"Shehzade!"

"Shehzade!!"

As the gentle stream whispered it's lullaby, Shehzade Taehyung lay nestled amidst the fragrant grass, a serene smile gracing his lips. His loyal steed, Khyab, grazed peacefully nearby, the soft sound of his munching blending well with the rustling leaves. In the distance, voices carried on the breeze grew closer, the urgency in their calls dissolving as they finally discovered their elusive prince, content and at peace by the tranquil waters.

Taehyung's slumber was disrupted as he heard urgents calls of his names which were seasoned with worry.

"Shehzade! To ap yahan hai! {prince Taehyung! there you are!}" Sai exclaimed, her relief clear, as she hurried over to him, her footsteps light on the soft earth. The attendants, along with the royal guards, followed closely behind, their expressions a mix of concern and respect.

Taehyung opened his eyes slowly, the tranquility of the moment lingering in his gaze as he smiled at Sai. "I apologize for causing worry, Sai. The quiet here is a welcome escape from the hunt."

Sai nodded, understanding the prince's dislike towards the royal's pastime. "Your presence is missed, Shehzade. The Maharaja grows impatient."

Taehyung sighed softly, sitting up and dusting off the grass from his attire, Sai also helped him to do so. "Very well, let us return. But first, tell me, Sai, have you ever seen such a serene place? It's as if time itself pauses to breathe."

Sai glanced around, taking in the peaceful scenery. "Sachme, bohot sundar hai ab pata chala aap yahan kyun ayen..! {It is beautiful, Shehzade. I can see why you find solace here.}"

His attendants exchanged glances, understanding the prince's love for the peaceful breaks he often sought. The Maharaja's men, standing a respectful distance away, awaited Sai's signal before approaching further. Sai, knowing the delicate balance between Taehyung's need for solitude and his duty, spoke again, her voice gentle yet firm.

"Your presence is awaited, Shehzade. The Maharaja wishes for your company" Sai spoke, her tone carrying both duty and concern.

With a gentle gesture, Taehyung rose to his feet, his movements graceful and unhurried. He approached Khyab, who nuzzled his hand affectionately. "Let's not keep my father waiting any longer."

The group began their journey back to the hunting grounds, the peaceful aura of the stream fading into the background as the sounds of the forest took over. The journey back was quiet, the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of birds accompanying them as they made their way through the green scenery. Taehyung, ever mindful of his role and the expectations upon him, wore his princely demeanor with ease, though the memory of the falcon's unexpected visit and its unknown message lingered in his heart. As they rode, Taehyung's mind wandered back to the note from the falcon, its words carved deeply into his thoughts.

Love is the ink that writes poetry on the parchment of our souls, crafting verses of devotion that endure beyond the ages.

The mysterious author, Jungkook, had stirred something within him, a curiosity mingled with a sense of destiny. Who was this Jungkook?

Upon reaching the grounds, Taehyung dismounted from his steed and called softly for his father, his voice melodious, synonymed to honey seemed to soften the Maharaj's stern gaze.

"Pitaji...," Taehyung greeted with a warm smile, acknowledging the Maharaja's presence with unwavering respect and love.

" Shehzade Taehyung, where have you been my son? We were so worried. Don't you know? your presence enriches our gathering," The Maharaja uttered as he embraced his son, the hug brimming of fatherly love.

Breaking their hug, Taehyung kissed his father's forehead, gaining gasps and sparking wonder from the others present, at the affection and freedom he shared with his father. "I sought a moment of peace by the river, Father. I apologize for my absence."

The Maharaja's expression eased into a smile. "You have always had a wandering spirit, my son. Your heart seeks the peace of nature, and it is this balance that makes you a wise and compassionate prince. Do not apologize for seeking peace. Join us now; the hunt is nearly over."

Taehyung chose to rest under a tree's shade with Sai for his company and attendants loyally guarding them, he paid no attention to the hunt which was going on for he felt a sort of empathy for the poor stag which was being chased.

"Shehzade, aaj sham se to hamare rajya ka mahotsav arambh ho rha hai, mai to apke nritya pradarshan ke lie bohot utsuk hun, mujhse or sabar nahi hota. Apke manmohak nritya ke prarambh ke bina, mahotsav adhuri hai!...{Your Highness, this evening marks the beginning of our kingdom's grand festival. I am greatly enthused for your dance performance; my anticipation knows no bounds. Without the captivating start of your dance, the festival would be but a fraction of its potential splendor!}" Sai said as she gold hold of prince Taehyung's hand hard, her eyes sparkling the excitement of the festival, authentic to their own kingdom. From tonight, it will mark its beginning.

"Chandravasa vakeyi me hamare rajya ka anokha utsav hai, chandra devi ke kripa ke vajah se hi aj ham yahan, itni pragati kr rhe hai! {"Chandravasa marks a unique festival in our kingdom, for it is through the grace of the Moon Goddess that we have prospered to this day!}" Taehyung uttered while smiling, grasping onto Sai's hands harder. Soon both bursted into a series of giggles and laughter, being able to contain their joy no more.

The palace was filled with excitement as preparations for the grand festival of "Chandravasa" were in full swing. The kingdom's finest artisans and decorators had been summoned to transform the palace and its surroundings into a spectacle of celestial beauty, befitting the unparalleled enchantment of the Moon Goddess.

Silken banners woven with finest silver embroidery fluttered gently in the breeze, while shimmering lanterns and glowing orbs were strategically placed to mimic the twinkling stars. The air was thick with the fragrance of fresh jasmine and sandalwood, mingling with the earthy aroma of marigold garlands that adorned every archway and pillar.

