The cosy warmth of the hotel room made you flutter your eyelids open. Your face was gently resting on a bare, muscled chest, with strong arms wrapped around your torso.
You squint at first, and a warm breath gently escapes your mouth. Your eyes lift with anticipation, a soft smile playing at the corners of your lips as you gaze at your soulmate, peacefully sleeping.
The dirty blond hair lay messily around his forehead. He appeared serene and peaceful in his slumber. You took a deep breath, remembering how you and your soulmate talked about his clingy best friend and shared your feelings about it. Namjoon could see that this matter was still bothering you greatly. And it was not because you were jealous of his friendship with Jia; it was Jia's inability to accept no for an answer.
She can not understand that Namjoon is no longer interested in her after they bonded. Namjoon was aware that getting rid of Jia would be difficult because she had already become involved in his family dynamics. His family adores her because she has been there since the beginning, and his sister already considers her a sister, but when they received the news that he may have found his soulmate, they were overjoyed.
When he told them he had found his soulmate, they were overjoyed and eager to see their new daughter-in-law as soon as possible. Even his sister was happy.
Your inner happiness just kept growing as you thought back to that romantic night when you shared everything that was on your mind. You even mentioned that you were going to call Eduardo and let him know about meeting your destiny. Poor count Eduardo would be devastated because you are a pure redgold string who has already system married.
You smirk as you quietly trace circles on his chest to wake him up. You giggle gently as you notice his eyelids flicker and a deep dimple form on his cheek as he smiles down at your delighted gaze.
"Morning darling," You cooed as you crawled up his chest, arms around his shoulders, and kissed him softly on the lips, "How did you sleep?"
Namjoon chuckled breathlessly as his arms tightened around your torso, "Morning, darling, I had the loveliest dreams, sleeping in the embrace of a rare beauty and waking up to a glorious sight of perfection." He smirks as you begin to giggle.
You chuckle quietly, "You are truly a poet...filled with a tongue drenched in honey."
Namjoon smirked as his hands entangled in your dark chocolate dishevelled hair, his eyes overflowing with love,"Vicsy I am madly in love with you. Never, ever question my love again. You are my past, my present and my future. Nothing will change that. Okay," he said, gazing intently into your hazel eyes. He understands that he needs to continuously reassure you of his enduring love for you.
You nod quietly and add, "I know you love me...and I love you too, Joon. I just do not trust Jia around you. Now that she realises you have kind of moved on, her tactics are getting a bit clearer.
Namjoon's eyes darken." I will not even face her since she wants my attention, which I refuse to give her. So, sweetie, do not be concerned. I am yours and yours alone."
You can not help but smile as your soulmate lifts your face to his and plants a passionate kiss on your lips, leaving you breathless.
"Let us have some early romance before breakfast...what do you think?" He raised his eyebrows at your flushed cheeks.
You pursed your lips, indicating your desire for some early morning romance.
"All right, Mrs. Kim, come give your husband some love." Without warning, he flipped you over and began kissing you passionately and fervently again.
....
After breakfast
You and Namjoon are all set for the day. Their stylist has already delivered each member's attire to their hotel rooms because their schedule will begin quite early.
Bangtan will stop by their Line Friends BT21 pop-up store in downtown Hollywood before heading to the Grammy Museum at 7 p.m. for an exclusive interview and performance in front of 200 lucky ARMY'S who were fortunate enough to secure tickets to the sold-out event.
The boys and their management were ecstatic when their idol song won its fifth Koreas Music Show victory.
Namjoon told the management that he and his soulmate would have breakfast in his room.
The Bangtan brothers were having a great time as they sat in the breakfast restaurant at the Ritz hotel. Dressed and ready for the days filled schedule.
They were even quietly discussing the expose on E-entertainment and online gossip columns about the famous rapper Jia and Namjoon's friendship, as well as the intimate images that were splattered across all of the tabloids in the Los Angeles news stands. Even about the group's exploits in other countries. Bangtan is all over the news right now, and it looks like the dating scandal with Park Jia is making waves again.
In order to protect themselves from prying eyes, the four Bells were sitting by themselves while wearing staff lanyards. The American paparazzi are way more relentless, and they will do whatever it takes to uncover scandals behind the 'squeaky' clean images of the Bangtan Boys.
Most people are unaware that they were trained to strengthen their humility, character, and conduct outside of the agency. Bighit does not want the guys soulmates to be in the spotlight just yet since they are waiting for the final two soulmates to emerge. Jungkooks and Jimins soulmates. That’s going to lead to a total meltdown, because then there won’t be any hope for those toxic fans with their delusional expectations.
