Author's POV.

"I-I am sorry " Arjun once ignored that he heard something but again he heard the same whisper which was little broken.

He himself was feeling broken!

He wasn't happy to ignore her presence near him,it pained him but it pained him more when he saw her and remember her words. He saw her and remember the look she was giving. The emotions her eyes were reflecting.

Its pained him to death, when you love someone dearly and that person misunderstood you and that also they assume the thing you never ever thought about.

Two weeks in L.A was nothing but a torture for him, after realizing he love her and he love her deeply madly, deeply enough to cut his heart onto pieces only see her smile that scared him.

He don't know what to do! He wasn't good with his heart and emotions. He always fight with them. He didn't want his heart to trust someone again and then get broken. If this time then it will be beyond repair. He didn't want it!

But he also can't leave away from her, she is his obsession, the mere thought of her going away from him or from his life scared and angered him same time.

He was very angry on her for saying all this but he was sad more but after today's incident he was angry on her beyond anything. He wanted her to say something or even fight for there relationships but it was like she wasn't willing too.

His jaw clenched and fist too when he heard her sob in the pin drop silent surrounding. He was controlling himself from consoling her, from saying that everything is fine when nothing was fine.

He didn't turn till now and was ready to go to his room when he felt a soft touch in his hand. Her hand were tumbling, it was like she was hesitating to touch him. He stooped and let her do whatever she wants.
She didn't said anything for few seconds but then said slowly

" I am sorry. I am sorry " she chanted with sobs in between. Meera just wanted to shift the burden of guilt from her, she had enough! She can't control more,her emotions,her feelings everything was pouring out.

He heard everything but still didn't opened his mouth. Meera was breaking bit by bit and having no reaction from him was breaking her more.

"Say something!! Please" she said in her pleading voice. Hearing her voice his heart clenched in pain making in more angry on him..

He was feeling the rage in him that can hurt her, he was angry on himself for feeling this much vulnerable, this much weak infront of her he was angry on his heart for beating for her . He was super angry on her for saying all this to him and not for fighting for them today. He was anger on the humiliation he felt by getting ignored from her, he was angry on her for ignoring him. He was angry on her for not understanding him ever after pleading..

He didn't want to stay there or say anything because he know his anger is something she can't face,because she won't be able to handle. But she wasn't making it easy for herself. She continuously provoking him to say something and he didn't want to say something out of anger and regret later.

"Please" he again heard her broken voice and now his control on himself reach to his peck.

He turned towards her pulling her to himself harshly. Grabbing both her arms in his hand he pulled her closer this much closer that there nose were touching.

Meera's breath hitched noticed the sudden change, she looked at his eyes timidly only to gasp in surprise and fear. His eyes were red! All red. His face was red from anger. Jaw clenched eyes red these all was proving that he was so angry.

Very very angry.

Arjun was continuously looking in her eyes who often control his anger but today they were reminding him of that night. Increasing the level of anger he was feeling.

"Ar-Arjun-" she started but cutt of by Arjun.

He had enough! He heard her enough. Now it was her who will listen not him.

"SHUT UP" he roared making Meera finch in fear. She closed her eyes tightly hearing his high pitched anger filled voice.

Sure she had seen him angry, but this! This was different. Usually he didn't shout at her, and try to control himself but now it look like he lost all the controls and was determined to make her see what the real Arjun is.

"Just shut up! Not a word ! not a single word " he said pulling her even more closer if possible.

She nooded timidly seeing the beast waking inside him.

"Why are you sorry??" He hissed.
"For what-what you are sorry huhh?? For assuming things without knowing?? For the blaming me for something I never thought of?? For ignoring me all the time or for-" he was cutt of by the hand on his lips.

Arjun was saying the truth! He was counting the list of wrong things she did which was breaking her heart little by little. As he started Meera's head hand low hearings how much she hurt him. How much she did wrong to him. She immediately put her hand on his lips to stop him when she can't hear more. She can't hear anymore.

"Arjun i-i -" she again started her apologise with head low when he put his hand on his chin and made her look in his eyes.

"Didn't I said not a word" he hissed controlling his anger and bringing his face closer to her.

