Arjun's POV..

"Anything else?" I questioned my secretary who was standing in front of me holding her iPad. She didn't said for a minute Just kept looking at her iPad. I picked my laptop bag and was about to go when she said.

"Yes sir" i stopped on my track and turned to her.

"Mr parker had a request" she said and I looked at her.

"He wants the meeting to be done earlier than usual " she said.

"Why the change? And when? " I asked her raising my brows.

"Sir day after tomorrow and he mentioned the reason " she pauses but then started again. "He is going to get married and he wants to spend his time with his wife" she completed and looked up.

Wife!

I sighed and said "book my to tickets for LA" I said to her and walk out from my office.

The meeting was supposed to held after a month but now day after tomorrow.! So I have to fly LA tommorow! The meeting was planned earlier we only has to sigh the contract and discuss some points. Other than this I have to see the site of the hotel and new offices building. In short I have to stay 2 long weak there.
Mr. Logon parker is my business associate's son. Same of my age. We meet sometime but its only professional.

I sat in my car and started driving to home.

Home?

I don't know it's my home or a building even now also. Its been 2 weeks from my encounter with Gaurav and the day I stopped myself from hurting my self respect.
I thought she will notice or even ask but no! She isn't what I thought.

I don't know what to feel about it! My mind was just fogged with her and only her!
I sometimes feel that I did a big mistake but I want to rectify it! And I was trying!

I shoot my head to get rid of this thought.i just thinking about it from last 2 weak and now I am tired. Now I think I should talk to Meera. I think we need to open up to each other.
I will tell her the reason why I forced her and may after confessing she may end my torture. And I'll have some peace.

As I stooped I'm front of my house and was about to go inside when my cell buzzed.
I saw it was phone from Karan.(Meera's brother)

I picked the call with frown.
He didn't call me more often we just talked when it's important. But it not like we didn't like each other. It's just a didn't feel to talk much.

"Hello"

I ended the call with a smile on my face. He informed me that tomorrow is her birthday and they will be coming here tomorrow.
It's a good day to talk to her! On her birthday.

I need to buy a cake!

I remember my birthday which was 20 days before our marriage. I didn't anything nor I am planning to do anything on my birthday in future also. But its Meera's first birthday with me.

I called the Baker shop and order them a cake for her they will deliver it on time.

After that as usual.

She was in her room I went there and knock but I didn't stand there for her, I went downstairs.

After few seconds she came. Today was something off! She look awful sad!

May be because tommorow is her birthday and she is away from her family.

I shrugged, now a days I noticed the food taste is change. Its Meera's made food.
She really cooks well!

Author's POV..

They were having dinner peacefully unawares of the storm coming in there life.
As per Arjun Meera was just eating her dinner silently but inside she was in a war with herself.

She also don't know why suddenly he didn't talk to her! She didn't have any problems with it but today she wanted someone by her side. Today his silent nature was disturbing her to the extend. She wanted Someone with her to deduct her pain tonight. She know she can't share it with him till now but may be his talk help in forgetting the pain for sometime but he was silent! In this house she feel lonely, but today she was extremely lonely. Her mind wasn't working, her panic level was too high ! In there days only Madhu aunty was someone she talk with but she also wasn't coming from 2 days nor be coming for next 2 months.

Tommorow was her birthday, the baddest day in her life. Everything started from that day!
Her fear!
Her lose confidence!
Her nightmare!

That happens to her that day.

The reason of there failed marriage was also this night! She desperately wanted to forget all that but only she can say this can't do!

After dinner she looked at Arjun, in there few days she noticed him. He was very confusing.

He didn't talk to her but make her eat with him!. He didn't look at her but make sure she have everything!. He didn't touch her but only one glance and she feel exposed! He forced her to marry him but he didn't did anything! He didn't follow her any where but know everything about her! He did everything without saying, without her knowing!
The room in which he go everyday with gloominess in his face but when he came back he has a small smile playing on her lips.

He was a mystery person himself!

Meera stood up and went to wash dishes collecting all the dishes from the table, the house was awful silent today only clicking of heels on floor can be heard! Little did they can heard was blowing wind. They were too fast today as the storm was to come.
The wall clock was also making a little sound showing the time is flowing.
Tonight after dinner he has to wait for the cake he ordered he just keep sitting on his chair looking something in his phone.

After checking his phone he stood up and went inside the kitchen but keep standing there when he saw Meera was still washing her dishes.
He just keep standing and looked at her with some emotion in his eyes.
Some unknown emotions.

Meera can feel his eyes. No matter how much she tried to act cool, normal but whenever someone gaze fall on her, her mind started playing games with her. And here didn't only she felt his gaze but the gaze this much intense to dig hole on her!

