she went through a majority of the rest of her female idol group groupchats, starting the conversations with virtually the same thing every time.

the girl put her phone down after a solid half hour of texting her female idol friends, a huge sigh escaping her lips after it all.

KBS song festival D-DAY,
after the event

the long yet exciting night ended, NaRi's heart pumping out of her chest in pure excitement. she couldn't hide it from the boys, either.

"are you that excited to finally leave us?" SungHoon asked, a pout formed on his lips as he turned to look at the girl.
"mhm." she answered, the smile still on her face.

"this is no fair. why don't we get to do these types of things?"
NaRi turned to look at the maknae, who hadn't let go of her hand since the event had ended. "didn't you literally spend hours playing games with Shota?"

"yeah but-"
"and Shotaro hyung?"
"but-"
"and Asahi hyung?"

"and Haruto even though you almost kicked him out twice?"

once the eight arrived to their dorm, the girl quickly changed, having asked her manager to wait for her for a bit.

she rushed around the rooms, making sure everything was tucked away into her duffle bag for the long night.
the boys sat in the living room, watching her with puppy eyes.
she glanced into the room, giggling at the sight. "c'mon! it'll be fine!" she exclaimed, then opening her arms, gesturing for the seven to give her their usual goodbyes.

"bye guys, don't call me every hour!" she shouted as she shut the door, laughing at the now muffled exclaims from the boys she'd locked inside. she walked towards the car, opening it to find a smiling manager.

"hi, Na, you ready?" the male asked as he pulled out of the driveway, beginning the short drive to the hotel.

the girl's groupchats were blowing up on her way to the designated place of arrival, all of the girls who'd promised to bring something verifying they'd remembered whatever it'd been.

"okay, Na! here we are," the manager said, putting the car into park before shutting it off, knowing he had to go inside to check in.

the process took no longer than five minutes, NaRi poiltely standing beside the older male as the two spoke about the reservation that'd been made a few days prior. she'd noted down everyone she'd invited, giving the receptionist the list as her way of granting the girls' access as they arrived.

she and the male soon made their way to the top five floors, all being ones Bang had reserved for the night. she looked around once she'd opened the room to the suite, eyes glistening in surprise and excitement.

"wow, BangPD really hooked you up," the manager said, also amazed at the room he was standing in.
"yeah," she mindlessly said, putting her bag down.

the male chuckled at her somewhat dazed state, "well, i'll go down and wait until a fair amount of the girls get here. you know to call me if anything happens or if you need something, hm?" he said, the girl immediately nodding.
"thank you, hyung!"
he smiled, "no problem, Na,"

she was left alone for a mere three minutes before a knock came from the door, NaRi opening it only to find the ITZY girls.
"hi, 언니s!" she greeted the five with hugs, opening the door wider for them to pile inside— not expecting to see the other nine JYPe idols directly behind them.

soon enough, the door was knocked on every three to five minutes, the last ones to arrive being the four YG girls.
the others in the room looked at the entrance in a state of shock, however the four were quick to let them relax around them.

the DREAMCATCHER girls had promised to bring boxes of fried chicken, the assortment of flavours having costed them a fortune, however they didn't mind as it was party for NaRi.

the STAYC girls had brought three flavours of 떡볶이, even though NaRi'd initially refused, seeing as she'd just recently met them.

as a sweet treat, which had come as a complete surprise to NaRi, the ÆSPA girls brought boxes of different flavoured bingsu, the four knowing it was a commonly enjoyed dessert.

Somi had so graciously texted her manager, asking the male to bring them bottles of different drinks, having asked all 66, excluding herself, what they wanted to drink.

the others had promised to help make the gathering more lively, Momo having forced their manager to bring the group's karaoke machine up to the top floor— which took twenty minutes on its own. someone had brought a huge game of twister, someone "for the girls", someone brought their WiiU, others their Nintendo Switch, and some other small card games that could be played in smaller groups.

once everyone and everything had arrived and was set up, NaRi decided to break the subtle awkwardness she felt between the newly deuted girls and their intimidating seniors— practically forcing everyone to sit in a circle with her.

"okay," she called out, clapping her hands. she looked around, noticing everyone's eyes had turned towards her, the girl giggling in slight shyness.
"there's people here a lot of you don't know... let's change that!"
the girls nodded at her request, still looking at the girl.

"okay, JuHyun 언니, SeulGi 언니, SeulWan 언니, SooYoung 언니, and Yerim 언니," she called out the older SM girls, the five smiling in response.

given the five were Red Velvet, everyone sat in the circle knew exactly who they were, feeling weird sitting so close to them.

this went on until NaRi had called out all 66 of her guests, the newer idols feeling a mix of both shyness and relief— knowing their idols knew their name for even a second.

a bit of time had passed before one of the girls suggested they start with a small game, SooJin suggesting truth or dare with a slight raise of her eyebrows.

"okay, 언니," NaRi said to the Seo girl, "truth or dare?"
SooJin thought for a second, her lips pursing a bit before she answered, "truth,"
NaRi thought for a moment, eyes lighting up as she came up with a question, "what's the worst thing anyone has done to you?"
"be my company." the girl instantly replied, the others' mouth slightly widening in surprise.

