The female Kohli sat on the passenger seat of the audi owned by the prince of the cricket. They both sat in the car in a comfortable silence as the wheels of the car were taking them towards the Kohli Mansion. The Gill boy was taking secret glances of the lady sitting next to him.

Shubman was in a hesitation whether he should ask her or not ? Curiosity kills the sh*t out of man. Observing the restlessness of the lad Vaani put down her phone and questioned," Baat tumhare pet pe rahe hi nahi ... toh bol do jo bolna hai!!" Shubman was taken back but just the second the car stopped for the signal Shubman revealed his concern.

"You know what Dhanush said to me ?" Shubman faced Vaani. Vaani the god of sarcasm said ," Don't tell me he proposed to you " Vaani joked and she laughed hard on her own joke otherhand Shubman didn't find it funny at all used his poker face.

" Hai mata rani ... ab Ishan ka kya hoga? 🤣" Vaani again joked and this time Shubman couldn't hold himself and let out some chuckles. Regaining their sense Vaani asked ," Toh bolo .. kya kaha Dhanush ne ?" Vaani asked, there wasn't any excitement in her voice.

" Do you know that Dhanush like you a lot ?" Shubman informed Vaani and expected the lady to get surprised or will shout in excitement but to his own surprise Vaani did nothing but started playing candy crush in her cell phone.

Shubman not understanding her reaction went silent and drove towards the Kohli Villa. Through out the ride Vaani herself thought about the phenomenon. She got awestruck like how her demeanor was calm and reserved.

The lad Shubman was talking about was her love of the life whom she's been crushing over from past three years. But what surprised her was hearing Dhanush like her didn't bother her much. She just listened to without expression.

The lady excepted herself to be extremely excited but she got shocked upon her own reaction. The whole ride both remained silent and focused on the rode. Few minutes later they reached their destination. Shubman unlocked the door for Vaani and helped her to get down.

The lady only stared at him cogitating how lucky she is to have someone like Shubman in her life. Everytime she faces any difficulties she straight ran up to Shubman and that lad solves it in a minute. No matter how she tried but cant denied the fact that Shubman is her happy yet safe place.

But she never got a chance to be his safe place cause that lad never give her any headache. He never shares his problems with her. All the time Shubman is just smilling at her like there is nothing wrong in his life but nobody knows the person he thinks is his happy place is giving him the most pain.

Vaani was standing there still not moving an inch from her place. Shubman turned around to face her and put his warm smile on his face. Vaani knows that smile holds pain but she doesn't know the reason behind it. Shubman also stood there both of his hands were inside of his pockets. Vaani blinked her eyes for a while then hugged him tightly.

The brunet was taken a back by the females move. He composed his demeanor and hugged her back while resting his head on her head smelling her hair. Both of their heart beat was in high level but calmed immediately. Vaani found comfort in his embrace. This is the comfort she searched everywhere but found never.

An unknown feelings were caging them which they weren't aware of. The trees, rode, bird's, sky passing cars witnessed two people and their unspoken love for eacg other. Finally what felt like hours Vaani pulled out and and wiped her tears. Shubman raised his eyebrows and cupped her face.

"Shub .... Shubman " The female kohli whispered his name while leaning in his touch. Confused Shubman pulled her closer and asked," Vaani .. is something bothering you ?" Vaani locked her eyes with his and nodded her head in a positive way.

Shubman started caressing her cheeks and asked ,"Wanna share it?" Vaani releases some shaky breaths and answered," Can you promised me something Shubman?" Vaani's voice hold a pleading sound.

"What is it Vaani ? just tell me already" Shubman got worried seeing Vaani in this state ," Shubman ... you promise me shub that you will always be with me!! No matter what happen ... you will always stay with me !! Even if I ask you to stay away you will still stay with with me. Promise me Shub? promise me !!" all of a sudden Vaani cried out loud holding Shubman as close to her as possible.

Shubman was still processing everything that came out from the girl. But why all of a sudden Vaani felt insecure? Why she is so afraid of losing him? but without asking any farther question to her he said,"Don't worry Van ... I'll never leave you !! Not even then also when you'll be desperate to throw me away!!!" Vaani chuckled a bit then said," I'll never throw you away Shub!! Never"

Shubman felt so delighted right now, only if Vaani knows how much her words ment to him. Shubman caressed her hair and inhaled her familiar scent. They were busy in their own moment not knowing someone was watching them with admiration in their eyes.

Seconds later Vaani again pulled away and started parting away from him. She stood in a distance from him and said ," Yaha tak aye ho toh uper challo mujhe accha lagega!" The female request.

"Vaani aaj jana jaruri hai? kisi aur din aa jaunga!!" Shubman tried to declin the offer politely but his answer angered Vaani. She went towards him and pulled him by his upper arms,"You never listened to me when I'm nice to you" Vaani said and they both entered the house.

