MEECH~

"Demetrius what do you want?" Summer left the house four days ago and I let her just because I knew she needed her time to be mad. Those four days was enough, it's time for her to come home. "You still mad at me?" I sat on the couch in her office.

"No I'm not mad I just don't want to be bothered right now" She sat at her desk focusing on her laptop.

"Damn that's too bad because Ima bother you every single day until you come home" I shrugged getting comfortable.

She closed her laptop and then started to make a call to one of her clients. "Yes I already have it done and ready to try on. Uhhh Tomorrow? My schedule is slightly tight but I can definitely fit you in. Sounds good alright" Once she hung up she put her down on the desk sighing.

"What's wrong? Come talk to daddy" I patted the spot next to me.

She lifted her head up and mugged me. "Don't play with me Meech" She got up and came to sit on the couch. I looked at her crazy when she kicked off her slides and put her feet in my lap. "You might as well make yourself useful and give me a lil massage while I vent. Don't look at my feet like that they are clean"

"I'm tryna massage something else"

"You seriously always have sex on your mind huh?" She tilted her head. I nodded "Yeah all Twenty-four hours like a seven-eleven store"

She laughed "No but seriously I have a busy ass schedule this weekend and then I've been hella stressed finishing this dress for a very important client, having enough time to be with Kayla, Dealing with your ignorant ass and then still trying to balance other things in my business. I have to fit this girl in tomorrow to try on this dress and it's at the same time I would need to pick Kayla up."

"Ima pick her up. You just focus on what you need to do here"

"You sure? you know her ass is bad. And just because you're doing this for me doesn't mean I'm coming home"

"I can guarantee you coming home tonight ain't no debate about it" I said truthfully.

"No Im not, you need a reality check before I do anything  because how were you confronting me about something that isn't even true when really I should be confronting you because every time I look up your name is tied to some situation that includes a female. It's cool when you do it but it's a problem when I do it."

"Why you bringing up old stuff?" I tried to change the subject. She kissed her teeth "Whatever you heard what I said."  I nodded "Yeah and you heard what I said too. But for now ima take a quick nap while you continue to work, ima handle some business and then Ima come home and you and Kayla gone already be there right?" I said as I laid back on her couch closing my eyes.

"You sound crazy that's not going to happen" She got up going back over to her desk.

"Don't make me have to come get you Summer" I was deadass.

TAINA~

I successfully put both kids down for a nap and planned to get a few minutes of sleep for myself. Herb has been on his best behavior since my trip to Las Vegas a few months ago. I still have my suspicion but I didn't address anything especially when I was having my own fun. Although Jayson and I haven't spoken since the night at the club.

He felt some type of way because I posted a picture of Herb and I on my Instagram. What he didn't know was that I knew all about him and Ella Mai 'allegedly' dating. I didn't really care but when I confronted him about it he wanted to pull the whole 'Friends with benefits' card.

"Are you ready for the tour?" I asked Herb as I got into bed with him. "Hell naw especially since you not coming" I absolutely did not mind touring with him before having children. I tried it when Essex was about 7 months old and I never wanted do it again unless they were way older.

"I'm sure you will be fine without me this time" I said as I laid my head on his chest. "Nah you know I need you by my side all the time" He wrapped his arms around me.

If I was being honest I knew Herb would be fine on tour. There's plenty of females he will meet and I know he was going to have his fun with them. My mind drifted to Jayson for some reason. I felt like I was on a getaway whenever I was with him. I never thought I would possibly be able to be in a situation like this.

Later That Night

I was only able to get about twenty minutes of sleep to myself before I had to get up and start dinner. I was glad everyone was still sleep even Herb. That way I could clean up. I went into the laundry room and started to sort through the clothes. After I separated the kids clothes I started on mine and Herb's. Making sure to check the pockets because you know men always had some type of money in them. Sure enough he had hella 20's and 100's in a few of his pants. I got to one pair of Amiri's that felt like a card was in there.
I pulled the card out and it was a hotel room key.  We haven't been to any hotels within the past few months so I knew damn well it wasn't from a room for us.

"Taina!" Herb said from the door making me jump and turn around. I held the card behind my back. "You ain't hear me calling you?" I shook my head. "My bad what's wrong?"

"Emmy's up" He said and i scrunched up my face "Okay Herbert go get her I'm a little busy"

"Damn why you got a attitude?"

I smiled "I don't have a attitude I'm just saying go get her for me please. Let me finish cleaning and cooking really quick. Thank you" once he walked away I dropped the smile and put the card in my back pocket. I got something for his ass.

After dinner I literally couldn't wait for these next hours to fly by so I could check these bank statements in the morning.

