𝟐𝐱𝟐𝟐

After being informed about Elijah betraying us and running away with Klaus, I made sure to tell my parents all the drama that they missed. Also, I had a freaking sister!! Which I scolded them about. How could they not tell me? I mean what did they expect me to never see her or find out about her, I mean she has my face! We were bound to cross paths eventually. Anyway, I was grounded of course, confined within the walls of my house. I hadn't seen the others since yesterday at Jenna's funeral. I know everyone was dealing the only way they knew how, little Gilbert and Elena had each other. Caroline had dealt with Tyler turning into a wolf and her mom knowing about her being a vampire. Bonnie still had her magic and couldn't kill Klaus because of Elijah. Damon was still dying. Not sure about Ric or Steven.

My phone buzzing pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked at my caller ID to see none other than Steven calling me.

"Mira. I need your help."

"I don't know if I could be any help seeing as I am grounded for till college according to my parents." I responded.

"I found a cure for Damon, Bonnie helped me. I have to talk to Klaus and I need you to come with me."

"You're joking right?! Stefan he'll kill you! Yeah you'll find a cure for Damon but what's to say Klaus will give it to you without something in return. What exactly do you want me to do?"

"I just need someone I trust who can back me and you're one of my best friends Amira. I wouldn't ask for this if I knew you wouldn't help me. I owe Damon this."

"Alright well, this better be fast because I can't be gone for too long. You just have to come get me. Also, you owe me food for the rest of your life!" I exclaimed while I packed a few daggers into my pockets as well as brought my bow and some arrows just in case. Yeah it can't kill Klaus, but it'll hurt like hell.

"Alright deal. I'm on my way to you." Stefan laughed before hanging up.

I quickly grabbed a chocolate chip muffin and some strawberries and heard the doorbell ringing. I ran to the door and looked out of the peep hole to see Stefan standing there. I opened the door with my mouth full as he laughed at me before coming in.

"Mira you knew I was coming." He chuckled seeing me lace up my combat boots in a rush. (Her outfit for this episode is up above!)

"Well you just called like five seconds ago, I thought you'd be generous and give me like 5 minutes max! Stressing me out and I've got to eat!" I rambled defensively as he just laughed watching me. He sucks.

"Alright let's go!" I exclaimed before Stefan and I walked out the door and he sped us over to Alarics apartment to strike a deal with Klaus for Damon.

Stefan and I walked through the door to see Katherine sitting there on the bed. Just when I thought I escaped her.

"Hello Katherine." Stefan sighed.

"Thought she'd be dead already. Well hoping." I muttered under my breath. Stefan smacked me on the arm while I threw my arms in the air.

"Two days, I've been waiting. I'm supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now. He's supposed to be dead." Katherine let out angrily. I rolled my eyes at her behavior. She just always managed to annoy the crap out of me.

"We ran into complications." Stefan sighed, already fed up with the conversation.

"Complications?!"

"Doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" Stefan walked closer to Katherine. She sped him against the wall and wrapped her hand around his neck while I quickly drew an arrow about to release it.

"I will put an arrow in your skull." I stated carefully before she shushed me.

I looked to my right to see Klaus and Elijah walk through the door while still holding up my now and arrow.

"Klaus you're back. Look who decided to come for a visit." Katherine said as she let go of Stefan while I put my bow down.

"You just keep popping up don't you?"

"Not by choice don't worry." I informed him as he smirked looking towards me.

"Amira James. My favorite little witch." Klaus commented as he stared at me before looking back at Stefan. I just scoffed at Klaus in response. Seeing as he's practically holding my sister hostage who I haven't had a chance to really meet.

"I need your help, for my brother." Stefan told Klaus as Elijah just watched the scene unfold before him. What the hell was he doing here anyway.

"Well, whatever it is, he's gonna have to wait a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." Klaus informed us before walking past Stefan, Katherine and I.

"You understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here." Elijah interjected as he and Stefan had a stare off.

"Speaking of family, Klaus where's my sister I know you know where she is seeing as she's your little puppet." I asked him as he turned around to meet my eyes. Stefan and Katherine looked at me confused not knowing I had a sister. Hell, I didn't even know until yesterday.

"All in due time little witch." Klaus said. Elijah then opened his mouth which cut our conversation short.

"My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." Elijah continued, locking eyes with Stefan.

"And so I shall." Klaus stated from behind Elijah before daggering him. Elijah let out a loud scream as I looked at the ground, trying to not let it get to me. Klaus was telling Elijah to shush as he was groaning before Elijah dropped to the floor.

