Meera POV...
Thank you..
I remember his words...
I remember how for a second I forgotten that I was in his arms....
I never supposed Arjun will say thank you......

I tossed to other side of bed  and looked at my windows it was open.i take a deep breath and got up from the bed.
I wasn't getting any sleep so I decided to stand at window a little.

I walk to window and open my hairs take all my hairs to my left shoulder. I place my hand on the wall then my eyes went to the ring in my hand.
I was engaged....with Arjun

The ring was really beautiful. Arjun's mother told me that it was Arjun's grandmother's ring. I again take a deep breath and fold my arms to my chest.
Now I didn't want think about it. I want peace. From few days I am just thinking about my past and my future.
I shoot my head to get rid of there thoughts. This all..... my inner turmoil will be at end by day after tomorrow morning.....

I will be leaving rajasthan. I will go back to my old life and I will forgot all this automatically.

With this thought I returned to my bed and sleep consume me.......

At morning...

I woke up by a knock on my door. I got up and rub my eyes to get rid off my sleep.
I opened the door revealing a maid.
"Bari babu (elder daughter in law) hukum called you" she said bowing her head down and walk off. I nooded at her my mind was stuck on her words
Bari babu....

I shoot my head and went to washroom.
I came out and got ready.
I went to dadaji's room.
I knock before entering.
I hear a 'come in' and I walk in with a smile.
"Good morning dadaji " I chirped  as I entered.
He also reply a good morning with small smile. And gestured me to sit.
"You wanted to see me?? " I ask him and he nodded. He gestured someone to bring something. After 2 minute a maid came and put 2 cup of coffee in front of me.
"Beta I want you to go with siya to Gauri mandir(lord Gauri temple).
It's our family ritual that bride's sister in law goes with her only. I nodded at him.
"Dadaji may I ask a question??" I ask he nodded.
"What if I wasn't going to marry Arjun then who will  be doing this??" I ask in curiosity.
"Then I was going to force Arjun to marry Akshita" he said punching his lips in straight line.
"Oh" all I could say.
Force.... didn't she always clingy to him like leach...
"Arjun didn't Akshita much.... he didn't tell me but I know he only tolerate her because of me.... if his grandfather wasn't my great friend... I am sure he didn't even look at her direction." He completed with a chuckled. I also smile a little know how much he hates her.

"So go get ready. After haldi you both will leave at 3 PM and then wedding at 7 PM. " he said and hot up I also got up.
I walk out of his room and look around. I took a deep breath...
Morning fresh air.....
People were working fast. Whole house was decorated with fresh flower and lights.  Few were ordering, few were obeying. I roamed my eyes to garden area only to stuck on a person I didn't expect.
Arjun...

He was wearing white shirt with pale blue check pant . He ws holding a bag in his hand.
He is looking so handsome....

I shoot my head now my head down and walk to my room.
What the hell I was thinking!!!!

I was wearing my earring when someone came to my room.
I turn back to see it was puja. She smile at me and showed me 2 pair of earrings.
"Choose one!!"she said and sat on my bed with thud.
I look and pointed one of them.
"I also liked this one..." she said and happily wore it.
"So I heard you will be going with siya to the temple. " she said I said her yes.
"Hmmm...do daughter in law and sister in law duties" she said and winked at me.
We both heard a knock on the door.we turned back to look there was a maid. She said siya went to garden for haldi.

Haldi ceremony is ritual holy bath.its one of the pre Weeding ceremonies.
Turmeric (haldi),oil,water are applied to both bride and groom by married women on the morning of wedding.
               This mixture is believed to bless the couple before the wedding.

We reach to garden and sat near siya. Married women were applying her haldi on her face, hands,legs...
It was my turn now. I applied haldi on her whole face and puja applied haldi on her hands. She winched  like Child we all started laughing at her action.

When the function was ended we all returned to our respective rooms to take bath and get ready.
I also went to my room to take a quick shower a get ready. I have to go temple with siya.
I came out from shower and check the time. It was  2:45pm. I have to get ready in 15min. I decided to light green kurti paired with grey skirt.
I don't want to wear something heavy or do any makeup so I decided I will go with the formal.

I went to siya's room to check on her. She was talking to someone on phone. I know whom she is talking too.

I entered in her room with a teasing smile.
I cleared my throat to gain  her attention. She immediately hangup the call whispering something to the other side.
"No no you can carry on... I know you can't stay away from him." I said with a innocent smile. Her face turn red on my comment. I laugh out loudly.
"Let's go" she said straightening her dress.  She was wearing a yellow lengha.

As we step out of siya's room I bumped into someone I lost my balance  but someone held my waist to stop me from falling.
I looked up it was someone unknown.
" thanks " I said as fast I stand up on my own feet. The person grinned at me. He was really handsome men.
"Its alright beautiful " he said still smiling.
He seems friendly person. Suddenly siya hugged the person. As she broke the hugg she started hitting his chest.
I was standing there confused.

