I went downstairs with Pepper so she can tell my dad something.

"Hey, you busy?" Tony asked Pepper when he saw her. "You mind if I send you on an errand? I need you to go to my office. You're going to hack into the mainframe and you're going to retrieve all the recent shipping manifests. This is a lock chip. This'll get you in. It's probably under Executive Files. If not, they put it on a ghost drive, in which case you need to look for the lowest numeric heading." He explained to her. She took the flash drive.

"And what do you plan to do with this information if I bring it back here?" Pepper asked him.

"Same drill. They've been dealing under the table, and I'm going to stop them. I'm going to find my weapons and destroy them." Tony told her.

"Tony, you know that I would help you with anything, but I cannot help you if you're going to start all of this again."

"There is nothing except this. There's no art opening. There is no benefit. There is nothing to sign. There is the next mission and nothing else."

"Is that so? Well then, I quit." Pepper threw the lock chip on the table. My dad and I looked at her in shock.

"You stood by my side all these years while I reaped the benefits of destruction. And now that I'm trying to protect the people that I put in harm's way, you're going to walk out?" My dad questioned.

"You're going to kill yourself, Tony. I'm not going to be a part of it." Pepper told him.

"I shouldn't be alive, unless it was for a reason. I'm not crazy, Pepper. I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right." He explained.

Pepper picked the lock drive back up, "You're all I have to you know." Pepper said making him smile a bit.

Pepper walked off and I followed her. "She's a hard one." I said to my dad before walking off.

We went to Stark's Office and Pepper sat at the computer and put the drive in. I stood behind the chair.

Something popped up on the computer talking about "Sector 16". Which belonged to Obadiah.

"What are you up to Obadiah?" Pepper muttered.

She found a video of my dad being held hostage. It was speaking a different language so she typed in "translate".

"You did not tell us that the target you paid us to kill was the great Tony Stark. As you can see, Obadiah Stane..."

"Oh my god." I muttered.

"... your deception and lies will cost you dearly. The price to kill Tony Stark has just gone up."

"So, what are we going to do about this?" We heard a voice and saw Obadiah standing in the entrance of the door. Oh no!

"I know what you're going through, Pepper, Kelsey." Obadiah walked over to a table and picked up a bottle of alcohol. "Tony. He always gets the good stuff, doesn't he?"

Pepper laughed nervously at him.

"I was so happy when he came home. It was like we got him back from the dead. Now I realize, well, Tony never really did come home, did he? He left a part of himself in that cave. Breaks my heart." Obadiah explained as he walked close to us. Pepper was able to cover the drive with a newspaper and put the screen saver on the computer.

"Well, he's a complicated person. He's been through a lot. I think he'll be all right." Pepper told him.

"You are a very rare woman. Tony doesn't know how lucky he is." Obadiah said.

"Thank you. Thanks. I'd better get back there." Pepper said as she took the newspaper with the flash drive out and we started to walk out.

"Is that today's paper?" Obadiah asked.

"Yes."

"Do you mind?" Pepper gave him the newspaper.

"Puzzle."

"Of course."

"Take care." He said before we left quickly. We went down to see Agent Coulson waiting for Pepper.

"Ms. Potts? We had an appointment. Did you forget about our appointment?" Coulson asked.

"Nope, right now. Come with me." Pepper told him as she walked quickly and he got up.

"Right now?" He asked.

"We're going to have it right now. Yeah, walk with me."

"Okay."

"I'm going to give you the meeting of your life. Your office." Pepper said as they walked off and she looked to back to see Obadiah on the top of the stairs. "Kelsey, get to your father quick." She told me.

"Okay." I ran quickly over back to the house.

When I got there, Rhodey had just came over. "Kelsey! Where's your father?" He asked.

"I don't know. I was going to check now." I replied. We walked into the house and started looking.

We found him downstairs and was on the floor looking like he was sick or something.

"Tony! You okay?" Rhodey asked as he kneeled down to him.

"Where's Pepper?" He asked.

"She's fine. She's with five agents. They're about to arrest Obadiah." Rhodey told him.

"That's not going to be enough." My dad got up.

"What do you mean that's enough?" I asked as my father got his suit.

It's about to go down y'all!! We're almost done with this and then we move onto Iron Man 2!!