By now Meera's tears were in no control. She was feeling afraid of him, she was feeling guilty, she was affected by there proximate. There all were bothering her, but the thing which was bothering her more was his words and the look in his eyes.

They were so heartbreaking!

"Why is always you to speak and me to listen!! Why is always you! Who always say whatever you want and I to only listen. WHY?" He said the last part in a scream.

Hearing him scared Meera turned her face to other direction while closing her tightly. After that she didn't felt anything for few seconds other than the grip on her hand loosen.

She opened her eyes when she heard him chuckling, a dark chuckled.

On the very next moment she felt a not so light push by him. She looked at him while balancing herself.

"Why Meera? Why are you turning you face away? Can't you listen the things you did only?" He asked and the very next second pulling her to himself again.

Meera was afraid will be understatement now. She was more than afraid. He was very angry, his rage was having no boundary. She was mentally praying to god to help her. She can't handle his anger.

"You know how it feel when you got blamed about something you didn't?? You know how it felt to be ignored all the time when you are trying you best not to be?? You know how it felt ??" He asked Meera this time in low voice which was filled with hurt. Meera looked in his eyes again hearing his word.

Unknowingly his word were breaking something inside Meera also. She was feeling the pain he was feeling now.

"I am a Man, no one dare to disrespect me I am a man who can never digest his insult, humiliation, a man of pride and self respect and its really hard for a man like me to digest his insult but I always did! Always whenever you ignore my presence whenever you ignore my words when I am barbering like idiot. Always Meera! On that night also. I ignore my insult. When you throw the cake, you insulted my emotions, my feelings, me but still I didn't said a single word to you. I always ignore all you disrespect,all your mistakes thinking it's only me who is at fault. It's me who married you forcefully when I know the reason is very right but still I endure all the insult just because you were unaware of all there but on that night!! You crossed your boundaries. Without knowing without asking you blamed me for something this much low!" He said whatever in his heart was. The thing he wanted to say from ages.

Meera shakes her head negatively as they wasn't her intentions ever to make him feel insulted, humiliated. Ignoring him was just a way to pushing her past away but it come at him in a wrong way.

Meera can't look in his eyes now, they were reflecting the hurt in his eyes. He was hurt beyond anything. He was angry beyond anything.

"Did I ever touched you without your consent? Did I? Did I ever showed my right on you? Did I ever touched you inappropriate?? Did I ever took advantage of you ??" He asked Meera and now Meera was drowning in guilt. She was regretting the time she even think about that.

"DID I?" he screamed on Meera making her shake her head negatively. Her eyes were filled with fear and tears, forehead was covered with sweat.

"Then why Meera? Why?" He asked. This time in whisper. As he asked Meera looked again at his face. She so wanted to answer him. To tell him the reason behind her this behaviour but it was like her mouth was frozen. They couldn't utter a single word.

After saying this he released Meera, she dropped herself in the ground by thund and looked up at him who was still clenching his teeths and fisted his hand. He still was angry.

"I-I have reason fo-for that" Meera whispered which was heard by Arjun. He looked at her with a cold face and said.

"What reason Meera? Let me know the reason that made you think this much low about me?" He asked lowering himself to her.

Meera looked at him with hopeful eyes that finally he was letting her speak but to her bad luck she couldn't utter a single word.

It is easy for someone to think that she will do it but it's hard to do and when you have to share the past you didn't with anyone you need courage. A lot of courage which she wasn't having seeing his face.

"I-I-" she looked down when she felt that she lost the chance to speak.

"Yes! Meera say I am giving you a chance. " he said encouraging her to speak. But again she couldn't.

Arjun was looking at her and unknowingly expecting that she will say something or will try to defend herself but he was hurt when he saw she didn't said anything.

He laugh sarcastically and then looked at her. He again looked at her but this time with hurt. Only hurt in his eyes.

"What reason?? Or there isn't any reason which can justify your act?" He asked and Meera panicked.

Now Meera was scared of him, sure she had seen different Arjun but this Arjun was new! And she didn't want to face him. He was ruthless,heartless,emotionless.

"Please believe me. I can't tell you" Meera whispered feeling defeated. Her head hang low in shame.

"Didn't I said the same. Didn't I?? But do you believed it? No! you assume things on your own" he said. Meera can sence the anger raising again inside him. His this word made her shed more tears and fist hand have in order to control her emotions.

