Chapter = 12

Pulling away from Anushka Vanni looked at Virat and Rohit ," Bhai ... Ro bhaiyya say something what happend? Aren't you happy about us ?" She asked with an almost crying face.

Rohit and Virat both looked at eachother and nodded. They both got up from their positions and said together, " We ... don't ... have ... any ... PROBLEM " just the Second they finished the room filled up with laughter and shouts.

The boys hugged eachother, Anushka and Shanaya congratulated Vaani. Vaani then went to her brothers and hugged them ," Thaank you bhaiyyas ... I love you guys really !!" She said and again everyone laughed.

After pulling apart from the hug Virat called ," Shubman !" Shubman stepped up then said ," Yes bhai ?" He felt a bit nervous and that was audible in his voice.

" Don't worry ... I won't eat you up but one thing I wanna warn you about is ... Vaani is my precious little baby ... she is not only my sister but my own child, whom I've raised by myself so anything that bothers her bothers me as well ... so take good care of her and don't hurt her ... okay ?" Virat said all of this by holding Shubman's hand.

Everyone present there become emotional after hearing him. Vaani continuously wipes her tears while Anushka was so stunned to even speak. Ishan and Tilak admired Virat while Rohit thought about his sister, Shanaya.

It's not like he will not approve if Shanaya says that she likes someone. But that someone has to be perfect for his dear sister. He himself has done love marriage so he supports love marriage but still as a big brother it's his duty to secure his little sister's life.

" Ro bhai " Rohit was fully focused on his thoughts that he didn't heard when Vaani called him so Virat gave a small nudge to him ," Ye-yeah Vaani say !!" Rohit answered.

" Where are you lost bhai ? Forget that ... are you happy about us ?" Vaani asked, excitement dangling in her eyes. Rohit smiled affectionaly then caressed her hair ," Sabse jyada" The moment those golden words left his lips Vaani tightly hugged him which Rohit returned.

Rohit then gestured for Shubman to join the hug which he did. Like that the evening went on, everyone present in the hotel except for the hotel management and the press media knows about Vaani and Shubman. Virat has already spoken to their mother about this matter and surprisingly their mother also approved them. Now only left Shubman's parents.

Virat and Rohit both has reached the field for the toss. The umpire has given the coin to Virat to gave it to Rohit for the toss. Rohit tossed the coin in the air while Virat shouted Heads.

The coin fell down showing Heads, Virat jumped a little then hugged Rohit saying," I think all my bad luck are going away " Rohit laughed then patted his back.

Here in the VIP stands Vaani, Shubman and Shanaya were seating on a row with Ritika and Anushka, who were carrying both sleeping Samaira and Vamika.

Vaani and Shubman were holding hands secretly while Shanaya was busy in checking Ishan out. She didn't knew for how long she's been checking him out. Ishan was down on the field doing some warm ups.

Shubman noticed it but he didn't wanted to make things awkward while saying something stupid so he asked ," Aren't you the cameraman?" Vaani quickly turned her head in his direction. Shanaya looked at him with a confused look.

" I'm not a " cameraman " Shubman but a photographer " Shanaya corrected him with a sarcasm visible in her words. Vaani laughed only while Shubman sulked at this moment.

The matched started with Virat choosing to bowl first. Rohit and Ishan went on the field for the opening. Rohit took the strike while Ishan stood at the non strikers end. Ishan quickly with speed of rocket looked at the VIP area took see if Shanaya was there. He smiled seeing her there with a big smile on her face.

As we all know our Ritika bhabhi seats with her fingers crossed untill our Ro bhaiyya plays. So, here inheriting her habit Shanaya also sat there with fingers crossed. Vaani and Shubman both noticed that and shared a smirk with each other.

The match began with a marvelous six of Rohit's. Ishan and Rohit then tapped their bats and began to his sixs and fours. It was like a left hand game for them. In ten overs their score was 99 with no wickets gone. Rohit was on 55 while Ishan was on 48.

The match has reached in an intense situation. Virat pulled Siraj in a corner and whispered something and the next thing we know, Rohit's wicket was taken by Mohammed Siraj. Rohit being disappointed a bit walked back towards the pavilion.

Here Ritika was also upset she uncrossed her fingers. But Shanaya kept it, it's clear now for whom she has crossed her fingers.

It was now Sky who went on the field for bating. The duo Ishan and Sky kept hitting two boundaries per over. Ishan has completed his half century. Shanaya clapped whole heartedly along with Shubman and other MI fans.

The total score was now 188 with 3 wickets gone. Now playing Tilak and Ishan. Ishan who has scored 96 and Tilak who just came and scored only 7 runs. Ishan was 4 runs away from his first ipl century.

He went to the crease and rubbed his shoes on the crease. He looked up at the gallery to find Shanaya. He didn't know why he had that urged to find her but he did and found her already looking at him. As usual the cameraman captured it and showed it on the big screen where Vaani and Shubman has also been shown.

