AS i thought about it while walking over to the boys, I actually was happy they were here. I wanted them to meet Daniel for a while now. I didn't realize Daniel and I's arms were still linked until I see Chris's eyes piercing directly at them. I sensed his protectiveness was trying to come out.

I finally let go of Daniel and give Matt and Nick the biggest hugs. Even though I saw them a couple days ago, we were big huggers. Well, mostly Nick. I let Daniel introduce himself to the boys and they all dapped him up. It was going smoothly. Small talk was being exchanged towards Matt, Nick, and Daniel.

Chris standing across from me, staring into my eyes as this conversation goes on. It was like he was trying to talk to me with his blue eyes. Sadly, i was a little tipsy and at this moment was not fluent in Chris language.

As the night goes on, i was catching up with old friends and making new ones. The fire was still burning and i decided to sit down on one of the blankets Nick brought. "Hi babe. Finally just me and you. Lets chat" Nick exclaims as we sit down together.

"I wanna know what your first impression on Daniel was?" I asked.

"I like him a lot! He is actually really fucking funny. But girl, he looks like he likes you!" He replied. I gasped, slapping his shoulder. He rubbed it and did a fake little cry while I laughed at him.

"No! We are just friends, Nick." I exclaimed. Why does every person on this planet think platonic friends aren't possible?

"Yeah... just like you and Chris huh." He mumbled. I couldn't tell if he was trying to play around like he usually does or not.

"Nick really? Don't be like every other person saying that about Chris and I." I quickly replied.

"Y/n.. did you see him when you came with Daniel? Ive never seen Chris's that red before!" He lightly shouted. He did look red but that was just him being protective.

"No no no. Stop. Nick. You have it all wrong. Why are you suddenly switching up on me?" I said. He has never fallen into the allegations between Chris and I. He knew it was strictly just a strong friendship.

"I am not trying to y/n. But look.. i've thought about this for a while. I think.. i don't know. Chris doesn't like opening up about girls and romantic feelings but i see how he looks at u. I mean, look at him now even." He says as he is smoothly trying to point over at Chris.

Chris was all the way on the other side of us, sitting next to Matt but his eyes are looking directly at mine with his cup in his mouth.

The way his eyes were filled with love as he was staring at me. I've never noticed his eyes look at me like this before. The fire was a little blinding, but he sees me look at him and he gives me a reassuring smile.

"Has he always looked at me like that...?" I asked. Nick turns his head towards me.

"Yes.. Ever since High School." He replied.
Oh my God.

I was happy I only had one drink because I wanted to talk to Chris. I gave Nick a little kiss on the cheek and walked across to where Chris and Matt were sitting. Chris staring up at me as i'm hovering over him while standing.

"Hi y/n." Chris says. The way he said it was so pure and adorable. It was like he was waiting for me to talk to him all night.

As i was about to ask him to come on a little walk with me, i hear Daniel calling my name from behind. Oh my.. he was so drunk.

"Ayy, y/n. C-come over heree." Daniel slurs his words. He slips his hand around my waist. Chris not keeping his gaze off that area.

Daniel suddenly starts to give my hand little kisses. I laugh from awkwardness and not knowing how to react. Chris looks extremely mad but still has not said anything to him.

I was a little confused by how Chris was handling this. He is never quiet. Usually when a boy is acting like this with me, he is all up in their business cussing them out. But no. There he was, just sitting there staring up at us with this angry expression on his face.

"Daniel I think you had too much to drink let me grab you water, okay?" I said. As those words come out of my mouth, I see Chris get up and walk towards the light house. Why did he suddenly just get up like that?

Daniel was lightly scratching my arm up and down and laying his head on my shoulder like a baby. "Matt, could you do me a favor and please get him water? I'll be right back" I reassured.

Matt standing up, "Of course y/n." He replies. Such a gentleman.

I start following Chris. The farther I got away from the bonfire, the darker it got. I finally see Chris's body figure. "Chris!!" I screamed. He quickly turns around. The moon is lightly shining on his face where i can see all this emotion on his face.

I walk towards him, finally face to face. Its quiet. Only the sound of the water slowly splashing on the shore is being heard. "What's going on with you, Chris?" I ask with concern. Chris starts taking off his hat, running his hands through his hair.

"I don't think I should say. Its not right of me.." He replies. He looks stressed, like i am about to get mad at him or something alone those lines.

"You can tell me anything, you know that." I reassured him. His face softened, looking more relaxed.

"I know.. but t-this.. this isn't just anything y/n." He mumbles. I then start begging him to just tell me.

"Okay.. i don't like seeing you with other guys. It makes me crazy!" He replies.

"I know it does. You get protective over me." I quickly responded. He huffed. As if i wasn't understanding what he was trying to say.

"What?!" I said reacting to his actions. Him still sighing and pacing from side to side, i begin to get annoyed. "Alright, i can't do this right now." I added.
I start to walk away from him, going back to the party.

"Y/n wait!" Chris shouts, as i turn around, we are face to face. Our lips just inches away from each other. "I love you." He looks at my lips then up to my eyes. He slowly reaches for my hair to tuck behind my ear.

"And i don't mean love you just as a friend." He says, "I mean I am in love with you." I look up at him and our eyes meet perfectly with one another. The sounds of faint music from afar with people laughing and talking. But it suddenly becomes blocked out when our eyes connect.

He slowly leans in and our lips touch for the first time. I can feel him smile as we kiss. He grabs my face to deepen the kiss. I've never felt like this before. My heart was beating so fast, but in a way I loved so much. Everything suddenly felt so clear as of what should happen between us.
