the camera moved from showing a wall to showing the couch in BigHit's Artist Lounge, where viewers saw Ni-Ki.

though it took everyone a while to notice, NaRi was also there, laying on his lap as she faced down.

neither of the two noticed, the EN- TER KEY cameraman simply wanting to capture a rare, sweet moment for ENGENEs to view, considering the most the two babies of the group would do in front of people was hold hands or hug the other.

a bit of time passed, NaRi lifting her head, looking back at the younger boy. she smiled a bit, crinkling her nose. Ni-Ki lightly chuckled at her cute action, leaning in to place a kiss on her nose (as he knew that's what she wanted). she smiled a bit after he pulled away, letting out a contented sigh, laying back down fully. he let out another laugh, going back to play on his phone, the other hand moving to play with NaRi's hair.

the Japanese boy had felt.. out of place for a while. it'd already been months since he'd been in his comforting motherland— the negative feelings he'd tried so hard to suppress becoming too much to handle.

no matter how hard Ni-Ki had tried to feel happy in the once unfamiliar land he now had to call home, nothing seemed to work. sure, he had his new family who all helped him feel welcomed.. but something was always missing.

at this point in time, he found himself laying in his bed, attempting to somehow distract himself with his phone. his fellow maknae was laying in the bed directly across from his, still asleep as it was the group's off day.

he checked the time, 11:35 am.

he scrolled through his phone a bit longer, still attempting to distract himself from the neverending sadness that panged his heart.

he let out a groan, i don't know what to do.

without hesitation, he got out from his bed, moving to the one NaRi was sleeping in. he carefully picked her up, carrying her towards his own bed with him. well, that was easy. he layed back down beside her, big spooning the tiny girl. this feels better.

he stayed like that for a while, simply laying with NaRi in his arms, taking in her comforting natural vanilla scent— sometimes lifting his head to admire the girl's features, the ones he thought were the most beautiful in the world.

the girl began to stir awake, causing her to unconsciously turn her chest to face the boy's, making him smile a bit. "why am i not in hoon's bed, riki?" she mumbled out, somehow already knowing what language to speak in so early in the morning.

he lightly chuckled, "because, i was lonely."

she sighed, wrapping her arms tighter around the boy. "fair enough."

the pair stayed like that for a while, Ni-Ki's hand moving up to play with NaRi's hair. he stayed awfully silent, though— this making NaRi suspect a hint of sadness in the boy. "is there a deeper meaning to the lonely you were talking about?"

he let out yet another sigh. "you're too good at this, arredondo."

"yes, you should know this already. now, talk so i can help you, nishimura."

"not much, really.. just feeling a bit homesick, is all. i really miss Japan, my family.. you know.." Ni-Ki slowly mumbled out, making NaRi open her eyes to look up at him.

she stared at him for a while, her tiny hand going up to wipe the stray, almost invisible, tear that'd slipped from the younger's eye. she pouted a bit, moving up to peck the cheek the tear had been on. "you know it's okay to feel like that, this is still all so new. no one can expect you to get used to foreign land so quick. it'll always take time. there's no need to worry, we're all here to help you through everything. you know that."

he managed to get a grin out, looking down at the girl, "you always somehow know what to say, don't you, mireia?"

she chuckled, tucking her head back into the crook of his neck. "of course, it's the whole soulmate connection thing, right?"

this made him laugh out loud, "you're right, of course!"

they laid in this position for a while; although the words NaRi had said to him had helped for the most part, there was still a sort of pang of sadness hitting his heart. he sighed out,

"noona?" he lightly whispered, causing NaRi's ears to perk up.

"yes?"

"this may be too much to ask... but do you maybe still remember some Japanese dishes you learned forever ago?"

she poked her head up, "of course i do, why do you ask?"

he hesitated a bit, "could you make one for me, please?"

she grinned at his cuteness, "of course, riki. you know i will."

NaRi ended up spending close to an hour making NiKi one of his favorite Japanese meals, the younger boy keeping his arms wrapped around her waist the entire time she cooked.

"surprise!"

it's no secret that ENHYPEN's maknae is one of the world's biggest ShaWol's. it's also not a secret that ENHYPEN's other maknae is SHINee's baby.

NaRi has been around Ni-Ki during many of his fanboy phases, which she finds utterly adorable. she decided to surprise her fellow maknae one day, a brighter smile on her face than usual as she made her way into SM Entertainment.

she'd gone to hang out with as many of her older friends as she could that day, today being one of SHINee's off-days before their latest comeback, Don't Call Me.

of course, the four were found in a practice room, as EXO's Kai had informed her beforehand. she walked into the practice room, slamming the door open. "i'm here~" she announced excitedly, the four members' heads whipping to the side.

Onew, MinHo and TaeMin all exclaimed her name, running up to see their beloved girl. Key, however, groaned. "what are you doing here, brat?"

she looked up from the shoulder her face'd been buried in, MinHo's, "shut up. you know you're glad to see me~" she teased, walking to hug Key.

she stayed with the group of four for a few hours, all catching up with eachother as it'd been months of being all together.

it neared the time she'd promised to go see EXO, a small sigh leaving the girl's lips. "i have to go.. i'm only here for so long today and i promised to go see everyone else," she began, "i also wanted to ask you guys for a favor..."

"no."
"key-hyung, c'mon, please?"
"no."
"please?"
"no."
"JINKI-HYUNG!"
"what is it, baby?"

she smiled in victory, sticking her tongue out in a teasing manner towards Key who only scoffed and stuck his tongue out back at her. "so~ you guys know my group, right?"

the leader raised an eyebrow, "...yes?"

"okay.. basically.. the maknae is a really big shawol and i'd really like to take him one of your guy's albums signed and even maybe get a letter from Min-hyung..." she rapped out, an innocent smile on her face afterwards.

the four took a minute to process what she'd said, a smile sneaking onto TaeMin's face soon after. "of course, na! you know we'd do anything for you."

Key scoffed, "maybe you would do anything for her... i wouldn't."

NaRi's happiness was stripped from her face at an instant, her gaze burring holes into Key's eyes as his did the same. "okay, sure."

to reduce the amount of bickering the two would do, MinHo turned NaRi around, sending a threatening gaze towards his member. "go get an album, please!"

Key smiled a bit, chuckling. he left the studio to get a new album, bringing it back to the room.

the four members signed the album, the maknae leaving a special note in a separate paper for her fellow maknae, leaving a smile on NaRi's face.

after her day at SM, NaRi was forced to return to BigHit, where her members found themselves.

she walked into the artist lounge, the signed album in a paper bag. "hi~" she greeted upon seeing the maknae line squished on a couch together. "can i see you out here really quick, please?" she asked, the Japanese boy immediately nodding.

the two walked out of the room, NaRi bringing him to a conference room. "what are we in here for? are you gonna kill me?"

she looked at him with an amused smile, "no, not yet. i got you something!"

"what do you mean? weren't you at the company all day?"

she nodded, "yeah!"

"then what could've you- OH MY-" Ni-Ki cut himself off twice as she brought out the all-too familiar album.

she held the object out towards the boy, Ni-Ki's gaze flickering between her and the album. "who's that for?" he gulped, a nervous chuckle beforehand.

"who else, silly? you, of course!" she laughed, moving the box closer to Ni-Ki.

his eyes remained wide, the surprise taking a while to register in his head. "you went to SM to spend time with your hyungs yet you brought me something?"

"yeah..." she answered, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

he let out a breath he'd unknowingly held in, a bright smile appearing on his face as he tackled her into a hug. "thank you, baby!" he exclaimed, a small giggle escaping the girl.

"you don't have to thank me, of course i'd get this for you."
