[after the pitch-black darkness, the morning sun is rising]

[ but ENHYPEN is still fast asleep ]
[ they're all motionless while drifting in dreamland ]

"tomorrow, a wake-up song will start playing at 8 a.m. once you're awake, you have to come out to the yard."

NaRi groaned a bit, slightly whining towards the producers, "you know i can't wake up that early!"

NaRi was still in a deep sleep as the members began squirming out of sleep, Given-Taken playing as her dream's soundtrack.

the boys all began waking up one by one after JungWon had, the girl still remaining asleep.

the members began filing out one by one, Jay walking out with a blanket bundled up in his arms. the producers asked why Jay had a blanket bunched up in his arms, the rapper turning slightly to show NaRi, who was cocooned with the large blanket. the camera zoomed into the girl's face, viewers catching sight of her contented, sleepy smile.

"did you sleep well?"
"yes, we did!"

"..NaRi? did you sleep well?"
the girl lifted her face from the blanket, eyes barely managing to open. "if i could've slept for longer, yes."
the producer stifled his laugh, "it looks like you're pretty comfortable right now?"
she nodded, "i am. Seobie-hyung is comfortable."

the producer moved his eyes to Jay, "are you struggling carrying her?"
said member shook his head, "Mireia is really light. besides, it's not my first time doing this."

the camera shifted over the boy's faces, soon moving down to show NaRi's, who's eyes were just barely opened and who's face was still puffy.

[today's morning mission.]
the papers with breakfast menus written on them
are hidden across the yard!
must find the hidden papers in 3 minutes.
there are 14 papers in total and you get to eat the
menus you find!

the camera then cut back to the members, viewers now seeing NaRi standing beside Jay, the blanket still wrapped around her already multi-layered body.

"ready.. go!"
the boys, minus Jake, began running around the field, desperate to find breakfast menus. NaRi stood in her spot for a bit, mind still not working entirely. she simply looked around the spot she was standing, eyes scanning the area. by the time the three minutes were up, she'd picked up four pieces of paper, her face still reading pure exhaustion.

the boys walked back to where they'd been directed to stand, all quietly laughing at NaRi's tired expression. "how many papers did you find, princess?" HeeSeung asked the girl, causing her to look up. she showed the papers spread out, all showing different beverages they could choose from, the boy's eyes widening as he realized she'd also found four.

"you've found all the papers we've hidden."
"we'll see you after we've eaten breakfast!"
"bye~"
NaRi waved at the producers and cameras, her millionth yawn escaping her mouth.
the camera followed the group, viewers catching sight of the girl hurrdily running back inside the house with the caption "베이비 팬다는 그녀의 쉼터로 돌아간다" [baby panda returning to her shelter."

"thank you for the meal!" the members all exclaimed, NaRi seen taking tiny bites of her food as she was still tired. she finished her plate a few moments after the boys had, a small "thank you for the meal," sounding from the girl.

"have you finished eating?"
"yes!"
"then let's finish up here and after taking a little break, we'll go hiking."

NaRi's eyes opened wider than they had all morning, a small groan coming from the girl. "i hate hiking,"

"did you enjoy your meal?"
"yes!"

"this is the last mission."
"WOOOOO!" the now awake NaRi cheered, clapping in 'tiny'.

"we'll be climbing HomYeong mountain."
"BOOOOOOO!" she exclaimed, leaning on her hiking stick.

"hiking is exhausting, right? try to encourage the members who are lagging behind and display team spirit! on this hike, we'd like to see a display of team spirit."
"okay!"

the members turned towards the middle of the circle, touching their sticks together while chanting their usual chant.

"okay, fighting!"
"fighting!"
"do we have to do this? will i get fired if i don't?"

even though NaRi'd been the member to oppose the hiking idea in the first place, she was in the front the entire time.

the viewers got small clips from the girl's personal camera, many surprised at her calm breathing throughout the 3.2km of hiking up the mountain. she remained quiet, occasionally looking behind her to see how the boys were doing.

