My eyes darted to the checklist in Dad's hand.
I zoned out on Ahkmenrah's calling on each of the exhibits, I hated it when people spoke in monotone.

"Hey Viking? Guys? Do me a favour. You made some sort of funeral pallor in petrified wood. Go clean that up. Okay? Thank you." Dad said, I rolled my eyes. They most likely didn't mean it, I think.

"Ah he's back." Ahkmenrah stated, his eyes darting towards the door. I smiled, I liked their willpower to get into that door, but I suppose you couldn't help it when you had antlers on you head.

"I'll deal with this joker." Dad said walking off towards the entrance doors. I honestly didn't think they were joking.

"Nick do you think Mum is going to be angry that we haven't got any sleep?" I asked. It reminded me of that time Nick and I just ate junk food and stayed awake the whole night watching back to the future.

"Yes," Nick said truthfully. "But it's been worth it." I nodded, I couldn't of agreed more.

I zoned out again humming to myself. I jolted upwards. "Lawrence!" Teddy called pulling me out of my day dream.

"Teddy!" Dad called. "Great to see you in one piece." I smiled at the president, he was always very kind.

"Ah Sacagawea, a little hot wax! I'm a new man!" Teddy smiled lovingly. I really honestly ship them.

"Larry?" The lady called, I noticed that she was the lady at the front desk. I whistled through my teeth, boy, love was in the air tonight. I laughed at my own thoughts.

Dad turned from Teddy to look at her. "I told you I wasn't making fun of you!" Dad said, I lowered my eyes. It was still odd to me that Dad was interested in other women apart from Mum.

"I know." The woman muttered. I folded my arms and sighed. I watched as they looked at Teddy and Sacagawea.

"Ooh." She said and gripped Dad's shirt. "Oh my god." She said clearly shocked. It was like the first time she had seen chocolate.

"Wanna meet her?" Dad asked. The woman nodded slowly, she must of still been in shock.

I watched as Dad introduced them to one another. I watched as the exhibits went back in their places.

It was almost morning. I turned my head to Ahkmenrah. His eyes were suddenly filled with fear.

"Fey, sweetie. Do you mind helping Ahkmenrah back into his tomb?" Dad asked ordering me. I wasn't really someone to order around.

"No not at all." I said and I followed Ahkmenrah up the steps towards the direction of his tomb.

Ahkmenrah jackal guys bowed instantly towards Ahkmenrah, their king.

I bowed my head quickly to them. The silence was uncomfortable. It felt so wrong. The only sound was our feet padding against the stone floors.

Ahkmenrah spoke first, breaking the silence. "Will you be back tomorrow night?" He asked.

"I'll try my best. I have an assignment that I need help with remember?" I said with a small grin. I liked spending time with Ahkmenrah, perhaps he helped me relax and make me believe that I wasn't crazy. It felt so unbelievably natural to stand next to him.

Ahkmenrah reached in his sarcophagus and pulled out his bandages, he took off his headdress and I saw his brown curly hair.

"Can you be the one to let me out tomorrow?" He asked gently, he voice almost worried me. I think after spending so long in there he hated it, he hated it.

"I'll try Ahk. I promise." I whispered, my eyes holding his. He looked like he was about to cry.

"Do we have a certain way to do this?" I asked as he handed me one of his bandages.

He managed to choke out the words. "No, not that I know of. No one will open me up, anyway." After Ahkmenrah's bandages were done, I helped him into his sarcophagus.

"Are you comfy?" I asked gently. Ahkmenrah nodded, sort of. He seemed very restricted.

I helped wrap the bandages around his face, I tried to make them less restricting. So he could breathe more easily and move his head if he wanted too. He had tears in his eyes and it made me want to cry.

"Ahk, I will come back. I'll always come back. Please don't get upset I know you hate being in there, but I'll be here first thing as soon as the tablet glows." I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet, he kept me sane and grounded without him I would lose my mind. This wasn't normal, this wasn't something that happened to everything thirteen year old?

My eyes met his, I gazed down at my feet. I saw the fact that he was heart broken because I wasn't her. I wasn't Ramla, and I think it was because he didn't think I remembered. Maybe it was because I didn't know?

I slowly supported his head with my right hand and covered with my left. "Ahk, I know where ever the girl you love is, I'm sure she misses you. You are someone who deserves all the happiness in the world." I whisper, he must be in so much pain.

I pulled his sarcophagus over and locked the pins. My gaze settled on the tablet for a moment. Even when he had tears in his eyes, I didn't have the guts to tell him.

One thing I was happy about was his guards didn't attack me again.

I took a breathe and walked out of his tomb and down the stairs to meet Dad, Nick, Teddy and I woman I had learned was Rebecca. I had helped Nick by gathering papers and passing them for hip to sort out.

"Nick, Freya." Teddy called us and we both turned around,"Your father is a great man."

Nick and looked at one another and smiled, "We know." We both gave a smile at Dad, who smiled back at us.

I was too far away to hear what they were saying, then the sun shone through the windows in my eyes. I smiled at Nick, who smiled back.

"Let's get cracking!" I said with a smile, as we all began to clean up the mess in the main entrance.

"Kids have a look at this!" My mother Erica called out. "It's about the museum you dad works at." I slid off my stood and walked into the lounge room. Mum was talking about the television and the news.

"What's wrong mum?" I asked leaning against the door frame, folding my arms.

"Listen to this." My mother turned the volume up on the tv. I sat down on the couch next to her as her eyes widened at the footage on the tv.

"Dinosaur tracks? Cave drawings on the subway?" Mum muttered clearly astounded. "How is this possible Rey?" My mother asked wonder, as Nick game into the room and jumped into the middle of the two of us.

Nick smiled at me and said "Magic!"

I gave Nick a knowing look, "How do you think they did it Mum?" I said smiling, as I cuddled into her side and took the chocolate of her.