Seokjin furrowed his brows as he looked at the other BTS hyungs, across from him,"Guys do you think Joons soulmate will be affected by this new expose. My word! The guy just can not catch a break. That Jia rapper is trying to make his life miserable."
Yoongi took a bite of his toast, his gaze drifting from his soulmate, Jiho, to his hyung, "We informed Joon that his relationship with this rapper is destined to be a real trap. The agency just needs to share the exciting news that Joon has found his soulmate.Maybe Jia will finally catch on.She is really annoying right now...Vicky does not seem to take any crap. A typical lawyer with a keen intellect. For Joonie, I like this girl. She will keep him on his toes."
"I heard Joonie mention that she also had a very high IQ," Hobi laughed. So they are genuine soulmates...I can imagine their conversation ...poetry, art and politics, yikes!" The hyungs snickered at Hobis' scrunched-up nose.
Yoongi chuckles dryly, "I can just imagine them during their romantic exploits, passionately repeating lines from Shakespeare and Socrates...".
Hobi smirks, "And boy is he jealous; he nearly murdered Jimin with his dragon eyes."
Seokjin burst out laughing, and the boys just shook their heads. They know how long Joonie has wanted to meet his soulmate, and now that he has, they do not think he will be so stupid as to mess it up.
"Five bells and two to go...and then comes the dreaded reveal," Yoongi murmured.
"Hey, do you think ARMY would have our backs if our agency goes ahead and reveals who our soulmates are?" Hobi asked, a hint of worry in his voice.
True ARMY will always be there for us when we find our happiness. We are not robots and they are not delulu. BTS and ARMY are like family. I believe they want us to be happy and settled." Yoongi answered back.
Seokjin chuckled, "Our Bells are the first invisible celebrities whom everyone knows but has never met, seen, or spoken with. The Bells are already well-known, and they are in line for brand ambassadorship, TV series, and talk show appearances, as well as vehicle sponsorships, once the girls are unveiled."
Hobi furrowed his brow, "And it is weird that they did not do anything openly, yet they are already spoiled."
Yoongi moaned, "Blinks are definitely going to hate me."
Just then the management gathered the Bells and some female staff to go to the awaiting vans. So, it looks like Namjoon's soulmate is hanging out with some staff in the foyer, just waiting for the rest of the Bells to show up. Tala was hanging out with Vicky, having a nice chat when they spotted the four Bells running up to them, all smiles, and giving them big hugs. The Bells were dressed in adorable outfits, each one sporting a staff lanyard around their necks.
“Wow, it’s really great to see you all! We are going to have a fabulous day! "Little Funsize gushed.
Samiya looked at your cheerful expression and asked, "Girl, are you all right?... about you know what?"
You merely shrugged and nodded. "Yes, we discussed it last night, and he knows what I want. I will not lie, it really bothered me." You pursed your lips tightly,"but do not worry...I am coping with it."
Funsize mutters gently as you both walk side by side to the black van that is waiting for you. "She is like a gnat!"
Jiho giggles, "Rest assured, we have each other's backs." "And Yun is our best general."
Everyone settled into the vehicle, getting comfy. Tala was up front with Samiya and Akira, while Sade, her manager and bodyguard, took the passenger seat. In the back, you found yourself sitting between Jiho and Yunru.
The ride was super chill as you all chatted about your flight to NYC after the AGT, where your soulmates are going to perform.
Akira smiled at you and asked, "Are you coming with us on the charter flight?"
You smirk and shake your head, "Oh no...my family is heading out to NYC tomorrow. Tala and I will follow then after AGT. We are going to meet a beloved family member at his hotel. I also want Joon to meet him before he departs for the Philippines."
Tala turned back in her seat and nodded, "Yes, but we will also see the show. My uncle wants to spend some time with me before Vicky and I travel for Seoul."
Yunru's eyes widened. "So you both are entertainment lawyers?"
Tala grinned, "No, just me...Vicky focuses in corporate law. So we are busy starting our own practice...and Bangpd offered us our first little clientele."
Samiya appeared stunned, "Our wow! That is very prestigious. Who are your clients? You have not even started."
You giggle at their shocked reactions,"Guess...Bangtan!"
"Wow, ladies, that is quite a big client! Bangtan is massive!"Jiho whisper-yelled.
Vicky laughed softly, "I know... we’ll be dealing with cases like online defamation against any artist from Bighit. So, if online trolls start spreading lies, we will definitely be on top of that."
