the girl was brought out of her dreamstate with kisses being peppered all over her face, sightly opening her eyes to find the one and only Lee HeeSeung hovering above her.

she scrunched her body into a fetal position before spreading her limbs, a whine of satisfaction sounding from her lips as she did so.

the red haired boy watched her with humoured eyes, giggling as she finished her morning stretch.
"good morning, princess,"
her cheeks puffed as she grinned, eyes still halfway closed, "good morning, hyungie,"

at this point, the members had all woken up, the others groggily making their ways around the dorm thanks to the cold that'd sneaked in from the outside.

the girl had decided to keep her blanket tightly wrapped around her body, her bare feet hitting the freezing tiles sending shocks of crisp waves through her body. should've worn socks, sorry mom

their staff members had told them to arrive at the company with bare, yet prepped faces for their makeup for the event.

she sat in the vanity room alongside three of the members, all going through their usual skincare routines with droopy eyes.

"hey, 언니," she sleepily smiled at her makeup staff member, the older smiling down at the girl as she lightly patted her head.

"can't fall asleep on me today, Reina. i've been given an.. intricate look to do on you," she grinned, NaRi lightly rubbing her eyes with her hands. "okay, 언니," was all she said, taking a sip of the drink the older had bought for her, knowing it'd keep her awake.

the staff member started with her usual base, leaving powder baking NaRi's face as she created her eyeshadow look.

NaRi looked in the mirror, eyes widening once she observed the look.
"언니! this is the best you've done!" she happily exclaimed, the boys shooting out of their small naps to look at their girl.

multiple compliments, from both the members and their staff members, started sounding through the room, smiles on their faces as they watched her face slightly flush out of shyness.

soon enough the boys were done with both makeup and hair, some beginning to change into their 'intro' suits as it was easier for them to arrive to the venue with them on.

she glanced over as JungWon was the first to walk out with his white outfit, cheeks slightly flushing out of amazement at how the leader looked. she'd opted to stay quiet, as she knew she'd get teasing glares from the others for complimenting the Yang boy.

she waited a bit longer for her hair 언니 to tap her shoulder, letting her know she was done with her mission for the moment. they'd decided on keeping the style quite simple, as her outfits and makeup would shine through— simply curling NaRi's hair in looser beach waves, tucking the middle section under the rest of her hair while leaving her front two strands out.

the girl smiled at her reflection, pleased with her look. her eyes trailed towards her robe, slightly pouting as she knew she'd have to leave it's warmth in a few minutes.

"okay, NaRi~ it's time to change,"
"what if i say no?"
her stylist 언니 tilted her head, slightly pursing her lips. NaRi only sighed, knowing she'd never win an argument against the older. "fine.."

she walked into her seperate dressing room, eyes brightening at the sight of her white dress and heels. "wa~ it's so pret-" she began, however cut herself off, dramatically turning to look at her stylist. "IT'S SO COLD OUTSIDE!"

the staff member chuckled, "yeah.. i tried asking if you could wear pants but they said no.."

NaRi frowned, childishly crossing her arms. "is it because i'm brown?"
her 언니's eyes widened in surprise, the older not knowing what to say at her sudden statement. she noticed her expression, the girl giggling. "i'm just kidding, 언니~ it's okay, i don't mind,"

it only took a second for the girl to change,

the boys' eyes all widened as their mouth dropped when she walked back into the room.

"you look so pretty, Mitsu," the maknae said, giddily smiling at the sight in front of him.
"he's right, Mire,"
"you look beautiful,"
"wow."
"wanna kiss again?"

even if they weren't all fluent, all six members turned to look at the leader with hardened eyes, NaRi's face gaining a newfound blush.

he grinned, "i'm just kidding~"

their vans arrived to the KBS venue at their scheduled time, Jay holding NaRi's hand as they quickly walked inside the building.

the girl was shaking when they got inside, even if it'd just been a short walk. she clung onto Jay's arm, searching for warmth even through her long padded jacket.

they were taken to their small waiting room, the boys asking for a blanket for the girl immediately.

truth be told— NaRi was everyone's child. from MNet ( her least favourite company ), to President Moon ( who'd known of her after meeting BangTan, somehow. )— she was loved by virtually everyone in the country.

upon hearing their requests, the staff members quickly brought back a fluffy, light pink blanket for the girl to use. she smiled gratefully at the familiar staff member that'd handed it to her, thanking her.

