Meech's Pov~

Private Location| 7:05 Pm

I blew smoke out and looked out on the beach at the sunset. I told Summer to pack a bag a few days ago because I wanted to take her somewhere nice for her birthday. She didn't bring up her birthday a lot and has only been focused on working so I felt like putting her on a private jet and showing her what she deserved was perfect.

"This is so beautiful" Summer took a sip of her drink and I nodded putting the wood out in the ashtray. I looked over at her and she was staring out onto the ocean almost as if she was spaced out. "What's wrong?" She shook her head "Nothing's wrong everything is perfect, I'm just taking it all in. The view, the weather, it's just a peaceful feeling"

"Yeah...You remember a few weeks ago you told me about some workspace studios you was looking at? There was one you really liked in the city right?" She nodded "Yeah it was nice spacious as hell. Why?" She looked at me. I dug into my bag and pulled out a set of keys. "It's all yours now" Her eyes widened as she looked at the keys "Wait what Demetrius.. seriously?" I nodded "Hell yeah, you deserve it. You kept talking about it and I know you were saving up to get it until you found out it was sold. I'm not gone lie when you called me upset about it being sold it was hard to keep that shit a secret but I knew waiting till your birthday would be better"

She got out of her beach chair and came to sit on my lap. "Oh My God. Thank You so much! I can't even express how happy I am right now" She laughed as she leaned down to kiss me. She looked at the keys smiling. "I'm so grateful for this Meech honestly. I don't think I've ever had anyone do anything for me like this. I usually get everything myself.." She paused and fanned herself as she started to tear up "I don't know it's such a different feeling to actually have someone in my corner really supporting me"

"That's why I love you. I knew two things about you that very first day we met on set last year. You was about your business and you had a perfect body" She laughed and hit my arm. "Nah but seriously you about your shit Summer. You put your family and work first most of these females out here don't even have careers. You came with your own shit, you're a good mother, you stay to yourself, and you're slightly crazy. I love that side of you too. I ain't gone say too much because you already crying and shit but just know I love everything about you, Fasho"

"Did you have to add the 'Fasho' at the end" She laughed "I'm literally the luckiest woman in the world right now and to think I wasn't even going to talk to your young ass when you first asked for my number" she smirked "Now look at me"

I nodded "Yeah look at you. Looking good as hell" I pulled on her swimsuit top string. "You always want to be nasty" She looked around. "Shit I can't help myself. Don't even worry nobody can see us I made sure of that when I first booked it"

Nikole~

"Okay you're next appointment is booked. We will see you on the twenty-fourth" The receptionist at my doctor's office gave me a printed paper with my next appointment details. "Thank You" I smiled at her and looked at Myles who was looking around the lobby as people let their kids run around . I grabbed his hand "Come on. Why are you looking like that?" I asked as we walked to the car.

"The kids in there was crazy as hell" He said shaking his head as he started up the car. "Well I hope you're ready for tonight" I laughed. I told Summer I would watch Kayla tonight because she doesn't return from her trip until tomorrow morning. "Kayla doesn't seem that bad she usually chilling when Summer bring her around" He said.

"That's true until you tell her spoiled ass 'No' or try to take that Ipad from her and see what happens" I called Ma and told her the update on my appointment and everything the doctor told me. I put the phone on speaker "Yeah but you still need to chill out Nikole, don't stress yourself and make sure you're getting some rest everyday" That was my favorite thing to do. Sleep

"Yeah she's definitely getting enough sleep for sure" Myles chimed in. He was only salty because I slept through the day and then woke up early as hell expecting him to be up with me. I scrolled through my timeline as I continued talking to her.

"You talked to Summer, I sent her a long birthday message and called this morning" I checked the address as we pulled up into Markeyvius's neighborhood. It was nice and the houses were big as hell. "Yeah Ma I talked to her yesterday. She told me she wasn't going to use her phone today she said she wanted some 'alone' time and was going to respond to everyone tomorrow when she gets back" I squinted my eyes at the address and immediately knew it was his house once I seen them yellow ass cars. "It's right here" I pointed as Myles pulled into the driveway. "Okay Ma let me call you back later" "Okay I love you, bye".

I got out of the car and rang the doorbell. Some girl opened the door looking me up and down. She looked like a Instagram model . "Can I help you?" I wasn't going to be rude today so I smiled and said  "I'm here to get Kayla". She gave me a fake smile "Oh okay hold on".

Markeyvius came to the door with Kayla not far behind him. "Wassup where's Summer" I shrugged "She's still on vacation" He handed me her bag "Damn still?" I smirked and squinted my eyes "Why you so worried about her all of a sudden" he waved me off "Mann I ain't sweating her I'm just saying she been gone for a while". Kayla came up to me hugging my leg "Hi Tete" "Well for your information her man decided she deserved a full week of relaxation" I said making sure to put an emphasis on 'HER MAN'

I heard his girlfriend clear her throat. I didn't know she was standing there "Yeah why are you so worried about her Markeyvius" she asked with her arms crossed over her chest.

I laughed "Well yall have a good one. Bye" I said grabbing Kayla's hand and heading back to the car.

The Next Morning~

This morning I stopped by the office with Kayla just to get out of the house and to look over some recent orders. After I finished up there we went to have lunch at Chick-fil-a. This girl was obsessed with this place that's all she ever wanted, Chick fil a nuggets and lemonade. After lunch we went to the nail salon getting matching pinks for our pedicures and then ended up at the mall.

I secretly hoped I was having a girl so I could experience days like this every single day. Once we made it back to the house. We both were tired and took a nap. One thing I did not like was that she inherited Summer's wild ass sleeping. This girl moved so much in her sleep I was started to get worried she would fall out of the bed. Once I was comfortable enough to fall into a deep sleep I regretted it.

I occasionally would have these flash backs/dreams of the night my mom died. I've never told anyone but it haunted me. When I first moved in with Ma and Summer I would always wake up in the middle of the night scared and often would get in the bed with Ma because I didn't want to be in my own room. I stopped having them once I got older but Since I've been pregnant I started having them again which made it so bad for me because I was always tired.

This nightmare always started with a dark house. It was cold really cold to the point you would clutch the covers to your body as close as you could. In the distance you could hear my mom and dad arguing. I could just hear voices but couldn't really make out the words they were saying. Covering my ears didn't help because It's like the voices got louder and louder as if they were approaching my room and then all of a sudden you hear a loud Boom. Sitting up in the bed hesitant to move but curious to know what happened and why I couldn't hear their voices anymore. I flipped the covers back and slowly walked to the door. The moon shining into my dark room made it even more sinister. Once I got to the door I would shakily raise my arm to reach for the door knob. Slowly turning it I anticipated seeing their faces on the other side but every time I did I would wake up.

I woke up out of the dream with Summer looking at me crazy holding Kayla "Nikole Are you okay? What's wrong?" I was covered in sweat and my heartbeat was literally racing. I couldn't get any words out as I started to hyperventilate. Her eyes widened as she quickly sat Kayla down "Oh my god Nikole Breath"

I feel like it's the perfect time to give the background of everyone and their trauma. This would better explain each character and their personalities.

I hate how I started the chapter all happy and then ended it with something crazy.