But there was something different, never someone gaze send shiver to her Spine in this way! This time her nervousness was different! Because his gaze was different!
They had some other emotions in his eyes! Raw emotion!

For whom ?

For her?

She quickly cleared her mind and walk past him. It was all they did from last 2 weak.

Ignoring

But something was changed today, in both of them.
Meera was bothered by his behaviour and Arjun had enough of her behaviour.

His plan was simple just to go and talk to her but Meera's plan was lock herself inside her room to suppress her pain in four walls.

When Meera walk past him the sarrow wasn't unnoticed by him. But he just can't understand why?.

He thinks she missed her family in her birthday and because of that he felt bad but then somewhere he thinks may be , just may be god wants them to get together and solve there own problems.

As Meera was disappear from stairs he took a deep breath and looked at the wall clock it shows almost 11 PM.
He sat on the sofa and awaited for the bell to ring. By the time rain also started pouring.
After 10 minute the bell rings. Arjun got up and went to open the door only to see a boy holding a umbrella in his in his one hand and in others he was holding a box.
He took the book and then took out his wallet to pay him.
After paying him he went to kitchen.

He was never in thise shit thing! Hell he never ever celebrated his own birthday let alone someone else!
And here he was standing holding a cake in his hand for his wife!
But he was happy to do it. Happy to celebrate his wife's birthday.

He plate the cake in a tray and then placed few candles on it. He didn't anything like this to anyone, he don't know how to make it special.
He mentally cursed himself for lack if knowledge in this field.
He went out of the kitchen and again looked at the wall clock showing 11:40 PM . It was the time to go to her.

He climbed the stairs with a unnoticeable smile on his face. As he was standing in front of her door he took out the spare key of her room.
He has the spare keys of the all the room with himself but he didn't used it but today was exception. He has to use it.

As Meera entered in her room a loan tear escaped from her eyes remembering this day. She cried like all the years until her tears were dry.
But today was something different.
Today she wasn't with her family who will hold her ! Unknowingly they comfort her in this sitting but this time they wasn't here to comfort her. She was feeling extremely alone!

The feeling of sharing her pain with anyone again rose inside her but then again she supressed the thought.

She went to bathroom and splashed water on her face.

"I am strong "
"I am not weak "
"I can fight for myself "
"No one will take advantage of my weakness "
"I am strong "

She started chanting there as her mantras to bost the confidence inside her. Don't know why she thinks she needed it.

She laid in her bed and then her eyes went to the clock it showed 11:30 at night. She closed her eyes tightly begged for the sleep to come.
And he granted her the sleep but not without Nightmare.

A girl was sitting on the bed silently looking at the clock but mentally she was shouting on the clock. She was so excited because tommorow was her 16th birthday. And this clock was moving slowly.
She dearly wanted this night to end and sun to peeked out but today time wasn't moving fast.

Making a pout she looked at her phone. It shows 11: 20 PM. She huffed and then closed her eyes tightly begged from the sleep to come.
Tommorow she will be meeting to her family after long also be meeting to her big brother who has one broken leg and was in hospital. As per he went on adventure and got that! She was excited because of that.

After few minutes she found herself consumed in sleeping. But someone's was standing on the door looking at the sleeping figure. He went toward her and shoot her in order to wake her up. She made a disapproval face but didn't opened her eyes. Again that person shoot her time this little harder then before. And this time she opened her eyes which were sleepy. Her black eyes directly meet with eagal brown eyes.

" hey Its me..." the person said grinning weirdly.

She sat up straight to look at the person.

"You... what are you doing here" she asked in confusion and little fear. She didn't expect him here at this time.
"Nothing...just come with me " the person said and stood up to his height.

The girl didn't wanted to go with him. She wasn't getting good vibes from that person. But she can't deny him . That person went out of the room but that girl keep sitting there. After few seconds that person again entered.

"Why aren't you following me?" He ask sternly with red eyes full with anger making the young girls winched. Tears filled her eyes but she refused to flow them. That person's eyes soften a little and then he move toward her bed.

That girl wasn't understanding what the hell was happening?

Why he was here?

He wasn't giving good vibes.

"I don't want to go anywhere " she said timidly. But trying to show some confidence. As the person was standing on the bed now. That girl fisted the bedsheet in fear.

"Why baby?" He asked with honey dripping voice this scared the girl even more.
She made a disgusting face on the nick name he gives her. She wasn't liking his presence in her room.She just wanted him to go out and the night pass easily.

"Ok sit here.... I'll come after few minutes " he said when the girl didn't said anything.

She again didn't said anything then the person gripped her wrist.
"OK" he gritted this word gripping her hand tightly. Her heart were beating so wild her mind wasn't processing.
It was hurting and fearing the girl even more.

