Author's POV.

"He is gone " as soon as Meera heard this word her hope of asking sorry and talking to him drained. She felt like crying very hard so she without thinking much she directly run toward her room.

Her mother in law called her few times but she didn't stop.

Gayatri rajwanshi smile a bit when she thought how her daughter in law got emotional when her son was leaving. That made her clear all the suspicion she was having after coming here. But the truth was directly opposite and very heartbreaking.

When Meera was running toward her room she again heard that's girls voice talking to that man. With shivering hand she open the door a little and noticed that the girl was looking like a angry bull ready to kick someone to his death and that man look so frustrated, he was running his hand in his hairs harshly.

"What you did!! Stupid. Why the hell you dare to mess with Arjun?? You know very well if he come to know about it... it won't be very good for us!!" He growled.

"I didn't anything wrong!! I love him and I wanted him. And I will have him not that bitch Meera will have him!" That girl hissed.

That man turned to her and grabbed her arm forcefully. Way to much harshly for giving bruised definitely.

"He is MARRIED!get this in your head girl. Don't do something which will cost you a lot! Back off before it's too late !!" He said the first part in anger but the last part softly trying to make her understand.

Thay girl smile sarcastically shooting her head in denial she made herself free.

"What marriage brother?? That marriage which he did for saving someone life from being destroyed! That marriage in which he isn't happy! Which is a burden on him! "
She said with disgust in her voice. Meera who was still standing the door felt like someone stabbed her heart several times hearings her words.

"I saw them today and the difference between them was clear. The sadness the unhappiness was very clear to noticed. I can see they aren't in good terms even. And how can he be?? That girl isn't is of his type! Shd didn't even match his slight standard " that girl said with disgust in her voice like she was talking about some diseases.

"I still can have him! He will be mine not her!!!" That girl said with proud and attitude in her voice after a pause showing his finger to her brother like she was challenging him.

Meera can't hear more, do she just run toward her room and locked herself inside.

It was too much for her to know, the person she think forced her to marry him for her body was someone who did all this to save her dignity! Her life from being destroyed.
She never thought that the question which was eating her up, the answer she always wanted was this heartbreaking. Now she wish, she never wanted that answer! Now she wish she never questioned him!

Her mind started recalling the things she said to him.

How can I say those word to him!!

Her tears wasn't stooping at all, that girls words were running in her head.
What she did??
She hurt that Person, that person who listened her every hateful word, the wrong accusation and didn't said any single word back just for her !!

Why??

She was crying her heart out, the new found new was so breaking for her, she was in dilemma since morning that whatever she did was right or not and she was continuously saying that whatever she did was right but what now??

What now??

She is proved wrong!! Very wrong!

"I am sorry! So sorry " she chanted in between her sobs.

As Meera run to her room Gayatri Rajwanshi went back to the living room and saw that everyone was now sitting lazily, talking with each other, almost every guest were retires. Meera's family were also gone few minutes ago to the hotel they were staying.

She ordered the family members to go back to there room. The villa was big enough for everyone to stay! They were just obeying Gayatri's order when puja asked.

"Where is Meera aunty??"

"In her room " gayatri rajwanshi said while smiling softly. Hearing her puja frown, but then nooded her head.
She moved toward Meera's room to meet her, her sudden departure and her today's behaviour wasn't setting well with her.

"Umm puja, it will be better if you didn't disturb her! She is quite sad because of Arjun's departure " gayatri said hesitantly. She didn't want to hurt puja but also she saw how Meera's face fall when she said he was gone. And she thought its better to left her alone for sometime.

Puja smiled at her and then left to her room. She decided that she will talk to her in morning.

In car.

Arjun was driving himself today and Gaurav was sitting on the passenger site looking at Arjun and then outside the window. Gaurav can see the depressing in his eyes, the sadness, coldness in his eyes.

However Arjun hadn't told him anything about what happened between them but he can guess it was pretty bad by only looking at the look Arjun was giving. Gaurav was very sad for his only best friend. And the confession he did last night was a big shock upon all. He know earlier that Arjun had feeling for her but he didn't expect was he will find it out in his this vulnerable state. It pained him more for his friend.

