geonu sighed and put his phone back inside his pocket. nothing bad happened, right?

"is something wrong?" hanbin asked while handing him his coffee. he's at the cafeteria with his hyung and they're having breakfast together since the others are already in their classes.

"yeah. jake just informed me that he'll be absent today." geonu looked down, sulking. he's so used to his best friend's presence that when jake's not around, he feels a little off and uncomfortable.

hanbin nodded, taking a seat infront of him. "that's a first. is he doing fine?"

he shrugs. "maybe. i'll try to call him later to check up on him."

the two started eating while talking about random things in between. suddenly, hanbin waved at someone.

when geonu saw who it was, he quickly covered his face and hid under the table.

"geonu? what the hell are you doing?" hanbin asked while looking ath him weirdly.

"is heeseung gone now?" he whispered, still hiding.

"yes, he's gone now." geonu sighed in relief as he sat back on his chair again.

the older eyed him with curiosity. "isn't heeseung your tutor? why are you avoiding him?"

he rolled his eyes. "he blocked me, so i'm blocking him on real life too."

"he blocked you? why?"

"because i asked him if he likes me."

hanbin coughed. he was caught off guard by geonu's last statement. when did this even happen? and why am i just hearing about this?

geonu gave him water. "you okay hyung?"

the guy paused. "so, you like heeseung?"

he nods in agreement, but hanbin looked like he's not believing it.

"hyung, isn't it obvious already? i thought you knew." geonu added.

hanbin massaged his temple. two of his friends are dating his fellow dance club members right now, imagine if geonu and heeseung adds to the list. it's gonna be a real headache.

"geonu, will you stop spacing out?" daniel pulled his backpack to avoid the him from bumping on people.

the two are now heading to the parking lot and are planning to go home early since their professor gave them a free cut.

"sorry, i'm just thinking of something-"

daniel gasped. "you're thinking?"

this shit. "don't test my patience daniel."

"noted, midget. but can you walk faster? i know your legs are short but please keep up- aw shit!" daniel ran fast as geonu chased after him.

geonu chased him for three minutes before daniel finally surrendered, his breath running short as they reached the parking lot.

"how are you so fast at running?" daniel pants, trying to catch his breath.

geonu laughed. "that's what you call pure talent. that usain voltage could never."

"geonu, his name's usain bolt. atleast get his name right." geonu made a face and just ignored daniel.

they both walked towards daniel's car, but stopped when they saw heeseung standing nearby, as if he was waiting for them.

geonu looked away when heeseung glanced at his direction. they never got to talk again since they guy blocked him, so it feels kind of awkward.

it's too late to hide now.

"uh, i think i need to go first." daniel swiftly went towards his car and got inside, waving at him as a goodbye.

he got stunned on how fast daniel just left him.

"wait dan-!" geonu was about to follow his friend but heeseung got a hold of him, grabbing his hand.

"i'm not gonna let you avoid me anymore." he groaned and rolled his eyes at the guy. how is he so annoying but handsome at the same time?

heeseung pulled him next to his car, signalling him to go inside.

"i'm not going anywhere with you."

"and i'm not going anywhere without you, so hurry up and just get inside."

okay, that almost made my heart flutter. he grunted as he went and sat on the passenger seat. "you know this is kidnapping right?"

he heard him chuckle, as if he was amused by geonu's statement.

when heeseung started driving, geonu tried to maintain silence the whole ride.

"where are you even taking me?" geonu finally asked.

"to my apartment." heeseung raised an eyebrow when he saw geonu looking like he's been electrified.

"we're gonna catch up on your sessions because you've been ditching your tutor." he continued.

geonu scoffed. "wow, it's not my fault that my tutor blocked me."

heeseung didn't answer. instead, he brought up another different topic. "i heard you almost failed your anaphy quiz earlier."

"who told you that?" how the hell did he even know about that?

"no one." the guy glanced at him. "that's why we're gonna review your lessons."

geonu inhaled, trying to calm himself from getting pissed off. "the quiz was difficult, stop judging me."

"i'm not judging you. also, i'm sure it's not that difficult."

"it is! what does an engineering major know about anatomy and physiology anyways?!"

heeseung shrugged. "try me then. ask a question about anaphy, i'll answer it."

geonu glared at him. "fine." he paused for a while and heeseung was just waiting for him to ask again.

"do you like me?"

heeseung clicked his tongue, trying to focus his eyes on the road. "that's not an anaphy question."

"i know, but it's easy right? just a yes or no question." geonu stared at him. "so why can't you give me an answer?"

heeseung didn't answer. meanwhile, geonu's getting impatient. can't he just answer it for fuck's sake?!

"seriously, there's no need for you to solve something or whatever-"

"you know, you're really an annoying dwarf." heeseung cuts him off. he stopped driving, letting his car park on the side of the high way.

"stop calling me dwarf-"

"you're really really hard-headed. i hate how dumb and stubborn you are, and i hate how you talk too much."

he faced geonu. "you're always so impulsive and you don't even think before you say something. you're noisy, you're always drinking- plus the fact that you don't take studying seriously."

geonu stared at him with disbelief. is he insulting me?

heeseung chuckled. "but you know what i hate more? i hate how despite all of that- despite how annoying you are, i still like you. no matter how you make my blood boil with frustration, at the end of the day- it's still you."

holy.... what did i just hear? geonu was beyond speechless.

"does that answer your question?" heeseung started driving again, now with a smirk on his face.

geonu cleared his throat, ignoring how flustered he is right now. "yeah, thanks. i mean, you could've answered that without insulting me- but thanks i guess."

heeseung rolled his eyes. "yes, i do like you. is that okay now?"

he looked away, trying to hide the evident blush on his cheeks. "more than okay. and uh, i like you too."

"i know, dwarf. i know." heeseung smiled while looking at geonu.
