𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐔𝐃𝐄.       running up that hill

Y/N looked down at her hands, shaking from the adrenaline rush. She peered down at the charred body of Dylan Gould. A part of her was satisfied with seeing the corrupted man dead, the man that tortured her, the one that forced her to betray the Autobots. But another part of her was shocked at killing a life, human life in fact.

How did this happen, how could we let this happen?

Everything went downhill when Sentinel was brought back to life, now all she saw was fire and death. Sometimes Y/N thought that being a Witwicky was a curse, she saw watched people she cared for die, and she watched Ironhide get shot by the bot that everyone trusted and witness Chicago turn into a battleground.

" Y/N! Hey snap out of it " a girl's voice interrupted her moment as she turn to see Miko, looking at her worried. Her body was covered in dust and debris, with little cuts on her face from the explosions and rocks.

" Miko " she sighed as the rush was draining her, Miko peered down at the corpse, a slight grimace decorating her face, " Is he dead? " she asked, hopefully seeing the man who threatened to kill her dead.

" Yeah he's dead," she confirmed, soon the Autobots, Will, and his men arrived.

" The pillar is still connected " Will shouted as Bumblebee used his body to crash into the machine, finally destroyed. Y/N watched as the Cybertronian ships were beamed back to Cybertron as the metal planet was destroyed and sucked into a vortex.

Y/N and Miko ran ahead of the others, they spotted the defeated form of the Decepticon warlord, "Have you come to surrender?" He growled as he looked down at Y/N's figure that stood in front of him.

" Y/N, no " Miko whispered shouted, sensing this was a bad idea which was ironic for the girl. Y/N shook her head, telling the girl to trust her, and climbed up the fire escape beside him.

"Was it all worth it?" Y/N questioned the 'con leader who chuckled and shakes his head.

"Obviously." He growls in reply to her questions and watches as she stands beside him. He was going to try to kill Sentinel and then? Optimus would kill him.

"All your work to bring Sentinel back and now clearly he has all the power. It's actually almost tragic" Y/N call sarcastically at the deception leader who growls and sits up to glare at her.

"You dare lecture me, girl?" Megatron shouts and Miko jumps and grips the bars of the fire escape behind me.

"Your Decepticons finally conquering this planet, and yet, their leader won't be you!" Miko continues and watches as he growls becoming angrier at her words.

"It will be me! It will always be me!" He shouts and brings his claw-like hands toward Y/N's body that she pushed against the metal of the fire escape and further away from him. Feeling the sharp claws gently, graze her cheeks.

"In any minute now, you'll be nothing but Sentinel's bitch", Miko finishes and watch as he shouts and lunges at the girl before stopping. His hand stilling as he looks at Y/N and growls loudly standing up.

" After I defeat Sentinal and Optimus, you shall be mine " he growled towards Y/N. He moves quickly for a bot that looked ready to give up. His movements were precise as he runs towards the battle between the two Primes.

Although the girls couldn't move as quickly as he could they followed. Knowing they would still have to fight and that it wouldn't be over in a matter of seconds.

Y/N's chest heaved as she ran to the bridge. She froze as she heard that voice that set her body on fire. She watched as Megatron came and shot Sentinel, helping Optimus.

She watched the two ex-brothers fight.

She watched as Optimus defeated Megatron in just a few seconds.

Y/n snapped out of it and walked to the bridge, seeing Optimus about to execute the former Autobot.

Optimus glanced back to look at Y/N's figure. He sent her a small smile and beckoned me over to him. His optics scanned over her body, she was sure looking for any injuries.

"Optimus, all I ever wanted was the survival of our race. You must see why... I had to betray you" Sentinel spoke and Y/N gripped her hand tightly. All this death and destruction was not worth it, all the lives and sparks gone all for this.

As Y/N walked over to Optimus and stood beside him in front of the damaged Prime.

"You didn't betray me. You betrayed yourself," he spoke and took a step away as he shot toward the bot's spark.

As Sentinel lay dying as raised his head to look at Y/N, and using his last dying moment he subtly brought out a pillar.

" If I'm going down, I will take everyone with me " he yelled as he held something in his servos, soon it activated which looked different from the others. It beeped before a large vortex appeared.

Sentinel's dead body was pulled into black oblivion as Optimus grabbed onto the bridge with his remaining arm. Y/N was unlucky enough as she got dragged by the force of the vortex. Optimus watched helplessly, his spark pounding seeing Y/N getting closer to the portal.

Y/N tried to grab onto a concrete debris but she felt her fingers losing strength and slipping. She watched a figure race towards her and grab her hand.

" MIKO NO!!" she yelled as the Asian girl grabbed onto her hand and tried pulling her in. Unfortunately, Miko could hold on any further, as one of her fingers was slipping, Y/N turned her head to watch Optimus and the rest of the Autobots watched in horror as they raced to save her and Miko.

Soon all could Y/N Witwicky and Miko remember was the terrified optics and the darkness consuming them, as their bodies were warped by time and reality, thinking death would welcome them.

But how wrong they were and this was just the beginning for them.
