NIKOLE POV~

I went to my doctors appointment this morning by myself because apparently Myles got arrested last night for a Dwi. I was honestly mad at him because he knew better. However my anger quickly turned into happiness once I found out I was having a Boy. I didn't want to do a gender reveal because I felt like those were a waste of time and money that I'd rather spend on the baby shower.

Summer was now at my office showing me baby clothes she found online. "Nikole are you listening?" She asked turning her phone so I could see the outfits. I nodded "Yes Summer" I laughed at how excited she was. "I want you to relax Nikole. Myles is going to be fine, everyone does something dumb at-least once in their lifetime"

"I am relaxed I just hate the things the internet is saying about him. They don't even know him to be saying shit like this"

Summer sat her phone down. "Trust me girl I know" she picked her phone back up and scrolled for a few seconds before showing me a post from a blog of the old picture of him and Brandy aka "Barbie"

"This has been circling the internet because this bitch is still mad that he doesn't want her. So she decided to upload this old ass picture. You would've thought her getting her ass beat was enough" We both laughed "But seriously the comments were crucial as hell some of them tagged me and said 'I deserved better', some were calling me dumb and others were literally calling Brandy a home-wrecker and shit like that but girl it's better to just put the phone down and don't let anything anyone else says get to you"

"You know what? You're right which is weird because I'm always right" I joked as Myles came into the office. Once he was released he went home to shower and do whatever he needed to do for the day. I didn't really care I was only focused on one thing.

"Wassup Summer" he nodded at her and came over to sit next to me. "Yo what's wrong with your phone? I been calling you"

"Nothing is wrong with it I just didn't want to answer at the time" I said truthfully.

"Okay I will see you guys later. I have to hit the grocery store" Summer got up leaving out of the office.

"Nikole baby I'm sorry. Im just as mad as you are about missing the appointment" He started to rub my stomach. "Myles I just need you to make better choices. You have a whole ass family and career everybody on the internet has been saying stuff..."

"Let them say it Nikole. That shit don't faze me, stop reading them comments Ma" he pulled me into a kiss.
"I just want to let you know we can get started on making a girl as soon as you give birth"

I shook my head "Uhn uhn one and done"

"Yeah okay we'll see. Are you hungry tho?" He already knew the answer.

"Hell yeah! Let's go, you know I am"

After Myles and I grabbed something to eat. I asked if he could take me to my mothers grave. I haven't been here since high school and I really felt like talking to her about my pregnancy. I wanted her to know about the success in my life so far. I prayed everyday that  she was in heaven looking down on me.

SUMMER POV~

I went to lock up my work space so I could go pick up Kayla from Preschool. Hopping inside my car I pulled out my phone and called Meech.

He answered on the third ring "Wassup Beautiful" He smiled down at the camera before turning his attention back into whatever he was doing. I could hear somebody in the back more than likely it was his homies.

"Are you going to be home in time for dinner?" I asked since he been coming in late as hell the past few weeks. He said it's due to filming but filming ends at 10pm. I wasn't dumb.

"Damn umm ima probably be late just put me a plate up please"

"Okay" I said simply as I headed towards the school. "Don't be mad Summer"

"Why would I be mad Demetrius" one thing about me I ain't missing no meals ima eat regardless if he at the table or not.

He went into a separate room "It sound like you got a lil attitude of something"

"Nope" I said making sure to add a emphasis on the 'p' .

"If you miss me just say that Ma" I could tell he just finished smoking his eyes was red as hell.

"Ima call you back, I need to take this call" I lied and hung up. I called Taina instead. "What are you doing tonight?"

"I'm glad you asked" she smiled into the camera "come with me to Jayson's game"

I pulled into the parking lot "it's in Atlanta?" She nodded "Yes the Celtics are playing the Hawks"

I sighed thinking of the chaos this could start but I was with it. "Okay let me think of a outfit. I'm picking up Kayla now. I need to see if my mom or Nikole will babysit"

I got a text from Meech. "Why tf you hang up on me Summer? Who you talking to?"

"Okay call me when you're getting ready" Taina said as she rocked Emmy who was crying. We said our goodbyes and I called Nikole.

Later that Night~
State Farm Arena | 10:30pm

Everyone literally was on the edge of their seats as it was down to the last 30 seconds in the fourth quarter and the Celtics and Hawks were tied 100 points.

Jayson ended up making a 3 pointer right before the time ran out.

Taina was cheering him the hell on. I had to side eye her a little. "Girl you are not in Boston right now calm down before one of these cameras catch you"

She looked around "my bad I was in the moment. Come on follow me" she grabbed my hand as we waited at the end of the tunnel. Once Jayson was done with his interview he came over and I excused myself while they talked.

Looking down at my phone. I opened Meech's messages and didn't respond. I just wanted to be petty and for him to see that I left him on read. After they were finished Taina told me they were going to have drinks with a few team mates. At first I was going to say no but I knew that Meech still wasn't home. So I decided to come along.

I'm glad I dressed up because I didn't think I was going to go to a club with them. I was honestly trying to have a good time but I rather be at home with my man and my kid. One of Jayson's friends was on my ass all night. I wasn't interested at all I just gave him my Instagram and left it at that.

I told Taina I was going to leave early and head home. Her and Jayson walked me outside of the club as I waited for Quinton who was our usual personal driver when ever we went out. As he pulled the black truck up Taina hugged me "okay girl please text me when you get home. I'll be leaving soon too" she reassured. "Nice to finally meet you Jayson" I said before finally getting in the car.

Once I got home I kicked off my shoes at the door and went into the kitchen pouring me a glass of wine. I texted Nikole that I would come get Kayla early in the morning and she said that was okay. About ten minutes later I heard Meech come into the front door. "You had fun tonight?" He said coming into the kitchen facing me.

I nodded sipping my wine. "Yup I had a good night"

"I bet you did since you was smiling in other niggas faces" He said not taking his eyes off of me.

"Demetrius what are you talking about. I went out with Taina so cut it out" I finished my drink

"I seen you leaving the club with that basketball nigga and then you went to the game too. So that's what you been on lately? Being a hoe?" He got in my face.

The fact that he thought I was entertaining Jayson was crazy. I don't even know that man that's all Taina. I'm guessing whoever told him about me at the club didn't see Taina walking with me or didn't notice her.

I was taken aback by what he just called me I couldn't even react quick enough. "Get the fuck out of my face Meech. How dare you call me a hoe. Are you serious?! You slept with damn near every bitch in ATLANTA!"

"This not about me"

I didn't even respond I walked away and went in the bedroom. Because if I would've let my intrusive thoughts win I would've went across his head with that wine bottle.

Going into the closet I stepped out of my dress and started to look for something that I could change into after I showered.

"Look Summer I'm sorry I should've never called you a hoe. I didn't mean that I'm just mad at the fact that I got people calling me saying you all in niggas faces and shit"

I walked out of the closet walking past him giving him a death stare.

"So now you don't hear me?" He followed behind me.
I turned around to face him "I hear you loud and clear. But don't worry because once the morning comes you don't have to worry about this hoe anymore I'll be gone" I walked into the bathroom slamming the door behind me.
