Kelsey's POV

2013, Malibu, California

I sat in a room at home with my homeschooled teacher. I wasn't really paying attention to anything she said for the past 3 hours. I had been thinking of something else. There's been something going on with me recently. Bizarre things. Don't know how or why it was but it was weird. I've been getting more "visits" from my mom and have been seeing more "magic" things happen around me. I also am still trying to figure out the whole scream thing from last year and why Loki mention something about a banshee.

I was broke out of my thoughts when my teacher said something, "Kelsey, are you listening?"

I looked up at her and she had a strict expression on her face. "I'm sorry...I, uh, just have a lot on my mind." I replied and she frowned slightly.

"Let's get off earlier today, okay? I'll tell your dad. You did great, Kelsey. You're getting better at multiplying decimals." She said and I nodded before she told me to leave. I got up before she went to tell my dad everything before the teacher left.

I sighed before going to the living room and turning on the tv, hoping there was something to watch. An episode of Teen Wolf showed up and I smiled slightly before watching it.

Suddenly, the tv footage glitched and showed a weird symbol. A man suddenly popped onto the tv.

"Some people call me a terrorist, I consider myself a teacher. America, ready for another lesson. In 1864 in Sand Creek Colorado the U.S. military waited till the friendly Cheyenne braves all gone hunting, waited to attack and slaughter their families left behind, and claim their land. Thirty-nine hours ago the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait was attacked. I...I...I did that. A quaint military church filled with wives and children, of course. The soldiers were out on maneuvers, the braves were away. President Ellis, you continue to resist my attempts to educate you, sir. And now, you've missed me again. You know who I am, you don't know where I am, and you'll never see me coming."

The tv went back to Teen Wolf as if nothing happened and I looked in confusion before shutting it off. What the hell was that about? Who the hell is this guy?

I sat in my dad's lab trying to fix a broken toy robot that I found. My mom gave it to me when I was two. I turned around the screws with a screwdriver when I saw my dad pick up something and answer a call.

"Hello?" Happy's voice said.

"Is this forehead of security?" My dad questioned making me chuckle when I saw Happy showing just his forehead and eyes.

"What? You know, look, I got a real job. What do you want? I'm working, I got something going on here." Happy explained.

"What? Harassing interns?"

"Let me tell you something, you know what happened when I told people I was Iron Man's body guard? They would laugh in my face." Happy said making Dad laugh. I let out a small laugh too.

"I had to leave while I still had a shred of dignity. Now I got a real job, I'm watching Pepper." He continued.

"What's going on? Fill me in." Dad ordered sounding like a very overprotective boyfriend, which he kinda was.

"For real?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, so she's meeting up with this scientist. Rich guy, handsome." Happy started.

"Right."

"I couldn't make his face at first, right? You know I'm good with faces." I heard Happy say before unscrewing another rusty screw. "Oh yeah, yeah. You're the best." My dad muttered.

"Yeah. Well, so I run his credentials, I make him Aldrich Killian. We actually met the guy back in... where were we in '99? The science conference?" Happy explained and looked up. My mom was there that day with Dad.

"Um...Switzerland."

"Right, right. Exactly."

"Killian? Who the hell is Aldrich Killian?" I questioned before holding the screwdriver in my mouth to grab new screws.

"Watch your language." My dad pointed to me.

"That's not even a curse word." I replied.

"No I don't remember that guy." My dad said to Happy.

"Of course you don't. He's not a blond with a big rack. At first it was fine, they were talking business, but now it's like getting weird. He's showing her his big brain." Happy explained.

I widened my eyes in confusion, "His what?" Dad questioned.

"Big brain, and she likes it. Here, let me show you. Hold on. See?" Happy said before holding up the tablet to show Pepper and Killian. But all we saw was himself.

"Look at what? You watching them? Flip the screen and then we can get started." My dad told him.

"I'm not a tech genius like you. Just...just trust me, get down here." Happy replied and I rolled my eyes.

"It's not that hard. Flip the screen, then we can see what they're doing." I told the man as I stood next to my dad.

"She's right, just flip the screen." Dad ordered.

"I can't! I don't know how to flip the screen! Don't talk to me like that anymore. You're not my boss." Happy argued. As he was talking, Dad used his tablet to look up Aldrich and find his photo. "Alright, I don't work for you. Now I don't trust this guy. He's got another guy with him, he's shifty."

"Relax."

"Seriously?"

"I'm just asking you to secure the perimeter. Tell him to go out for a drink or something?" My dad said. Was he serious? This guy could be flirting with his girl and he doesn't care.

"You know what? You should take more of an interest in what's going on here. This woman... this woman's the best thing that ever happened to you, and you...you're just ignoring her." Happy explained and I looked at my dad nodding agreeing.

He gave me a look before saying, "A giant brain?"

"Yeah, there's a giant brain, there's a shifty character. I'm gonna follow this guy. I'm gonna run his plates and if it gets rough, so be it." Happy said and I rolled my eyes going back to the toy robot.

"I miss you, Happy." Dad said making me slightly frown.

"Yeah, I miss you too. But the way it used to be. Now you're off with the 'superfriends', I don't know what's going on with you anymore. The world's getting weird..." Happy stated making me tilt my head before aggressively pulling out a screw in the robot.

"Hey, I...I'd hate to cut you off. Do you have your taser on you?" Dad questioned.

"Why?"

"I think there's a gal in HR who's trying to steal some printer ink, you should probably go over there and zap her." Dad explained before putting the tablet in his wine fridge and closing before walking off with Happy still on call.

"Yeah, nice." Happy mutters before hanging up.

I saw my dad walk over to me before pouring some wine into a glass. "What are you doing?" He questioned.

"Trying to fix this stupid robot! But every single screw I used doesn't fit or doesn't work!" I exclaimed slamming the screwdriver on the table.

"Your mom gave you that for your 2nd birthday." Dad said and I nodded, "I know and now it's broken."

"Have you tried the corkscrew?" He asked and I nodded.

"This one?" He helped a bronze colored screw and I nodded again. "Yes."

"How about...uh....this one?" He held up a silver one and I groaned. "Yes I tried every single one you have in this lab. None of them work!"

Dad hummed before walking over to something under his desk. He grabbed something out of a drawer and handed it to me. It was a golden screw that looked new and like it was just bought.

I stared at it and then him before grabbing it. I placed the screw inside of the robot's back before screwing it in. I then made the robot stand up and turned it on. It started to move and talk like it was brand new. I laughed in excitement. "Yes! Oh hell yes!" I exclaimed noticing my dad smiling at me.

"Good job kiddo." He laughed before walking off. I picked up the robot and danced around in excitement. I fixed my first ever thing....the Stark way.

Hello everyone!!! I'm so sorry I've been gone so long!! A lot has been going on in my life and it's been insane! First I started school back in September and it's been kinda crazy, since it's my senior year and I'm trying to prepare for college. I also have been focusing on my mental health lately as well as focus on myself. Also recently on Halloween, I sprained my ankle and I've been in so much pain. But I'm doing a lot better now and much more happy. I finally had the motivation to write this next chapter and I'm so glad I'm back into it!

This chapter was super hard to write cause I had writer's block half the time but.....

I really want to show Kelsey's relationship with her father more because I feel like if Tony had a kid (before Endgame), he would be very close to them. Also Kelsey needs the parent love since she only has Tony left. Also Kelsey becoming a little mechanic like her dad is adorable to me so I had to do it.

But anyways I've been going on for a minute so I hope you enjoyed this chapter and more is coming soon!! I promise this time, for real!! A new chapter will probably be updated tomorrow.