Klaus then sped over to Stefan pinning him against the wall. That sure as hell caught me off guard.

"Now, what am I gonna do with you?" Klaus asked Stefan rhetorically before stabbing him with a stake.

"No!" I screamed rushing to help Stefan before Katherine grabbed me by the waist holding me back.

"Let go of me!" I gritted through my teeth watching Stefan on the floor in pain.

"He'll kill you!" Katherine retorted in my ear.

"The hell do you care!" I yelled at her.

"Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart . The slightest little movement and you're dead." Klaus told Stefan as he looked at me in agony. The lights started to flicker as tears streamed down my face.

"Amira don't!" Stefan groaned.

"I feel even a flicker of your magic and I will end his life and Damon's along with it." Klaus warned me as Katherine held onto me tighter telling me to relax in my ear.

"He's just trying to help his brother." Katherine spoke, defending him.

"The witches said you had a cure. Make me a deal. Just give me the cure and I'll do whatever you want. Just leave Amira out of it." Stefan begged Klaus as he held onto him for support so he wouldn't fall to the floor.

"What no!" I yelled at him.

Klaus then ripped the dagger out of Stefan and let him fall to the floor.

"Klaus please! Don't kill him okay! We haven't asked you for anything, please just do this." I begged him as I watched my best friend groaning on the floor, not being able to do anything about it.

"Trouble is sweetheart, I don't know if he'd be any good to me the way he is now. He is just shy of useless." Klaus answered me softly as I saw him pouring blood in a glass for himself.

Katherine let go of me after I calmed down a bit. Klaus then walked over to Stefan and crouched down to his level seeing as he was on the floor.

"I heard about this one vampire, crazy bloke, always on and off the wagon for decades. When he was off, he was magnificent. 1917, he went into  Monterey and wiped out an entire migrant village. A true ripper." Klaus reminisced as he held eye contact with Stefan who's head seem to go down in shame. Was Klaus talking about Stefan? I looked over at Katherine to see she hadn't looked surprised so she had known exactly what Klaus was talking about. 

"Sound familiar?" Klaus questioned Stefan as he took a sip of his drink.

"I haven't been that way in a very long time." Stefan responded softly making eye contact with Klaus.

"Well, that's the vampire I can make a deal with. That is the kind of talent that I can use when I leave this town. As well as yours miss James." Klaus paused informing Stefan and I. I was not down for that count me out.

"You're kidding right? You just held me captive a few days ago and now you want me to go on a trip with you out of town. You're the reason I am grounded till for college! Not to mention I've already missed enough school as it is because of you, and now you want me to waste away my summer!" I yelled at him in frustration. He chuckled before stating those were his terms.

"Well they're crappy ones!" I exclaimed before I went to grip onto my hair in agitation. This man is insufferable, how the hell did his family deal with?!

"Katerina come here." Klaus held out his hand, waiting for Katherine to put hers in his palm. Before we all knew it, he grabbed her hand and bit it as she yelled out no in pain. Stefan and I looked at each other wide eyed. He then let go of her hand as she looked at the bite and shook her head in disbelief and fear. Klaus then bit his wrist and shoved it in Katherine's mouth unwillingly. We all watched as her bite disappeared, realizing Klaus's blood was the cure. Of course! Great! Damon the shit you are going to be in when we get out of this!

"You want your cure? There it is." Klaus said as he wiped the blood off his mouth. Damn that was hot. No! Amira shut up! He's holding you hostage again!

"Your blood is the cure." Stefan voiced the revelation out loud.

"Of course it is." I sighed.

"Gotta love mother nature." Klaus stated cockily.

"Not really fond of her this very moment." I muttered as Klaus smirked my way before he wrapped his shoulder around Stefan.

"Now let's talk, you and I." Klaus guided Stefan over to the table in the kitchen while Katherine and I sat in the room next to them.

"Why the hell are you here?!" Katherine whisper-yelled at me, grabbing ahold of my arm in the process. I glared at her before responding.

"Are you seriously about to lecture me right now?! Because I could go without it!" I exclaimed as I released my arm from her grip.

"You're the idiot that keeps putting herself in these life threatening situations! You're smarter than that."

"It's called helping my friends Katherine and you wouldn't know anything about that seeing as you have none! Also, stop touching me!" I yelled at her before shoving her out of my face. She then grabbed my wrists before pinning my hands against the wall.

"Shove me again and I will kill you. I am trying to help you."

"Sure you are. You don't care about anybody but yourself and history has proven that time and time again." I gritted through my teeth as I struggled against her hold seeing as she had her body weight against my own on top of her pinning me against the wall. What's up with villains around here and pinning their enemies against walls?

