Twin flames and soulmates are different. A soulmate is someone who shares an identical soul to you, someone who holds values and virtues that you yourself carry. They aren't just a balance to your life but a stable bind in your dreams and goals on this strange dimensional plain. A twin flame is someone who carries the other half of your soul, the piece of you that is needed to complete the puzzle piece that is you as a person. They challenge you, the mirror of yourself ─ two flames yet one eternal fire. A twin flame is a love that transcends time and space, something so strong that not even the tempting fates could snip the golden string that tied them together.

That's all Honey could think about as she sat in the back of Bella's truck with one of the boys while Bella sat in the passenger seat with the other, they had introduced themselves as Embry Call and Jared Cameron. Embry was the younger counterpart to Jared but Jared was the more playful of the two. Despite Bella's dazed expression and Honey's deep in thought expression, they tempted conversation and spoke carelessly about whatever came to mind. Honey felt bad for not attempting to join their conversation but she was too distracted by the reality that Jacob Black was not only a shifter but her destined mate ─ her very own twin flame. And like some God found it amusing, they were opposites in nature which could tear them apart before they even began.

Embry parked the truck outside a tiny, weathered house with a window box full of marigolds. Jared helped Honey off of the back of the truck, he sent her a flirty wink but she rolled her eyes and walked around to Bella's door. The brunette looked out of it for a moment before looking at Honey, she knew that Bella was affected by the fact that she seemed to be surrounded by Supernatural beings; plus, watching your friend since childhood phase into a giant wolf wasn't an everyday thing. "Pay up. They didn't puke," Embry said to Jared who scoffed before handing over five bucks. "Told you they were tough. She does run with bloodsuckers," Embry added referring to Bella unaware of Honey's nature.

"Wait. We should go back, make sure Jacob's okay," Bella told them once she broke out of her daze. "I hope Paul gets some teeth in him. Serves him right," Jared stated with a smirk, one that deepened when Honey turned to him unimpressed, even scowling at him. "No way! Jake's a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I gotta fiver says Paul doesn't touch him," Embry bragged with a prideful smirk. "Easy money. Paul's been at it longer..." Jared replied smugly. Bella looked at them appalled as they walked towards the home, Honey had raised a brow at their words. "Come on in. We won't bite," Embry spoke once he noticed the girls not following them. "Speak for yourself," Jared added with a huff.

Bella and Honey warily approach them when Embry paused at the door and looked at them, "Oh, hey, about Emily ─ Sam's fiancé ─ just try not to stare. It bugs Sam." The girls shared a look before Bella asked, "Why would we stare?" But both males had already disappeared into the house leaving the girls to trail inside behind them. They both spotted Emily at a counter popping fresh muffins out of a tin. "You guys hungry?" Emily asked before huffing with a kind smile, "Like I have to ask..." Emily looks towards them now revealing the hidden side of her face, a scar runs from her hairline to her chin, three red lines that cross down her eye and twist at her mouth.

"Who are they?" Emily asked Embry and Jared, the two made a beeline for the muffins eager to eat. "Bella Swan and Honey Parker. Who else?" Jared answered her as he began eating the muffins he managed to grab for himself. "So you're the vampire girl," Emily commented towards Bella turning to Honey next, "And the new Imprint." Honey furrowed her brows at the word, she didn't know what it meant. "And you're the wolf girl," Bella replied making Honey sigh. "I'm just engaged to one. But these animals--" She slapped Embry's hand away from the muffins, "Save some for your brothers." Honey giggled at the pout on Embry's face. "Leave it to Jacob to get around Sam's gag order," Emily said with a small smile on her face.

"He didn't say anything, or. . . couldn't," Bella reassured them. "That's a wolf thing. Alpha's orders get obeyed whether we want to or not..." Embry stated with a slight bitter undertone. "Shut up! These are trade secrets, she runs with Vampires!" Jared snapped out. "You can't run with vampires, they're fast," Bella replied making the boys laugh, Emily smiled while Honey leaned back against the wall. Honey kept glancing at the door waiting for Jacob to walk in the door and give her the answers she was seeking. "You know Jacob's just gonna fill her in, he's gotta tell Honey here anyway," Embry reminded Jared. "Wait, why? What do you mean?" Honey asked but they shared a look before hesitantly brushing past her questions.

"Yeah, I know every stupid thought he has," Jared stated in reference to Embry's former comment. "Wanna know what he thinks of you?" Jared asked with a smirk directed at Honey, the girl wasn't sure how to feel based on the body language that Jared was showing. "It's another wolf thing. We hear each other's thoughts. Good for hunting. Embarrassing for everything else," Embry told the two girls. "Oh, the boys hear all about your adult dreams?" Honey teased with a grin making Jared laugh while Embry flushed at the taunting comment. "Oh, I like you," Jared said as he bit into another muffin. "So, freaking out yet?" Jared asked Bella, challengingly. "You're not the first -- mind reader I've meet," Bella replied.

"Jake's right. You are good with the weird," Embry said with a grin. "But I don't get -- how? Why?" Bella questioned their existence when someone spoke up from the door. "Because there are bad things here. And they're getting worse," Sam spoke as he walked inside, he walks by the girls and approaches Emily ─ the sight of her seems to brighten his stoic expression. "Hey, Em," Sam greeted before he kissed the woman's scarred face adoringly. While Honey smiled softly at the sight of affection, Bella had looked away as their utter devotion is a painful reminder of what she had lost. Both were distracted when Jacob and Paul arrived, the two laughing and shoving each other like nothing had happened.

