Well, I guess I'm just going to start with "hi, everyone." 

[Hey! Past Kay here, saying that this turned out to be a bit dramatic. :)]

It's been a while since I've updated here. It was July 12th, I believe, if my memory isn't failing me. That's around two weeks, and a lot has happened in those two weeks. I went away to camp this past week, but the week before was a time that I could've updated. I didn't come up with anything good to put in here, though, so I just kind of left this alone.

So, we focus on the little tiny hiatus I took in this week without telling anyone. To be honest, I thought I would have time to be active, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I was away at band camp, and my band director had visions of getting a LOT done in not enough time. A lot of our breaks were shortened and we rehearsed into a few of them; however, we got some extra time back a couple of times. All in all, there was time, even if it was small.

It wasn't time that escaped me, it was materials. And a heck of a lot of drama.

On the third day of camp, there was a storm in the middle of our last rehearsal. We had to go inside early, and once we were inside, it started pouring. There was even some hail. That isn't the point - the point is, I left my phone in this storm and didn't realize it until it was raining. My friend saved me with her "find my iphone" app, and that's when I knew that I had left it outside and hadn't just ran out to get it, turned it off, left it for a few days, turned it on, thought it worked, used it some more, and realized there was actually something wrong with it. The home button presses itself at random times after it hasn't worked for three days, closing out apps and activating siri as it chooses. 

I had to turn it off for a while because of this, leaving me without a phone for a few days. It was fine, but it still isn't working well since I got home yesterday. 

The moral of the story? I'm stuck without a phone for a couple more days while we try to get it fixed. 

That's not too big of an issue - I have my computer, but that's not accessible outside of my home. I can't pull a computer out of my pocket and check wattpad in the car, at someone else's house, in downtime on vacation or at camp. I'll be on here for the next few days, but it won't be for long. I just wanted to say that.
