heeseung and nari have known eachother for the longest time. he's her hyungie, whom she happens to adore very much. he's taken care of her the most out of all the boys and he takes pride in it.
he was the first of the boys to have seen her cry, and has learned how to help her with her anxiety attacks.

their relationship isn't the most complicated;
she spends a lot of her time cuddled up next to him and he lets her. simple as that, truly.
heeseung is most definitely whipped for the younger: she wants something? she gets it. her self esteem is lower than normal? he showers her with compliments for hours until she feels better. she's craving something super specific? he'd walk barefooted from Seoul to Jeju to get whatever it is for her.

she's also really grown to love his aegyo, even if he still hates doing it.

nari is always around heeseung, or at least, tries to always be around him. since he was the one she was most comfortable with at the beginning of i-land, she stuck to his side during the entirety of the show.

jay was one of the easiest people to open up to in nari's eyes. though he may seem very cold-hearted and cocky when you first see him, he's the complete opposite when you truly get to meet him.
when he first arrived at bighit, she didn't dare talk to him (because of how scary and mean he looked), but one day he found her crying in a practice room and comforted her until she fell asleep, and she woke up still in his arms hours later. they never really became close after that, until something similar happened right after i-land;
ever since that incident, they're nearly inseperable.

these two love teasing eachother and are constantly making inside jokes. besides jake, he practices his english with her. they're ni-ki's unofficial translators.

nari compares jay to a breath of fresh, crisp air.
just when she thought she was growing into a world
filled with boys who had no true idea of what love looked like, jay came and swept her off her feet.
similar to engene, jongseong continuously raises nari's standard for her future love.

no one has been able to figure out an accurate description for what jayri's relationship actually is. though some find it creepy to say they're both flirty and like siblings in the same sentence, that's what they are. there's never been a video where the pair aren't making googly eyes at eachother one second and being held back by the members the next.

it's known jake will drop anything to take care
of nari. anything.

if she's feeling sick he'll be by her side, force-feeding her traditional medicines and homemade soups to help nurse her back to health.

when she's feeling anxious about something he's always there to put his hand in hers and not let go until she feels better.

contrary to jay, he's more careful with the jokes he makes at nari, knowing she can be extremely sensitive some days — although she'd never admit it.
if someone hurts her feelings or is fighting against her, even if he disagrees with her, jake will take her side and defend the girl as if his life depended on it.

apart from holding her hand a lot of the time, he spends a large portion of his day kissing her forehead as well, knowing it's one of her favourite things
for them to do.

nari fell in love with his aussie accent upon their first meeting. since their debut, and spending every second of every day with one another, she's picked the annunciation up from the boy, even surprising jake with her correct use of slang every once in a while.

this pair is always taking pictures with eachother,
of eachother, and of the others.

they know they're attractive. oh, they know.
one of the most iconic sungri moments is in the final episode of i-landers where the past competitors return to bond with the final group. when sunghoon was asked if he honestly believed he was the #1 visual out of all of them, he said yes.
but then, they asked nari the same. at first, she denied, putting on a front. a few seconds later, k starting dying of laughter, telling her "you know that's a lie." she'd finally given up and said yes.

sunghoon provides a different kind of comfort for
the girl, despite knowing him for a lesser amount of time compared to the older members. he's somehow always there when she's facing the biggest critiques of her career, and he's able to catch her from slipping into a deep depressive state every time. the mood he's able to put her in is insane, considering it only takes a few words to accomplish.

these two are unstoppable.

sunri have a very love-hate relationship.
with the mix of nari finding different ways to make sunoo mad, and sunoo always threatening the girl with chocolate ice cream... it goes without saying that these two are a mess and one hundred percent should be kept very far away from eachother.

with sunoo's bright and lively attitude and nari's sometimes rude-ish attitude, the rest of the members are always having to hold these two back —
constantly bickering over the smallest things, disputes that nari starts, teasing one another, him threatening to send her to the tobato dorm.. you get the gist.

besides what most people see, they actually really care for one another. at the end of the day,
nari knows she can always count on sunoo when she's stuck in a difficult situation. they know how to comfort one another when one's feeling down, considering they're both the group's mood makers.

since sunoo has a sort-of weak stamina,
nari goes full mom-mode when she sees he's running on the weaker side. fans haven't really gotten to see this side of sunri, but it's one of sunoo's favourite qualities about the girl. he's resorted to calling her 누나 in times of need, not caring of the age difference as her maternal nature reminds him of his own sister.

with jungwon being the leader, and nari having what felt like millions of their seniors as friends, he felt an even bigger responsibility over her than he did with the other members. he's felt the need to protect her from anything and everything since even before being named leader of their team.

for nari, it's like having bits and pieces of both jay
and heeseung combined in the yang boy. since they're
less than a year apart, the best way for her to
describe him is a wise kid.
she knows how big his title of being the leader is, so she's always finding ways to help his job be easier. whether it be translating questions or comments during lives, giving him a shoulder massage, or helping with his school work — she's there.

the girl finds jungwon very cute. like, baby cute.
she's always reaching to pinch his cheeks and poke
his dimples, as does he. they're very frequently seen pushing into the other's cheek holes, as nari used
to call them, and find comfort in doing so.
she admires his bravery to be able to step up and take the very demanding position at only 16—
she looks up to him.

plenty of theories have been made of what these two really are, however nothing has been said.

these two only need about ten minutes to have a choreography memorized. they both know a crazy amount of choreographies to a crazy amount of songs.

nari is always there to help ni-ki understand something when it comes to the korean language. whether it be he needs a fuller explanation or a translation, she's there along with jay.

these two are almost impossible to wake up in the mornings. they'll groan, whine, and eventually begin kicking you to go away. it's even worse if they're sleeping in the same bed.

these two also cuddle — a lot.
not so much in public or in front of the camera, but in their normal, every day lives. sometimes nari will see ni-ki doing nothing and just go in between his legs and hug onto his chest like a panda on bamboo,
but he never minds.
considering they're both people who can't sleep without hugging something, when they cuddle, it's like heaven for the both of them.

along with forehead kisses and head rubs, nari loves getting her face peppered with tiny kisses.
