"guys!"

"YES!" NaRi yelled out from beside Jake, awfully excited for this show. the boys chuckled a bit, "we gotta decide what clubs to join today."

"well, i'm quite interested in the MC-ing club!" NaRi yelled out, the fake enthusiasm showing through her expressions way too clearly. she looked at the producers, an expectant look on her face. "was that convincing enough?"

they didn't get a chance to answer, though, as TXT were now walking into the stage. NaRi's head whipped to the side, eyebrows furrowing up. "BOOOOOOOOOO!" she yelled out, making her members laugh aloud.

"hello, freshmen! and.. NaRi.."

she gave a teasing scoff, quickly replacing it with a soft smile towards the older boys. she cheered along with her fellow freshmen, excited to see what they'd be asked to do.

NaRi watched intently as HueningKai was asked to make up an acrostic poem, becoming even more intrigued when Taehyun volunteered to do one himself.

"Tae."
"Tesla, i'd rather choose,"
"Hyun."
"Hyundai."

her eyes widened upon hearing this, the roar of laughter becoming too hard to hold back. she clapped loudly for Taehyun, making the blonde send a cheeky wink to the younger girl.

she watched closely as her seat-mates created their acrostic poems, laughing after each one. Beomgyu and Taehyun then shifted their eyes towards the girl, causing her to slightly flinch.

"NaRi~~~"
"hey, hey, hey... they already told me im MCing, do i really have to do it?" she slightly whined, a pleading expression in her face.

the boys all laughed, Taehyun putting his hand to his chin as if he was thinking. "hm... sure."

hearing that simple word made her the HAPPIEST person on Earth, ultimately making her jump out of her chair to give the two a hug.

she cheered loudly to JungWon's poem, a light 'WOOOO' escaping her lips. we gotta let them know we're good

she looked expectedly towards her fellow maknae, another loud wave of laughter erupting from her mouth after hearing Ni-Ki's awfully simple, but clever, poem.

"Sung."
"SungHoon,"
"Hoon."
"is good-looking."

the camera suddenly panned to NaRi, an over- exaggerated yawn escaping her lips. she then sent a loud "BOOOOOO" to the boy, making him hold up his balled fist, as if going to punch her. she did the same, a 'threatening' look on her face.

"i think all eight of you seem to be talented in art, so you're all worthy to join the art club."

"anyone want to join the art club with members of the best visuals?"

NaRi looked around, slowly raising her hand.

Jake caught sight of this at the same time SungHoon did, both pointing accusing fingers towards the girl. "YOU JUST SAID YOU'RE NOT JOINING THESE CLUBS?!" "MOON YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS!"

she looked at the two, a shocked expression on her face. "excuse me, i just claimed my spot as the most good-looking member, as i should."

the two scoffed, causing Soobin and Heuningkai to burst out laughing. "okay, Jake and SungHoon!"

"me and Heuningkai will take turns drawing pictures, and you will have to guess what they are." Soobin explained, causing NaRi to raise her hand. he sighed, "yes, NaRi?"

"you two are the worst at drawing, though." she mumbled out, loud enough for the two to hear.

the leader and maknae's mouths both dropped to the ground, Yeonjun seen behind them laughing. "that's my girl!"

she giggled a bit, "just kidding~"

she watched closely as Heuningkai drew the first word, still trying to convince people to join their art club. why does that look like- wait... you know what... nevermind. that's too graphic.

"did you all have fun with the art club's quiz?"
"NOOOOOOO~" NaRi yelled aloud, Soobin now on his way to the girl.

"excuse us," he said to the camera, turning to block NaRi out of it's view. the rest of the members were then shown watching, small, muffled screams heard from the other side. Soobin was then shown turning around, a toothy, bunny-like innocent smile on his face. he then moved away, NaRi now shown, looking as if she'd been smacked a few times.

don't worry! that's not what happened! .... i think.

"the next club is now the dance club."
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" NaRi was heard yelling, making Yeonjun simply smile at the girl.

NaRi stayed in her seat as her seven members walked to the middle, waiting to show off what they all "got".

she lightly cheered for Ni-Ki, laughing loudly as HeeSeung showed off his cute butt-dance. she continued cheering for the rest of her members, tiny "woop!"s coming from where she was sitting.

she looked over as the other group began to shout, loud cheers now coming out as Soobin and Taehyun went to the center.

she watched quietly as the boys raised their hands for their choice of club, groaning as HeeSeung's compliment made Yeonjun smile.

her lips formed a pout, as if she was sulking. "don't compliment Yeonjunnie-hyung. he loves it and he'll replace me." she said, pointing towards her other beloved hyungie.

