"Honey, if you don't want to live with Charlie and Bella, you don't have too now. You're eighteen, it's your choice," Amy reassured her niece on the phone. Honey was laying on Jacob's bed wearing a pair of his boxers and one of his shirts, he was currently out with the pack so she decided to call her aunt to see what she thought of it. "I know but... I feel... I don't know..." Honey trailed off before sighing in irritation, "I know friendships can fall apart but I never expected this to be the reason." Amy smiled sadly on the other side of the phone, she settled onto her couch as she replied, "Honey, it's time to focus on you now. You and Jacob, graduating and finally, your future. Bella's eighteen, she's an adult now so her choices are her own."

Honey really took her aunts words to heart, she was right and Honey couldn't spend forever treating Bella like that same awkward girl she grew up with. After her phone call with her aunt Amy, Honey had gotten dressed and headed to the Swan Residence with the intention to speak with Charlie before packing her things. It didn't shock Honey when she arrived that Edward was there, he seemed to tense up at the presence of the blonde. "Cullen," Honey greeted indifferently. "Parker," Edward replied in a similar way, both turned to the door when Bella walked out. "Honey, hey," Bella was clearly surprised to see the blonde, "What are you doing here?" Honey raised a brow at the question, "Well, last I checked, I still lived here."

Bella bit her lip at those words, she lowered her head and nodded as Honey continued, "But I'm here to talk to Charlie. I'm, uh, gonna move out." Bella's head whipped up, eyes wide at the words almost as though she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Wait... I know I've been a terrible friend but you can't leave!" Bella exclaimed, the words reminded Honey of what she knew about Isabella Swan; once she was attached, there was a seriously difficult process of detachment. "Look, Bell, I came here to help you get better after Cullen left but... he's back now, we're eighteen and I'm... with Jacob now," Honey explained as she ran her fingers through her hair, "You'll still be my best friend, Bella... we just... got different values and goals now." Bella was disheartened hearing this, the sight of it made Edward angry.

"So you're ditching your best friend for a dog?" Edward asked aggressively. Honey's head snapped to him, her glare was harsh as she turned fully to look at him, "How fucking dare you! My best friend ditched me for a dead man, I don't see where I went wrong?!" Bella looked between the two, she was uneasy worried about Honey getting hurt if her temper got the best of her. "She needs you," Edward reminded like it was the only thing that mattered. "She has you," Honey snapped, her fingers clenched into fists. As anger burned through her, a distant howl could be heard; Jacob could feel her anger. "Some friend you are," Edward remarked, the words finally caused the blonde to snap. She moved quicker than Edward had ever seen, tackling him with such force that he went flying into the forest out of sight of humans.

"Honey!" Bella shouted as the blonde rushed towards Edward, the Vampire had recovered quickly and met the Hybrid head on. The two dodged and swung at one another expertly, moving through the woods at a speed that appeared as a blur to Bella as she chased behind them. "Edward, stop!" Bella pleaded out, she didn't want him to hurt Honey. The rest of the Cullen clan soon showed up, Emmett and Jasper moved to help Edward but Carlisle stopped them. "Shouldn't we do something?" Emmett asked as Alice grabbed Bella's arm and pulled her close. "It's not our fight," Carlisle replied as he watched Edward throw a large branch towards Honey who blocked it. Soon enough, the familiar growls of the pack appeared opposite the Cullens, Jacob was front and centre ready to intervene.

"Stay out of it, Jacob!" Honey snapped out as she and Edward came to a stop, both facing one another. Edward's eyes were no longer golden but rather black like hunger while Honey's eyes seemed to shine golden like the sun, both appeared to be panting as though they were exhausted but simply their bodies response to the anger coursing through them. It was tense and silent, Honey watching Edward for any sudden movements while he did the same. "Please, stop this!" Bella pleaded with them, Edward softened at her words allowing Honey the chance to strike. Honey rushed Edward before anyone could notice, she flipped over Edward, grasping his chin and the side of his face; the position would allow her to tear his head from his shoulders with a simple push.

"HONEY!" Bella screamed fearfully, her eyes wide with tears as she noticed the way Edward's porcelain skin seemed to burn under her touch. "You ever disrespect my mate, my pack or me again, Edward Cullen, not even Bella's pleas will save you," Honey warned before letting go of Edward. He dropped to his knees, gasping for unnecessary air as his skin slowly healed from the burns. Honey looked up at Bella, "We've gone our own ways now." And with that, the blonde turned and made her way towards the pack, Jacob instantly brushed into her side. "Honey!" Bella called out, the blonde stopped prompting Bella to speak, "Don't call cause we aren't friends." Jacob growled at Bella's words feeling the hurt from his mate but Honey simply walked away ready for the new step of her life.

