Chapter = 8

In the car :-

During the car ride Vaani and Shubman discussed everything they had planned. Shubman was hella nervous about everything. He did tried for the last also to stop Vaani but she was adamant upon cancelling the marriage or whatever it is.

Despite having such important conversation Shubman made sure to check Vaani out, not in a bad way of course. Otherhand Vaani was fully focused on her plan. No matter what she'll declin the marriage.

They were about to cross the road but suddenly the signal went red indicating each and every car to stop. Shubman of the engine and pulled down the window. There he saw a little girl and her dad on a bike waiting for the signal to go green.

The girl was continuously talking and her dad was listening to her patiently. Shubman smiled looking at them. He always want his first baby to be a girl. The girl was swinging her her hair left and right then suddenly she caught Shubman starring at her. She widened her eyes and waved her hands.

Shubman waved back at her ," What's you name ?" Shubman asked the and this caught the girl's father and Vaani's attention. Both turned their head towards them ," Ahana" the little girl answered.

" Woaw ... such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" The girl hearing this hugged her father's torso and thanked him ," Thank you Shubman bhaiyaa " Shubman and Vaani both smiled at her words.

" She is your and Ishan sir's big fan sir ... Even went to watch your match in the finals " Shubman looked at her father then back to her," Is that so? *she nodded * So do you like us or Cricket?"

" I like both bhaiyaa but I really like to play cricket " Shubman smiled at her words then turned to her father," Why don't you admission her to any cricket academy? "

" There were we are going sir ... She has became very adamant after watching you smashes huge sixes ... now she only want to pursue her carrier as a cricketer "Said her father.

" That's realty great ... she should pursue her dream " Finally Vaani spoke then smiled at the girl ," Vaani didi " Ahana jumped seeing her.

" Hi!!" Vaani waved at her and Ahana did the same ," Vaani did is he your boyfriend? he's so handsome ... I really like you both together " Ahana asked

Before anyone could answered her question the signal changed it's colour that why Vaani just smiled at her and her father droved his bike off. Shubman also started the car engine and drive off.

Few seconds later they recahed the café and parked the car near by. As Vaani was wearing a Sharara set she handed her purse to Shubman who carried it out and went to the other side to open the car door for her. [He's a gentleman 😌]

Vaani came out from the car holding Shubman's hand and both went inside the café. They often holds hands so it wasn't a big deal for them but the paparazzi who were present there clicked each and everything pictures of them.

But the interesting part was both Vaani and Shubman weren't aware that paparazzi was there. [ Don't worry raat tak ye log braking news ban jayenge]

Vaani and Shubman entered the café and found most of the seats were empty except for few. There was only five table occupied. Three families were there and a couple. There was also a man sitting but his back was facing them.

Vaani quickly called her bhaiyaa and asked for that man's picture. Virat sent her his picture immediately," Bhej diya bhaiyaa ne ?" Shubman asked ," Ruko check karti hoon"

Vaani opened her brother's chat and found a picture of a very familiar person," Ye! ... ye toh Dhanush hai" The gill boy got shocked hearing her. He snatched her phone from her hand and saw the picture again ," ye toh sach main Dhanush hai"

" Aab kya kare ?" Vaani asked to Shubman who tough to himself," Vaani toh Dhanush ko pasand karti hai nah? iska matlam kya wo plan cnacle kar degi or Dhanush se saadi kar legi?" Shubman's chain of thoughts got broken when he was shook by Vaani.

" Kya soch raha hai? bata nah kya kare?" Shubman looked at Vaani for a second then sighed ," Kuch mat kar ... mujhe toh Dhanush pasand hai ... bas ja jake mille or ghar jake confirm karde ... main chalta hoon"

Unknowingly Vaani got hurt by Shubman's words. Before she could say or do something Shubman exited the café and drove of from the there. And thank god the paparazzi wasn't there. Vaani took a deep breath then make her way towards the man whom she presumed to be Dhanush.

With Shubman:-

Tears were streaming down from his eyes as the lad continued driving. Thinking about Vaani leaving him is killing his souls from inside. Hid heart is beating repeatedly. He excilarated the speed and drove in full speed. His mind is not working.

The girl whom he loved from the core of his heart never looked at him in a different affection. He tridd everything possible to make her fall for him but she never did. Even when he proposed her directly she refused saying .....

Flashback:-

" Tum mujhe yaha kyu le aaye?" Vaani asked Shubman mesmerized by the view ," Baas ... tumhe kuch kehna tha!!"

Vaani turned towards him and asked "Kya?" while smiling. Shubman inhaled some fresh air then started ," Kaise suru karu kuch mamajh nahi aa raha hai " Vaani chuckled at his restlessness then said ," Mujh se kya hich ki chana ... baata do ho bhi hai"

Shubman then kneeled down before her and took out a smal red velvet box ," Vaani ... tum mujhe bohot acchi lagti ho ... bohot hi zyada ... jab se tumse mila ho I don't how but my perspective changed towards life . You brought out a new self of mine ... there without you I've living my life without any reason but from the time you have entered in my life it started to get reasons to live longer... I want you to be my girlfriend Vaani ... you're my first ever love " Shubman finishing his sentence looked up at Vaani who was numb of her spot.

Vaani took few steps back then replied," I'm sorry Shubman ... But I've not romantic feelings towards you ... and most importantly it's your carriers pick of the time. You should focous on that"

Shubman felt his whole world shattered in a second. Vaani doesn't feel the same for him. The girl whom he has already started loving doesn't feel the same for her. Shubman got up from his position and said ," Please Vaani give me a chance ... I'll do whatever you'll asked me to do" Shubman said while hot tears stream down from his eyes.

Vaani felt bad refusing him so she put a condition," Fine ... I'll gave you a chance if you play well and gain a position in the playing 11 in the Indian team ... okay ?" Vaani forwards her hand for Shubman tk accept the deal.

" Pyaar ko deal bana rahi ho ? Vaani sab kuch business nahi hota ki iske badle ye dedo ... maine pyaar kiya hai tumse ... agar pyaar kar sako toh karo warna its fine ... I'll get over of .. maybe " Vaani realises what Shubman thought of her, she quickly defended herself," Nahi Shub I didn't meant what your thinking ... I just want you to be successful in your goal ... I don't want to be a distraction for you"

" It's fine Vaani .... You don't have to be sorry for what you said ... Please forget what happend here ... We can still be friends right ?" a tear rolled down from her cheeks she wiped it quickly," Shub ... I'm Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you but yeah ... we still can be friends ... even we can be best friends "

Vaani hugged Shubman for the last time then exited the place. After her taking her adieu Shubman broke down in tears but few minutes later he controlled himself and left the place.

End of Flashback:-

Shubman was driving in full speed when suddenly he saw a little kid on the road. His mind was already preoccupied by the previous phenomenon so seeing the kid suddenly he couldn't hold the balance, he turned the cars direction and hit a tree.

Thank god nothing serious happened to him. He only got a scratch on his forehead. His car got damaged at the front. He came out from the car and examined it. The car has been brutally damaged.

The lad sighed then took out his cell phone and called his driver to bring a different car. Then called car servicing to take this car. Shubman hanging up the call looked around. He noticed a café and thought of spending his time there untill his driver arrives.
