210222, from, NaRi
NaRi woke up from a nice nap, immediately catching site of HeeSeung hovering above her.
"hyung? what are you doing?"
"uh.." he began, sort of nervous.
"why do you have the phone?" she asked him once she'd seen the phone in his hand.
"Bang-PD nim wants to talk to you.."
she chuckled a bit, "okay, hand it over."
"hi, boss." she spoke into the phone, voice still a bit hoarse from her sleep.
"NaRi."
she almost gulped from the seriousness in his voice, "yes?"
"have you checked twitter in the past five hours?"
she furrowed her eyebrows a bit, "no? i've been asleep. why?"
"go check. then text me."
he hung up after saying those five words, NaRi's heart now racing, mind clouding with questions.
she unlocked her phone, chucking HeeSeung's to the side. she opened twitter, eyes widening as she clicked on the Trending page.

"why would i be trending out of nowhere?" she asked no one, going to click on the topic.
the top tweet caught her eye immediately, one from an anonymous account, a full note in Korean.
claiming she'd bullied them in middle school and in high school.
she chuckled a bit, HeeSeung now coming into the room.
"what'd he want to talk about?"
she whipped her phone around to show the older boy, now it was HeeSeung's turn to become surprised. "what?"
"yeah, that's what i'm saying."
"but, you've never gone to a public school here? there's not even any sources about your schooling anywhere, really...why would anyone believe that?"
she sighed, "i don't know, hee. you've seen all of the claims against other idols recently... guess it was my turn?"
"but why would anyone talk so badly about you for no reason?"
she paused, thinking. "i.. don't know. i guess cause i'm tied with some of the groups competing in Kingdom right now, maybe that's why? or.... i don't know. i thought the hate of ENHYPEN having one girl was over, i guess not."
HeeSeung looked down at the girl, who's head was now facing downwards. "baby, don't get discouraged."
she let out, yet another, sigh. "i have to text PD."
she pulled up his contact, "i saw the tweet."
he answered back almost immediately, "good. what do you want to do? i can make a statement right now, or someone else can?"
she immediately responded, "no. i'm gonna do this myself, i'm not gonna rely on others to speak on my behalf. don't worry, i got it."
this text put a slight smile on Bang's face, "you always do."
she sighed, slightly slamming the phone into the bed. "guess i gotta go make a video to post."
HeeSeung sadly smiled at the girl, kissing her forehead. "let us know if you need any help."
she walked out of the room, quickly walking back in. "wait, i have to get a hat for my hair."
the girl sat the camera up, sitting in front of it. her face read a mix of both distress, calmness, and a bit of anger. she took a deep breath,
"hello, it's ENHYPEN's Kim NaRi."
she closed her eyes for a brief second, ready to spill everything out.
"there's been some rumours circling around twitter since yesterday about me.. i honestly never thought it'd come to this, but there's a first for everything, right? i didn't want either company, BigHit nor Be:Lift, to make a statement about this situation, i knew i was the only one to be held accountable to address this entire situation. i will be explaining everything in both English and Korean in this video, i will also be subbing this entire video myself in various different languages so more people are able to understand."
"okay, so.. i'm pretty sure you've all seen the claims on SNS, that's why you're here, watching this video.
OP states that when they were in middle school in Anyang, where i was a student, and they were my senior. they said i started out as a good student, always respecting them and other seniors, but one day i started changing. they claimed i began using physical violence against other students, them included. later on, they said they'd moved to Seoul from Anyang, now a student at SOPA. the next year, i showed up at Hanlim School as well, they said. they said i hadn't changed since middle school, and i was now using words as well as physical violence. they also mentioned early on how i'd used my 'being a trainee at a rapidly growing company' as an excuse to commit these malicious acts."
she looked back up into the camera after reading off of her phone.