He took a deep breath and remembered the incident which lead both of them to this marriage.

Flashback:- ( from chapter "I'll marry her" )

"Arjun what happene??" Gaurav Asked when he noticed that Arjun went silent all sudden after seeing something in his phone.

In confusion he took his phone from his hand and looked at the scene which shock him to his core.
It was a picture in which he and Meera were kissing! Well its look like they were kissing.

He looked at his friend whose jaw were clenches and fingers in fist.

He read the message under the picture.

" well hello there Mr. Rajwanshi. Hope you like the picture.

I didn't know you are just like your father! A great opportunist. A great businessman! Who makes deals by talking advantage of someone?

Or I am wrong here??

She is a whore , a slut servings herself for just mere a deal for her brother? Who he got today.

Now the whole scenario is clear.
You give that big deal to karan Singh, because of his sister was behaving like a slut which she is and serving herself to you!!

Just imagine the scene when this picture will be out in media but with a little lie! A spicy lie that" she the sister of Karan singh who just got the big deal from Rajwanshi's was serving herself to ARJUN RAJVANSH for just as an exchange of the deal for her brother " now that lie will really destroy your reputation just like years ago and will destroy her life for forever. She won't be able to show her face again in the society.

And if want to save yourself and herself from gaining this much publicity I warn you just ' STAY AWAY FROM HER! '

"Now??" He asked after reading the message. He know his friend very well. He won't be doing anything like that.

He can't do anything like this! Not something which will bring shame to his family or on anyone. He trust his friend very much to believe him rather to believe worse than a shit picture and a meaninglessness blackmail. He can solve this problem alone, he holds that power.

Be here he wasn't tapped alone , a girl's dignity was also on stake. He can't play careless when someone else like was also on stake.

"I will not let my family to face the same problem again !! History will not repeat himself " he heard Arjun's determined voice.

After sometime they come to a conclusion that if he get married to Meera than no one will be able to point them hy using any picture or something and her dignity will be saved. She will be saved from paying for the act which was totally accidental.

Flashback end.

Gaurav was brought back to his sence by the sudden pull forward. He was jerked forward when Arjun suddenly pressed the brakes when to reach to airport.

Arjun came out quickly same as Gaurav. He without saying anything started to move inside but stopped hearing Gaurav's voice.

"Arjun " hearings his name he stooped but didn't turn. He remember whatever ha said or happen last night and he wasn't ready to face him or answer any of his questions.

Gaurav sighed knowing his friend. He put his hand on shoulder.

"Arjun I-I don't know what happene between you two! Who was right who was wrong nothing.... but still I suggest you to think or take any decision after hearing her out. Please Arjun don't let your anger take over you!" he said all this still facing Arjun back. He know him, he may take any decisions which will harm his relationship in anger and he didn't want this for his friend. He know how much he cared for Meera and love her, and he never wanted any thing bad for his friend.

He said all those which was very needed for him . Arjun didn't said anything nor ever turned towards him. He just nodded his head as an indication that he heard him. Sighed Gaurav removed his hand and wished him a good bye.

"Have a safe journey and come soon"

After few minutes Gaurav also came back to his house. In the way he got a call from someone. He smrik picking the call and talked to that person. When the call end he was smiling so much but the smile wasn't a happy one it was a evil smile.

"Let's the game begin " he said still smriking.

Meera woke up from her sleep due to the sun peaking inside. She open her eye but then closed it immediately. After few seconds she again opened her eyes adjusting with the sunlight. She noticed she was on the ground like yesterday. Her body was again sore, head was hurtling like hell and eyes were swollen,red due to crying.

She stoop up and looked in Mirror. She was still in the dress she wore yesterday which was very uncomfortable. She saw herself and yesterday's event hit her mind like a truck. She remember everything.

Her eyes filled with fresh tears but before she again cry her heart out a knock disturbed her. Wiping her face and adjust her dress a little she opened the door, it was something she did everyday.

Everyday she woke up by a knock on her door by Arjun. She smiled thinking about that but smile got vanished when she noticed it was puja who was standing on her door.

