"are you done flirting with your #1 park?" jake almost choked on his food when geonu mumbled beside him.

jake glared at him but geonu just shrugged. "what? you've been smiling like an idiot on your phone so i had to double check who you're texting to, and i was right."

daniel is just sipping on his coffee while listening to them. he knows about geonu and heeseung, but it never occured to him that there would also be something going on between jake and sunghoon.

seriously, what's with my friends dating hanbin hyung's dance club members?

"shut up, that's none of your business."

"you two even have a date—" jake covered geonu's mouth to stop the guy from exposing him more.

i should really bring a packing tape to shut geonu's mouth next time. he lets go of geonu and glared again as a warning.

daniel sighed while looking at the two in front of him. "can you guys stop bickering already and just eat?"

"noted donkey," geonu smiled sarcastically and started eating again.

"are you still avoiding heeseung?" jake raised an eyebrow at daniel's question.

he faced geonu. "what? you're avoiding heeseung?"

"no? that's funny, why would i avoid my tutor?" their friend shook his head, feigning ignorance.

jake nodded. he glanced behind geonu, pretending to wave at someone. "oh, heeseung!"

geonu almost jump out of his seat as he frantically went under the table, trying to hide himself. not avoiding, huh.

"damn it jake! why would you do that?! i almost choked and died." geonu hits his arm as he sat beside him again.

daniel couldn't help but laugh at what he just witnessed. "geonu, why would you even try to hide yourself? did heeseung scare you or something?"

"no, why would i be scared of him? he's the guy i like."

"so? why are you trying to avoid him?"

geonu looked down and stared at his food. "i don't know. he blocked me right after i asked him a question, so i don't want to see his face right now. and...." his voice trailed off.

"and?" jake continued to pry.

"he said something the night i was drunk, and to be honest, it scared me."

jake and daniel got confused. "it scared you? did he threaten to kill you and sell your kidneys?" daniel asked.

geonu rolled his eyes. "no! you idiot. not that kind of scared. it's just that, i'm not trying to be assuming or anything. but what if he likes me?"

"well, isn't that what you want?" jake replied.

"i do want that. but the thought of him liking me, it scares me." geonu chuckled. "anyways, nevermind that. let's just eat."

daniel and jake stared at each other, the same thought crossed their minds.

if geonu doesn't figure out his feelings, someone may end up getting his heart broken. and that person is definitely not geonu.

jake puts his binder inside his backpack as the professor finally finished the lecture. he hummed as he combed his hair with his left hand, trying to fix it.

"wow, look at you getting all excited." sunoo giggled behind him.

jake looked puzzled, but sunoo just pointed at geonu. "he told me about your date with sunghoon."

he groaned, but he has no energy to bicker with geonu again. "yeah, whatever. i'll go first."

"have fun on your date! don't forget to take pictures for memories!" he chuckled when he still heard sunoo's voice as he walked outside of the room.

fuck, i can't stop myself from smiling. can i call this a date? jake grinned.

he honestly doesn't know if sunghoon likes him. they'll talk about it later, and there's a probability that sunghoon will reject him. but i don't really care anymore, because it doesn't change the fact that i still like him.

he took his phone out to text sunghoon. his eyebrows furrowed when he saw a text from his brother.

when he read the message, his smile immediately disappeared. shit.

sunghoon puts his hand inside his pockets as he patiently waits for jake on the parking lot, just outside his car.

he smiled when he saw the guy walking fast, but it turned into confusion when jake just ignored him and got inside his own car. his thoughts were running wild as he watch jake leave.

did he... did he not see me? it seems like the guy was in a hurry, because he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. did something happen?

sunghoon is still processing what just occured when he received a text. it's from jake.