Yeonjun looked over to the girl, immediately running over to her. he engulfed her into a big hug, quickly planting a kiss on top of her head. she smiled a bit, sticking her tongue out to HeeSeung.

the 12 boys now had their designated-colored vests over their clothes, NaRi being the only one without one.

she stood in the middle of the three clubs, on a stool. she was still so tiny, though.

"okay, do you all like your clubs and your team members?" she asked, causing the boys to all applaud.

"okay, first.. let's start with the literature club. tell us about your resolve going into this battle!" she said, looking to the red team.

"AHHHHHH!"

"see how everyone gets nervous after we shout like this? we already dominated them!" Taehyun said aloud, meeting eyes with NaRi. she wore a sort of bored, unimpressed expression as she looked at the blonde. "eh, it was okay." she teased, making him jerk towards her as if he were to suddenly attack her.

"...yeah, yeah. next club please!"

she laughed as Soobin told her the two freshmen would introduce the team, "okay, go ahead~"

"umm.... we'll do our best." SungHoon said, NaRi now covering her face with her cue cards.

"winners always stand in the middle." Jake said, making NaRi look around as Heuningkai over-enthusiastically cheered for the boy. "i'm standing in the middle... thank you! thank you! i'm the winner of the day."

she was met with silence. "okay, dance team!"

she loudly cheered for Sunoo's lone chant, slightly cooing at his shy-ish reaction.

"then let's all shout 'FIGHTING!' with the resolve to give this your best! one, two, three..." NaRi said,

"FIGHTING!" erupted from the boys.

— School Club Battle

NaRi now stood to the side, her front still clearly visible to the viewers. a small smile adorned her face as the 12 boys around her excitedly cheered,

"we'll now officially begin the Find The Best Club Challenge. the club that wins each round will be given a star, the club with the most stars will receive a sum of money." she exclaimed, the smile from before once again errupting when the boy's excited cheers rang throughout the room.

— listen to a mix of three songs played at the same time. shout out the team slogan, then guess the song titles and artists to get a star.

"okay... now for the first question!" she slightly cheered, sending the queue to the staff member.

she looked to Taehyun as he shouted the team slogan, "yes?"

the older looked at her expectantly, NaRi now looking down at her cue cards. she gave off a surprised expression, nodding her head.

she gave the second queue, watching as the boys all returned to their focused expressions.

she looked up as Yeonjun shouted his name, a confused expression appearing on her face. he finally shouted the team slogan, a light "yes!" coming from her lips. he listed out the songs, "correct!"

she loudly laughed as Yeonjun celebrated with his small butt dance, a small roar of hype coming from the girl.

she looked around, a slightly teasing smile on her face. "we have..." she began to count, "three teams?! oh?"

Soobin looked up at the girl, mouth to the ground. "what was that for?! why are you breaking our spirits?!" he slightly shouted at the girl, making her shrug her shoulders. "you guys needed a boost. GET TO IT!"

"you're doing great." came from both teams, making NaRi pick her head up. "don't lie to them," she said, making the four blue-vested boys look to her. "YA!" they all shouted concurrently, making her laugh. "i'm just kidding~"

"hm.. this question may be easier for Hyuka.. let's hope i'm right," she quietly said the last part, causing said boy to whip his head around, slightly glaring at her.

she internally squealed as Ni-Ki sang the baby tune, eyes turning to crescents. Yeonjun yelled out his slogan, making NaRi slightly jump. "yes?" he listed out the three songs, making her hold in her chuckle. "WRONG!" she shouted, laughing when Yeonjun turned to her.

"wrong." she said to Soobin's answer.

she looked to Taehyun as he said his team slogan, eyes lighting up as he said the three correct answers. "correct!"

she watched with happy eyes as the team danced in front of the others, light giggles being heard by the viewers.

"first question, please."

she looked towards the dance club as their team slogan was said aloud, eyes now placed on HeeSeung. she listened as he slowly said the three idol's, smiling as he'd gotten it right. "that's correct!"

"moving on to the next question!" she lightly laughed as HeeSeung almost immediately called out his team slogan, giving him a head nod signaling to answer. "correct!"

"okay.. a bit more effort went into this question.." she cautiously said, waiting for the picture to be displayed.

she laughed as she was met with roars of exclamations, giving the chance to SungHoon after Heuningkai had confidently said the wrong answer. "Jay... and Soobin-선배님." she slightly smiled, "that's correct!"

"a quiz battle to win money for club activities! now for the Trivia Quiz~"

— listen to the question and write down the answer on the board. each team will win as many stars as the number of members who get the answer right.