"are you guys okay? do you need another break?"
"are you breathing okay? pull down your mask a bit if you need to."
"unzip your jacket, you might overheat."
"be careful, please! it's slippery here."
"there are a lot of branches there.. don't get hurt."
were just some of the things NaRi had called out to the members who were trailing behind her in a line, her motherly nature coming out.

as the mountain got more steeper, and the members grew more tired, the boys looked up at the girl leading them in a confused way. "didn't Na say she was bad at hiking or something? why isn't she tired?"

HeeSeung heard Sunoo's question, a small chuckle coming from the older. "she works out a lot. she used to run miles a day to build her stamina when we were trainees."

"yay!" she cheered out once they'd reached the summit, relief running through her system.

the eight sat on the small rock structure, happy they'd reached the end.
"and on our way up here, i heard someone say, 'ENHYPEN, i love you'." SungHoon had suddenly confessed, causing NaRi to hide her small smile with her mask.

"i think we should hike more often."
"NO!"

NaRi's mini-interview popped up after HeeSeung's, a small pout on her lips. "i kept trying to make sure the boys were all okay, because i needed them to be okay. i really, really do hate hiking.. but i'd do anything for the members. i really think this helped us build our bond even stronger, even though it's pretty strong already. throughout the hike i just thought.. it's crazy how even if i despise something, i love doing it with the people i love most.', and those people are my members."

ENHYPEN'S PRACTICE STUDIO

[ENHYPEN has gathered to practice for their
first fan meet!]

as the members all admitted they'd forgotten the 10 Months choreography, NaRi stood in the middle of the practice room, showing what they'd forgotten.

like the boys, NaRi'd dressed super casual— considering it was only a practice day for the group. she wore black, baggy sweatpants, a beige-coloured oversized, baggy t-shirt, a bucket hat, and her black AirForce1's.

"10 months has the easiest choreography! i can't believe you guys forgot it," NaRi called out to the boys, making them all scoff at her.
"okay miss big brain.. not all of us have a big enough head to store all of this information!"

"c'mon, this is my favorite song!" she called out after HeeSeung had turned 'Flicker' off for the third time.

the girl, as always, had hit every beat perfectly— her body flowing along with each song they practiced.

"okay, lets do 'Boy In Luv'."
"i still can't believe you guys chose this song... anyways.."

the girl stood off to the side, singing and rapping the BangTan song— seeing as they'd all decided to leave this as a boy member-only performance for ENGENE— she'd be performing a song by herself, anyways.

"why didn't NaRi decide to do this song with us?"
she deadpanned toward Jay, "i did not want to sing 'i want to be your oppa'... no..... even though i could probably pull it off."

the video then cut to NaRi standing in the middle of the room, members sitting with their backs to the mirror. the song she'd decided to perform by herself was 'Eternally' by TXT— one of her favorite songs.

the video showed just a few seconds of her practice, her voice smoothly hitting the notes, also going lower with the rap parts.

NaRi let out a loud laugh at HeeSeung's sweat wings, laying on the ground.
"are you tired? should we take a break?"
"yes, please."

she let out another loud burst of laughter at the boy's thoughts of how the fan meeting would go, though she felt a small, almost invisible pang of sadness hit her heart as she realized she wouldn't hear ENGENE's cheers towards the group.

"it makes me really.. disappointed? that our first time meeting ENGENE won't be what we imagined.. but thinking about finally being with them after so long makes up for it in a way. i just hope everyone enjoys it and doesn't regret cheering for us until now."

FEBRUARY 5TH, 2021
ENHYPEN'S FAN MEET REHEARSAL

"hello!" she greeted, slightly bowing as she walked in along with the boys.

"let's say hello! two, three!"
"nice to meet you!" the eight all greeted, bowing at the staff that stood before them.

she sat along with her fellow 'Like' unit members, watching the 'Love Me Right' unit as they practiced on stage.