-Background history-

I guess I can say my life was such a big mess. I grew up in a two parent house but the toxicity was definitely there. With my stepdad being in the music industry he took good care of us but he continuously cheated on my mom. My mom was such a strong woman so I never understood why she would allow him to do it. I didn't really notice it until I was in my teenage years. I watched how we always had the money but she still was doing everything on her own. Endless nights of him being out and doing whatever he wanted to do while she stayed home and took care of us. Believe it or not they are still together. I won't judge her but I just didn't understand her. I remember when I introduced her to herb and she sat me down later that night having a serious conversation about "Rappers" and the cons of being a rapper's girlfriend or wife. I really didn't think the conversation was that serious until now. Now I'm stuck in a scenario where I have two children by a rapper, who is absolutely a great dad when he is here but just a fucked up lover when it comes to me. Not to mention I've now added a Basketball player into the mix now.

                          Summer~

"It's so beautiful!! I love it" my client stood in front of the mirror. I usually only took celebrity clients when it came to handmade outfits but Myah referred her and this girl needed a matching dramatic dresses and sheer  tulle robes  for her maternity shoot with her daughter.

"You look so beautiful" I fluffed the end of the robe out. As the photographer invited the dad into the frame. She insisted that I came to the photo shoot with her so she would feel comfortable changing and making sure the outfits looks okay on her. I understand why though it was just her pregnancy nerves once you're close to that finish line you're so worried that everything you wear looks awkward.

After the photo shoot. I started to pack up my materials. "Thank you so much again! I will be sure to send you some of the professional photos once they are back in." I nodded "no problem I will send you the ones I took from the side and congratulations again." I looked at her daughter "Are you ready to be a big sister?" She smiled and rubbed her moms stomach "yes I can't wait!"

"Do you have any kids?" 

"Yes girl I have a three year old who swears I'm the child and she is the mother" I shook my head thinking about how bossy Kayala was now.

"Tell me about it. I'm just thinking about how I'll have two girls now" she rubbed her stomach. "Yall about to run my pockets dry man" the dad interrupted and we laughed.

"As y'all should" I looked down at my phone ringing. "Ouu I have to take this really quick"

"No problem. I will be in contact with you" she said back to me as I headed out of the door.

"How'd it go?" Meech said into the phone. I put my bag with my materials into my trunk and walked around to the drivers side. "It was great" I started
My truck up. "The dress and robes came out perfect and she looked so pretty overall" seeing her at that shoot today kind of gave me baby fever.

-Background history/Flashback-
"Ma please say something" I stared at Ma as she looked so disappointed in me. "I just don't understand Summer why'd you let that boy go and get you pregnant" she was referring to Markeyvius. She hated everything about him since she met him when we were in high school. "So what's next? Are you going to continue going to college or... coming home for online classes?" I shrugged "I'm going to probably take a year off after this semester and move in with Markeyvius" I mumbled. I was 20 at the time so I really could just do  whatever I wanted to do.

"You're so dumb Summer, why are you moving in with him?" Nikole mushed my head. "Because he said he was going to help duh!" Nikole kissed her teeth "And you believe his lying ass huh? Especially after he put his hands on you? I hope you wake the hell up from this little fairy tale life you're expecting from him because it'll never happen! And tell him when I see him I'm macing the hell out of him and not regular mace I'm using Bear Mace"  Taina rubbed my back as I started to cry "Dang Nikole"

It was safe to say both Ma and Nikole were right. Shortly after giving birth to Kayla his ass was no where to be found. I ended up moving back in with them. He didn't officially meet her until she was 5 months and he claimed it was because his career was taking off and he was out of town most of the time. Which was bullshit. After the trauma I've been through with him I literally vowed to not have another kid until I knew I met the person I was going to be married to.
-End of flashback-

"I don't know why you was doubting yourself Summer you always do a good job" Meech said and I focused on the road. "I know this was just something new you know? But anyways what are y'all doing? I'm about to be pulling up soon"

Meech flipped the camera so I can see Kayla was sleep on the couch with that damn iPad still in her hand. "I didn't think she was gone fall asleep and as wild as she been today I don't even want to move her she need a nap man. When you come in I need to roll up immediately " I laughed at him because I warned him her ass has been on a roll lately.  "Okay I'll see you in a little bit" I ended the call as I approached our street.

Once I parked in the garage. I grabbed my purse and went inside. Making sure to not slam the door that's the last thing I needed was for Kayla to wake up. I went into our room where Meech was. "I need to shower so I can relax" I kicked off my heels placing them back into their proper spot in the closet before going to the bathroom and turning on the water.

I started to take unbuttoned my shirt and threw it to the side "Damn no kiss or nothing huh?" He said as he closed the bedroom door locking it. He then came into the bathroom coming up behind me kissing me on my neck causing me to tilt my head to the side and bite my lip "Don't start Demetrius.."

He smirked pulling up my skirt. I heard my phone ringing from the room but I chose to ignore it focusing as Meech slowly slid in me. I could literally hear my phone ringing back to back. "Wait wait it's probably an emergency" I lightly pushed him back as I went into the room grabbing my phone."This is a emergency right here!" He said looking down. I put my hand up telling him to wait and I answered the phone "Yes what's wrong Dj"

I could hear what sounded like Maria crying in the background "Summer David is missing I really need your help!"