Yunru smirked, "That is awesome... last year when my so-called best friend posted a damning kissing video of us online, I got massive hate and defamation, and Bighit fought for me. Their lawyers really came through for me, and before I knew it, those defamatory videos and online trolls were getting sued. I am really glad you all are on the legal team. I wish you good luck in your endeavour."
"Thank you...so it means we might have a special office too at the legal department at Bighit," Tala smiled. According to Bangpd, it also allows Vicky and Joon to see one another without the public's attention.
"Wow really brilliant!" Akira was amazed.
"So we hope to see you when we come by for meetings," Tala said with a smile.
"I hope you can put an end to the online leaks and rumours about Joon's private images," Yunru said dryly.
You merely nodded." We suspected Jia was the one who shared those photos. Now she claims that someone hacked her laptop and shared the pictures. What a lame excuse,"
Yunru snorted, "That girl has stakerish tendencies." I noticed how she glanced at Joon during their backstage meeting. Talking very flirtatious and hushed with him."
With a serious expression, Samiya said, "To be honest, I do not trust that hip hop hussy!"
The girls began giggling at Sami's unhappy expression. Due to Joon's constant desire to meet his soulmate, they do not want you to have soulmate problems.
The group was overjoyed as they all entered the amazing Line Friends pop-up store. The soulmates and other staff made sure they were out of sight as the boys shot promotional photos.
They created handprints and took photos with their characters. You and Tala made sure you bought all the boys BT21 plush toys for your beds at home. The rest of the Bells wasted no time purchasing their soulmates' plushies. Even the boys stuffed their bags with lovely mechanisms. These BT21 items are going to fly off the shelves as soon as they become available to everyone.
You and your soulmate sneak little glances at each other while they are caught up in their fun activities. He looked really good in his white sweater t-shirt and denim jeans that showed off his fit physique. And what is more thrilling is that he will be celebrating his 24th birthday.
They spent a couple hours at the pop-up stores, taking several photos. All these events really boosted the promotion of their newly released album, "Love Yourself: Answer," and the "Love Yourself World Tour."
Puma dropped the promotional videos of the boys on the same day, and it had their soulmates all excited.
The group was invited to spend the day on the Grammy Museum's rooftop for lunch and promo photos before the evening event.
Some of female staff that accompany you arrive first at the Grammy Museum and the rest of the management, bodyguards and Bangtan shortly follow in their signature black vans.
Only photos can be taken in the foyer. The Bells take plenty of photos of themselves. You have been added to the special Bells chatroom.
Management offered you all time to look at the Grammy exhibitions, which impressed you greatly.
The museum has four floors with changing exhibitions that allow visitors to explore a variety of interactive touchscreens. You enjoy watching ancient music videos and exploring recording booths. They enjoyed the exhibits from the collection of historical music artefacts such as Grammy Award costumes and instruments.
You felt that one day BTS will also perform at the Grammys and their costumes will be exhibit in theses same locations.
You ate a small luncheon on the terrace for a while. It was very peaceful as you sat down on the sofas specifically arranged for Bangtan and their managers. The staff went ahead and ordered the Bells nutritious meals, which are quite filling. This is because, after the event, the museum has a special buffet lined up for BTS and their crew.
Interaction with your soulmates was limited because the majority of the servers and waiters on the roof terrace focused solely on the female staff. But you were all taught to avoid showing too much affection to your soulmates and to maintain a serious, passive attitude. It was difficult because your gaze was continuously drawn to your soulmate, who could not help but smirk discreetly at you.
Some of the young waiters were not so subtle, flirting with the Hyungs and notably the younger maknaes. They all knew Jungkook, Jimin, and maybe Namjoon were still single, so extra eye contact was made with the trio in the hopes of unexpectedly bonding.
Samiya and Jiho were in stitches when you sat down to have some refreshing cocktails after lunch.
Samiya turned to face Funsize, who scowled and said, "Do these girls want to be killed? Why are they so obsessed with our soulmates?"
Jiho smiles, "They want to see if they can bond with the unmated boys. Look how the eyes shine when Chimmy moves."
Tala laughed gently," Jk and Jimin do not seem impressed with them. Namjoon just has eyes for his sweetheart."
Samiya smiled, "They are still in the honeymoon phase. As long as Vicky touches him occasionally to give him energy, it is inevitable."
While some of the staff relaxed on the roof top with the Bells, Bangtan went with their makeup stylists to dress in their new outfits. They then followed their management and had a meeting with the event host, as well as taking some promotional photos for the Grammy Museum's social and official accounts. The army will be quite thrilled to see the boys' posts.