"You don't know anything about me so stop acting like it! You're acting like a child! You're gonna get yourself killed because you think that you're ready for the big leagues, news flash Amira you aren't! So stay a kid and stay out of this life!" She yelled at me, staring in my eyes. She looked sincere, but I wasn't buying it and like hell I'm not ready for the big leagues.

"Are you done?" I asked her bored of this conversation. I needed to hear what Klaus was doing with Stefan.

"Are you?"

"No, and I won't be for a long time. If you knew me at all, you'd know that I will always fight for my friends and my family and Stefan is one of those people." I answered. She let go of me slowly, one of her hands lingering atop my arm for a bit longer than usual before letting it slip completely. I pushed myself off the wall to see Stefan drinking a bunch of blood bags and they were all scattered along the floor. I was going to rush over to him until Klaus stopped me with his arm. I hated seeing him like this. It's like he was in a bottle with himself and one side was winning, the one he didn't want to win.

"You're very cooperative. It's almost as if you're enjoying it." Klaus smirked as he dropped another blood bag for Stefan to drink. Stefan looked at me with tears in his eyes as I had tears in my own. He was in pain. All of his hard work, just going down the drain. Lexi would've hated this.

"No more. Not until you give me the cure and let Amira go." Stefan heaved defiantly. At that, Klaus's smirk dropped. I sure as hell wasn't leaving Stefan.

"Not until we make a deal. It's your choice Stefan. You can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls or you can embrace why you truly are..leave town with me...and save your brother life. Also, Amira James will be coming with us whether you like it or not." Klaus gave him an ultimatum, while also letting him know that he really doesn't have a choice. Klaus held out another blood bag in his hand. Stefan grabbed it aggressively out of Klaus's hand and ripped it open with his teeth before sinking into it.

"That's the spirit." Klaus smirked, sounding proud of his work before standing up and turning to look at Katherine and I.

"Sweetheart, take this over to Damon and come right back." Klaus compelled Katherine while holding her throat in one hand and giving her the cure in the other.

"Wait wait! Klaus let me go with her! I'll make sure she gets him the cure and I'll come right back. You know I'll come back for him! I've been nothing but obedient, please. This'll give me a chance to write my parents a note saying goodbye and I can pack my things and we can go, okay?" I pleaded as I looked at Stefan on the ground and back to Klaus. I was crying in front of him practically begging him. I would be able to see Damon before I left, tie up loose ends with my parents, and have clothes to wear for where've we were going.

Klaus then let go of Katherine and walked up to me and pushed my hair behind my ear as I was practically hysterical.

"I am trusting you on this little witch. Defy me and I will kill everyone you love including your sister." He whispered threateningly staring at me in the eyes as my tears drenched my face. I looked at Stefan who's tears had streamed down his face while his mouth was covered in blood. I looked back at Klaus before Katherine grabbed me and sped me to the boarding house.

When we got to the boarding house. I couldn't walk in. I started to hyperventilate and sob uncontrollably. My chest felt tight and I couldn't move as I slid down the door outside. Katherine hurriedly rushed to my side before I hit the ground. I was having a panic attack. Definitely not the best time, my best friend was dying and I was being a little bitch.

This whole situation is just now hitting me. I was going to be away from my parents again, for their safety. I was going on field trip with a homicidal maniac who had it out for my friends. My best friend is practically breaking his sobriety because of said homicidal maniac and I had to watch and do nothing or I would've died. I shouldn't have came with Stefan to Ric's apartment but I knew that it would have eaten me up with guilt if I left Stefan to fend for himself. I mean it wouldn't have made a difference, I couldn't do anything. Man, this 17 year old need some therapy.

"It's okay it's okay. You're fine. I need you to breathe Amira. Come on! You're the strongest person I know! You can fight this!" She yelled holding my face in her hands as my eyes held nothing but fear. I was dry heaving and gripping the shit out of her arms. I hated panic attacks. I haven't had them in a while. Usually my parents help me, but they aren't here and Katherine seemed to be out of her element yet helping me just fine. She then started to breathe in and out and told me to do the same.

After she calmed me down she asked me if I was okay. She genuinely looked scared for me just a second ago. Who knew Katherine Pierce felt remorse or could hold any type of sympathy to anyone.

We walked in the boarding house and caught Elena kissing Damon. Hate to say I saw it coming. I heard him whisper thank you with his eyes closed before Katherine opened her mouth.

