𝐆𝐈𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍 were busy unpacking as they figured it was best to have two sets of hands helping out rather than one.

"Where do you want me to put this?" Avalon asked as she picked up the box,

"Just over there," Gio motioned to the other pile of boxes.

"Baby come here!" He added with a groan as he reached out for the girl.

"What are we doing?" The striker asked as she walked over to him,

"I want a cuddle," the brunette explained with a smile,

"Gio!" The blonde let out a squeal as she was pulled down onto the couch.

"What?" Gio shrugged as he smiled,

"I love you," he added with a grin,

"I can't believe you," Avalon let out a laugh,

"Why?" The midfielder cocked his head,

"I wanted a cuddle," he added with a shrug as he smiled.

"So you pulled me onto the couch to tell me that?" The striker asked as she scoffed her head,

"And this," the brunette smiled as he began to smother her with kisses,

"Gio!" The blonde let out a squeal,

"I'm going to miss doing this to you," Gio pulled away with a sigh,

"I can tell," Avalon nodded with a giggle.

Avalon was getting ready to go back down to London as she needed to do some interviews,

"You seriously going?" Gio let out a groan as he watched the girl finish packing,

"Yeah I need to," Avalon nodded as she smiled,

"I'm going to miss you," the midfielder let out a sigh as he hugged her,

"You could always come back with me," the striker pointed out in a duh tone.

"I need to go back home for a bit before the season starts," Gio had a plan to get back home before he was in England to sign with Leeds,

"Oh yeah," the blonde nodded remembering that the boy had a full plan,

"Send your parents my love," she added feeling sad that she couldn't go and say hello to them,

"Definitely," the midfielder nodded as he was glad that his girlfriend got on with his parents.

"Are you travelling back?" He added not remembering the girl's ideas for the break,

"I think I'll just be heading up to Liverpool," Avalon shrugged as she didn't have plans yet because she didn't really know what her schedule was going to be like.

"I miss Fin," she added since she hadn't seen him since the wedding and it was getting close to his birthday.

"Tell them I say hi if you do." The brunette asked the girl as she nodded,

"I will," the striker smiled as she placed a kiss on his lips.

Avalon arrived in Chicago as she had gotten called up,

So her interviews had been pushed back.

"You're here!" Hazel let out a cheer as she walked over to hug the younger girl.

"Yeah I got in this morning," Avalon explained with a smile as she placed her duffle bag on the ground.

"Where did you go for the past five hours?" The midfielder pulled her eyes into a squint as she didn't know if she wanted the answer,

"I went to get food," the striker smiled as she pulled the bag out of her backpack,

"And then went shopping," she added as she needed some deodorant as she managed to forget hers at home.

"Snacks!" The older blonde let out a squeal as she pulled the bag away from her friend,

"I love how excited you are," Avalon smiled as it was so easy to impress the older girl.

"We have a new caterer for the week," Hazel explained with a pout,

The girls took like three years to trust the cook so it wasn't going to be easy for the new one.

"But what about Rosie!" The striker let out a gasp as she placed her hand on her chest.

"I'm still here, I just make juices now." 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗦 explained as she walked out of the kitchen,

"How are the grandkids?" The younger blonde asked as she pulled the women in for a hug.

"Really well," the cook thanked the girl for asking.

"Amy told me to thank you for the shirts," she added with a smile,

"I'm glad the boys are liking them," Avalon had met her grandsons once and they seemed to like sports jerseys so it made sense to her to offer them each one.

"Yeah, they have taken a liking to you and your skills." The brunette explained,

"Wait why don't you bring them down here, I'll love to say hi to them." The striker offered as she hadn't seen them in a while.

"Why do they love her more than me?" Haze asked as she thought about it for a moment,

"Because I'm cool," the younger blonde explained in a duh tone,

"And I'm their age so," she added as she stuck her tongue out at the girl.

"They like you too, you're just scary," Rosie explained before quickly slipping away,

"Rosie you get back here!" The midfielder groaned as she followed after her.