the group was taken to the stage, all eight's eyes slightly widening when no other group was on the platform.
"are we first?" HeeSeung whispered as he held her hand, helping her to the second level, NaRi hesitantly shaking her head, "i guess?"

she watched as the rest of the idol groups were taken to their places on the platform, eyes crinkling in delight everytime she saw her friends, ideas igniting in her mind when she saw those who she wanted to be friends with.

the girl took in a small breath when the countdown was given, a small smile unconsciously appearing when she heard EunWoo start his opening monologue.

a bit passed, the girl halfway slipping into her performance mode when the three MCs began singing together.

she smiled when the white curtain had finally fallen, watching as the camera panned around all groups present. her eyes trailed after the different cameras, the girl having to hold in her laugh everytime someone had done something funny.

she noticed as the camera man directed the camera back to her, eyes instantly finding the flashing red light. it immediately dawned upon her that she'd be the ending fairy, a small smile appearing on her face as she sang the final syllables.

they were informed they first had to film their interview with both MuBank MC pairs, the girl excited as she'd be able to see Arin after a while.

she carefully stepped into the platform, Jake and Sunoo having offered their hands as forms of stability as she had to stand between the two.

she smiled at Arin and SooBin as they and SungHoon and WonYoung got in their places, the older girl quickly running towards NaRi.
"hi, Na! how are you?" she beamed at the girl, hugging her.
"i'm good, 언니, i missed you," she lightly frowned, their heads turning to the side as the staff members began their countdown.
"i'll talk to you after," Arin quickly spit out, returning to her place.

NaRi's eyes slightly crinkled as she watched the two pairs say their introductions, remembering how happy SooBin had sounded when he'd gotten the email telling him of this opportunity.

she watched as TXT gave their introduction, lightly clapping afterwards.
"we'll introduce ourselves, one, two,"
"CONNECT! hello, we're ENHYPEN," the eight introduced themselves, lightly applauding themselves as well.

NaRi kept a small smile on her face as the interview went on, cutely waving at the camera until the director announced 'cut!'

the group was taken back to their dressing rooms in order to get ready for their performance, NaRi still in a mild state of shock after her unexpected ending fairy. they're all gonna be staring at me when they watch it ew

the thoughts were quickly knocked out of her mind as her hair 언니 took her to the chair, applying some product so the style would stay intact during their performance. the older signaled towards NaRi's stage outfit, her eyes widening in surprise for the nth time that day.

she soon changed into a ruffly white button down, a brooch tie with jewels decorating the middle, a white vest with her usual number on it, and a leather skirt. NaRi's eyes fell to her super platformed black boots she frequently wore during performances, feeling relieved since she knew it'd either been those or actual heels. ( for whatever reason )

as she finished changing, her eyes trailed up to the small tv which hung from the corner, brightening when she saw her new 언니, WonYoung, in a different environment than she usually saw her in.

watching the performance, the girl was suddenly reminded how she'd yet to go live and dance to their groundbreaking debut song,

also how she wasn't friends with all of the members yet.

mission #1: become friends with IVE.

she was knocked out of her small daze with the staff members coming into the room, calling for the members to start moving towards backstage. the girl adjusted her mic, making sure everything was securely intact before following the boys out of the room.

the IVE girls crossed paths with the eight after finishing their performance, NaRi's eyes lighting up when they made contact with WonYoung. she carefully reached out for the girl, telling her to check her phone as she'd sent her a text before walking out of the room.

she'd quickly been able to knock herself into her performance mode, her facial expressions as they put on their jackets luring the audience deeper into their performance.

once the group's performance ended, the girl smiled as they walked off stage, knowing everyone watching was in for a surprise— possibly even two.

NaRi sprinted back to their room, wanting to catch as much of STAYC's performance as she could.

mission #2: become friends with STAYC.

she lightly danced along to their songs as she watched the performance, the boys watching her with amused eyes as their makeup and hair got fixed.