Tears were now uncontrollably, they were flowing from her cheeks making then red and puffy. That gril can't take it more. She was just a child she wasn't understanding his plans, and his little torture was very much for her. she nooded her head.

She wasn't understanding why he was behaving like this today? He didn't behave like this ever.
As the person was out that girl wanted to lock the door from inside but she know he had the keys with him.
She never thought she will be fearing from him this much that she will be wanting to lock herself. But this time it all was happening in real! And definitely she didn't want to anger him more. Her wrist still has his fingertips on it.

That person came with a cake inside. That girl looked at him in shock with his action.

What is he doing??

She thought to herself but didn't said anything. She wiped her tears from her face and looked at him in curiosity. That person sat on the bed with the delicious looking cake.

"Happy birthday princess " he said as the clock strick 12 with a smile but his eyes were different today. They were little more darker.
It made him look scary even more scary.

That girl gulped and faked a smile at the person and looked at the cake. She love cakes. Especially chocolate cakes. They are her first love other than ice cream. The small girl forgotten for a second that someone else is in the room but the Cake didn't hold her attention for long like alway they always do. this time the cake wasn't attracting her to himself.
"Cut it" that person said smiling like evil. She looked at the person who's face was emotionless but smiling. She took the knife but that person put his hand on her. Her smiled vanished she tried to took her hand back but he only gripped it more tightly. Having no other opinion She cut the cake with trembling hand.
That person took a piece of cake in his hand and moved it towards the girls mouth. That girl didn't opened her mouth she didn't want him to feed her.
but he gripped her chin and he forced her to open her mouth.

"you need to learn respect " he gritted his teeth still gripping her chin harshly . She tried to freed her face from his hold,she started wiggling but that only made that person more angry. He holds her hair with one hand and pulled her hair harshly with other he pulled her to his lap. She was ready to shout, her head was burning with pain, she was crying very hard. but he put his hand on he mouth to muffle her voice. He then put his face on the hairs like he was smelling her still gripping her hairs. His other hand went around her waist. She was wearing a crop top so this dress wasn't helping a bit. He was disgusting her more. Her breath hitched inside her throat, sweat was forming on her forehead. Her breath was so uneven.She didn't like being touched, no one in the world had touched her like this. She never expected him to do this to her but here this was happening to her in real. All negative thoughts were occupying her mind. She again wiggling and tried to shout but his hand on her mouth didn't allow her to scream. But his hand which was on her waist disappeared, his action were to fast the her mind didn't registers when he made her turn still in her lap and slapped her across her face hard that she was about to fall from the bed. She touch the area which was burning due to pain.

"Stay silent otherwise you will experience this more" he said in sternly voice gripping her chins with one hand. Making the girl gulped in fear. Her body started shivering in fear. His other arm were gripped by him that made her look at him. He made her sit on the previous position and dipped his face in her hairs No even in her dream she thought she will get slapped. Her cheeks were hurting a lot, may his fingerprint was there.

That girl went silent. Afraid to experience the pain again. But a sob left her mouth. Her sob echoed in the room. This was too much for the young girls. . She wasn't used of this! Her parents didn't even shout at her, her brother fear from her tear he will do anything for his sister and here this person was torturing her.

And why he slapped her just because she don't want to have him here,because she protested him being so close to her., because she fight for herself. The young girls was in trauma because of this. Her mind was shouting to run, or shout but she was afraid! Afraid to fight for herself and get slapped again!

That person's face was still in her hairs, he took a deep breath making the girls heart beat like she was in marathon. He removed her from his lap.
Now this was over! He will be gone! That person stood up and took the tray. He went out and the girl took a breath in relief. She wiped her face with her hands and went to lock the door but that person again appeared in front of her.

Her breath got stuck in her throat looking at him. He pushed her in and lock the room behind him.

"Wh-what are you do-doing??" She asked taking few steps back.

"You didn't feed me the cake" he said in husky voice. That girl was now so terrified she was so ready to shout at the person but then she saw him leaning down.
"Stay away "she shouted but he just smile more like a fool.
His face was so close to her, she pushed him aside and run, she hide under the table and cried. What was happening to her? Why this was? happening to her.? She was thinking that she didn't noticed the foot near her.
"I know bitch you are here.... come out otherwise you won't like the consequences " he said in air to that girl. She put her hand on ther mouth to suppress the sound of her sobs. she was panicking, her body was drenched in sweat.
She was praying to God that something happens, some miracle and he went out. She didn't noticed him leaning down and looking under the table. Her eyes meet with her, he smrik evily and then gripped her hair dragging her out.

Meera was having Nightmare she was whispering 'no' in her sleep.