"okay, here's where my statements begin. first, i've never been to a public school in Korea. the only in-person school experience i have is from when i was 4 until the age of 6, when i was still in America. since then, i've attended school through online.
second, still dealing with the school situation.. i've never lived in Anyang. since coming to Korea with my brother and mother, i've only lived here, in Seoul. for middle school, i was enrolled in Seoul International Middle School through online. throughout my time in that school, i was blessed enough to begin my courses at SOPA. because of my early enrollment, again, through online, i am projected to graduate this coming year, still through SOPA.
third.. i never like doing this, but honestly.. if you read closely, OP's words don't match up. it says that she'd moved to Seoul to study in SOPA, and i showed up at Hanlim a year later. i've never been enrolled as a student at Hanlim Multi Art School.
fourth, hardly anyone ever knew about my training life at BigHit. after Samuel was with SEVENTEEN before their debut and left the company, i was never really seen on camera again. even then, people didn't know who exactly i was. BigHit always kept me sort of underground, and i respected that and never let anyone know, except for other idols.
now, i'll explain in English."
"okay, so, i just explained everything in Korean, now i'm moving on to English,"
and so she restated everything from before, exactly like she had with Korean. the last thing she'd want is for her words to be twisted up into something she hadn't said, hence why she wrote everything down.
"i sincerely hope you all watched this video until the end. i don't know why someone would make these claims about me, but i hope it never happens again. i am here to say this,
i, Mireia NaRi Arredondo Kim, BigHit trainee, now turned only female member of idol group ENHYPEN, have never used such malicious actions or words against others around me, let alone in school. i've never attended a public school in Korea, and have never been a student at Hanlim Multi Art School, or a middle school in Anyang, South Korea. i've been enrolled in both Seoul International Middle School and Seoul School of Performing Arts through online courses.
i sincerely hope these words make you all believe me. if they don't, and you all still choose to not support me, fine. but never, ever use this as a way to hate on my members OR to start fanwars with other idols i'm known to be friends with. please, please don't ever involve my personal 'drama' with others.
and if any of you happened to get upset or worried for me, don't worry. i'm okay. i hope you all are, as well. and remember, don't ever lose your morals over KPOP.
thank you."
the camera was cut off, a loud sigh now escaping the girls mouth. she immediately went to Weibo, creating a statement for her Chinese fanbase. she practically summed up everything from the video, now in Mandarin.
though it took a bit for the video to transfer onto the computer, she began subbing the video in six different languages almost immediately.
she finished about four hours later, another loud sight coming from the girl.
the members slowly opened the door to the small room she'd been in, tiptoeing inside.
they greeted her, sadness beginning to creep up to them as they saw NaRi's upset expression.
she sent them a small smile once she'd heard shuffling behind her, feeling grateful they hadn't left her behind.
"what if they don't believe me?" she asked suddenly, causing the boys' heads to perk up.
"what are you talking about, NaRi? the video debunks everything that post claimed."
she looked down at her shaking hands, "i know. but still, there will always be that person."
the seven members all stood at the same time, now walking over to engulf NaRi in a hug. it helped her calm down a bit, head perking up once she heard a 'ding!', signaling her the video had finally posted.
"okay, let's just see how everyone reacts, i guess."
from the video, almost everyone believed NaRi.
what she'd said was true— OP had switched up the schools, there was absolutely no evidence of Samuel living in Anyang when him and his mom had moved to Seoul at age 11, anything.
17 TV watchers from before SEVENTEEN had debuted had also spoken up, claiming they'd seen a small girl running around the practice room, but was really never seen again after the youngest trainee had left.
numerous accounts began to send their apologies to NaRi, claiming they didn't know exactly what to do, considering another one of their favorites had been accused of being a school bully within the span of a few days.
who was behind this all?
the number one NaRi anti, "jen!".
she'd become upset after she saw everyone taking NaRi's side, also after seeing how NaRi had released her own statements, not the companies.
her plan had failed.
🦇 ... 끝!
part 2 of "accusation?"