"for the first one.. fill out the blanks to these show titles." she explained, lightly giggling as she knew her and Sunoo were the K-Drama connoisseurs of the 13.

"5 seconds left~" she warned, laughing again as she saw the boys' frantic faces.

"one, two, three!"

she looked around, bursting out into laughter as she read the blue teams' answers. she then turned towards the red team, a small smile on her face as she saw all four of them had gotten the answers correct.

"okay~ second question!"

NaRi had to physically restrain herself from exclaiming the answer in Renjun style, as she called it.

she lightly scoffed as the boys were all confused. "c'mon, guys! i had it stuck in my head a few weeks ago after hanging out with NCT-hyungs! remember?!"

"i can't believe you guys don't know.... *sigh*" she playfully sulked.

she looked over the teams as they figured out the lyrics, mimicking Yeonjun's "focused beak", just as Jay and JungWon frequently did with eachother.

"hold up your answers! one, two, three!"

they all held up their screens, NaRi now dramatically making her way towards the middle. she walked towards the camera, now (dramatically) singing the OST. "왜 너는 나를 만나서~ 왜 나를 아픈게만해~"

she continued singing... but the editor's cut it all out. she pointed at the team who got it right, now asking for the next question.

she watched with a small smile as each of the boys seemed to know the answer, "i hope everyone gets it right." she lightly mumbled.

she shouted a contented "correct!" as the answer appeared on the big screen behind them all, happy to see their own happiness.

"okay, i have to only give you 30 seconds for this next one~" she said as the next question appeared.

"fried chicken for dinner tonight." the boys all said together, making a smile make its way to NaRi's face. "everyone got it right!"

she signaled for the next question, reading it aloud for the 12. "one, two, three!" "amor fati, good job!"

she asked for the bike-station question, a small smile once again coming onto her face after seeing Sunoo's confidence shoot up. "one, two, three!" she counted down, scanning over the twelve answers shown to her. "wow~ i didn't think everyone would get this one!"

NaRi stood back, watching the boys open their first boxes.

"okay, ready? go!" she announced to the teams, already excited to see how this would go. her eyes immediately turned to crescents as she watched SunKi's almost playful nature, her heart feeling warm.

"a bouncy ball?"
"wrong."

"shower towel!"
"thats what's written on here, correct!"

"okay.. please open box #3... ready? go!"

she giggled as she watched Yeonjun and HeeSeung's rather close game with the harmonica, shouting a 'nope!' when Yeonjun had guessed a toothbrush.

"uh.. uh.. a nail clipper?"
"nope."

her eyes widened as HeeSeung guessed harmonica, an excited "yes!" escaping her lips.

— there's a starting point and a goal marked on the floor. one member will use a huge badminton racket to serve a shuttlecock from the starting point. the other three members of the club all have to hit the shuttlecock once and land it into the goal. each team wins as many stars as the number of shuttlecocks they can land into the goal in 90 seconds!

"okay! 'you can be a dance master too' will go first!" she exclaimed from where she stood, off to the side of the stage.

"oh! can we interfere when the other team is playing?" Heuningkai asked the girl, making her deadpan. "NO!"

a small smile creeped onto her face as she heard the new "TOMORROW BY TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, FIGHTING!" chant made by the four boys, her heart swelling with joy.

"okay!"

"ready? go!"

her eyes followed wherever the shuttlecock was tapped to, this game somehow entertaining the young girl.

"done! dance team won 4!" she announced.

she watched as the literature team began, physically holding her laughter back as Yeonjun called Jay the weak link of the team.

"you can do it, Jay hyungie!" she cheered for the older boy from afar.

"done! 4 for the literature team!"

she watched as the boys all cheered FIGHTING! for the TXT leader, NaRi smiling, "Soobinie-hyung~~ don't suck!"

he sent her a slight glare, making the girl giggle once more.

she watched the final team's turn with widened eyes, a bit surprised at their awfully good chemistry.

"done!" she exclaimed.

NaRi once again stood in the middle of the 12 boys, "now it's finally our last segment! United! the telepathy game," she read aloud,

— listen to the keyword and strike the same pose to win points. a game to check if the members of the same club really click!

"this is for 10 points." she continued, "since we're really looking for teamwork here. yes, it's 10 stars."

"in first place, is the Dance club, 'you can be a master dancer too!' team!" she announced, watching as the four boys walked to the middle.

"Riki," she called out to the youngest, "yes?"

"tell us how you'll play,"
he lightly smiled at her, "for now, i'll do my best so that i won't regret this." he answered back, making a small smile reading okay then appear on NaRi's face.

"Sun?" she asked for the boy,
he looked up at her.
"you think you'll all strike the same pose?"
"of course." he answered, simply. she laughed a bit, "okay, then!"

