Role of the side character (8.5/10):

Haylee has a tragic past which has made her stronger. She had lost many of her loved ones, but she never became accustomed to losing those closest to her. She was very close to Anthony until she was kicked out of the underground society but even after that she still seems to have a soft spot for him.

Description (7.5/10): 

Haylee is a thin short woman with brown eyes and medium-length hair. She was well versed with the forest and was physically fit as she frequently had to deal with those monsters. She knew everything about that place and learned how to deal with everything. Having her by his side was the best thing he could ever wish for.

Ability to progress the plot (9/10):

Haylee's significant influence affects the direction of the book, as her actions play a crucial role in shaping its outcome. By distracting the monster, she not only saves him but also prevents the plot from reaching a dead end.

Character Development (8/10)

Even though at first Haylee appeared bitter towards Anthony, she had a soft spot for him. With more experience in the forest than him, she had an advantage. Haylee helped heal his wounds and protected him.

Overall Influence in the book (9/10)

Overall, Haylee's contribution to the book cannot be overstated. It is undeniable that Anthony's very existence in the forest depended entirely on her presence and support. Without Haylee, Anthony's chances of survival would have been close to non-existent.

Role of the side character (8/10):

Ms Hwang is like the light piercing through the dark lives of Bangtan, slowly curing, reviving, and warming their hearts. Reading the book made it very clear where she stood in the people's lives and how much influence she had.

Description (7.5/10):

All the characters were very well explained. The character, Mrs Hwang didn't have a solid description but her actions spoke damn loud. The way she carried herself said everything about her.

Ability to progress the plot (8/10):

Before  Ms. Hwang appeared in the lives of Sang Yeob and Bangtan they were living their broken dual lives but after her appearance, she slowly healed their broken parts that they didn't know were broken. Being a single parent herself, gave her enough knowledge about how hard it is to live in such a harsh society, and slowly made her way into their hearts.

Character Development (7/10):

Before she was a mom of a daughter, later she became a mom of a daughter and seven sons. She was a strong independent woman with a strong stand for herself and knew what she wanted. She knew how to handle things efficiently. 

Overall Influence in the book (8.5/10):

Overall just as a mom has a big influence over all her family members, she had the same thing. She was loved and appreciated by everyone. Despite encountering many challenges, she was able to overcome them all, and her steadfast love eventually touched the hearts of those around her.

Role of the side character (7/10)

The side character, Phineas is one of the main characters- Carrillo's friend as well as his bodyguard. He was always by his side, supporting him through his sad and difficult times.

Description (8.5/10)

There wasn't any specific description given about him but his actions spoke. An excellent fighter, a good observer, and knows how to protect his friend. He has a playful side even during serious situations but that doesn't make him any less competent.

Ability to progress the plot (5/10)

In all the chapters, he didn't make much progress in advancing the plot. However, as Carrillo's right hand, he does have some influence, but not too much.

Character Development (6/10)

Phineas had a playful character from the first, a talkative person. But even though he was playful and talkative, he never revealed any secrets or anything that shouldn't be disclosed to anyone. He knew his limit and that's the most important thing.

Overall Influence in the book (6/10)

He has quite the influence in the book since he goes everywhere with Carrillo, one of the main characters, who protects him and knows all his secrets.

Role of the side character (4.5/10)

The side character, Gong Woo comes from a poor family with a tragic past. He and y/n the main character loved each other dearly. Gong woo was very much judged by the whole society, even his friends because of what happened to her mother although it wasn't their fault.

Description (5/10)

Gong Woo came from a poor family and he had bad anger issues. When Y/n's father refused to accept him as a potential husband for his daughter, Gong Woo threatened to run away with Y/n and have a baby with her, similar to what his father had done.

Ability to progress the plot (4.5/10)

The side character itself didn't do anything in all the chapters you updated. He disappeared from y/n's life and then again appeared after 3 years as one of the richest businessmen.

Character Development (4/10)

The only character development I witnessed was him adapting and shaping himself to meet y/n's father's expectations to marry y/n.

Overall Influence in the book (5/10)

He had a minor role in the book until now. Initially meant to be y/n's sole love interest, they broke up later on. y/n and Taehyung then fell in love and were happy together until Gong Woo returned after 3 years as a wealthy man, wanting to marry y/n. However, she is already happily married to Taehyung.
