๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ย with a satisfying click, adjusting my grip on the heavy books clutched tightly against my chest. I started walking down the hallway, the sound of my footsteps echoing against the tiled floor as I made my way to class.
"He did what!?" Simona said astoundedย
"Yeah.."
"Are you sure that was him, that does not sound like Lucifer dirks.." Simona questions
"It had to be him because he was the only person who came to my house earlier and asked for pasta sauce, and besides I didn't even ordered food,"
"my mother was also sleep."
"Oh wow, I want someone to do that nice shit to me, I'm jealous Dani." She chuckled.ย
I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Was it good?"
"Didn't eat it."
"Huh?!โAre you serious? You waisted a five star meal from an Italian man!?" Simona ranted.
"I don't like pastaโ
"You're not even human." Simona strolled ahead of me.
"Simonaโ

I entered the chemistry class, my eyes scanning the room for my designated seat. I spotted the table where I had been placed during my first day here, and made my way towards it. As I sat down, I opened my backpack and took out my chemistry notebook and textbook, preparing for the class to begin.
I glanced around the room, noticing that Lucifer wasn't in his seat yet. I wondered if he was running late or if he wasn't here at all today. his absence left me curious, and I found myself wanting to ask him about the pasta he had left for me. Despite not being particularly fond of it, I still wanted to express my gratitude for his kind gesture.
My gaze shifted towards the door as Faye entered the class. She was dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit - a brown plaid flannel over a white top and paired with jeans. Her fashion sense wasn't overly feminine or masculine, instead falling somewhere in between.
As I observed Faye, memories of her past behavior started to resurface in my mind. I recalled the time she had flipped both me and Lucifer off, as well as the things that my friends, like Simona and Eric, had told me about her. Their accounts of her actions towards them had been pretty awful. I found myself contemplating her personality and wondering if there was more to her than what I had been told.
Maybe there's a reason for everything.
As Faye walked down the aisle of the room, her gaze locked onto mine. It was a stare that wasn't outright hostile, but at the same time, it held a certain level of intensity. I couldn't quite gauge her intent behind the look.
I couldn't help but feel a pang of surprise as Faye took the seat beside me, specifically the one that Lucifer usually occupied. It was unexpected, and I found myself wondering why she had chosen that seat in particular.
Despite my attempt to greet her, Faye remained unresponsive. She continued to stare straight ahead, her eyes fixated on the chalkboard at the front of the classroom. It seemed like she hadn't heard me or was choosing to ignore me completely.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of annoyance at Faye's ignorance towards me. Squinting my eyes slightly, I silently expressed my irritation at her dismissive behavior.
"Hello??"
"what the hell do you want new girl?" she finally said
"Uhโwhat's with the attitude?" I replied
Faye silently rolled her eyes and shifted her attention back to the chalkboard.
"Do you know Where's Lucifer?" I asked
"Excuse me?" She glared
"Lucifer dirks, the tall athletic Italian?" I said
She squinted her eyes, "why are you asking me!? How am I'm supposed to know where's he at?" she said
"I don't know, I thought you would have known."
After a few moments, Faye's gaze shifted back towards me and Simona. She let out a sigh, as if gathering her thoughts, before finally addressing me.
"I don't know what that Nerd had told you Dani, but it's not true."
"I've never said any of those rumours about them." Faye sighed
"I was a good friend to them both, they just didn't realize that."
The sincerity in Faye's voice was evident, and it made me wonder if there were underlying reasons for her actions. Yet, I knew that even if there was a reason behind her spreading rumors, it didn't justify the hurt that it caused.
"Faye." I said as I comforted her shoulder
Faye pulled away slightly, signaling that she needed a bit of space and time to compose herself.
I respectfully gave her some room and allowed a moment of silence between us as she attempted to regain her composure.
"If you need anyone to talk to, I'm here." I said before turning my attention back to the chalkboard.
"why are you being so friendly?"
"maybe because life is short." I said fidgeting with my bracelets on my wrist.

I sat at a table in the school cafeteria with Simona and Eric, nibbling on an apple as a snack. The familiar hustle and bustle of the lunchroom filled the air as students chatted and laughed around us.
"I need to go to the library and cop on some new books." Simona says randomly sighing.ย
"Girl, I need to go get my feet done." Eric replied.
As I sat quietly listening to Eric and Simona chatting about their plans and wishes, my attention drifted over to Faye, who had just taken her lunch and settled at a nearby table all by herself. There was something about her sitting alone that tugged at my heartstrings - a pang of empathy, perhaps.
It was like I wanted to go sit with her..
"That's what she gets." Simona noticed my eye contact towards Faye.
"I just realized that her boyfriend isn't here," Eric said
"No, he's here alright." Simona pointed
Lucifer, Jax, and the other jocks sauntered into the cafeteria, their entrance caused a ripple effect of gazes among the student body.
Almost every pair of eyes in the room was fixated on the group of athletic boys, as if they commanded a gravitational pull wherever they went.
Simona rolled her eyes sighing, "fuck my life."
"I wonder where they've been?" I said
"Probably skipping," Eric added
"I'm totally not surprised," Simona said
My gaze met Lucifer's for a brief moment as he passed by our table.
I caught him eyeing me for a fraction of a second. Simona quickly noticed the exchange, her eyes widening with intrigue. "Woah, what was that?" she whispered.
"Did y'all fuck?" Eric questions
"God, No!" I said disgustedlyย
Eric held his hands up in surrender "Just asking."
I chuckled and rolled my eyes jokingly.
"Daniโ tell Eric about your encounter with Italian boy yesterday."
"Your what!?"
"Yeah.. he knocked on my door."
"And just For literal pasta sauce!" Simona added.
"Did you let the boy in?" Eric asked
"Unt unt, Of course not."
"Missed an opportunity." Eric says
"...Opportunity of what?"
My eyes darted towards Simona as she mockingly pretended to press her index finger into her other curled circle forefinger, making a suggestive gesture.
"You two are just nasty!"

Grabbing my books I nearly jumped out of my skin as I closed my locker, only to find Lucifer standing right behind it, towering over me. My heart skipped a beat as I turned around to face him, caught off guard by his unexpected presence.
"dammi i tuoi libri, dani." He grabbed my books out of my hands.
(Translation: give me your books Dani.)
"Thank you I guess." I said awkwardly.
I followed Lucifer with my eyes as he moved ahead of me, my gaze lingering on his tall, muscular frame and impressive stature. Without realizing it, I found myself admiring his strong and masculine physique as I trailed behind him. I wondered why I was staring at him in this way - was it mere curiosity or perhaps something more?
"Where was you today?" I blurted
Lucifer halted abruptly in his tracks, pausing in mid-step as my question hung in the air. For a moment, he didn't turn to face me directly, leaving me waiting for his response.
"Practice."
"Practice?โFootball practice, Correct?
"corretto."
(Correct)
As Lucifer resumed walking, he slowed his pace slightly, allowing me to catch up and walk beside him. We continued down the hallway side by side in synchronized steps.
I noticed the puzzled looks and hushed whispers from the other students in the hallway as Lucifer and I walked together. It seemed like an unusual sight for them to witness the popular, athletic Lucifer helping someone like me with my books.
"Dani?"
We came to an abrupt halt as Faye called out my name from a few paces away. Lucifer and I turned our heads to look at her, our gazes meeting hers as she approached us.
"What the hell are you doing?!" she said