Jacob crossed his arms against his chest as he leaned against the doorway, his eyes focused on Honey who was laying on his bed. Her bags were sitting on the floor at the end of their bed and though he was more than eager to have his Imprint by his side where she was safe, he knew how distraught she was over losing her friendship with Bella over Edward. She had stopped crying and now stared blankly out the window, she had claimed that she would wallow for the night but get over it the next day. With a sigh, Jacob closed his bedroom door and walked over to the bed, climbing under the blankets to wrap his arms around her. "You two will fix things eventually," Jacob told her softly, he knew Honey wouldn't hold a grudge and Bella's knack for trouble was bound to bring them together again.

Honey sniffled before she turned over to look up at Jacob, he began running his fingers through her golden locks. "Probably... I've never been good at staying mad with Bella... but she'll have to apologise first. And no matter how much she loves Cullen, he and I will never be friends," Honey expressed, her eyes automatically rolling at the mention of Edward. Jacob chuckled, he wouldn't say it out loud but he was glad that Honey didn't like the Cullens; especially Edward. "You know, it was incredibly hot watching you beat him today," Jacob spoke as he moved to cup her face, bringing his lips to her own. Honey melted into the kiss, her hands moving to rest on his chest as he deepened the kiss.

Three loud knocks startled the two apart just as Jacob had moved his hands to her hips, eager to pull her on top of him. "I don't care that you're both eighteen!" Billy Black called out, "But I am still too young for grand babies from you two!" Honey laughed softly while Jacob groaned in annoyance, his head falling back against the bed. "If you ain't gonna respect my rules, don't live under my roof. You two are louder than a rooster at dawn!" Billy added before they heard his wheelchair move down the hallway into the kitchen. "You gotta admit, he's funny," Honey told Jacob who rolled his eyes, "It's fine. We gotta respect his rules living here." She gave him a kiss before turning over and closing her eyes, Jacob watched her for a moment with a smirk knowing what he was going to do.

"Okay, where are you taking me?" Honey asked as Jacob had his eyes covering her eyes, the two were following a trail through the woods away from the main section of the homes on the Reservation. "It's a surprise, Honey," Jacob told her. "But we've been walking for like half an hour," Honey whined playfully, she wasn't annoyed or anything but she was a little nervous about what Jacob was up too. "It's only a little longer, you can survive," Jacob replied with a chuckle. "You could've carried me," Honey muttered causing Jacob to laugh before they continued their walk in silence. "Alright, we are here," Jacob stopped them, "Just keep your eyes closed for a moment." Honey obeyed his request, focused on her hearing she could pick up on his steps towards something; the sound of dirt crunching changed to wooden boards.

"Open your eyes," Jacob called softly knowing her hearing was focused, he smiled softly as she did. Honey was awestruck at the sight before her, a nicely sized home stood freshly built. It was exactly what she had wanted for a home, in the woods away from society where she could be herself without the worry of others. The steps up to the patio were hand crafted and the red door where Jacob was currently leaning had a clear sign on it saying 'welcome home' which brought a smile to her face. "What?─ What is this?" Honey asked as she walked up the steps, she looked around at the outside design of the small log cabin. "It's for you, Honey," Jacob told her, he scratched the back of his neck, "I know we are... new as a couple but... you're my forever and I figured... having our own place would be a good start."

Honey swooned at his words, she walked up to him and placed her hands on his chest as she leaned against him, his hands landing on her hips instantly. "When and how did this happen?" Honey asked him with a raised brow causing Jacob to become shy. "Well, uh... since... I imprinted on you," Jacob answered her truthfully, "And after we become official, the guys and I finished it up." Honey smiled brightly at him, she cupped his face in her hands as she spoke, "I love you so much." Jacob's sheepish expression faded into a loving smile as he pulled her closer and leaned down to kiss her. "Welcome home, baby," Jacob muttered against her lips before holding up the key, "If you'd do the honours." Honey quickly grabbed the key and unlocked the door.

The inside of the home was as cozy as Honey dreamed off, a large fireplace in the living room with a fluffy rug in front of it. A nice L-shaped couch in front of a television, a large bookshelf awaiting to be filled with many adventures and romances. The kitchen was marble and pristine in condition, the walls a little bland at the moment but Honey was already thinking of ways to add some flair to the home. There were four bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus an ensuite for the master bedroom. Jacob watched fondly as Honey ran around their home looking at everything and anything, listing off different ideas to add to the space. However, when they passed one of the extra bedrooms, Jacob couldn't help but hope one day, their child would take the space.

The master bedroom already had a California King Bed set up, Honey fell back against the soft mattress and let out a sigh of content. "So, is it exactly as you'd hoped?" Jacob asked as he stood in front of her, his gaze focused purely on his girl. "Everything and more," Honey answered him honestly, she felt like she was on cloud nine. Honey sat up and grabbed Jacob's hands in her own, she smiled up at him as she spoke, "The start of something new." He chuckled before pushing her back against the bed, "How about you and I test the bed then?" Honey scoffed a laugh as Jacob leaned over her and claimed her lips, his hands either side of her head. As he moved to kiss her neck, Honey closed her eyes allowing herself to fully be overcome by Jacob's touch. This was the life she wanted; though she was not prepared for what was coming ─ more like who.
