly wouldn't put anything past Demetrius he's fine as hell but I definitely knew he was dangerous outside of this 'Actor' role he plays.

"Umm he said he doesn't remember anything"

He nodded and then walked out of the closet not saying anything.

MEECH P.O.V~

"Wassup Ma" I hugged my mom.

"Hey what's going on, where's Summer and Kayla?" She been asking about Summer a lot now, I could've sworn she birthed me not Summer.

"She out with her friends"

"Ohh what's wrong? You sound upset or something?" She washed her hands at the sink and then dried them off now facing me.

"Im good Ma" I laughed

She shook her head "No you are not what's bothering you?"

"Im cool, I'm not gone lie though I'm about to buy a house soon for Summer, Kayla and I permanently. I'm serious about her. I'm making her my wife fasho"

My mom covered her mouth and she looked like she was about to cry. Her and Summer ass were crybabies. "Demetrius I've never heard you ever speak about marriage. This is music to my ears. Does she want more kids?"

"She said one more but  I told her she's having three more at a minimum"

My mom laughed but I was serious. "How you gone tell her what she's doing with her body you are something else. But I love it you know I already love her and Kayla. The only thing is has she talked about marriage before?"

I nodded "On our first date I asked her how she envisioned her future years and she said being married was one of the biggest visions she see for herself."

"That's so sweet. How about Kayla, do you think this is going to interfere with her ex or any other important people that may not like it?"

"Fuck that nigga and anybody else who don't like it"

She hit my arm.

"Pretty soon Ima talk to her moms and just bring it up, you know to get her blessings and shit"

"Wait why not her dad?" She raised her eyebrows

I kissed my teeth "Man fuck that nigga too I'm not asking him shit"

she hit my arm again "Stop all of that cussing, you not too grown to get a ass whooping.. what's wrong with her dad?"

"He definitely not telling her the truth but Ima give him a chance to come clean or"

"Or what?" she said

I stared at her and then she nodded. My mom knew about a lot of shit we just never talked about it.

I talked with my mom a little longer I didn't even realize how much time I spent with her until I looked at the time. "iight ma Ima head out ima bring Summer by tomorrow so you can see her before you leave" We said our goodbyes and I got into my truck and headed home. As I got closer to the house I stopped at a red light and opened my Instagram ignoring every notification I went  to see Summer's story.

I liked the story and then called her as I headed to the house. "What up Tho"

"Why you ain't send me that picture before posting it"

She laughed "I forgot, I was just walking past the mirror and looked good so I took a quick pic and posted it. Where are you though? I'm bored"

"I'm almost there, You ready to give me a son tonight?" Summer got off of birth control a few weeks ago and said we needed to be 'careful' until she decided if she wanted to get on another type of birth control but shit I don't know how much longer I can be careful.

She finished her glass of wine "Hmm I just might it just depends if you get here while I'm still in the mood" she smirked and then took off her top. I was damn near going cross eyed trying to watch her and the road.

"Okay I'll see you when you get here byee" she hung up. I hated when she did that teasing shit and then wanted to play sleep when I get home. Nah not tonight.

Definitely want to incorporate every character in each chapter but the next few will pretty much only focus on meech and summer

Who is the real problem here is it Destiny or David?
