I was talking with a friend the other day and she was complementing me on my writing skills. Then we got on the topic of dress code at our school and how at my middle school, this girl (not the friend I mentioned above) put posters up that detailed how the school should stop sexualizing women and she got a whole group to all wear spaghetti strap tank tops to protest dress code. Or at least that's what I heard happened, I only saw her in a tank top and I saw the posters.

Anyways, we joked about how shoulders would turn people on and such because that's literally how our school portrays the dress code, and we got back on the topic of writing. And she told me that I should write a story on this guy and girl that met over the girl getting dress coded for her shirt because her shoulders were showing, and I laughed so hard, y'all have no idea.

Do you know how weird that would be to read? It would be so uncomfortable because the guy would have to be like "your shoulders turned me on oooh" and that is messed up. Or it could be the other way around. But still, it would be awkward if I do say so myself.

I just wanted to share that because I found it funny, and I hope you do too.

Ooh! Story time!

I was in english class in middle school and I was wearing a tank top (they allowed them there under a 3 finger rule and I'm glad; our middle school is like 100+ years old and doesn't have air conditioning) and my english teacher was like "I wouldn't wear that tank top again." And the girl behind me just taps me and goes "yeah, your shoulders were distracting me." She was obviously joking, but it was funny nonetheless.
