3. H E L L R A I S E R

The little black dress hugs every inch of my body, elongating my legs further and showing a little too much of my thighs. Maybe I shouldn't have confirmed my attendance a little too early, but what other activities can I think of that would keep me productive?

Jaden suggested we take her car and leave for the party so the amount of time spent on beautifying ourselves wouldn't go down the drain. We pull into the driveway of an enormous house, no longer feeling the bile rising up to my throat as I get out of Jaden's car. I no longer feel nauseous.

The bottom line is my roommate is a terrible driver.

"I'm hoping you did not get a warrant" a boy with shaggy, light brown hair accompanied with an excited grin on his face exclaims, swooping Jaden into a hug. "You look so beautiful tonight, you always do," He kisses her tenderly like he hasn't seen her for ages and slings a protective arm around her shoulder, turning to acknowledge my presence.

"Is this the girl you were talking about earlier?" he asks, green eyes darkening with skepticism, eyeing me from head to toe. Jaden blushes with embarrassment. "That's Ivy who moved in not so long ago."

"I'm pretty sure she can speak for herself, " the boy tersely says, extending his hand for a shake. "Reed, cool meeting you."

We are addressed with loud, heavy music blaring through the amplifiers the minute we step inside the living room. On the left-hand side, a group of boys joined by some girls are playing a game of what looks like beer pong, while on the other side of the room another group is starting to do body shots off one another.

To say I am apprehensive would be an understatement. There's even a slip'n'slide at the backyard which I can see through the French doors amidst the crowd in the living room. I'm starting to get the impression Reed doesn't like me so much.

"I'm going to go and get us some drinks, will be back." Once Reed disappears into the crowd, Jaden shoots me an apologetic look. "Listen, reed does not hate you. He's not that difficult to get along with when it comes to meeting new people."

A sympathetic smile cracks on Jaden's face.
Its like she knew what I had been thinking all along and I feel sorry for her to be apologizing on Reed's behalf. But truth be told, I don't blame that guy. If I were him, I would be giving everyone a hard time, especially when it comes to finding out what their intentions with my girlfriend-as the opposite gender- would be.

"He tends to be overprotective about the people he cares about. He was like that when he and Chace met for the first time."

My heart swells at the mere mention of his name. I am suddenly curious to know if Chace is here. Like any other desperate fifteen year old, my eyes search the living room to see if he might be here somewhere. Five feet away from where Jaden and I are positioned, is Chace whose expression is that of pure boredom as some girls try their best on getting lucky tonight. He is wearing a grey shirt and black jeans that are torn around the knee area, a cigarette dangling in between his fingers. Instantly he glances, aiming those marvellous aquamarine eyes right at me, taking the whole "The boy your mother told you to stay away from" to a whole new level.

There is something highly intriguing about the intensity of his gaze, the way he's looking at me making my stomach crumple and pivot with suspense. I don't even like the arrogant bastard in the first place.

"Before you moved in, let's just say I didn't have the best of experiences with the past roommates I previously had. That explains why-"

"Why what?" Reed interrupts returning with three bottles, one tucked underneath his arm. "Nothing, was just talking about Cherry in general." Jaden quickly changes the subject, opening her beer bottle taking a sip.

"Oh yeah. It is after all a place where news travels fast. You have no other option but to be careful. Is there anything else I can get?" Reed motions at the untouched bottle in my hand. Tilting my head back and raising it to my lips, I don't bother remembering the series of promises I made to myself before I got in Jaden's car.

My hips sway with the rhythm of the music and everything is starting to swirl, looking like a Vincent Van Gogh painting. It is hard to believe that the guy is not alive, since the evidence in front of me says it all.

I don't get on what the joke is or what is it in general that is making me laugh so hard right now, nevertheless my mind refuses to ruminate. The music changes and I flail my hands in the air bringing them to the back of my neck, pushing a lump of hair behind.

"You are a threat to mankind" A pair of hands find their way to my waist panic slowly starting to settle in. "You know that right?"

"I may be out of my element but I think you should back off," I spit, roughly shoving the creep away from me.

His mouth curls  into a macabre smile, running his tongue across his lips. His nails dig into the contents of my wrist, sloppily grabbing hold of it . His breath reeks of alcohol as he pulls me closer towards him.

"Come on, sunshine. Don't be such a pansy. Just one dance and I'll let you go."

Breaking free from his grip , I ram my fist to the side of his jaw using both my hands to bring his neck face down, my knee instantly connecting with the place where it hurts the most.

I make sure the impact is hard enough to teach the creep a lesson he will never forget. He stumbles backward letting out an angry grunt. I need to find Jaden and the get the absolute hell away from this nut-hole .

"You snarky little bitch..." The guy snarls , spitting out a broken tooth. "You will pay for this!" The music stops playing and everyone swivels to look at the commotion that is being caused.

He lurches forward darting towards where I am positioned.

C H A C E' S P. O. V

It isn't mandatory for me to go there and introduce myself again. I had better things to do rather than present a fake ass smile with a fake ass personality, pretending to be one of the Teletubbies.

To hell with that shit. I bring the bottle of beer to my lips and take a swig, glancing elsewhere and freeze. She's seated next to Jaden wearing an LBD that fits her so perfectly, I feel my dick jolt up as I want to sweep her off her feet and push her against the wall while having those long legs wrapped around my waist.

Slow down, man.

"Check that out," Dylan Carson says , opening another beer container which I think might be his fifth. I feel my cheeks tighten with irritation. "Is that the lass who just moved in with Park?"

Dylan is more than just a motherfucking valleynutt. If I had my AK forty seven with me right now, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot the life out of him. "Sophia would be happy to know," I mumble a little too loudly, not giving a shit. "Not that it should be any of your business, asshole," Dylan splutters unintelligibly, struggling to find his balance. "You lost your chance, Lambert. It's my night."

"Don't you fucking touch her," I snarl, striding towards him and staring him down. Dylan laughs. "It's my house, shitface. My house, my fucking rules. You don't get to tell me what to do."

He pokes a finger at my chest, taking another sip of his beer and tossing it in the trash. My eyes never leave the back of his head, finding my brows furrowing with rage as I follow him. I don't know why I said that and I don't know why I care. What I really want to find out is what was Jaden thinking, to bring her roommate dressed up like that, where every idiot can see her ass?

Watching him head towards the dance floor, I see Blondie oscillating her hips metrically, a sensuous smile on her lips. She looks so alive, I couldn't help but smirk with levity. Until Carson shows up and grabs her ass, I lightly shove the redhead away from me who was grinding behind me earlier. I stop as Blondie brings Carson's face down and hitting him straight in the balls.

Major orgasm Major turn on. Jaden's roomie got an attitude with moves.

Dylan spits out a broken tooth stumbling backwards, everyone stopping to look at the commotion that's happening. Before he could lay one of his dirty fingers on her, I run and throw him to the ground, my knuckles penetrating through his deranged nose hearing the satisfying crunch of his cartilage snap.
