sunoo stood up and walked towards him. "that's enough geonu, stop torturing jake."

geonu rolled his eyes. "fine, suit yourselves."

they're busy preparing themselves for youngbin's welcome party. jake hasn't even met the guy yet, and now he's attending his party. did i even got invited?

sunoo brushed his hand on jake's hair. "let me fix your hair real quick." he just nodded in agreement, letting sunoo do what he wants.

jungwon, who is busy using his phone while sitting on the couch, grunted. "hello, we're already thirty minutes late."

geonu snickered. "someone's excited. why, are you trying to impress jay's bff? or are you threatened?" the boy even laughed, which made jungwon glare at him.

"shut up."

"i mean, youngbin looks fine as f- daniel!" geonu stopped talking when daniel threw him his jacket.

"you need to learn when to shut that mouth of yours." jake just watched as the two started another world war against each other.

he suddenly thought of someone. will he be there? do i want to see him?

"there, all done jakey." sunoo took his phone out. "wait, i'll take a picture of my masterpiece."

after they arrived at youngbin's party, geonu immediately dragged him to play beer pong with strangers, which he assumed that they're youngbin's friends.

"here," geonu handed him a drink.

"uh, what's this?"

"i don't know, i just grabbed that on the nearest table." his friend shrugged. jake smelled the weird drink before tasting it. tastes like shit, but bearable.

he roamed his eyes around, looking for familiar faces in the crowd. jungwon's probably with jay, and his other friends are also cannot be found. great, i'm stuck with my drunkard friend.

he's also probably not here. jake got a little bit disappointed. he didn't want to sound like he wanted to see the guy, but he was kind of expecting. i mean, we're already friends right?

he chugged down the drink, finishing it. nevermind, i'm just confused. alcohol might erase this weird feeling off of me.

after a while, jake finally shut up. he was staring blankly at his empty cup.

"hey, you okay?" geonu nudged him. jake looked at him and smiled.

oh gods, i thought he got sober. i was wrong.

his best friend leaned in and whispered to his ear. "i'll tell you something."

geonu raised an eyebrow, slightly curious. "what is it?" he sipped on his drink.

"sunghoon kissed me."

geonu suddenly choked on his drink, coughing. what the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK DID HE JUST SAY?!

jake giggled at geonu's reaction. "shocking right? he- he kissed me. like, out of nowhere. and now, i'm feeling things. i shouldn't feel things right? that's just- that's just weird."

oh my gods. geonu covered his mouth due to shock. he never expected it. so it was sunghoon? this is such huge news. he eyed his best friend who is clueless right now because of alcohol. i hope he doesn't remember this conversation, at all.

geonu snapped out of his own thoughts when he saw daniel, sunoo, and jungwon went out of the gate. huh? did something happen?

sunghoon can only sigh as he looks at jay. he witnessed his and youngbin's argument earlier, plus the scene where jungwon walked out, leaving jay alone.

it's no one's fault, but it's devastating to watch.

"where's youngbin?" he asked heeseung who's busy cleaning up the mess.

"in his room," heeseung's eyes furrowed as he saw two familiar figures heading towards them.

taki was the first one to notice them. "oh, geonu? wait, is jake alright?"

"yep, he's just slightly drunk," geonu nodded, assisting jake and letting him sit on the sofa.

he cleared his throat. "so, we don't have someone to drive us home. can we hitch a ride or something?"

"oh..." taki paused, thinking deeply. "heeseung can drive you home, and sunghoon can drop jake off. how about that?"

geonu's smile dropped as he looked at heeseung who's clearly not happy with the idea. my head's pounding right now and i have no energy to deal with him.

"can't we just have sunghoon to drive us home? i don't want to leave jake alone, he's quite messy when he's drunk." he tried to reason out. he also can't leave his best friend to sunghoon, or else jake's gonna kill him.

sunghoon glanced at the boy who's now asleep on the sofa.

"it's okay, i'll drive jake to his apartment. heeseung's going home now, so you can go with him. i'll just wait a few minutes for jake to sober up." sunghoon suddenly announced.

taki clapped his hands. "great then! i'll just clean up the mess outside."

wait what? fuck. geonu internally cursed. "can't i just go with you sungh-"

heeseung eyed him as he grab his coat and keys. "i'll drive you home." he started walking.

"take care of jake okay? i'll put you on my hit list if something happens to him." geonu glared at sunghoon while the guy just nods at him.

"you know what, i don't wanna leave jake with-" geonu let out a slight gasp when heeseung grabbed his hand and dragged him outside.

"dwarf, i said i'll drive you home. now stop talking."

geonu bit his lower lip. will i be okay? and more importantly, will jake be okay?