"You moron... you are coming today!!! Huhh!!!" She said folding her arms to her chest.

"Sorry little one.... it's just work you know" he said holding his ears.  And siya turn her face away showings fake anger.
They look  really so cute that's why I can't help but giggling at them.
"Can I know your name beautiful??"he ask looking at me. I stooped giggling and blushed at his nickname.
"Its ok..... Meera meet Amit  "she said gesturing to the man."and Amit  bhai meet Meera my friend an-" he didn't let her finish her sentence as he engulf in a hugg. It was soo sudden that  I was able to push back.
"Nice to meet you Meera... " he said while hugging. I was so uncomfortable.
"Same here... " I said and tried to push him a little. I think he understand I was uncomfortable so he move back.He murmured a sorry and I nodded at him but he was looking at me continuously.
"Siya let's go" I said to her as I was little uncomfortable under his gaze.
She nodded at me. We went towards car and settled in that.
"He is my father's sister's son.... " she said and I nodded.
"you know the amazing thing is he is just 1day older then Arjun bhai" she said and I again nodded.
"They never go along well.... bhai has anger issues and he likes to irritate him ....... a lot" she said while giggling I also smile a little. The whole drive was full of there fight stories .
I just hope they didn't fight in her wedding.

We  came from temple at at 4:30. Which was quite late but can't help with traffic. Siya hurriedly went to her room. Beautician were waiting for her.

I also went to my room. I didn't see that  someone was waiting for me. I lock the door behind me. As I turn towards my bed I saw someone.
I frozen on my spot.
It was Arjun...
What he is doing here???

"I was waiting for you to come back..." he said as he noticed I noticed him.
"W-why" I ask shuttering while looking down.

"Can't I come to see my wife.." he sai looking at me like him prey.
"I-I am no-not you-your wi-wife.." I said actually manage to say.
I was really afraid.
I was with him alone and he didn't look normal.
He look....he look angry...super angry. And as there words escaped from my mouth he look dangerous anger now.....
God....what I have done....

He walk to me I walk back. I fisted my my dress . As soon as my back hit the wall he caged me  between his  arms. I was caged between him and wall.

"You will be soon.... very soon so" I whispered in my ears.
I shivered under  his husky voice.
I feel  something on my waist.i look down to see him binding a kmarband (tradition waistband) on my waist.
He was still so close to me. His breath was falling on my head.

I look  down to see him binding a tradition waistband .

It was made of with pearls and gold and was looking absolutely stunning.

I winched in pain because He bind it little harsh.
I think he didn't have experience of doing that that why as I winched he quickly take a step back and examine my waist. It was cover completely but the way he was looking at my waist made me feel expose to him.

I was very uncomfortable in this position but  was also  scared of doing anything.
I don't know what to do why he is here???
He examine my waist and again move close to me and leaned at me.i close my eyes I don't know why....
"What were you talking to him???" He whispered in my ear in harsh tone like he was somehow managing his anger.
Move back.....
I wanted to shout at him but my voice was like lost somewhere else.
I heard that he ask something but I not word came from my mouth.
And I also don't know about whom he is asking??....

"Huhh??"he again asked this time he leaned his face toward my neck.

I was breathing heavily because of this intimacy but he was normal.
He was breathing in my hairs like he was claiming himself.

"Answer me "he hissed. I am really pissing hin off...
"Wh-who???" I asked.
He moved back but still very close to me.
His face was red from anger.
"What were you doing with Amit " he again hissed.....
What was I doing....
Nothing....

Arjun P.O.V....

"What were you doing with Amit"i ask her for the third time.
I was really pissed with her.
Why not she just answer me!!!

"Nothing "she said. But I wasn't satisfied with her answer.
I leaned down to her ear

"Stay away from him.... I don't want to see him near you" I hissed in her ear.
I smell her hairs and move back.
I don't want to stay there anymore because I know If I stayed there I will be more pissed and may be I poured my anger on her.

I move out of her room and run my hand on my hairs.

His word was running in my mind....

Flashback.....

I was in garden assisting everything for the last time when someone patted on my shoulder.
I turn to see it was Amit.
"How are you small brother "he ask.. i don't understand why he always come to piss me off...
He is only 1 day older then me but still he call me small brother.

I didn't answer him just turn back and continue to my work...

I heard Gaurav came before he ask something this piece of shit started.
"Hyy Gaurav bro.... how are you " he chirped.
"Hyyy.... ummm Amit you" Gaurav stuttered. He knows very well actually everyone knows very well that we both aren't in very good terms.
I turned back and continue to check everything and he and Gaurav started having there conversation.
Gaurav got a call so he excuse himself.
"Small brother do you know who she is???"he asked me.
I didn't turn back and answered him"no"
"Ohhh.... she is soo hot and beautiful" he commented on god know who...