As Arjun opened the door he saw Meera's room was dark only moon light was the source of light.
Her window was open and moonlight was directly falling on her face.

How angelic sence

He thought and stopped at the door to look at the sleeping figure who was cuddling to herself. He smiled a bid at her.

He moved closer to her and saw she was murmuring something, her forehead was dripped in sweat.
It was like she was in so much pain. He can't see her like this! He put the cake on the side table.

He went near her sat on the ber beside her and touched her hairs in smoothing way. She went stable for a second but then again started wiggling like someone was gripping her tightly.

He shoot her in order to wake her up but it didn't happene. She only tighten her grip on the bed sheet.
Arjun again shoot her this time little harder. He was seeing that her body was rigid, her breath was uneven. sweat was forming in her face. Meera opened her eyes a little. The room was dark and the moon light was coming. She looked up only to meet with eagle brown pairs.

Same eyes.

Her breath got stuck in her throat. Her body started tumbling with fear.

"Hey its me" there words came out from Arjun mouth to comfort her but they made her remember his word.

Him.

She abruptly woke up pushing him asides. Her push didn't affect him but he stood up looking at her.
She was still on her bed, he went to the table and took the cake. He didn't mind her pushing him a little because he know she didn't expect him here.

After picking the cake he looked back to Meera to see her on the other corner of room. In dark room he still can find her small figures.

Meera crawled to the other corner slowly, her mind was block .

Everything was happening again

Her mind scream.

Run

Run

Her mind was again screaming on her but her body didn't proceeding anything.
She gulped.
Her mind was full of negativity thought, she was breathing heavily, finding difficulty in breathing. She wanted to yelled at him but her body wasn't responding. Her legs wasn't moving. Sweat were forming on her forehead. She wasn't seeing what was in front of her, her past, her fear that event happened years ago was playing in front of her eye.
She was having a panic attack.

He move toward her holding the cake. He was slightly confused by her behaviour but he didn't mind. He was also collecting courage to open up to her. He has to tell his secret too his darkest secret if he told her the reason he forced her!
But he will ! He need to otherwise he will not be in peace.

Meera was looking at him in darkness with wide open eyes.
Arjun was again approaching her but her mind was fogged with the even happene years again on her this day! Meera wasn't recognizing Arjun, in her mind only that person was filled and the unexpected arrival of Arjun make her mind more traumatic, making that unable to proceed!

Silent tears were flowing her sobs were also ringing in the room but the sound of thunder absorbed it.

She took a deep breath to clam her beating nerves, her mind was still flogged but something in her was screaming to her.

You won't let this happen again!
You aren't weak
You won't let this happen again
You aren't weak

I will fight for myself!
I won't let anyone take advantage of me...
I am strong!
I won't let anyone play with my dignity, my pride, my self respect!

Her mind commanded her and she chanted there sentence in her mind.
Arjun walk toward her, he noticed her body was tumbling,shivering she wasn't looked at the floor but to him with wide open eyes. But he mind was somewhere else. he was about to hold her hand but then she pushed him hard.

When she noticed him inches apart and was about to hold her hand, Her body went rigid.

Will this happen again?

She asked her in helpless.

No.......
No....
No.....
This won't happen again.
I won't let this happen again.

She consoled her mind saying that but from outside she wasn't sure herself!

No no I'll fight

With all her strength she pushed him aside, because of the sudden violence he fall down on the ground. The cake also splashed on the ground. Arjun looked at her in disbelieve but before he could say anything she said.

"How dare you"

This was enough for her , she can't take this more. Her mind was begging from her to release her frustration, her fear she was holding from years. The anger she was holding. To fight for herself , to save herself.
Her body started shaking in anger and fear too. She was feeling angry on herself and that person too but and she was fearing also from his wrath. For the very first time she was looking at him in his eyes. The moonlight was emitting much to that they could see each other.
How much he wanted that she will look in his eyes but not like this!
He was so confused by her outburst.
He wasn't knowing what to say.

He stood up trying to conform her he stooped hearing her voice.

"HOW DARE YOU "

I am sorry i know this part is triggered topic for few, if this part hurt someone's emotions, feeling I apologise to you wholeheartedly .I didn't support violence towards women, I strongly oppose it but it was a part if my story so I have to write it. You guys are saying that Meera should open up to Arjun,but please think in behalf of Meera! She has a past and the part I have written in this chapter about her past is just a glimpse! It contains more ,acts more , more thing which a girl will not want in her life and she has experienced it all. That's why she act like this. She didn't open up with him because it's not easy for her , for anyone it's not easy to say your past which is your Nightmare also. And in her case Arjun unknowingly remind her,her past. She fear him but it's not like she will not open up with him. She will!! But on the right time. Hope it's clear.