The scene outside the Grammy museum was electrifying. There was palpable excitement and buzz around that only BTS could generate.Lucky ARMY came out in full force as the long winding queue snakef even around the corner. Some of the fans held dazzling banners with the boys' names to attract attention, while others wore purple hoodies and even homemade shirts with BTS slogans.
The line stretches all the way around the building and into the street. Despite the fact that it was not a true concert, several Army members held Army bombs. A few young ARMY members had created their own headband using the guys' names.
That group of friends who showed up two hours early really made themselves at home on the sidewalk, sipping iced coffees and waving their portable fans decorated with their bias faces in the hot Los Angelos afternoon.
Excited squeals and chatter filled the air when they suddenly spotted some BTS staff members in the foyer. News quickly spread through the group that their boys had already arrived and were inside the museum. The phones were all set to snap every moment. They took selfies with new friends, showing off their original outfits, and there were those YouTube influencers capturing fun footage of the growing lines.
The museum staff occasionally came to the lines to check the validity of the tickets and reminding the fans to stay hydrated in the warm atmosphere. The staff could not help but be amazed by the fans' giddy excitement. It was so lively that it felt more like a concert than just a regular conversation event.
The anticipation was high but the ARMY didn't care to wait in the hit weather in queue. Instead, they exchanged free photocards, while others practiced questions to ask the boys if given the opportunity. They talked about the tour, the albums they bought, the merch they picked up, and the shows they went to in LA. Some mentioned they’re planning to catch the NYC shows too.
The level of excitement was great. The ARMY was diverse from teenagers to middle ages , local and international Army were present and all share a love for Bangtan.
Everyone was really looking forward to seeing their boys up close and personal.
The staff members were given special seats at the front and sides so they could get a good view of the group.
You were quite excited since you would be watching Joon as the BTS leader in action. Samiya and Yunru were giggling, wondering if Seokjin and Taehyung would join the conversation. Samiya is not really sure, but Akira mentioned that all the boys might have something to say.
They were seated first, but when it was time for the programme to begin, the little auditorium was dimmed and the entire theatre was illuminated with purple neon lights that strategically greeted the ARMY.
Soon, all of the seats were filled with eager ARMYS who did not want to wait and instead took selfies. A few people sitting a bit away from the front were eyeing the staff's seating area with curiosity, and soon enough, they began to whisper excitedly to each other.
"Wow, you guys...check it out, it is their stylists, their personal physio therapist, and look, there is their video editor! The maknae's best friend and her best friend.
"Hey, it is Ji-ho from Blackpink, but did you know she is also an actress?" one fan whispered back.
"She's friends with the youngest editor who work for Bangtantv and she's a model also with Ji-ho.." Another sound excited.
"Looks like Bighit is bringing in more young talent! I really should apply to be a makeup artist." One mused gleefully.
The evening kicked off with a friendly introduction from Scott Goldman, the Artistic Director of the Grammy Museum, who also took on the role of interviewer.
Suddenly, the original "Idol" music video was shown on the screen. ARMY began to sway and sing along, with many even singing the lyrics in Korean. The energy was anxious yet upbeat as the ARMYs prepared to see their idols in real life, with the crowd breaking into thrilled screams as J-Hope, Jin, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and RM walked across the stage.
The appearance of Bangtan changed the atmosphere immediately after the host welcomed them in. There were squeals of delight and amazed expressions, while other fans began to hyperventilate and wave sheepishly to the members, who returned the wave with great smiles. They were extremely adorable and friendly as their eyes flew over their beloved ARMY.
As the evening began, given the palpable excitement level, Goldman even ask the fans to allow for the conversation to happen in front of them. ARMYs decided to keep their screams and cheers to a minimum during the night, showing respect for the special moment they were all experiencing together.
The Bells smirk as they watch ARMY, who suddenly lose their cool in the cutest way when they start singing happy birthday to Namjoon, their beloved RM, whose birthday is just around the corner, right as the group steps onto the stage. The crowd flashing finger-hearts in the air to show their love to Bangtan. Bangtan were snickering at Namjoons flushed expression.
You and Tala giggle quietly at Joon's bashful demeanour and those deep dimples that captivated the audience. Samiya discreetly texted you to inform you that Joon's ex was in the audience in the third row from the front; she even had a picture of Jia seated next to Demi Lovato, and the other celebs present included rappers, models, Hollywood actors, and sports stars from the NBA and NFL who were friends with Bangtan. They sat in a reserved row up front.
When the group sat down with Scott Goldman, the Grammy Museum artistic director, in the Clive Davis Theater to have an intimate conversation with him about their fans, their songwriting process, and how their music has evolved through the years.
