Chillin' like a villain

-With Varian-

If someone had ever told Varian that he was ever going to pay a little visit to a villain base, along with the second most wanted criminal, he would've slapped the person in the face. Or, well, he probably wouldn't because he wasn't a violent person, but he sure would've been concerned for their mental health. 

And yet, now that he was here, he would love it, if someone were to slap him in the face - just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. 

He found himself in front of a 20 feet tall wall, surrounding the village - and even though the village was safely hidden behind these massive walls, screams, yells, and shouts were still heard from here. And they didn't sound very friendly. 

Varian wondered why no one ever had heard of this place (well, besides from the criminals), as he looked around closer. There were massive, burning torches tied to every tree nearby, and frightening paintings and messages were painted on the bricks of the wall - which also had barbwire on top. On the very gate, there was written three words: "Entrance to hell"

Varian tried to gather his courage to go over there, but just as he and you got nearer, you took a sharp turn to the left. Varian rose his brows but didn't complain, as he followed you down a navy path through the forest. 

As the forest became denser, Varian tried to get his breathing under control, after he just saw a large painting of queen Rapunzel herself - behind a fat, large and red X. That wasn't good. Didn't the criminals like her? Who didn't like Rapunzel? And why was there only paintings of her, and not the other kings and queens of the other kingdoms? And if they "knew" Rapunzel so well, shouldn't they be able to recognize her royal engineer? He sure hoped not. 

"Relax, pretty boy. No one will notice you, as long you quit your weird behavior." You spoke up as if you had read his mind. You were leading the way, with a straight back and a confident smile on your face. Varian guessed you must be pretty known around here, and used to the circumstances. Well, he wasn't. He was on the edge of having a panic attack, and it sure didn't help that the air was filled with the smell of smoke and blood, and on the other side of the wall, very cursed words were yelled. 

Varian didn't even notice that you had gotten to a clearing with two strangers until he heard one of them yell your name.

"(Y/n)!"

"Willow! Yes!" You cheered, and Varian watched you, as you ran over to a blonde girl, with a green and black outfit. She had blue/green eyes, an eye-patch for the right eye, and looked to be around the same age as you and him. 

Varian looked at the other person, while you were busy hugging the girl "Em", and he instantly gulped. It was a boy, around 17-18 years old. He was pale and blonde like the girl but had glasses. He wore brown and black armor, and had two long swords on his back, and.. Claws? What the- 

He didn't look friendly at all. In fact, he had such a stone-cold expression, that when he took a step towards you, Varian was so close to grab your arm and run away with you, as fast as his legs would carry him. But then he burst into a kind heart-warming smile. "We didn't think we would see you so soon, (Y/n)!" He spoke, crossing his arms. 

Varian saw you letting go of Willow and smiled. "It's nice to see you too Jack"

Varian crossed his arms. Jack? So these were your best friends? 

You continued. "And yeah, there were some..." You looked at him, and he winded his eyes. Earlier you had suggested getting into Argo's layer, by a hidden entrance in some sort of lake, but Varian had refused - and that was why the two of you now were here with Willow and Jack, so they could help you enter the villain base by other methods. In other words, it was Varians's fault. Were you going to tell them? That he was some lame alchemist, with a fear of water?

"-Change of plans." You finished, and Varian sighed in relief. "Varian and I now need to go through the villain base, in order to get to Argo."

Willow rose her brows, right before giving Varian a judging elevator-look. "Oh, okay. I mean, you getting in won't be a problem, but..." She spoke, pointing at Varian. "Your friend might seem a little too suspicious."

Varian looked down at himself. It was right that he didn't look like any of you. His clothes were way more formal and... Non-criminal-like. He looked up and laughed awkwardly. 

"We can quickly change that though," Jack spoke with his deep and playful voice, clapping his hands. Willow smiled and began walking towards Varian, whose heart now pounded rapidly. 

He couldn't get himself to do anything when Willow took a grip of him and pulled him over to Jack. 

"Guys, what are you-" He heard you ask, but no one answered. 

Willow pushed Varian so hard that he fell onto the ground. He looked up and saw Jack and Willow smiling down at him. He was repeatedly telling himself not to cry.  

"Guys, what's the point of this?" You laughed awkwardly. 

Jack crossed his arms. "Oh, we'll just help him out. You know, so he doesn't have this... Non-villain-Aura surrounding him. He has to act like one of us."