"Well it's me you should be thanking. I mean, I'm the one who brought the cure." Katherine stated snarkily as she walked to Damon. I rolled my eyes seeing as I stood right there. I walked behind her to make eye contact with Damon.

"I thought you were dead." Katherine looked at Elena.

"I was." Elena answered as I side eyed her before turning my attention back to Damon.

"Amira." Damon muttered weakly.

"Hey demon." I gave him a weak smile while tears began to pool in my eyes at his state.

"You got free." Damon said looking at Katherine as she brought the cure to his lips.

"Yep. Finally."

"And you still came here?" Damon questioned.

"I owed you one." Katherine stated while patting his face and stepping away from him.

"Where's Stefan?" Elena asked us looking between me and Kat.

"Are you sure you care?" Katherine questioned. I cracked a smile at that and shook my head.

"Where is he?" Elena questioned Katherine more firmly.

"He and Mira over here, are paying for this. He gave himself over to Klaus and Mira was apart of the deal. I wouldn't expect him anytime soon." I glared at Katherine for disclosing that seeing as Elena now looked at me like I possessed two heads.

"What do you mean, 'he gave himself over and Mira was apart of the deal'. Mira what is she talking about?" Elena questioned me looking at me in shock.

"I told you not to call me that, only my friends call me Mira. Also, we wanted Damon to be safe and alive. So Stefan and I, mainly Stefan, sacrificed everything for him, including you." I sighed tiredly.

"It's a good thing you have Damon to keep you company. Goodbye Elena." Katherine commented with a smirk on her face as she walked to the door and waited for me. I was about to follow her when Damon called for me.

"Mira, don't go." Damon pleaded.

"I have to. That was the deal. I'm glad your alive Damon." I smiled his way sadly before hugging him and walking over by Kat.

"Oh. It's okay to love them both. I did." Katherine stated glibly before tossing Elena the bottle of Klaus's blood before grabbing my hand and speeding me to my house.

I was surprised Katherine knew where I lived. Kind of creepy but she's evil so I guess it makes sense. I let go of her hand as I looked in the driveway to see my parents weren't home. I forgot it was there date night tonight.

I opened the door as Katherine watched me walk through my door.

"Aren't you gonna invite me in?" Kat smirked.

"What so when you're annoyed with me you can come back and strangle me in my sleep. Yeah I don't think so." I scrunched up my eyebrows at her before rushing to grab all of my things.

"I just talked you out of hyperventilating yourself to death. If I wanted you dead you would be, Mira." She yelled my way. As I stopped what I was doing and walked by the door to make eye contact with her.

"What about my parents Kat? And while you did help me a lot tonight, and I sincerely thank you, I don't trust you. You've hurt Stefan, Caroline, and Bonnie more times than I can count." I told her honestly before continuing to pack my two duffel bags and another big bag for my face cleanser and my body washes. After finishing that up, I got started on writing my parents a note essentially telling them sorry, that I love them as well to tell them not to look for me. I needed them to know that those trainings prepared me for things like this, at least physically, I wasn't really sure how I would take this mentally or emotionally. I left the note on the counter, grabbed my things, my gear too, and walked out the door. I locked the door behind me before sighing and turning toward Kat who looked bored out of her mind.

"You sure about this?" Katherine asked me, sounding worried about my safety.

"Careful Kat, I'll start to think you care about me." I smirked at her while she rolled her eyes.

"Don't fool yourself. Let's go, Klaus is waiting for you." She stated coolly as I grabbed my stuff off the ground, struggling to do so, as she grabbed onto me and sped me to Klaus and Stefan. I dropped my stuff on the ground to see Stefan standing there with blood dripping down his mouth as his vampire face was put on display. I heard a woosh behind me, indicating Kat got the hell out of dodge.

Klaus then turned around to see me and had a proud smirk adorning his face as Stefan looked at me.

"Now we can go." Klaus stated.

alright folks! that is all i have for you from season two! it's officially over! amira got herself in a bit of a bind and now has to go on this expedition with klaus and stefan. she went through a lot this chapter and i hate putting her through that, but it will make her stronger! did you all notice that the villains lowkey like mira. katherine has even taken to calling her by her nickname. don't be fooled though, katherine and amira have a long way to go before they can even acknowledge they like one another, they got a few more up's and downs to go. do you think katherine secretly cares about amira? do you think she'll stab her in the back? how do amira's parents feel about her leaving? will klaus go easy on her? so many questions. don't worry, they'll be answered in act two, aka, season three!!! I am very excited to share it with you all and im ready for you guys to see Amira's development! see you soon!!!