Shubman being the taller among then rang the bell while Vaani sulk at that,"Zyada flaunt mat karo" Shubman smirked and said,"kyu? kya kiya maine?" Vaani eyed him,"Arey tum pohoch nahi pa rahi thi is liye maine madad kara .... bhalai ka toh zamanai nahi raha" Shubman said with a fake angry face but mentally he was laughing his ass of witnessing Vaani's reaction.

"Kya ukhar liya lamba hoke ?" Vaani asked anger audable in her voice," Arey kyu bell bajaya!!" Shubman answered which triggered Vaani more and she started to hit him multiple times on his biceps.

Their fights continued while the door opened revealing Anushka. She widened her eyes and asked,"Arey kya kar rahe ho tum dono?" The youngers stopped hearing her and lowered their heads. Anushka then smiled and said ,"Chalo ander ao .. kabse wait kar rahe hai dono ka"

Anushka moved from the door and gestured them to entered. They both entered and ran towards the living room. Anushka stood their admiring her little sister and little brother. She noted to talk about then to virat later. Closing the door she also walk forward and entered the living room.

Shubman having the long legs took the advantage and jump beside Virat and took a seat there. Vaani got awestruck seeing the . She stood there putting her hands on her hips. Shubman smirked at her and Virat laughed while covering his face. Shubman to make Vaani more jealous put his head on Virat's shoulder and hugged him from the side.

Vaani's face had the most iconic reaction. She got shock and sat across them while crossing her hand upon her chest. Anushka came and took a seat beside her as well. There was a silence for few minutes then Anushka gestured Virat to spill the trush. Clearing his throat Virat asked,"Um .. Vans have you spoke to mum recently?" Vaani looked at him in curiosity.

"No !why?" She said wanting to know the matter. Virat sighed then looked at Anushka. She nodded her head for Virat to continue,"Actually .. I had a deep conversation with mum day before today *Vaani nodded* and she's been telling me that you, Vaani have gotten much older .. so she need to settle down and all" Virat finishes.

Vaani got confused hearing him,"But bhai maito kafi settle feel karti hoon ... I do work, I pay my own rent even I have a dog. Aur kya chahiye?" Virat and Anuahka noded their head and till now Shubman also understood what exactly they were trying say.

Not being able to control his urge the gill boy spoke up ," Vaani I guess they are speaking about your marriage!!" Virat gave a smile of gratitude to the young lad. Hearing hkm the female Kohli turned to the male waiting for him to confirm. Just the second he nodded Vaani got furious.

" Why?" This was th only word came out from the younger female present there. Anushka tried to caressed her hair but she distance herself from her. Vaani herself was not sure why she felt so betrayed. It's not like they were asking her to get married tomorrow. But this marriage, dating and all right now is just disturbing her.

Regulating herself from this small trauma Vaani said ," Has she seen anyone for me?" she waited for her brother ro answer her but not getting any she looked at her bhabhi [Sister-in-law].

Anushka now has already gotten that how much Virat shows his aggressiveness on the feild but in front of his sister he remains a mouse. Not wasting any time the Sharma girl informed,"Vaani mum has just been talking about your marriage ... as you know she is not well and all of her children's have gotten married except for you .. so she's just worried about you!!"

Softing her voice Vaani answered," I understand your point bhabhi but that doesn't justify mum's point. I know her being worried about me is normal but won't she think about me .. like I want to get married or not?" Shubman felt very awkward there cause he's been interfering their personal matter. So he silently tried to get up but both Virat and Vaani shouted ,"Baith ch*tiye".

Shubman immediately sat down and pretend like nothing happened. Anushka again sighted and spoke ,"Vans ... nobody is forcing you to get married we are just asking you to meet the boy mom has seen for you!" defeated by Anushka's words Vaani nodded and looked back at Shubman gesturing *We need to talk*.

Gathering up his whole courage Virat asked ," Alright ... then ... as you guys are leaving for delhi day after tomorrow shall I arrenge your meeting tomorrow evening?" Vaani nodded and got up from her seat Shubman tailing behind.

"Anu mujhe lagta hai in dono ka kuch chal raha hai!!" Virat said looking at his sister's disappearing figure," Not sure .. but dono ke dil main kuch toh hai" Anushka expressed her feelings. Viart was about to say something but Vamika walked out her room and sat on Virat's lap. The couple get engrossed into her and forget about their breif encounter with the former female.

Vaani's room:-

Vaani stomped inside of her room and jumped on her fluffy bed. Shubman did the same before closing the door. Vaani looked at him and said,"Kal free hai? shaam ko?"Shubman looked at her face for a minute then said,"Nahi kaam hai" Vaani pulled his face and said," Chal ... free hai tu" Shubman removed his face from her grip and said,"Okay .. free hoon ... par ki kam hai wo toh daas mainu" Vaani just smirked and said,"Ruko jara sabar karo ... kal waise bhi pata chal jayga"

Shubman geta confused but didn't pushed it cause he knows there is no way vaani is sharing anything if she is not wanting to. They both played video games for a while then had dinner and slept. [In separate rooms 🙂]