Varian tried to gain eye-contact with you, so he could pray for help, but you had your eyes closed. "You're not gonna sing that song are you?" You sounded tired, but Varian could tell there was a playful tone in your voice.

That song? What?  

-Start the song now!-

Also, guys, if you've watched the music video, or the movie Descendants 2 even, you should know that there's a lot of dancing in it - and I'm really bad at writing that, so just imagine the characters dancing either some badass moves or the moves in the music video, okay? Hehe :D 

Also, I would recommend slowing the music video down a bit. Unless you're a really fast reader.

Willow smirked and put a hand on Varian's shoulder. He froze. "Let me tell you something you can really trust. Everybody's got a wicked side!" She sang.

Varian tried to back away, but he walked right into Jack, who looked at him almost hungry. Willow continued. "I know you think that you can never be like us. Watch and learn, so you can get it right!"

The two took a step forward, leaving Varian to stare in awe. "You need to drag your feet!" They sang in unison. "You need to nod your head." - They nodded their heads.

"You need to lean back. Slip through the cracks." 

Varian took a look at you, who lowkey danced along. 

"You need to not care." Jack hit Varian's shoulder, smirking. "Uh, you need to not stare."

 Varian froze. (You need a whole lotta help)

Willow walked up beside Jack. "You need to not be yourself. U wanna be cool? Let me show you how. Wanna break the rules?"

"I can show you how!" You cut in, winking. 

"And once you catch this feeling!" Willow sang.

"Yeah, once you catch this feeling!" You and Jack repeated. 

"-You'll be chillin', chillin'. OoOh. Chillin' like a villain!" 

Chill- (Imagine Willow, Jack and yourself, making some really nice moves)

"Chillin like a villain!" x2 - Varian watched you dancing and smiling with your friends, and suddenly he wanted to be a part of that. 

"Hey!" Your bracelet fell off while dancing, and Varian picked it up. (Chillin like, chillin like, a villain!)

Then Willow snatched it from him."You draw attention when you act like that." She sighed. "Let us teach you how to disappear!" 

Jack and Willow examined Varian closely. "You look like you would lose a fight to an alley cat."

Ouch.

"You gotta be wrong to get it right round here!" Willow sang, walking foreward. 

"You need to watch your back." They looked back "You need to creep around."  

"You need to slide real smooth. Don't make a sound." - they slid real smooth, without making a sound. 

"And if you want it, take it!" They made a high jump-kick "And If you can't take it, break it!"    Varian tried to do one too, but he fell. 

"And if you care about your health." Jack sighed. 

Willow rolled her eyes. "Seriously, you need to not be yourself!.."

"You wanna be cool?" You spoke, walking over to Varian. "Let me show you how. Wanna break the rules?"

You offered him a hand, and Varian took it. "I can show you how. And once you catch this feeling~"

Varian blushed. "Yeah, once I catch this feeling?.."  

"You'll be chillin', chillin'. OooOOh. Chillin' like a villain." Now once again, the three of you did some really nice job punching the air intact with the beat.  Varian even tried to join.

(Chill. Chillin' like a villain.) x2

Then Varian stopped, and sighed. "I really want to be bad a lot. And I'm givin' it my best shot. But it's hard being what I'm not."

"Well, if you don't, you're gonna get us caught." Jack pointed in. 

Willow joined. "He's right, we gotta stay low-key. Now show us how bad you can be."

"Like this?" Varian tried to ask innocently showing Willow your bracelet, that he had somehow taken back. "Like this?" He threw a bottle of pink liquid at Jack's feet, making sticky pink glue explode near his feet. He was stuck. "Oh, yeah, I think I got this. Let's go, I'm ready to rock this."

(And I ain't gonna thank you for your help. I think I found the words to myself). 

While Varian seemed to have fun, you crossed your eyes staring shocked at him. How did he-

"You wanna be cool? Let me show you how!" Willow grinned, giving Varian a high-five. "You need to break the rules! I can show you how! And once you catch this feeling-"

"And once you catch this feeling!" Varian and Jack laughed along. You rose your brows. 

"You'll be chillin', chillin'. OoOOOh! Chillin' like a villain." - Now it was Varian's turn, to show you some tricks. And you noticed, that right then and there he seemed a little bit different. 

(Chillin' like a villain!) x4

Then you got over your shocked state, and you smiled wickedly before joining the three.