"okay.." NaRi trailed off, slowly removing the hand that'd shot up to cover her mouth out of surprise. "SoYeon 언니, truth or dare!"
"dare!" her lively voice called out, making everyone internally coo at the girl's duality.
"empty out your wallet and show us what's inside!" YuQi called out, faking a cough afterwards.
everyone chuckled at the girl, SoYeon glaring at the Chinese girl before going through with it, a few won and cards falling onto the floor. the Jeon girl had been quick to catch YuQi and ShuHua's flying hands, slapping them both before showing a sweet smile to the group.

NaRi giggled, moving onto another girl. "hm.." she trailed off, looking around the circle. her eyes lit up when they landed on a new friend, "SiEun 언니! truth or dare?" she called on the Park girl, the latter's face slightly flushing in surprise when she'd realized all the attention had been placed on her.

"hm.. truth?"
"hm..." NaRi trailed off, eyes trailing towards Rei who'd lifted her hand a bit, "i have one!" the girl softly said, NaRi smiling as she nodded in encouragement, silently telling the girl to say it.
"what's the most recent lie you've told?"
SiEun thought for a second, eyes subtly trailing towards Yoon before she lightly giggled.
the Sim girl chuckled, "why?"
"i told Yoonie her mic was good when it was off.. SeEun helped her afterwards," her mind had trailed back to earlier that day when that had, infact, happened.
Yoon's eyes widened, lightly slapping the older girl, "that's not nice!"

"how about NaRi? truth or dare!" Hoshiko called out, NaRi lightly glaring at the girl, Hoshi glaring back. NaRi knew she could never win against her, though. "dare."
the older's eyes lit up immediately, "i dare you to go home," instantly left her lips, NaRi playfully rolling her eyes as the other girls laughed.
NaRi threw one of the pillows she'd been holding onto for a while, the Suzuki girl catching it, throwing it back,

only for it to hit YeJi, who'd been playing with NaRi's hands. the Hwang girl's eyes widened, throwing the pillow back, only for it to fly to J, thus starting a pillow fight between the sixty seven girls.

it was a mess.

the fight lasted for a few minutes, the initial two culprits sitting out twenty minutes in, cuddling on one of the large beds, their eyes trailing after the flying pillows,

and girls.

eventually the large group calmed down, all laying on eachother, some with new friends while others stuck with familiar ones.

SiYeon had suggested someone call out a random question, directed at one person or not, and however many wanted to answer could, if not not. the girls immediately agreed, SiYeon being the first to ask.

everyone's eyes trailed around the others, knowing some had hidden their responses.

the girls all looked to Lisa whose eyes were trained on the ground before she looked up, giggling. "i'm joking,"

"ooh~ why don't we ask our host a few questions now?" E:U asked, the others immediately agreeing, watching as the girl's face gradually turned a deeper shade of pink.

NaRi cleared her throat, "hit me."

"hm.. oh!" SuA began, shifting so she was now sitting on her knees, "what were your first impressions on your boys?"

various oos sounded through the large room, the girl looking at the ground in deep thought.
"HeeSeung hyungie.." she trailed off, the girls' attentions all on her.

"i met him the day he came to the company. i thought he was adorable when i first saw him, even though he was obviously older than me,"

"Jay hyung.. i thought he was so~ scary when i first saw him!"
"yeah, same. i'm scared to go up to him,"
NaRi only giggled at the words, too deep into her mind to care about who'd said it.

"JaeYun hyung.. i thought he was really cute when i first saw him on the show," she admitted honestly, some girls nodding in agreement.

"SungHoonie hyung, he was so~ cool when he'd first arrived. i thought he was a celebrity," she chuckled at the thought.

"Sunoo hyung.. i thought he was really adorable, like a baby.. but now he's a little bitch to me,"
some of the girls lightly gasped at her words, all giggling afterwards.

"JungWonie hyung," she began, "i thought he was.. cool. he looked really cool but also cute,"
"do you still think that?"
NaRi looked up, locking eyes with Jisoo who'd asked, the older knowing what'd happened with the two. NaRi showed a closed-mouth smile, "yes, 언니, i do,"

"what about Ni-Ki? you two seem.. close,"
NaRi smiled, "i thought.." her mind once again trailed back to I-Land, the first time she'd ever seen the boy.

"he intrigued me. i'd never had someone else be as good as me or HeeSeung.. i felt the need to get closer to him," she spoke honestly, looking up when she heard Lilac's voice, the girl showing a small smile.
"of course i did,"

the small icebreaker games had eventually come to a close for the large group of girls, some beginning to split off again as they found their sources of entertainment.

the newly befriended Rei, Hoshiko, and Giselle plopped themselves beside NaRi, who was sitting with Minnie, Nayeon, Lisa, and HanDong.
"do you think our companies would let us go live?" the Naoi girl asked, NaRi pondering on the question for a moment.

she then shrugged, "i'm not sure.. i know Bang wouldn't have a problem with me going live.. i can't say the same for anyone else, though," she softly frowned, the girl nodding in response.

the idea of going live continued running through her mind, NaRi's hands mindlessly reaching for her phone, unable to stop herself from clicking the 'start live' button on the app.

