I had walked into the main control room with Fury. My father and Steve had been sitting there.

I looked so bad at the moment. I had a gash on my head that most likely needed stitching. I had dust covering my face for the explosion and I had tears down my cheeks.

A medical lady had come up to me as I walked in, "Miss Stark, let me get that for you." She pulled me to a table.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." I informed her, not wanting to be touched right now.

Fury motioned her to back off and I saw my dad looking at me with worry.

Maria Hill stood to the side while Fury pulled out a handful of cards.

"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. Guess he never did get you to sign them." Fury scattered them onto the table. Some were covered in blood making me cringe. "We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, location of the cube, Banner, Thor. I got nothing for you. Lost my one good eye. Think I had that coming."

Fury made his way around the table to Steve and Dad.

"Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on the number though, because I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, Stark knows this, called the Avengers Initiative."

Fury reached for a chair between Dad and Steve. "The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes."

Dad stood and walked out. "Well, it's an old fashioned notion."

I followed my dad out a couple of seconds after he stepped out.

About an hour or so passed by and I changed my clothes and finally got my head checked out. After, I changed, I shut off the light and walked out the room.

I found myself where they had kept Loki and where Coulson died. The glass cage was gone and the huge door that was under it was shut. I sat on the edge and looked down.

Phil didn't deserve this. Loki was a complete psychopath for doing this. Thor was gone but probably still alive and Banner was nowhere to be seen.

"I heard footsteps behind me and Dad walked in.

"You okay sweetie?" He leaned against the railing.

"No." I sighed and chewed on my fingernails.

"I don't think this is the best room to be in, right now." He looked over to the wall where Phil's blood was.

"He didn't deserve to die." I muttered.

"I know." He sighed as Steve walked in.

I looked over and saw him look towards my dad.

There was a moment of silence before Steve said, "Was he married?" He looked at Dad.

"No. There was a uh- cellist, I think." Dad stood up straight.

"I think he cared more about work." I brought my head up.

"I'm sorry. He seemed like a good man." Steve softly said.

"He was an idiot." Dad butted in. Here we go.

Dad and Steve slowly moved towards each other. Another argument is about to happen. I stood up and walked away from the edge.

"Why? For believing?" Steve furrowed his brows.

"For taking on Loki alone." Dad defended himself. I was there and I could've saved him. I was his back up and all I did was cry and scream. That scream. It was haunting. Loki said a Banshee. I don't know what that means. But all that was my fault. Coulson is dead because of me.

"It's my fault." I looked down. "I was his back up and I didn't do anything to help."

"It's not your fault, Kid. If you took on Loki, you probably would have gotten hurt too." Steve turned to me. "It was his job to protect."

"He was out of his league. He should have waited. He should have-" Dad was cut off.

"Sometimes there isn't a way out, Tony." Steve said with sympathy. He was right. If I stepped in, I probably would have gotten stabbed too. I still feel bad.

"Right. How did that work for him?" Tony exclaimed.

"Is this the first time you've lost a soldier?" Steve questioned.

"We are not soldiers! I'm not marching to Fury's fife!" Dad said. I just listened to the conversation and stood quiet.

"Neither am I. He's got the same blood on his hands that Loki does, but right now we gotta put that behind us and get this done. Now Loki needs a power source, if we can put together a list-" Steve paused while Dad looked at the wall where the blood was.

"But getting a list could take a long time." I spoke up.

"He made it personal." Dad looked back at Steve.

"That's not the point." Steve exclaimed. The point is that I want to kill Loki for what he did.

"That is the point. That's Loki's point. He hit us all right where we live. Why?" Dad showed his face. The face he shows when he's thinking.

"To tear us apart." Steve spoke. Loki's plan all along was to get captured and tear us apart.

"Yeah, divide and conquer is great but- he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us, he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience." Dad theorized. "It's going to be a huge city, where are we even?" The ocean. I think we're in the ocean. But I'm not to sure.

"Right. I caught his act in Stuttgart." Steve pointed out. Oh right, Germany.

"Yeah. That's just previews, this is- this is opening night. And Loki, he's a full-tail diva. He wants flowers, he wants parades, he wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered..." Dad paused. "Son of a bitch." He than ran out the room.

"Wait, what are you talking about? What could Loki possibly be trying to-" I then thought for a minute. He wanted his name plastered in the skies. Oh my god. Stark Tower.

"Oh my god. This bitch." I muttered before following my dad out, leaving Steve. A few seconds later though, I heard Steve following me out.

"I'm coming with you, Dad." I said once I caught up to him.

"No, you're not." He sighed.

"Do you really think you can stop me? I'm already here, I might as well go. Besides, I want to see Loki fall." I crossed my arms.

My dad sighed, "Fine, just stay close."

"Deal." I said before he walked off and I paused for a moment.

I'll avenge you Coulson and I'm going to kill Loki.

Hello!! I hope you all are having a good day!! New chapter is finally here!! This chapter took a long time to write because my stupid phone was being a bitch with wifi all week. But I finally got it done.