Bella was relieved to see Jacob unscathed while Honey had expected it, something told her that he was bound to win. "Ha! Pay up!" Embry told Jared spotting the healing scar on Paul's arm, Jared reluctantly hands Embry five bucks making Honey giggle once again. Jacob's eyes landed on Honey first, his eyes softened in a way that no one else in the room had seen before. But he knew he had to talk to Bella first and then he could talk to Honey. "Bella, go," Sam spoke up gaining both females attention, Honey frowned ever so slightly before nodding at Bella. The brunette followed behind Jacob while Honey turned to the wolves inside the home. "Want a muffin?" Jared offered, Honey shrugged before she reached out for one.

It was around an hour before Jacob returned without Bella by his side, he took a breath before approaching Honey. "Can we take a walk?" Jacob asked her, she nodded and said goodbye to Emily who she had been talking too the entire time with Jared adding small comments until Paul dragged him away. The two were silent as they left Emily's house, the feeling of peace washed over Honey as she walked by Jacob's side however, that question burned on the tip of her tongue and she couldn't quite understand it. It wasn't long till they reached La Push, a sight in Forks that Honey hadn't yet to see herself. Jacob kept glancing at the blonde until she stopped and watched the waves crash against the shore.

"When I thought of meeting you... I didn't picture you phasing into a large wolf and fighting off another large wolf," Honey spoke through the calm breeze. "Not how I wanted to meet you either," Jacob replied as he crossed his arms against his chest. "But I will say, it's pretty damn cool," Honey added as she turned her head to look at Jacob, he was clearly stunned by her words and that was evident in the way he huffed a laugh. "How are you not freaked out?" Jacob asked her with furrowed brows. "It'll take more than that to freak out a girl descended from Vampire Hunters who happens to be... something different," Honey replied to him, she wasn't sure how he'd respond and she wanted her answers first.

"Different?" Jacob questioned but the blonde smirked his way. "I want my question answered first," Honey requested making Jacob looked down for a moment before looking back at her. "Ask away," Jacob replied. "Why did Emily call me the new Imprint?" Honey asked Jacob. He was silent as he turned to the water, Honey was patient letting him piece his words together. "An Imprint... it's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity moves... suddenly. It's not the earth holding you here anymore, she does... You become whatever she needs you to be, whether that's a protector, or a lover, or a friend," Jacob explained to Honey the best way he knew how.

"What's the most common outcome of an Imprint?" Honey asked softly seeing the way Jacob was looking at the waves. "More than friendship..." Jacob answered as he turned to look at Honey, the soft look made the blonde melt right there on the spot she stood. "Only the Quilete shifters seemed to have this... phenomenon. It can't be forced and the Imprint becomes our top priority, everyone and everything is second to them," Jacob added with a small huff, it was clear that his opinion on it was sitting on the fence and Honey guessed that was due to her uncertain choice on what she wanted on her side of the Imprint. "Why do Shifters Imprint?" Honey asked wishing for as much information before deciding.

"Sam believes that our wolves Imprint on the person who we... have the best chance to reproduce with," Jacob hesitantly told her avoiding eye contact before clearing his throat and adding, "But my dad says that Imprinting is designed to make us stronger. That our Imprint adds to our strength and gives us something more to fight for." Honey smiled at that, she could see that perfectly from her perspective. "It makes sense," Honey replied before she looked down, "But before you decide on anything--" Jacob stepped closer to her, "Wait, Honey, don't--" Honey stepped back and shook her head, "Let me tell you this because... it could change everything from your view."

And so, Honey Parker told Jacob Black the same story she told Bella Swan. It was clear that Jacob was stunned by what Honey was, he turned away from her and ran his fingers through his hair as his thoughts overlapped telling the rest of the wolves everything causing a response of mixed feelings. "Do you live off blood?" Jacob asked with his back to her, if he looked at her, he wouldn't be able to do what may be needed. "No. I eat normal food, my body runs like any normal person but... I have to have blood at least once a year. Mountain Lion works fine," Honey reassured him though she was worried about what he may say. "But you have the speed and strength of a vampire?" Jacob questioned. "Yes. And a few gifts as I told you," Honey answered.

The two fell silent as Jacob focused on the swarming thoughts that filled his mind as the pack determined how they truly felt about the information that one of the Imprints was a hybrid. Honey focused on the water, stepped away from Jacob and looking out at the waves. She closed her eyes as the sun shone through the clouds as it rarely does in Forks, she let the sun shine on her showing that she didn't sparkle like that of her father's kind. Honey was startled when arms wrapped around her waist, her back flush against Jacob's chest as he rested his head on her shoulder. "What's the outcome?" Honey asked softly. "The guys aren't bothered, they think its good that you can stand your ground," Jacob replied softly.

Honey leaned back in Jacob's hold, the place where he rested his arms was tingling in a way that made the blonde want more. The former pit of questioning faded into a dome of butterflies simply from his touch. Honey closed her eyes as she felt Jacob's arm tighten slightly when she moved closer to him, his nose brushing along her neck leaving her nerve endings ablaze in its wake. "So what do you want out of this?" Jacob asked despite both knowing the answer to the question. While Jacob had Imprinted on Honey, she was mated to him and she felt it in her soul. "I say we make it work," Honey said, "I'm willing to try if you are." Jacob smiled at that, he nuzzled into her neck content with the blonde.

Rosemary Speaks. . .

So that all happened. And our lovely hybrid and shifter are taking the steady steps towards their eventual happy relationship.

It's now 1:30 am early Sunday morning for me in Victoria, Australia. I wrote this book all day Saturday till now but I am sleepy so I shall leave this here and come back after I've gotten some sleep.

What do you want to see before I continue the plot further? With the pack? Or the friends?
Hang out ideas? Anything like that?

Thoughts, Suggestions or Questions?

See you in the next chapter!