The crowd started to shout ," Hamara bhabhi kaisi ho ... Vaani bhabhi jaisi ho" Shubman and Vaani couldn't helped but blushed hard hearing those comments. While some of them also started a new trend for Ishan and Shanaya. They shouted ," Kishan ki biwi kaun hai Sharma hai ya gill hai?"

The whole MI and RCB player [except for Rohit] who were on the dugout laughing their ass of hearing these comments. Shanaya on the other blushed hard but she felt really nervous upon thinking what will be her brother's reaction on this.

Ishan there felt something in his stomach. His attention has now shifted on the chants more then the game so when the bowler of the opponent team bowled, that straight went into his face. The ball hit his helmet and stucked there. The crowd went silent. Tilak ran from the non-strikers end upto him and checked if he was okay.

Shanaya got scared witnessing the phenomenon. Shubman shouted on the bowler as he was concerned for his best friend. Vaani tried to calm him down. The bowler went and asked apology for his ball. He then bowled the next ball which Ishan hit with full force and send it towards the boundary. Ishan and Tilak ran between the wickets and took three run.

Before the ball could touch the boundary Virat caught it and threw it towards the stumps and it hit it. Tilak was few seconds late to reache the crease. The RCB crowd started to shout. Tilak walked back to the pavilion with only 7 runs scored. Ishan stood there like a piller with 99 runs, 1 run to go for his century.

This scene looks so familiar to Ishan. It's not the first time Ishan has reached near to his ipl century. The previous one was also against RCB and in bangalore.

" Thid scene is highly familiar isn't it Ravi sir ?" The commentator asked Ravi Sashtri sir, " Yes absolutely ... the youth playing there has an excellent talent in himself ... he need to have to focus on his next ball " Ravi sir said.

" Yup ... Ishan Kishan a boy belongs from the state of M.S. Dhoni has to been different " The commentator said.

It was Yash Dayal who was bowling to Ishan. He took his run and delivered a fine yorker. Ishan backed up a bit then hit it with full force and send it towards over the boundry.

" And It's a huge six of 110 miters by Ishan Kishan the boy belongs from the state of Mahendra Singh Dhoni " Ravi Sastri sir commented with his voice braking through the mic.

Virat hiding his disappointment clapped and patted Ishan's back for his unbelievable century. Rohit, Bumrah, Tilak and others were jumping and shouting for him.

" What a batsman him is ... It's true then that History repeats itself ... and when it does it always brings the better best with it ... Congratulations Ishan fir your beautiful Ipl century" The commentator congratulated him.

None the less Shanaya was clapping and shouting mess on the VIP stands along with Shubman. Vaani there was thinking whom to stop first. Ritika hugged Shanaya with Shamaira hugging her bua's legs.

It was bow 195 for 4 wickets. The first innings of the match has completed. It's a 15mins break before the next innings to start. Ishan walked back to the pavilion with others patting his back and congratulating him.

Shubman went and hugged his best friend very tightly. Ishan hugged back with the same impact," Congrats babe 🥳" Shubi whispered near his ears. Ishan smiled and said ," Thanks babe 😌 "

" If your bromance is complete then can we wish him ?" Anushka asked with a smirk dancing on her lips while her hands crossed over her chest.

" Sure sure " Shubman said then pulled away. Every single person came and congratulated Ishan except for Shanaya. Ishan came out after taking a shower and changed his jersey with fresh one. He roamed around the place to find Shanaya but couldn't find her. Being disappointed he again went back to the field for the second half.

Ishan wore his gloves then positioned himself behind the wickets. It was Virat who was on the strike. Bumrah bowled the first over. It was a nice over 10 runs came from this over without loosing a wicket.

The match went on with RCB doing well with the bat. RCB scored 101 within 12 overs with 3 wickets down. Virat stood on the crease scoring a very fine half century. Anuj Rawat as his partner on the other strike.

It was a nice innings with Virat scoring a decent 76 runs with 48 balls. RCB scored 189 within 19th over. Last six balls anything can happen. Rohit chose Bumrah to bowl for the last over.

" Virat has already missed two balls and now it's only 3 balls. He has to hit one boundry otherwise RCB will lose today and gonna lose the chance to play on the four finalist " Ravi Sastri sir commented.

Bumrah delivered the third ball of the over which was a fine yorker and it hit the middle stumps making Virat loose his wicket. Bumrah celebrated turning towards the umpire who raised up his fingers finaling the wicket.

Virat walked back towards the pavilion with a heavy hurt. He scored a decent 76 runs. Next two balls were played by Dinesh Kartik who was only capable of scoring two runs making it total of 191 runs within 20 overs.

The MI team celebrated on the filed that they've all gone to the playing fours. Virat and Rohit hugged eachother. Rohit consoled Virat by patting his back. Virat smiled emotionally.

Shubman clapped loudly as his best friends team won the match while Vaani couldn't be happy cause her brother lose the match. While Shanya ? She was no where to be found.