"Now you know how it felt Huhh? Now you know how much difficult it is! The conflict between heart and mind. now you know when you can't tell the reason behind the act you did. How hard it is? Now it's my turn to assure things right? As you can't tell me the reason " Arjun said with a smrik. Meera's head snap toward him. She was looking at him in disbelieve.

No! No he can't..

He can't..

Meera's mind scream but the look in his face was saying something else.

He wasn't going to do the same mistakes she did! He was just making her taste her own medicine.

Meera's face was cover with horror and fear. She shook her head indicating him to 'no don't do it'

Looking at Meera Arjun smiled a bit. A painful one. He shoot his head and by other hand he grabbed Meera's face in his hand by holding her chin.

He made her look at her, his heart clenched seeing her tear stick face with fear in his eyes.he can't see her like this, he love her he can't see her like this. But as he looked at her and his anger again reached to his peck. He wanted all the frustrations inside him to be removed. He wanted all this to be out.

"Now you know how much its hurt when you desperately wanted someone to understand you and they misunderstand you?" He asked pulling her face closer to him. He clenched his teeths leaving her face.

He stood up and then laugh again making her scared the shit out of her.

"But you can't felt what I felt! You can't. You can never" he said feeling defeated by his love. He said smiling painfully.

"You can never because you didn't feel what I feel for you. You can never because you never tried to understand me. You never care for me that why you can't feel, I didn't hold any position in your heart, in your life as you did in mine so you can never feel, because you never loved me so you can never feel that. " as he said those word Arjun Meera looked at him with wode eyes.
But suddenly Arjun stood up and looked at Meera with red eyes . Meera gasped looked at him.

Was he crying?

"You can never feel the pain I felt because you didn't love me. I was hurt by you word because I LOVE YOU. My heart broke because of you because its BEATS FOR YOU. " he said looking at her with red eyes.

His words made Meera shut her mouth and eyes wide.

"I was heartbroken by you and defeated by my own broken heart" saying this he storm away to his room leaving Meera hurt, broken , surprised, happy , sad ,pain and what not.

She keep sitting on the ground for few more minutes registering his words.
She was in daze by his words.

She didn't know how to feel.
She should feel sad that he is very much angry on her or she should feel happy that somehow he realised all his anger by saying that things out!

She don't know how feel. She should feel feel happy that her husband loves her or she should feel sad as he was very much hurt by her.

She didn't know she should smile or cry on her fate. Her husband loves her , he confessed his love to her she should smile but her fate didn't let her. Her husband confessed his love when he was very much hurt and angry on her.

Her mind was in daze because of the new found news. Knowing he love her made her heartbeat go wild and cheeks turn red but then realizing the status of there relationships the blush fade away.

She stood up and went in the direction to his room.

Here Arjun was very much anger, frustrated, hurt and what not. Whatever he said outside was right but he didn't wanted to say it in that way.

He surely love Meera but the way he confessed wasn't the way he wanted but he wasn't regretting that he said whatever he wanted. Whatever was in his heart. He was feeling light after that. But the anger was still there,he punched the wall by his bare fist making the hanging photo frame drop on the ground.

Meera flinched when she heard the sound of his bare hand in contact with wall. A tear escaped from her eyes imagining the pain and rage he was feeling right now.

She touched the door softly after sometime when she didn't heard any sound. Assuming that he was sleeping now she smiled painfully.

"I know, I hurt you. I know my words hurt you and not any answer can justify the hurt , the pain you felt after hearing me or after my act. I know my ignorance hurt you and may be here also no justification can justify it. I know I did wrong by not understanding you. You severally said that to me that please believe you but I didn't but I have reason for that. May be that can't justify my every act but it was my sole reason for doing everything. May be I didn't have done that on that time. I should have talked to you but I-I can't. It's hard for me! Please forgive me" she said slowly. She couldn't said those word infront of him but now she said whatever she wanted but there was no use. He was there to hear her. He was listening to her. And she knew that. That made her cry harder.

She sat on the door feeling weak and whisper the word she wanted to ask.

"I know I failed you as a wife but Please give us a chance!"

But he was right...

He was hurt and every single word he said was right.