"Lee HeeSeung! Park JongSeong! Sim JaeYun, Park SungHoon! wait.." SungHoon began, a laugh escaping from NaRi.

NaRi, being the one sort of "in-charge" of creating ENGENE's fanchants, stayed quiet as she watched the boys try to remember the groups most basic fanchant.

the leader turned towards the girl, a determined look on his face. "NaRi. change it to this! Yang JungWon, Lee HeeSeung, Park JongSeong, Sim JaeYun, Park SungHoon, Kim Sunoo, Kim NaRi, Nishimura Ni-Ki, ENHYPEN." he rapped out the first part, expectant eyes lingering on the girl.

she let out a small chuckle towards her leader, "that'd be a lot.. i don't know, maybe."

a loud laugh rang throughout the venue as Jay came out with the bunny costume, NaRi running over to the boy.
"he walks so cute, too!" she exclaimed, still on the ground after she'd crashed onto it a few seconds prior.

"let's say goodbye! two, three!"
"thank you very much!" the eight members closed out the rehearsal, a relieved smile on their faces.

FEBRUARY 7TH, 2021
DAY OF ENHYPEN'S FAN MEET

NaRi was shown for a few seconds, her stylist 언니 finishing her makeup as the boys' were.

she let out a small "fighting!" as she walked out of the dressing room, the ghost of a smile on her face as she waved at the camera.

"it's time to go, guys."
"huddle up! one, two, three!"
"ENHA, ENHA, ENHA, ENHA, ENHA, ENHA, ENHYPEN!" the members all cheered out, nerves invading their insides as they started to walk out to the stage.

"one, two, CONNECT!"
"hello, we are ENHYPEN!"

a smile was on NaRi's face as they performed 10 Months, the smile growing bigger as she heard ENGENE's fanchant.

her laughs were heard in the following clips, the one that made both present and online ENGENE's indescribably happy.

she wasn't seen as the boys performed "Boy In Luv", a small clip after the boys' performance showing her putting her final changes to her outfit for her solo performance.

the next clip showed just eight seconds of her "Eternally" performance, her smooth, honey-like voice melting ENGENE's hearts.

for the group performances, she wore her usual performance outfit— found in chapter "border: day one album!

[the final stage is over...]
[ a surprise gift from ENGENE ]

as the clips of ENHYPEN & ENGENE's memorable interactions appeared on screen, the camera panned to the side, where NaRi's back was seen.

everyone knew she hated seeming vulnerable in front of people, so they understood her wanting to hide her never-ending streams of tears.

as the cutouts of ENGENE's messages to the group floated onto the screen, NaRi squatted onto the ground, her head in her hands. the tears seemed unstoppable, emotions overflowing her system.

the boys and ENGENE were able to hear her small whimpers from crying, NaRi ultimately moving the mic from her mouth as she felt the feelings intensify.

her head would lift back up, allowing the girl to read the heart-warming messages they'd received— soon moving back down as she prayed prayers of gratefulness, overwhelming sentiments of both happiness and sadness flowing through her veins.

as the names of ENGENE showed up on screen, the girl stood up and turned around, her body slowly lowering into a complete bow, the crown of her head facing ENGENE. she felt it was the least she could do, being able to feel more love than ever.

the video showed NaRi's final ment, one that warmed the heart of their beloved ENGENE.

"uh.. wow, i didn't expect to cry so much," she paused, both her and the boys letting out a chuckle. "i really never thought i'd receive so much love and support after debuting as the only female in a boy group.. i thought i wouldn't be accepted and instead somehow be forced out of the group.. but i wasn't. and instead i was introduced to the people who've grown to love me for who i am, ENGENE. i'm always grateful for you all, and love you twice as much as you love me. thank you for today. i'll work hard to become someone you're proud of."

"this has been,"
"ENHYPEN!"

she held Sunoo's hand as the eight bowed their final bow, a small smile still on her face.

she waved goodbye, eyes still glimmering from her tears.