"c'mon, Reina, we've gotta get you ready, too," her makeup 언니 said, physically turning the girl around with her hands.

she pouted, however her expression completely changed when she saw the lineup of her next stage's outfits.

she watched with a cute smile as the ToBaTo boys started off the performance with Candy, swiftly hopping into place when it was time for their part.

she wore a white t-shirt, wide-legged black and white track pants and it's matching cropped jacket with her... creased... Air Force 1s.

the girl's breath was slightly heavy when they finished their first song, a tired smile on her face as they ran off the center of the stage.

she whispered a 'sexy' as she watched ToBaTo's second performance, looking at HeeSeung as an energy boost before they ran on for their second song.

she and SungHoon opened 와줘... by SE7EN, the pair softly smiling as they harmonized the opening note.

NaRi wore virtually the same top as the boys, the stylists having decided putting a skirt on her instead of the pants.

she looked over as Mirotic began, a light 우와 sounding from her mouth before her stylist 언니 manually moved her body to face her own.
"i know you're in love with all of them but please cooperate, Reina," the older sighed, the girl giggling as she nodded.

she smiled as she watched the Bang Bang Bang unit perform. still salty they wouldn't let me perform even though i literally did the hey!'s in the recording... but whatever

as seemed to be the common theme for the girl's outfits, her stylist 언니 put her in a black, short dress. she glanced at the older in confusion, sighing in relief when she held up a white corset to put over it. to go along with the boys, she layered a longer leather jacket over the combination, forcing her into platformed black laceless boots for the Growl performance.

contrary to her own belief, NaRi was able to dance comfortably while singing over the pre-recorded cover, harmonizing where she needed to smoothly.

the girl was covered as the other boys filled the stage, rapidly switching her corset for chains and belts, her final look resembling the iconic 190607 j-hope.

she winked at the camera as she and YeonJun took center position after Ni-Ki, ending the rather challenging choreography smoothly.

she smiled as she watched Jay finish the stage from the corner of her eye, lightly embracing the boy after the camera had cut off.

she was given a rag to wipe the sweat off her being, sighing in relief as she realized how much time she had until her final collab stage.

NaRi danced along to all of the performed songs, adding more missions to her mental note along the way.

mission #3: Kang Daniel.

*flashbacks to 꼬리 cover when SUNMI went on stage*

the girl wasn't able to fangirl over her 언니, sadly, as her makeup 언니 took her back to her chair, starting on her look for the collab stage.

she'd practiced hard for the opportunity, however felt sad as she hadn't truly been able to become close with the unfamiliar female idols she was performing with.

she and the girl's hair 언니 worked on NaRi at the same time, making sure she looked as pretty as possible for her first all-female collaboration stage.

they soon helped the girl stand up, bringing her to her outfit.
NaRi changed into a pastel blue tube top, a slightly checkerboard-printed fuzzy cropped cardigan, a white pleated skirt, and her white combat-style boots.

the girl lightly smiled at her reflection, fixing her mic when the staff member popped her head inside the room,
"miss NaRi, we need you out here, please!"
"네~" she replied, the boys standing to place a good luck kiss on her forehead, multiple 'fighting!'s sounding through the space.

she smiled as she walked out of the room, focusing on controlling her breathing up until she saw the idols she'd be performing with.

she lightly bowed at the group, the staff lightly touching up her hair up until they went on stage.

NaRi took a final deep breath as the cameraman counted down, flying into her performance mode when the countdown got to 0 in her in-ear.

the girl felt lighter as the performance went on, the concept of the stage being a complete 180 of what she's been used to since..

forever.

it was nice, though.

she soon came off the stage, the seven all lined up behind the stage to greet their girl. she covered her face with her hands out of slight shyness, seeing the flowers they'd somehow brought for her without having her notice them.
"you did so good, baby,"

she sat through the remaining performances with an unconscious smile on her face, continuing to dance and sing along to the ones she knew— which, truthfully, was every one.

she eventually had to change back into her white outfit, the group soon being escorted to the final all-artist stage.

she refused to be seperated from her HYBE hyungs— so the staff let her stand with the æspa girls. she smiled as she video began, hiding her face when she saw the flashing red light pointed at Winter, who was right beside her.

she watched the monitor, silently dying of laughter when she saw SooBin and SungHoon. man i just lost 50 bucks

her mic was actually turned on— meaning she actually had to sing. man i shouldn't have chose this job.

she restrained her giggles as she heard the faint ad-libs behind her, DAMNIT there goes another fifty

ITZY were somehow able to steal her from her spot— the six girls dramatically singing towards eachother during the end of the song.

the girl ran back up with the boys, standing in front of Jay and Ni-Ki as she waved goodbye to the camera— ending a happy event.