"I am going to hit on her " he said and walk off. I signed in relief.
After few minutes I heard Gaurav panicking voice.
"What the-....." he panicked
I turn back to him looking at some other direction. I follow his gaze and looked at that direction.
The scene in front of me boiled my blood.
There was that moron and Meera was in his arms.
She stands up quickly and murmured something . I think it was thanks....

Then siya came but he was say something that cause her blush.
Siya introduce them and then he did something I really don't appreciate...
He hugged Meera.
And I lost my calmness.
I saw red.... I want to beat someone....
But why I am feeling like that... it was just an accident I think..
But I don't  like her in his arms accident or not...

Flashback end...

After coming from Meera's room I went to mine to get ready it already 6:30in evening. I wore my black sherwani.

I cross checked everything because I really don't want any mistake.
I was talking to one of the staff when I noticed he wasn't looking at me he was looking at my back. I turn and stand there in awe.....
There was standing Meera in her all glory. Looking like a goddess.

Someone cleard his throat and I snapped back to reality. I turn back to see Amit smriking at me.
He turned to Meera and I can see he was amazed by her.
Literally she ws looking sooo beautiful. Everytime this girl amaze me by her beauty.

I don't like him looking at her. I just can't handle ths fact that someone is looking at her. Specially Male....

I don't know when but I found my legs on Meera's direction.
I walk to her and but she was busy in looking around like always...
One thing I noticed about her she can't keep her eyes on one thing.. her eyes are like curious cat....

I slide my arm around her waist.... I really like to do this. Her waist is so slim.she jumped in suddenly contact.
She looked at me in instant and her body tensed.
I lean to her ear and whisper
"You look stunning babygirl" I call her babygirl because she is just like a baby.
Cute....

I don't know from when I started complementing... from when I started noticing her...from when I started giving nicknames...
It's all happening to me and I really don't know how and why???

I looked at Meera she was looking down.her face was red. I smrik as I my effect on her and then look forward to meet with Amit confused gaze on us.

He walk to us and looked at me then Meera.
"Meera are you his girlfriend" he ask suddenly.
"Umm  no..I-i" she was saying something but  I cut off her.
"Wife...." I said to him and don't know why I feel proud when I saw his eyes widened.
"Wi-wife....how when?????" He was in confusion.
Anyone would think because before few day I wasn't even ready to give a glance to a girl and here I am being protective and calling a girl my wife....

I took a deep breath and cleared his mind..
"Soon to be wife.... " I said looking at her. My hand was still on her waist.
She shift a little uncomfortably about wife things ...I think...
"Ooo...ummm okk " he said little awkwardly and walk off....

I stayed there for a minute then I remember I have to check the food counter.

"I'll be back.....enjoy " I said to her and she nooded her head as always looking down.

I saw groom and groom's family are arrived with baarat.
I went to them and   welcomed them with our tradition way.

We made then sit with respect and called the servant to serve them refreshment.

The groom was taken to mandap(where the Weeding will take place) for few rituals....
After few minutes they call siya.

I went to take her. She was standing near the stairs....
My baby sister is now big girl and going to be married womens in few hours. She was looking like royal princess in her wedding attire....

We didn't spoke a word just I put my hand on her head and a tear slip fro both of ours eyes.
She give me a smile a cute one which I  reciprocate.

I, Piyush, Gaurav, and amit we take her to mandap and  made her sit.
And here we goo.....

Siya was talking her blessings from our elders. Her Weeding just ended. Tommorow she will go with her new family her new life.

I made siya and my mother sit and have something to eat.

We all were having our dinner after attending the guests.
It was 1 am in night. So we all decided to call it a night and take little rest.
I was going in my room when  I hear Meera's voice.
She was talking to someone.

"Sooo... when you will return??" The person said I noticed it was Gauri dii...
"By tommorow afternoon.... actually today as it is like 1 in morning." She completed. And I was like....
No she can't just leave.....
"May be we spend few more days together....don't worry you will here soon...."dii teased her.
She didn't said anything.
I turn and walk to room. I don't know why my mood suddenly fall.
I was feeling so sad. As I sat on my bed I remember Meera's word.

I don't want to think about it... don't know why it was affecting me a lot....
I don't know why I don't want her to leave....
I  suddenly became angry because not for once she said to me that she will be leaving soon....
How could she....

I am behaving like teenagers who is angry with his girlfriend to not  tell something...

I was never like this...
Never...

I was frustrated by myself....

I don't want her to leave.... but I  know she wil..

I want her to stay here..... near me....
Why???
I don't know...
Why I am feeling like this???

My heart aches as I just imagine to leave.....
I will not be able to see her... but I want to see her.....

Why I feel like this....
Aghhhh.....

Now-a-day I am too confused about my feelings  and my actions.

I feel something that I didn't feel for anyone before.....

I lay on my bed and close my eyes....
My mind was full of Meera's thoughts.

The last thing I came to my mind was
"Meera will be leaving......" and then sleep engulf me....

Was Arjun jealous???

Will Amit cause any problems or???

Why was Arjun soo affected about Meera's departure???

Will Arjun let Meera go????