"everyone! let me introduce you to who i have with me~" she said, showing jazz hands as she poorly covered WonYoung's face.
"it's.." she trailed off, "IVE's Jang WonYoung!" she announced, the room of girls all clapping at the announcement. said girl's face turned a shade of pink as she covered her smile, lightly bowing towards the phone. "hi, ENGENE, it's nice to meet you all,"

"and with her~ we also have the rest of the group!" NaRi said, moving a bit so the other five could show their faces, also introducing themselves.

NaRi lightly snickered as Irene picked up the cards, moving forward so the YG girls could move out of the way, seeing as they weren't allowed on anyone else's videos without their company's permission.

the girl placed the phone against a prop, standing in the middle while the older girls placed themselves around her.

she and the others laughed as they watched the comments fly, some waving and smiling at the phone before YuQi had taken the lead in introducing herself, followed by the rest of the group.

NaRi soon walked back towards her original place, wedging herself between Somi, Sumin, Senna and Serim. "it's like an S meeting... weirdos," NaRi commented, the Jeon girl lightly smacking the back of her head.

NaRi turned to the camera, pointing an accusing finger at the girl, "everyone! do you see how mean Ennik 언니 is to me?!"

"of course i know them, snowdrops~ i sat backstage at their debut showcase," she softly spoke, looking up when she saw the seven figures moving towards her.

she smiled again, moving backwards for the girls to fit in the frame.

"for those of you who don't know them~" she began, "what are you doing with your life, first of all," she said, smacking her lips as she clapped her hands together, the girls laughing at her words, the background still filled with yells and play-fights.

"this is FREESYA! they're under me:tear entertainment.." she trailed off, looking at the girls for help.
"and we're good at making music??" Faye said, her heavy accent sounding through the space.
NaRi's face contorted to one of distaste, an ehh sounding from her lips, instead replaced by a fake cry for help when the Hwang girl put her first up, acting like she would punch the younger.

NaRi giggled, turning back to the phone, "yes~ they're very good at making music.. introduce yourselves?" she asked, turning back to the seven.

Hana nodded, lightly clapping her hands together before waving, "hi, ENGENEs~ it's FREESYA's leader, Hana!" the Park girl said, her members happily clapping for her.

"hi~ i'm Jiwoo!"

"hi," Hoshiko said, smiling, "i'm Suzuki Hoshiko~" she introduced herself, cut off by NaRi's loud exclaim.

the girl's head popped in, "sorry, she's my favourite," she shamelessly said, the others looking at her in offence.

"i'm Faye~ nice to meet you~" she spoke, viewers hearing NaRi's mocking of her accent in the background. the Hwang girl looked at her with glaring eyes, NaRi only giggling.

"and i'm Violet!" the maknae said, NaRi externally— loudly— cooing, as she found the, still older, Park girl adorable.

the girl continued the live for a while, showing different sides of her different friendships with the many different female idols— some of which shocked the viewers, as well as netizens later on.

the live eventually ended after two hours of the girls simply being themselves with very minimal filters on their words, seeing as they wanted to be able to do this again.

when it'd reached three in the morning, most of the girls had decided it was time to call it a day, finding their places to sleep.

IVE, STAYC, and FREESYA had gotten especially close throughout the long night, all 19 girls cuddled up within one another, sharing seven different blankets.

the remaining members of ITZY and ÆSPA cuddled with eachother, Somi eventually joining in the midst of her sleep.

the BLACKPINK, EVERGLOW, and DREAMCATCHER had found their pairs amidst the group, some sneaking out to sleep with some of the other groups as well.

as for our lovely host, NaRi,

she'd stayed awake until a grand majority of the girls had fallen asleep, her eyes happily trailing over the amount of sleeping figures sprawled around the apartment-sized hotel room.

she looked down as her phone screen turned on, softly smiling as she saw JungWon was calling her.

she stepped into the bathroom, quietly closing the door. "hello?" she spoke into the phone, hearing a soft chuckle from the other line.
"hey Nanie,"

"hi, hyungie.. everything okay?" she asked, practically whispering as to not wake up any of the light sleepers.

"yeah.." he trailed off, quickly sucking in a harsh breath, "just missed you,"

she smiled, tracing a pattern on the sink, "i miss you guys too.. it's weird, not being around you,"

he chuckled, "i can imagine.. how many showed up? i couldn't tell from your story,"

she lightly yawned, rubbing her eyes, "sixty six, not including myself,"

"holy.." he trailed off, the girl giggling, "yeah,"

"well.. did you have fun?"

she perked up in excitement, even if he could see her, "yeah! everyone got along super well.. some that i wouldn't expect, either,"

he smiled, "glad to hear that,"

she hummed, yawning again, "i think i'm too tired to function right now.. i'll call you in the morning?"

he nodded, "of course, everyone's sleeping here, too," he paused for a millisecond, "just wanted to call and say goodnight,"