"the first keyword for the telepathy game, ballet. one, two, three!" she counted off, laughing when she saw the result of the team. she put down her cards, a loud clapping erupting from her tiny hands. "that's what i expected!"

"dinosaur! one, two, three!"
she looked at the four, walking over to them. "hm... the fingers... should i take those into consideration?" Ni-Ki flashed her a cute grin, showing off his seperated fingers as she stood beside him. she giggled a bit, looking to Sunoo. "hmm..." she pondered, "doesn't that look a bit more like a tiger-"

before she could finish her thought, she was interrupted by his team members.
"no!"

she took a step back, "well then,"

she stared at Yeonjun for a while, "okay, pass."

"okay, let's go to the next one..."

"ping-pong... one, two, three!"

she once again faced Sunoo who was a bit different from the rest. without her saying a word, the boy immediately began defending himself. "nope, nope. this is right, nana! you can't tell me different! this is right!"

she then heard the complaints and critiques of the other teams, practically forcing her to not give them the point.

Yeonjun looked down at the girl, who was now looking at her cards. "is it over already?"

she looked up, "oh, yeah! go sit down."

"we won't get hurt." Taehyun said to the girl beside him, making her look up in confusion. "that's... good to know?"

"now... crab! one, two, three!"

she watched as she counted down, body immediately crouching to the ground as she laughed at their drastic differences. she said nothing else while standing up, "okay.. moving on!"

"weightlifting, one, two, three!"

she, once again, watched closely at their posing. "hey! hey! that was slow! that was too slow!"

she moved over to hush Sunoo, covering his mouth with her hand. Beomgyu quickly ran to the girl, wishing to clear the confusion up. she watched as he passionately explained his posing, a smile coming onto her face. "okay." she simply replied, making the boy smile at her.

"selfie! one, two, three!"

she laughed quietly as their last poses were shown, lightly groaning as Beomgyu moved to her once again to explain the team. "but you have to understand-"

she cut him off by placing her hand over his mouth.

he bit her.

"the protagonist always turns the game around!" NaRi looked up at the boy who'd proudly exclaimed this, an unpleased look on her face. "okay, buddy. keep telling yourself that."

she stayed quiet as the rest of the team gave their final words before competing, small chuckles escaping.

"okay.. elephant! one, two, three!"

her face turned to that of surprise as the four all gave the same pose, eardrums exploding when the green team, who happened to be seated beside her, began screaming over how jake had posed with his arms the opposite way. she immediately walked over to cover their mouths with her hands, Yeonjun and Sunoo both simultaneously slapping them away.

"okayyy.... that was wrong." she announced, covering her ears once again as the green team cheered.

"basketball! one, two, three!"

she laughed as she caught Soobin's initially clenched fists, once again running over to 'attack' Yeonjun for being so loud.

"okay.. yeah.. i can't give it to you.."

"the last question! washing your face.. one, two, three!"

she watched as the four posed the exact same, becoming a bit skeptical at Soobin's remark "how'd we all get the same?! wow!"

she smiled as she heard HueningKai's loud laugh, seeing how happy they were to finally get a point.

"the final results!" she began, watching as the 12 boys' eyes trailed back up to her. "will be shown on the screen.."

"now, for the final results!"

".....drumroll please." she asked, looking at the twelve. they all began beating on themselves, giving her the drumroll she asked for.

she smiled, signaling towards the board. she gave a light cheer towards the third place team, now getting ready to announce the first place team.

"the final score of the literature club!"

"...but before that." she interrupted their anxious wait, causing all of the boys to groan.

"NARI!"
"what now."
"UGH!"

she lightly giggled at their reactions, "please share how you've felt today so far!"

she listened to the boys' heartfelt responses to her question, her face playfully morphing into disgust. "yuck." she said, making the boys all look at her. "hehe, just kidding~"

before announcing the first place group, NaRi walked to the staff, and returned with a large cardboard piece. "what's that??" the boys asked.

she turned it around, "800,000 won. it's for club activities!"

the boys all stayed lined up, NaRi still in the middle.

"NaRi~ show us!"

"okay, okay." she gave the sign to the staff, now turning around herself.

she watched as the results showed the teams seperated by one single point, NaRi now physically shuddering. "that one point difference makes me, ugh." she said to no one in particular, suddenly remembering I-Land.

she clapped for all three teams, now waving the camera "goodbye!" as the first episode came to an end.

NaRi now played part of the teams, her still standing in the middle. one of the staff called out "heart!" for an extra mini-round of telepathy including all 13 members — she gave a big smile as she sent the same hearts as the rest of the boys.
