heeseung was busy eating his food while sunghoon is sitting across the table, his eyes focused on the book that he's reading.

"is nicholas gonna come here? it's been almost 10 minutes, i still have to go to the library." sunghoon grunted.

"he's always late. how are you still not used to it?" heeseung replied, glancing at the entrance of the cafeteria.

sunghoon sighed and shook his head and continued reading. minutes later, he heard heeseung mumbled something.

"did you say something?"

"nah," his friend pointed his hand towards the entrance. "look, isn't that jake?"

he raised an eyebrow when he saw geonu and jake, who seemed to be playing a tug of war. geonu is pulling jake's arm but the boy looks like he's resisting, his face looks like he really doesn't want it.

the corner of sunghoon's lips rose. he looks cute.

"geonu! let go of me— i don't wanna go inside!" jake struggled to pull his arm away from his best friend, who is determined on dragging him inside the cafeteria.

on normal cases, he would not do this. he's a calm and collected person, and he definitely will just agree with geonu for the sake of peace. but this is different. sunghoon is there.

as much as possible, i don't want to see him.

"but you agreed to come with me! come on bestie, show me some support will you?" geonu pleads.

i did agree, but that was before i knew sunghoon would be there too. he wanted to speak up but he doesn't want to tell geonu what happened.

they're already in front of the cafeteria, and some students are staring at them.

"jake, here!" he cursed when he heard heeseung calling him.

"oh my gosh," geonu giggled. "he's waving at us—wait sim jaeyun where are you going? jake you shit—!"

jake finally escaped from geonu's grip. he took the opportunity to run outside the building. geonu also left, following his footsteps.

i know he doesn't remember anything, but what if he suddenly did? i can't bear to handle that. i'd do anything just to save myself from another embarrassment.

"eww no. imagine being all clingy to a person, plus hugging and kissing all the time. gross."

he stopped drinking halfway when he heard what heeseung just said.

a vivid scenario of him kissing someone suddenly appeared on his mind.

he spat out his drink and coughed, trying to comprehend what just happened. where did that scene come from?

"you good, hoon?" heeseung asked, his tone laced with concern.

he shook his head. "no—i....i just.." he paused, trying to remember it clearly.

car. i was in a car with someone. i thought it was a dream. i thought i was imagining things, but i wasn't. it really happened.

i kissed someone.

sunghoon mentally cursed when the face of the person dawned to him. so that was the reason why the guy was avoiding him.

he kissed jake.