The fans were totally awestruck because they know just how talented and deserving the boys are of every recognition they have earned so far. You all sat there pleasantly surprised to hear how involved and collaborative they are in their songwriting process.
Akira noticed the softness in Hobis's eyes as he spoke with humility.
J-Hope smiled and said, "We all put in a lot of effort to do our parts, whether it is writing lyrics or creating songs. We attempt to participate as much as we can. I think our participation in the process makes the music more sincere, and it changes our attitude about how we approach ourselves." He spoke in Korean as an interpreter was translating their input.
Fans were ecstatic to see them up close.
You were pleasantly pleased by Maknae-line's confidence in public speaking.
"I believe a lot of the change happens in the recording booth when we are actually recording a song," Jimin continued. "The lyrics and melody that may seem OK . . . once we actually start recording it, we may identify some problems. So then we'll come together, we'll discuss it, and then we'll talk about the changes that we can make."
"I think our participation in the process makes the music more sincere, and it changes our attitude about how we approach ourselves." Yoongi added and how they need to keep up with the evolving music industry.
Jungkook said, "I try not to categorize the music that I listen to. I enjoy a lot of K-pop, American pop, and worldwide music. I listen to the lyrics and try not to separate the genres. I listen to English lyrics, and it occasionally inspires me. So right now, I am attempting to listen to as many different kinds of music as possible in a broad sense." He cutely added in Korean.
Fans were not the only ones who felt the love. Goldman smiled and asked, "Why do you value your relationship with your fans so much?"
Taehyung mentioned that, while their hard work and unique styles have really propelled their group forward, the members are also aware that their international success is thanks to their fans. He spoke in Korean, as he shared a touching message that many of the crowd aww-ed at even before the on-stage translator shared his words in English.
"We are constantly grateful and know that we are here because of our fans, who provided us with the wings that allowed us to be where we are and sort of soar to where we are now. So I think that's why we have this relationship with our fans," Tae said, as shared in English by the translator.
Then Goldman asked, "Why do you think it's important to talk about the pressures that teens face in their music?"
Jiho sat with a huge smile when her soulmate , Yoongi shared how music was such an important part of his development as young person, and that they knew that sharing their stories would help others around the world going through similar experiences, and that was what they wanted to give to their fans. This is clearly a big part in what makes the group and the music so relatable, such a personal experience for their fans.
"When I think back to when I was younger, when I was a student, I listened to a lot of music and I think it was a way for me to escape and a way for me to sort of reassure myself, and I think nowadays, teens, people in their early 20s, listen to music, but I felt, and we felt, that there really aren't a lot of good sounding, healthy music that they can listen to that really helps them, that there is a lack that we could fill...I think young people all over the world face these pains, sorrows, problems, so I think that's why we sing these songs and I think that's why our fans and our listeners can really relate to our music," Yoongi explained eloquently, through the translator.
Goldman posed the question, "How do you choose the overall themes for your albums and build them through songs, similar to how rock operas are done?"
Namjoon than explained that the themes they choose are based on what is relevant to all seven of them and their experiences at the time, and what they feel will also be to their peers/fans, and therefore has developed with them as they've grown – from school, to youth, to love.
"When we want to find topics and we want to find stories, it's what is in our real mind. So five years ago, in our debut, we talked about schools. And we talked about schools with three albums, and then we talked about youth with 3 albums, and then folks grow up," Namjoon shared. Our attitude towards life kinda changed a little bit, and we thought ... the story the world most needs is love."
The room was full of anticipation after the conversation finished. You could feel the tension shift into relief. The soft, excited chatter transformed into pure happiness and awe as Bangtan stood up gracefully, bowing slightly while sharing some personal words with Goldman.
There were hugs and handshakes, and then they strolled around the stage area, bowing and waving warm thank yous to ARMY, making everyone feel appreciated as the fans pulled out their phones to capture their bias.
The audience left with lasting memories of an unforgettable evening.
Backstage photos were shot with several celebrities who paid extra to get a good picture with the band. Unfortunately for Jia and her friends, they were too late to take any photos or meet Bangtan, as their managers whisked them away with the Grammy personnel to the rooftop restaurant, where they will enjoy a buffet dinner specially prepared for them and their team.
Management made certain that you and Tala were strategically ushered into the elevator with Jimin, Jungkook, Namjoon, and their bodyguards.
There you were, standing with a playful grin next to your smirking soulmate at the back of the elevator, holding hands in a subtle way.
Your fingers were intertwined as you gently said, "I am so proud of you, darling..."
The way he squeezed your hand said it all—he is really happy you were there for him...