Courtyards and gardens were a hive of activity. Servants and craftsmen worked tirelessly, weaving floral canopies and arranging ornamental chandeliers that reflected the ethereal glow of the moon. The sounds of laughter and cheerful chatter filled the air as everyone, from the highest noble to the humblest servant, contributed to the preparations with joy and devotion.

Musicians played softly in the background, their melodies weaving an enchanting tapestry of sound that seemed to float on the breeze. The rhythmic beats of the tabla and the sweet strains of the sitar harmonized with the songs of birds and the rustling leaves, creating a symphony that celebrated the divine presence of the Moon Goddess.

In the heart of the palace, the grand ballroom was being prepared for the evening's main event. Crystal chandeliers hung like sparkling constellations from the ceiling, casting a warm, celestial glow over the polished marble floors. A grand stage had been erected, draped in luxurious fabrics of midnight blue and silver, awaiting the performance that would honor the goddess.

And the most splendid aspect of this festival was that even the commoners were invited to partake in the celebrations and revel in the splendor of the palace. Once deemed harmless by the vigilant guards, they were welcomed with open arms. It was Shehzade Taehyung's heartfelt desire to celebrate this auspicious occasion with everyone, bridging the gap between the royals and the people, and fostering a spirit of unity and joy.

And thus, Taehyung was the most beloved among all the royal children. Though he was neither of the Maharaja's blood nor his only child, his position as the youngest endeared him to all. He had an elder brother, Yuvraj Tirth, and an elder sister, Rajkumari Anvesha, yet it was Taehyung who was cherished above all. The older royal children will arrive from their visit to the neighbouring country, well not today.

Despite being heirs to such a magnificent realm, they never found solace within its borders, always yearning to explore foreign lands and criticize the state of their own kingdom. Princess Anvesha, though not spoiled or malicious, harbored boundless affection for her elder brother and thus accompanied him wherever he went. Conversely, Prince Tirth harbored disdain for Taehyung, viewing his habits and way of perception as a transgression, for his beauty surpassed that of any other maiden.

As the sun began to set, a hush fell over the palace. The first stars began to twinkle in the twilight sky, and the moon, full and radiant, ascended majestically, casting its silvery light over the kingdom. The palace, now illuminated by countless lamps and lanterns, seemed to glow with a divine luminescence, as if the moon itself had descended to bless the festivities.

Nobles and courtiers, dressed in their finest attire, gathered in the grand courtyard. Their silken garments, adorned with jewels and embroidered with celestial motifs, shimmered in the moonlight. Taehyung, resplendent in his regal attire, moved gracefully among his guests, his presence commanding and serene.

Taehyung stood all confident in his attire, resembling the very essence of the Moon Goddess herself. Clad in a silver lahenga that cascaded like moonlight around him, each fold and drape shimmering with delicate embroidery that mirrored the stars in the night sky. The fabric, soft and flowing, hugged his slender frame with grace, while authentic  silver jewelry adorned his ears, neck, head and wrists, sparkling like distant constellations.

His complexion, fair and luminous under the moon's gentle gaze, seemed to radiate a celestial glow. His hair, dark and glossy, was styled elegantly, framing his features like a halo. Eyes, deep and contemplative, held a glint of mystery, reflecting the serene beauty of the night sky.

The evening commenced with a grand procession, led by Taehyung himself, carrying a silver urn filled with sacred water. As he moved, the ghungroos on his anklets chimed softly, adding a melodic rhythm to his steps that echoed the peaceful rhythm of moonlit waves. Every movement exuded poise and grace.

It felt as if he had stepped out of a painting of the divine allure of the heavens. The procession wound its way through the palace grounds to the sacred altar, where offerings were made to the Moon Goddess. Prayers were whispered, and blessings sought, as the kingdom paid homage to the divine force that had guided and protected them.

As the grand celebration and prayers to the moon goddess continued, two travelers who spoke a different language conversed

"What exquisite surroundings! So enchanting," remarked a man with raven-black hair and features befitting royalty, though currently in disguise.

"My esteemed Highness, behold the kingdom of Maitreya, where the renowned festival of Chandravasa is about to commence. Look! The beloved prince of this nation approaches. Remarkably, he shares a lineage with our homeland!" the shorter female by his side informed him.

The raven head was lost in the enchantment of the beauty who synonymed the moon goddess herself, a deity whose presence graced the earthly realm.

Soon, the announcer heralded his majestic arrival.

"Maitreya ke sabse chote rajkumar, or hamare sammaniya Maharaja ke priya putra, hamare is mahan mahotsav ka arrambh apne devniya nritya se krne ja rhe hai!!!! {"The youngest prince of Maitreya and the beloved son of our esteemed Maharaja, are about to inaugurate this grand festival with his divine dance!}

The resonant beats of the tabla and the mellifluous tones of flute and shehnai intensified. Prince Taehyung decorated the stage with his majestic presence, a pot with ignited fire, which was dancing upon his head. Gasps of awe rippled through the audience at his unparalleled balance and graceful presence.

"Fetch me pen and parchment, ChengJin." The raven male said.

As ChengJin handed him the paper and pen he scribbled some words. but didn't intimate them to ChengJin.

"Ab- what did write, my divine highness?" ChengJin uttered.

『 "Your presence, my love, makes the moon goddess blush, for your beauty outshines the stars themselves, weaving enchantments that entwine my soul with  yours, in eternal ecstasy."
