Dear Dorthey,

It's been a while since we've talked, and I'll admit that's on me. Work has been busy along with getting back into a normal routine ever since I've moved in with Matt. Something about living with your boyfriend just makes everything much more real, almost like I'm finally becoming an adult. Sure I'm 25 but, you know what I mean.

I miss seeing your face each and every day. Work is a lot harder when you don't have a bundle of sunshine telling you your doing good all the time. Instead, I've been left with doom and gloom (aka Saanvi, She still hates me.) But I'll survive. What matters most is that I'm happy with the rest of my life right now. 

Matt and I are celebrating our 7th month anniversary pretty soon and I can't wait. We've discussed going down to the West-Coast and spending some time near San Diego. He said the fondest memories he has that stick with him the most is spending time near the beach with his dad over summer vacation when he was younger. I want to bring him a sense of  nostalgia, one that would make him happy. We're still working on the details, but we're both pretty stoked (Isn't that how Californians talk? I haven't gone in so long I can't seem to remember.)

How's Boston? Everything's always better in Boston am I right? Sorry, that may sound stupid, I just saw it on a magnet the other day. Last time we talked you told me that you had made some friends. I'm real happy for you. I hope that your able to find some peace, especially with everything that happened. Know that your always welcome to come visit Matt and I. I'll sleep on the floor if it means you staying with us. Plus, Matt and I could really go for some of your sugar cookies.