Puja was smiling and as the door open her smile also vanished.

"Meera what happene?" Puja asked as she noticed her friend's condition. Swollen and red puffy eyes, face dull like they lose there colour, she was still in her last night dress.

"Nothing.... umm I-I didn't sleep well last night " Meera said looking down. Puja wanted to ask further but stooped and decided to have a long talk with her soon.

"Ok! Go freshen up and let's make breakfast like we use to do in Delhi " puja said trying to settled her mood. Meera also played along and nooded with a smile.

She decided to wear saree today as her In laws were here.
As she went down she remember how Arjun use to knock on her door every morning for breakfast. Unknowingly a smile crept on her face.

With the small smile she entered in the kitchen. Puja also was there and noticed the small smile. She sigh in relief when she saw her. Since yesterday she was worry about her but the smile with shining eyes was a relief for her.

After making breakfast they settled the table. After calling everyone they started there breakfast. During the breakfast Meera again get reminder of how he use to fill her plate without even asking or exchanging any words.

Again she smile lost in her thoughts.

Like that her day went with everyone. At then end of the day everyone was leaving. Meera's parent left in this afternoon and now her In laws were too.
She was left alone in the house, whole day everyone was surrounded her so she didn't felt lonely but what now! She was again alone.

Sitting on the couch she took a cup of coffee in her hand. She didn't noticed she was using Arjun mug.

She again thought about yesterday night.

How can someone scoop this low!

How can she do this!

How can she even think about it!!

Wasn't she a girl also?

Didn't she though about her even for once?

She was thinking about the girl, about the whole scenario. Suddenly she thought about him, her husband.

He did all this to save me!!

Save my dignity!!

Its correct that if those photos were leak then they would have bring shame for her and her family.

She can't even imagine the shams, the slander her family would have face because of her.

He married me for my own good and here I was blaming him for marrying me!!

His intention were pure still my thinking about him was so impure!!

The more she was thinking the more guilt was eating her up!

Her mind was blaming her for everything. Suddenly she got reminder of the flashed emotions in in eyes on that night. Her heart twisted in painful way, unknown a tear also escaped.

She looked up at the sky, where the moon was alone today, yes! whatever she was thinking about him is wrong but wasn't it her past fault that made her this much insecure!

Wasn't it her past who always play his games smoothly leave a rough memory back. Here also! It was her past fault fully, it was her past who played well leaving her where she started.

Will anyone understand me?

Arjun.

As she questioned herself her heart screamed his name. More tear flow from her eyes and a painful smile come to her lips.

Will he understand me?

Will I be ever able to make him understand??

Will I ever be able to open up??

She was getting depressed again. Her mind was making her think those all which she didn't want to. Again a sob left her mouth. She remember how he was asking for a chance.

Why Arjun??

Why you wanted a chance??

Is there any chance for me to leave my past and give a chance to you?

Is there any chance for ourselves togethers??

Is there any future of our marriage??

Thinking about all she slept on the sofa. As the next morning come, it come with nothing but with a restless heart and pain. Nothing but with respect for him, nothing but memories.

Like this 2 weak left, without any news any sign of him, with worry, guilt and restlessness.

Nothing was changed in this two week other than, Meera always getting reminder of him, the little time they spend together, and at the end of the day the truth of her marriage.

Nothing was changed other than Meera's behaviour, she started to feel something in her heart whenever she think about him, she started to smile only whenever she have her meal lost in her thoughts, she started to have hope that she will come home and find him. She always stay alone, she didn't talk to anyone anymore.
She didn't smile in front of anyone anymore. She was getting depressed day by day.

As the day went she was getting more nervous face him, but also somewhere she was afraid of his reaction.

Will he forgive me ever??

Meera was in her car coming home after a tiring day, as she came out of her car she noticed someone else car was also there.

She noticed it carefully and then her breath hitched, and realization hit her.

"He is back"

Now a days I am only writing author's POV. I find it more effective than giving the character's POV. Hope it's ok with you all?
But still I'll be giving Arjun and Meera pov in time interval.
